unethical behavior
There is this worker named Julliet, i don't remember her last name, she works at Dick Sporting Goods in the Palisades Mall. I've recently encountered her a few days back and received such customer service. She was not willing to help me with finding a fitting room and was overall rude. Please excuse her from her job, she's putting a bad representation towards the store.

My daughter and I went shopping for Black Friday yesterday afternoon. We had a terrible experience because there was little or no signage on the metal racks and the wooden stands holding clothes as to whether clothes were on sale and if they were boys, girls, men's or women's. It was like playing a guessing game. Also, the clothing tags were no help either because they don't identify gender or age group. My daughter finally made a purchase after much frustration but we were very disappointed at how the store and sales were arranged and identified. If it wasn't for the fact that she had a good coupon, we would have left empty handed.

I know that this girl currently works at store #1325, and she is always complaining about her job and slandering others via social media. Not great representation for the company. She always tries to get people fired that she does not work well with, and I was a victim of that. Now that I have quit, she still does that same thing and harasses me on social media. Not a good look!
unable to use coupon
On September 30, 2017 I went to your Natick, Ma location to buy a rain/weather resistant jacket. I chose to shop there due to the fact that I had a 10% off coupon.
I selected an $80 Columbia rain jacket. When I got to the register and presented my coupon I was told that it did not apply as the coupon stated “10% off athletic apparel.”
I was quite surprised that I was told that I could not use it. That was the reason I went to your store in the first place. In my opinion “apparel” is something that someone wears.
I purchased the jacket anyway. However, it has been bothering me since then. I just wanted to write a quick email to let you know that this particular coupon was somewhat misleading. I had several coupons sent to me in that same mailing and none of the rest of them were applicable.
I really enjoy shopping at your store but was quite disappointed in this one particular transaction.

I went to front talked to Erin suprvisor what happened he apologized gave me 25 % off
What is sad because I am black he treated me I was there to still never looked at me as buyer

Today 9/22/17 at 12:30 I went into Dick's in Roosvelt Field Mall.
I was looking to buy cleats for my son. They were very busy but I waited my turn patiently. When the sales boy was up to me I asked him if he could measure my son to see what size cleat would be best. He told me that they didn't measure at Dick's. Ok so I gave him my best guess at what size I felt my son would be. I waited for a while for him to come back with the cleats thinking maybe he was having trouble finding them. I asked a different sales boys if he knew if he had found the cleats or if he was having trouble located them. This other sales boys told me that the guy who was helping me went on break. I said that I was waiting on him to come back and let me know about the cleats. He just said we have a schedule and it was his break time. Ok so now I know that I was not important because I was just left to stand there, instead of letting me know.
So I ask the other sales boy if he could help me and he said NO he was busy with other people, I would have to get back on line behind them. I didn't think that was right but ok I figured to not make trouble and I went to the back of the line. When I finally got back up to the front I asked him for a size 12 cleats and instead of him going to check he just said we don't have them and moved on to the next person. So I asked him again for a different pair to check for and he told me again that he was too busy to look for cleats. Now I am waiting AGAIN and I nicely wait again for my turn to be helped.
Now about 40 minutes later a sales girl comes to help. She helped the people right in front of me. The woman in front of my asked the sales girl to measure her daughters feet. She said no problem I will do that now. So now I know I was lied to from the first guy who was helping me. So finally it's my turn again and I have the sales boy who didn't have time for me before to help me. I asked him if he could measure my sons feet to see which size would be best. But what does he tell me, We don't measure peoples feet here. So now two of the sales people are lying to me. Ok so I asked him for a size 12 and he just said they didn't have any size 12 cleats. So he goes and helps someone else, I didn't deserve to just be dismissed like that. I was very nice and kept my calm during the whole time. so now I walked up the the girl sale person and she was very nice and helped me right away and said she would go get them right away. She brought out the cleats we wanted in a size 12 (that the sales boy said you didn't have) and we bought them. If my son didn't need them this weekend I would have walked out of your store. I was very upset about the whole thing and how it happened. If my two boys ages 5 and 7 who were there with me weren't hungry I would have gone to the manager right away. However my two were crying that they were hungry and wanted to leave. I didn't want them to go through anything else in your store so we left.
I am always overly nice to the sales people and I continued to be nice to the two sales guys who treated me like a was a piece of garbage. I have been in stores before were the sales people are not the nicest or are in a bad mood but I have never been in a situation like I was today with people treating me so poorly. This is the first negative letter I have ever written about anything before.
I will never shop in your stores again and I will let people know how badly I was treated today.
Your sales people could use a lesson in treated people the right way and how not to treat them like they are garbage.

ethos ftr - dick's order #[protected]
I ordered the Ethos FTR rack (SKU [protected]) from Dick's Sporting Goods on 8/14/2017 and was told delivery would occur by 8/21/2017 which it did. I was delivered Box 1 of 2. I called UPS and they said Dick's had not uploaded information concerning the number of boxes shipped.
I called the "customer service" department of Dick's after the one box was delivered. The first representative told me I would need to box up the shipment and send it back or go into a local store to get the parts.
I informed him that the rack was only missing the attachments and the bolts to assemble it...that it was missing box 2. He said that my options were to return and re-order or go to the local store. I informed him that the local store did not carry the item (that is why I ordered online)...He said nothing and never ask for my order #.
I called back and got a different representative. I offered to go to the store where they shipped the item from to get the second box...she said I could not and that she would get the shipper (she did not know the name) to contact me and that they could send out the second box in 7 to 12 weeks! She gave me a an incident number of [protected].
It stands to reason that the store that had the item has box 2. I merely wanted them to contact the store and have the second box shipped. I even offered to drive to get it!
the most horrible customer service not only once but every single time
This is probably the 4th time I have shopped at Modesto California Dicks and it gets worse every single time. I am so fed up with the horrible customer service that I am now very determined to complain till I am blue in the face and go higher and higher up the chain of command to be heard. I will also file a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I am targeted evertime I shop here, not to mention a very wealthy customer and if it was not for my husband, I wouldn't spend a dime here! I went in wanting to purchase a Hydroflask, they didnt have the size I wanted and the cashier Cynthia shocked that I asked her to see if they had one at a different location. She radiod for someone else to do it and no one would, but they were all so busy following me around the store asking me 5 times if I needed help finding anything. Pretty ironic? I am appalled at the rude treatment because I look a certain way. I get the whole racial profiling but its not acceptable! The only helpful and pleasant part of my experience was the young lady who helped me at the dressing room, her name was Sydney. She did her job and wad not rude. Just to let you know I will never give my hard earned $ to this corporation and I will let all of my friends, family, and coworkers at the hospital (physicians included) to never spend a penny at any Dicks Sporting Goods! Terrible customer service!

Purchased on line. Unpacking I noticed a small finish imperfection on the top of the club. My guess the flaw is tied to a tiny bubble in the plasticized coating that failed to cure down. I can live with a less than 'mint' golf club. My concern is that the issue is becoming more apparent after a few rounds where the club was used only eight to ten times.

When I received my order first off the boots are not true to color or design and ink securety tag wasn't removed when I called I was told I could drive out 40min. One way to the nearest store or wait for a free return sticker and send back and wait another 2 weeks to recieve them. Seriously if im driving that far it will be for a refund! Great customer service right? Lesson learned
hyperdiamond cleats
I purchased the Nike Hyperdiamond cleats online due to the search suggestions when I googled "best cleats for a softball pitcher" The shoes looked great..I liked the design and lines of the cleat, however these shoes have ripped apart from the soles..They are less than one month old...Poor quality construction! My daughter is a pitcher but has never had shoes wear this way before. I feel like I threw $60 right into the trash!

On 6/4/2017 at about 5:00 pm the bike service male associate who's age is about 50 years old could not hear any questions I asked him. He had an ear piece in his ear to hear other associates in the store speak to him on it. I spent about 10 minutes in this section of the store and asked him about 6 questions. Every time I asked him a question he would say, "what?" Then say he couldn't hear me and have to take the ear piece out of his ear and I'd have to repeat my question in a louder voice. It appeared that he was acting like he couldn't hear me in order to be rude to me on purpose. This employee needs to be retrained in his customer service skills and needs to listen to customers or wear hearing aides if he is hard of hearing.

I bought a set of trekking poles about two years ago.They were Koppen Haltbar adjustable poles.
First time using them the locking mechanism in one seized up and the pole wouldn't collapse. Since it was stuck in its extended position, I continued using it. There is no store really convenient for me to go to (I only went in the first place because I had a gift card and was in the area). Last weekend, the locking mechanism failed completely, and now the pole won't stay extended.
I found the Koppen company website hoping to find the part that failed, not parts available. Every "buy it" link whether in store or online sent you to ***'s. I found their email adress and sent them an email inquiring about parts. I recieved a robo-reply "we're reviewing your inquiry and we'll contact you as soon as we can".
Shortly after that I also received a robo-email from ***'s sporting Goods customer service about the same inquiry. I recieved an email from a ***'s rep in about a day, they suggested I contact Koppen. I replied that I had contacted them but had not yet heard from anyone. The ***'s rep sent me an email with the text from Koppen's email pasted in.
THEY'RE THE SAME COMPANY!
I replied and let them know that I was dissatisfied with the service and very disappoinjted about getting the run-around.Short and long, they can't help me because they don't sell the item anymore and it is out of warranty.

I went in to the dicks sporting goods store in Irving (las colinas) Texas yesterday and was helped by a man named Zee who was incredibly helpful! He had to wait on his manager, Tom to approve the sale. I waited for 20 minutes before he came in from the back with a severely pissed off look on his face. No smile, no hello. Just made a snide remark about my ID. He was more than rude and unpleasant. I'm in the customer service/retail industry and I understand being frustrated but I will not be returning to this store and I'm a regular customer. What a shame that he was given a manger position.

My son purchased this nike fc barcelona supporters ball [midnight navy] from our local dick's sporting goods store in warwick, rhode island. My son purchased this with his birthday money and it was going to be his favorite new soccer ball. However, after one hour of playing soccer the decals started peeling off. What a disappointed. My son was so upset.
nickent omen putter
I just received a Nickent Omen Tour Series 2 Putter in the mail and as soon as I opened the box I saw that the bottom of the putter is chipping and just doesn't look good and brand new (picture below)
I also never received the extra weights or tool to fix the weights with the products and I was supposed to.
I am a very consistent and loyal costumer with Dicks and I never usually have any issue with my orders but this bothers me, especially buying something brand new. Having it chipped and forgetting the tool to adjust the club itself is not acceptable to me. Please let me know what I have to do because this is very frustrating.

golf club grips and installation
I went in to dicks a couple of weeks ago to look at golf grips. When i found a few I liked I asked the associate how much it would cost to have them put on. He told me if I buy 10 or more grips he would put them on for free. I told him I would do more research on line and probably return next week with my clubs. After doing some research I decided to go back and make my purchase. I chose the GP MCC MID BKRED grips.
I verified the price of the grips (2.99 per grip) with the associate (same guy who I initially saw) and mentioned that I'm buying 12 grips so there should be no charge for putting them on. He said that was a special they were running and he wasn't sure if that offer was still valid. He told me he would put the order in for me and then I should bring the order slip up to the cashier and she will tell me then if installing the grips were indeed free. I thought this was weird - shouldn't a guy who works in the golf department know if this "special" is still going on.
After much discussion with the cashier it was decided I will not be getting my free install. So I paid the xtra $25.88 and was told I would be called the next day when my clubs were done. The impression I got was they would be ready in the morning so I made plans to test out my new grips by playing 9 holes later that day. When I still hadn't received a call by mid afternoon I called and was told by the same associate that they were ready an hour ago but he didn't call me b/c his phone was tied up. I think I should've been told on that 1st day that the free install is a limited time offer. The way it was presented to me I assumed it was Dick's on-going policy to give free installs as long as you bought 10 or more grips. I realize I could've backed out of the purchase but by now I didn't feel like spending any more time on this by shopping elsewhere.
Btw the sales associate in the golf depart was very friendly and seemed to know his stuff - fitting me with a mid size grip that he said would fit my game best.

Second time it's happen went to buy product the price was mark wrong so I ask about it told them price in the back was diferent they argue with me .both times about it both times it has been the manager too . that I have talk to about the prices . Both times I been told by the managers that I'm was wrong with out them even going in the back and checking the problem .and both times they have actually been to check the prices after they tell I'm wrong and I been right about it. so how about they for once star doing what customers service job is suppose to be this was the store in Gresham Oregon on Eastman
what a terrible waste of money!
I had the worst experience ever! Dick's Sporting Goods is a terrible site, and their service is beyond ridiculous. I made my order back in January and it is already April and still nothing. I contacted them so many times, but they never replied. They finally replied in March and said that my order was cancelled a long time ago!
I was so angry and demanded a full refund, but they changed their tone and said that they sent me a notification about order cancellation and even processed a refund. They were rude! They said that they did their part of the job and if I did not receive my money back that was not responsibility. Never ever use this site, they are horrible. What a terrible waste of money.
