You should label ANY AND ALL movies with a rating have GAY & LESBIAN scenes in them or put in the INFO about the movies that there are Gays & Lesbians in them. Please quit pushing this type of lifestyle on people. If you want this type of crap shown to people, make a QUEER channel so that only these types of movies are on them. Frustrating to be watching a movie & BAM there are queers kissing or hugging or holding hands, etc. Please quit doing this to us!

Not forthcoming with $300 gift card
I called from an internet site of dish around the beginning of September. they told me that there was a $300 gift card for signing up. I completed the sign up, and have been billed twice, but still no card. Called today 10/30, and they said there's no gift card associated with my account, and they cannot do anything about it unless I have a information that was sent through the mail. I don't have anything like that. So was this just an enticement to get people to change.

Sounds like you signed up with a 3rd party retailer that sells Dish services and sets their own marketing.
Fix channels without nudity from being blocked.
We have our channels blocked for nudity but there are a lot of channels that don't have nudity that are showing blocked, for example the Hallmark Channel, LMN and others. When you enter the code you can watch these programs and there is no nudity in them. Please fix this issue so other family members can watch programs that have no nudity.
I keep getting a message saying you need more information but it doesn't say what additional information you need.

There is nothing to fix. If the rating lists that from the MPAA, the system will respect that. Contact the channel owners for an update on their MPAA ratings.
No customer apprieciation
I been a Dish customer off and on for 20+ years - every time the promotion is up dish would BANG my bank account for over 100 dollars a month - { I took their access to my bank account away - } I would call and in order to keep my monthly cost down { 73 monthly } they would take away some programming - but still add about 10 bucks more to my usual monthly...

I am having and have had problems with my Dish dvr systems playback. when I try to play back recordings the picture scrambles and distorts. Like I said I've been having these problems for years and when I complain to Dish customer service they just send out another ( repaired ) unit and before to long it starts distorting again. Every program that I have recorded is now lost and I'm sick and tired of their run around.

Ok so here it goes when the lady came to my door and said would like a $300 gift card to switch from direct tv to dish. I said ok but my mom would like it in her name the lady said ok. That didn't happen was told a 2yrs price lock that needed happen. I have been since June trying to get the gift card i was promised everytime i call its a different story. Im never going to get it they straight up lied dish blames caliber smart they blame dish they all lie i wish never switcted wish i could cancel but can't with out getting charged. Would never ever recommend dish to anyone it's a big scam a joke. It bite's a company that has to lie to get customers isn't a very good company

This joey keeps cutting out starts when the guide disappears, then the screen turns black a message said your joey is not connected to the internet. please unplug to reset nothing happens then try troubleshooting steps this happens two to three time a week last time this happen the agent from dish said they will replace the joey this one is located in the bedroom . they want me to trouble shoot which i did over and over so they what to charge me $99 for a tec to come out the chats agent disconnected the chat twice gilbert then Amanda all i ask that they send out a new joey or remove on joey from my account and i would take joey from the basement and move to the bedroom how more times do i have to deal with this iam keeping up with my agreement dish will not they charge for the rental if i owned the joey that would be different if this is not resolved will cancel the service .

Stopped Dish on 9/23/23. Received email from Dish that they received equipment on 9/25/23. Showed message on account page that "You have a credit balance of $97.23 on your account". Paid $168.05 For service through 10/17/23. Called an agent named Chan on 9/28/23 to ask when I would receive the $97.23 in my checking account. He stated it would be there by 9/29/23. No deposit by 10/5/23. Called Dish again, Agent asked for "code" and could not help me without it. Could not find "code" as service had been cancelled.

Refund never received
I discontinued my service shortly after signing up, not realizing that my whole local sports network was blacked out. I paid the disconnect fee with a personal check after receiving a nasty statement, but Dish then charged that same amount to my credit card for a duplicate payment. I was ‘promised’ a refund by a David Rikkers, a corporate case manager, but over 3 months later I have not received any payment. I keep contacting them and getting nothing but run-around and lies by their employees.

Dish RV Service
I signed up for Dish RV Service in May 2023 I own my Equipment. This was a pay as you go service so the months you dont use it you dont pay. Well I recieved a Bill that i did not know about yesterday from dish stating I owe $195 for me Satellite service. I called dish 3 times and they said they sent my bill to collections when this is a pay as you go account. I need help on what I can do to get this taken care of as I refuse to pay a bill for pay as you go services. Dish is a HORRIBLE company to even try to deal with!
The man even told me on the phone it was Pay as you go NO CONTRACTS! Then I recieve a bill as they said my billing was ongoing when that is a lie!
Is it from the pandemic when the government mandated that accounts couldn’t be shut off for non payment? If so, your complaint is with the government, not with Dish.
Dish failure to send me a $300.00 gift card for switching to Dish from Direct TV
I sent my May 21, 2023 AT&T bill to Dish as part of the process of obtaining a $300.00 gift card for switching from Direct TV to Dish TV. I was told I would receive the card after making 3 monthly payments. I pay the bill automatically using my credit card. (Dish autopay).
After making 3 payments I contacted Dish. I receive the runaround and was eventually told my time to apply for the card had expired. However, I was told I would receive a $100.00 credit on my next monthly bill. As you can probably guess the credit did not happen!

If I were you, I would pursue this until I got my full 300.00, they promised you back when you first signed up for their service and don't stop .
I also was promised a $300 gift card for signing up in May. After several calls I was continually told it was being processed. Not yet received. Called today Oct. 9 and was told I was supposed to be given a security code when I got it installed. No code was given to me so now they say they can't do anything without this promo code. Nice scam they got going.
Add on package I didn’t want
I had updated my packages in July of 2022. I never requested a sports package. In the meantime we went through hurricane Ian in Fla and were flooded out of our home so I wasn’t keeping up with what was going on with my dish package. I suspended it until we got back in our home in December 2022. In talking with reps at dish I find out it was a free promotion at the time for 3 months. As I said I would not have ordered a sports package even if it was free as we don’t watch ANY sports.
I was trying to get reimbursed for this package we never used and didn’t want.
We have had enough problems this last year with our home being mostly destroyed and I didn’t need this added expense.
We have been a dish customer for several years but we are not happy now.

You’re gonna get real upset, but Dish actually doubles the amount of time you have to dispute a charge. By law, you have 30 days, but Dish gives 60. A year is way too much.
Local channels
We have been Dish customers for 23 years, paying their exorbitant prices for premium packages in order to get the few channels we really do want to watch. In addition, we pay an extra monthly fee for local channels which Dish has slowly eliminating. Some time ago they discontinued Channel 22 (ABC) and recently dropped channels 14 and one of our most watched, Channel 5 (NBC), claiming their owners are demanding unreasonable fees to continue broadcasting them. We think it is Dish that is being unreasonable. Although we have lost 3 of the 4 local channels we favor, they have not lowered the price they charge us for them. Gilles [protected].

A price increase is a given. Cost of channel will go up, so cost to offer channel will have to go up. That is simple economics.
Per the FCC, a local channel owner is the only entity that can pull a channel off a provider. Also, providers are, by law, required to make good faith efforts to maintain locals. So, what are you basing your opinions on, that is not contrary to the law? Channel owners do not have the same restriction of being honest or making good faith efforts.
Dish tv's hopper ii receiver is a ripoff! I constantly lose the signal and cannot watch tv most of the time. Do not buy dish!!!
I switched from Direct TV to DISH TV and it is one of the worst mistakes I ever made. The Hopper II is a nightmare and constantly shuts down and will not deliver a signal to any of my tv's. How any company can get away with putting out such horrible equipment is beyond me. My advice to anyone...DO NOT BUY DISH, IT'S A RIPOFF. Plus. Customer service sucks!

Channel black out and resolution for credit
9.26.23- We are paying for channels now blacked out over greed but yet we are still expected to pay our monthly charge? Not fair...definitely considering paying the 1 year early termination fee (another rip off to consumers) and going all streaming which appears to be the way to go these days anyway. Then they make you hold on the phone for over an hour (yes I waited and multitasked), then they disconnect you. Customer service rating a big fat ZERO.
Desired outcome: Give credits to subscribers pro rated for the days these channels are not available.

On hold over 2 hours, service man ran line in your gutter, remote not working right
Many many times I have called dish network once on hold over 2 hours. When we watch a series on amazon, after every series screen goes blank you must push the red reset button and wait for the TV to reload. Called and not fixed or any reason why this happens. The voice button on remote does not work talked with 2 people and they said give it 5 to 7 days someone will look into it. Tomight I called trying to find out how to get the PBS app or where to find it, I spoke with 2 people one had me download the PBS app on my phone, Really! I will be looking for a new TV service tomorrow. Why after they get you signed up to they stop trying to keep your business. Someone needs to fix Dish Network.

8 months ago, we decided to switch to Dish tv We were told we were locked in at 109.60 a month for 3 years but you raised our account $10 telling us it is for insurance. In my mind this voids our 3-year contract, and I can now cancel at any time?! I sent this question and got an answer that was not my question. I feel quite strongly 3 years means 3 years the nice young lady on the phone when I called gave us the outdoor channel free for 3 months to try and help but this does NOT satisfy my question can I now cancel without a penalty. We feel lied to by this company!

You would be incorrect. Your price lock is on the core package. It does not included extras, such as locals, premiums, insurance, or any other added. You can remove the protection plan by choice, but you receive it free for a few months. Strongly encourage you read your contract rather than assume what’s in it based on what you felt the conversation covered.

I had dish for 4days had to call them 2 times every day to try and get it working every day. So I called them and told them to turn it off so they sent me a bill for $581.27 iam not paying that I got no service. If it does not work the first 4 days its not going to work for 2 years I got it on the sept.12 and got rid of it on sept 15 they trid 7 times to make it work...
You’re going to be real disappointed when you read your agreement. They are correct to charge you the termination fee.

Dish doesn’t label any movie or show. That’s done by the channel owner, and the MPAA.
As for crediting the customers… that would be less than $0.01/customer, so not sure the appreciation would be there. Especially as advertising is meant to, you know, bring in new customers. Wild shot in the dark, but you’re not in a business setting for your employment, are you?
