I was in the store on July 16, 2018 at approximately 10:15 a.m. The whole time I was in the store, the alarm was going off, which was very annoying. Customers were complaining. I asked the cashier why the alarm was not being shut off. She indicated the code did not work. I asked why the manager didn't call the security office, and supposedly they did not have the phone number. Apparently your security system is ineffective. That has got to be so distracting to your cashier.
This store is understaffed. Boxes are always in the aisles waiting to be stocked. The few employees that are there are always working so it has nothing to do with them.
Also, this story is disgustingly dirty. I'm surprised the Health Department has cited you for the filthy condition of the floors.
While I'm at it, your customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I was waiting on the phone for at least 20 mins. before I hung up.
I had a accident
I had a bad accodent in the Montebello, Ca Dollar tree atore, a big hard box filled with several coling book fell on me and it was on a shelf about 7-8 feet high and I got injured and was bleeding. The Manager Maria dis nothong but offer a band aid and seem to not care at all I was bleeding bad and sid nit even offer anything like medical attention and did nit offer to fill out a Claim until I called her 20 minutes later. She sid not care at all. I have serius cuts and their getting infected and i might have a scar. I have been asking the manager Maria to have the District Manager call me but I dont think she's relating the Message.
That is their company policy. They are not allowed to to do anything but offer a band aid, and stay quiet. If they do anything else, they will be fired for putting the company at risk of a lawsuit.

The delivery truck for the Redford Michigan store on Six mile road, when leaving from the alley from behind the store and turning wide right and heading south on Norborne st drove over the curb on the side of my building leaving a 35 foot long and a very deep, deep, deep trench in our well maintained grass area between the sidewalk and curb. Do you have dash cameras that you can verify it. I just missed the incident as when I pulled up before 11:00 am today Friday July 13th, 2018. In talking to one of the store workers the truck had left around 9:00 am. I have photos but you system says the file size is to big and can send you them at a later time.
offensive and demeaning remark made by an employee to customer

When I was checking out at Dollar Tree today, I paid with my debit card and I hit the yes button for cash back instead of the no button. I told the cashier that I was sorry and she said it was ok and that she would fix it. An employee was standing by my check-out line when she made a negative, offensive and demeaning remark to the cashier about me as if I was invisible standing there next to her. The employee said, "They never read" and left. I said to the cashier that what the employee said about me should not have been said to a customer. I also said to the cashier that I work with the public also and I would never make any remark as was made to me. I asked for the employee's name and to my surprise, it was the Manager at Dollar Tree. I'm a regular customer that goes to the Dollar Tree on East Michigan an Orange Ave In Orlando Fl where their are managers that are very rude to customers start arguments with customer it's a Manager there she goes by Nikki she really is nasty towards people she became manager after 4days of being cashier at the store I'm pretty sure you suppose to go through training for the position I felt like she need to be fired for insubordination, I mean I went to the store on the 4th of July and the store was closed at 9:30 pm I think something needs to be done about this matter immediately.

When i went in to the store everything was fine but when i got to the register the lady who was there gave me attitude and was disrespectful. MY friend ask her for a bag after he said she didn't need one and was like that's why i ask you did you need one you said no, and then i responded and said no he actually change his mind. Long story short about the situation she was going back and forth arguing over something she was wrong about and then got rude with it while there were a bunch of other customers also in the lobby. She was rushing me from the register telling me to calm down and just basically not showering customers service at all. Her name is Lauren. Then i called the store for management and the manager was sarcastic with me. I ask was it the manager i was speaking with and she said rudely isn't that who you asked for? This was around 8pm on July 12, 2018 if I'm not mistaken she said her name was sharlene. But the manager on duty is whoever was there around 8pm that night. The employee and the manager really need to get fired or some well talking to because that was just terrible service last night.

A couple weeks ago I walked into the store on Thousand Oaks and it was so hot in that store it look like the workers are going to pass out and I started feeling dizzy just being in there 2 minutes so I called y'all made a complaint still nothing has happened I called back today to see if y'all got the complaint the lady when she answers the phone says that's none of her and my business all she does is answer phone calls and then hangs up the phone on me what kind of people do you have working for you answering the phones and she cannot talk to a person right she shouldn't be answering your phones about people complaining about something that was so rude and you know what my brother works for OSHA so I will be calling him and telling him to go to that damn store so hopefully you fix it and have a good f****** day. massive product in isles
I moved back to North Platte Nebraska from Wisconsin in April. I went to the Dollar Tree to buy my cleaning products needless to say I was shocked by the number of boxes lining the isles. I went back three times to get foam plates, plastic storage bags and the shelves were 90% empty. Today I went back to get toilet bowel cleaner and I took a box off the cart and opened it myself to get two containers out. This store is a disgrace to North Platte Nebraska it is dirty and not stocked at all. I think a surprise visit is in order and foe gosh sake hire some people. I see the manager in the office all the time she should be stocking. You could move a lot of product if the product was on the shelf.

I went into work today as it was on the schedule for me to work today 7/12/18. My unprofessional tells me to clock out, that im fired because I was a no call no show yesterday. I was not scheduled for yesterday 7/11/18. As im trying to explain to her that im wasn't scheduled for yesterday she starts yelling and me and says " IF YOU WOULD SHUT THE F**K UP AND LISTEN!" Like how unprofessional is that. Im trying my best to have something done about this. Its wrong and very unprofessional, and I have proof that I was not on the schedule for the day before. I go into the store in okc near Reno and MacArthur all the time and I have been trying to find these lavender pots and I went each week for 3 weeks and they didn't have them. They kept telling me that they are probably just not unboxed and on the shelf yet. Well, 3 weeks is a long time to not do your job. These boxes are above my head now and it looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen. I just want to bring this to someone's attention before this company gets sued. These boxes could fall on someone at any moment. This is absolutely ridiculous and not only that but the shelves are getting empty. I ended up going to another store to get the flowers but I would like some kind of confirmation that this issue will be resolved and please look at pictures. This is a serious safety issue

I was at my local dollar tree today at about 12:30p.m. The cashier's name was Shirleen. I WAS AT THE DOLLAR TREE ON 21ST AND GRANT IN GARY INDIANA. I HAD TWO SEPARATE PURCHASES. When I handed the cashier the money... She didn't give me my change back! She handed to another customer because that customers hand was out... As my self my mother and my aunt proceeded to the front door I told my mom that the cashier was being very rude by not handing me back my change... The cashier over heard what I said to my mother and chose to stop me from exiting the store to tell me... And her exact words were "Look here she had her hand out too... My response to her was it's very rude to hand someone else my change when they didn't hand you the money... The cashier's attitude is very unacceptable.. after a few minutes of loud talk in the store the manager came from the office stood by the office door and chose NOT TO SAY ANYTHING to the cashier... I have never been treated to rudely and poorly before by a customer service rep or a cashier... I am not to happy as a customer about the way I was treated at that dollar tree

Every time I go into Dollar Tree in Hillsboro Texas the manager Brenda is rude to customers when she first came to Dollar Tree the lines will be long she will not cashier she informs everyone she's the manager and she doesn't have to she tells the staff to put the boxes on the floor and then she yells at the Angie for doing so a few weeks back I was in the store she told an employee to leave Freight on the floor and Angie could do it when she gets back from vacation I frequent this store 3-4 days a week I'm really disappointed in the way Brenda handles herself and the employees she is rude and very disrespectful it's Brenda is always talking bad about Angie to an employee name Nono it seems the manager is trying to get Angie fired I've seen Angie she works so hard she is so sweet polite and helpful she's always smiling upbeat and has a great attitude along with Crystal Kathy these girls work are always helpful and polite to the customers this is what Dollar Tree should be

I enjoy your Warsaw Missouri Follar tree but have had it difficult dealing with an employee "Cassie " who is lacking the ability to be friendly and to go the extra mile. I have come twice to the store recently when she was working and first time I was looking for "plushed " stuffed animals for my nursing no home ministry. This is about the manager at the Dollar Tree in Hackettstown NJ her name is miss Q. I do not know her personally but been at her store a lot and do my shopping every time I go there I see her on her personal cell phone gaping away with whom ever who knows who. To tell you the truth I thought a few times she was speaking to me but I looked again and she was on her cell phone very unprofessional if you ask me. I do not think she has any business on her personal phone during work hour's. I have also been there when she has had her other half with her that I heard is a big not to do having your man in the store and it has happened on more then one occasion. The store is always a mess like a cyclone hit it it's terrible. the worker's are ok what I hate about that dollar Tree is they always only have 1 cashier it's not right that store should always have 2 at all times not just one that store even though it's always a mess it is always busy day or night. That's why they should stop being cheap and have 2 cashier's on at all time so the other people can do other thing's what they need is people out on that floor cleaning up the place and organizing the Shelfs and Vacuming the place it's a total mess.
The costumer bathroom in that place is a joke they can't even find the key half the time it's either in the door or totally gone all together. It is also dirty a lot of the time I get scared to use it I rather wait till I get home. Dusty Braun lets her husband stock and do truck, (he isn't a employee). Dusty is letting Ericka Dowell a cashier to eat and drink anything without paying. Dusty Braun is discriminatory towar, d people. Dusty and Cassandra is letting Rebecca Bates sleep in the stock room and live in the parking lot, Dusty will also damage food out so Rebecca can eat. Rebecca was at the premises in her uniform intoxicated and had the local police called on her. Dusty has made inappropriate phone calls while on the clock and at work.

I walked into the dollar tree on 7/8/18 and was shocked at the condition of the store. The floor was filthy, most items were laying in aisles. It looked like a tornado whipped through. I refused to shop there. As I left, the one visible employee was just standing by the register. He didn't have a customer. I wish I took pictures of the mess. It was disgusting.

I was at the Glenville dollar tree on route 50! So as I was coming through an isle and there was hardly and room to get by. I asked him as I seen his name plate ("Mykal" store manager) this happened last week. Sorry I am old and the comment after was very rude. So Dollar Tree Store #1109 has been working with my college classes and I usually have Monday and Wednesday for sure. So my manager calls me and says that I am working the 5th 6th and 7th, nothing about the 4th of July. I thought that I finally had a holiday off. So when the tech at the hospital asked if I could come down on the 4th to the hospital I said yes and we agreed on a time (3pm). When I went in I saw that she had me scheduled from 1-6. I told her about my meeting with the tech at 3, and asked if I could work days, I was only on for stock. I told her that I really didn't want to work days because by the time I punch out is 1:45 and I needed time to go home and shower, and get to my appt which was an hour away. I heard her say that she would take me off if I din't care about the hours. I said go ahead and take me off, not realizing that it was wednesday and that was supposed to be my regular day off. I was under the impression that she was taking me off, so I went home and was off the next 2 day, and my manager never called to say I was working, last she said was that if I didn't care about the hours then i could be off. When I arrived Thursday to work the close shift I was surprised to see another employee there working with me, it rarely happens that 2 people work the same shift. Anyways I punched in ando my nightly proceeded to duties. I emptied the garbages and got rid of it then started putting away freight. Lorinda Hill (STORE MANAGER) yells "Put that box down and get in the office now" I was thinking that what did I do wrong? I am able to get out 30-50 boxes of freight, while working the register, it depends on how busy we are. I go into the office, and it was me, Lorinda Hill (STORE MANAGER 1109), Gayle Weiss (ASST MANAGER) First she started screaming at me, and you can hear everything from the office so I know that the customers heard. She was grabbing her name tag and yelling "I AM THE MANAGER, NOT YOU! DO YOU SEE MY NAME TAG IT SAYS MANAGER ON IT. AND YOU DO'T MAKE THE DAYS THAT YOU WORK"! She was refering to the 4th of July which was on a Wednesday and I had not only had to meet the tech, and do homework for my online college class. All the while she was screaming I remained calm and didnt say anything. Then she says I have your write up and Termination paper. I was so mad because in 13 months I had never been written up, and I get my first one and they fire me. I opened the door and walked out, punched out and left. I have more complaints about the managers, they need to be fired and get new ones.
