I just encountered a very rude Cashier at your store. No customer service courtesy whatsoever. She was very snippy and impolite towards me. She held up the line to blow up some balloons. Then I grabbed something that I believed to be a divider for the groceries and she rudely told me to give it back. Interesting to me that I was the only black person I. Line and I was the only one she was being rude to. She seemed to be nice to everyone else. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. There was absolutely no need for her rudeness, unprofessionlism or to speak to me in that way.
opening hours
It's 12:26 pm, and the sign on the door says the store should have BEEN open by now. I've sat here and watched 7 different people try to go in and shop, but have to turn around because no one is there. Cars are still pulling up left and right and there are no employees around. One employee pulled up, realized the door was locked, and left. This "business" is ridiculous. There are eight cars now waiting for the doors to be unlocked.

I would like to start off by saying that I visit you store about 2-3 times a week and I never want to enter Dollar Tree ever again.
Today 07/07/2018 I went to my regular run to Dollar Tree located at 2641 E Tremont Ave Bronx, NY 10461 Westchester Square. Not even 5 mins in the store I hear over the intercom, owner of a silver focus please come to the front of the store. Of course I immediately go to the front of the store and the towing company that was there told me that my car had be towed. I ask why and immediately was told that the manager requested my car to be towed because I was blocking someone in. First of all I was not blocking anyone in then he tells me that I was parked in a fire zone. The towing company requested $200 dollars to get my car back. I immediately go to the Manager on duty and asked why did he tell them to tow my car when he could had just called on the intercom and told me to move my car or it will be towed instead of calling me on it when it was already towed. Now his story was different from the tow guy. He stated that he told them to tow it because people are always getting side swiped and they want to sue the story. I explained I've been coming there for years and there are always cars parked there with not issue. I go back outside the tow company is now telling me if I don't come up with the money within the next 20mins my car is going to be taken to a storage yard in Queens and I would have to go pick it up, mind you the store is in the bronx why would they tell me they going to take my car to Queens. They stated that they only take cash not credit cards, by this time i'm having a anxiety attack, I had to call someone to bring me $200.00 to get my car back and they refused to give me a receipt telling me that it will come in the mail. I just feel that the Store Manager and the Towing Company are getting innocent people for there money. One employee saw me so upset she told me that the towing company gives him a percentage of the money they get for towing cars its a scam they got going on in that Store an I hope that you will investigate and see if there was a Ford Focus Towed on 0707/2018 around 4:30-5:30 p.m. and the reason cause I have to work alot of hours to make $200.00 and it seems very unfair that it would cost someone that much to get a car towed from a Dollar Tree parking lot

green dot card
On 7/7/18 at 12:48 pm my minor son attempted to purchase a Green Dot Card. The Store informed him that he had to be 18 years old to purchase the card. With the manager awareness he let an unknown unrelated in store customer purchase the card still for a minor child. The unknown female shopper gave my son the card and receipt of his purchased and the amount loaded on the card. Once my son arrived at home we realized that the last 4 digits of the card and the receipt was different. We immediately reached out to store manager Charlie. He was so rude and very unprofessional. I told him that it was unacceptable and that I was going to report him. I believe because my child was a minor he purposely input the numbers wrong so he could steal the $20 from him. The store manager called the authorities out. I showed the officer proof of what I was saying he stated it's a civil matter. Gave me a hotline number and stated to report the manager! I'm reaching out for the district manager of Store # 5242 at the location 2034 Metropolitan Pkwy. Atlanta, Georgia 30315.

On Saturday, July 7th at approximately 8:30am I was at the checkout waiting to be helped at the Dollar Tree on Balboa . There was a female employee against the far wall stocking while on her cell phone. After waiting for a few minutes O got her attention where she finally started to the register still on the phone. She scanned my purchases and completed my transactions while still talking on the phone about how hot it was to go to a Dodger game etc. At the end of my transactions before I walked out O made a comment that it wasn't right for her to help customer's while on her cell phone. She said that it was business which it sure didn't sound as the her conversation was not quite or sounded professional? I worked as a retail manager for years and believe in respect and customer service. I hope this type of behavior is addressed unless thus is a recommended practice for Dollar Tree?
piss poor management
My daughter has had the same recurring payroll issue with this company and the management and GM for their Las Vegas location store number 06244 do not do anything to correct the issue. They spend more time on their cell phones texting other non-management employees that are inside the same store. There is no confidentiality between supervisor and cohorts. This is highly illegal. I have also witnessed an employee being assaulted by 2 customers while the manager did nothing to help. A male customer stopped the incident while the manager stood there recording it on her cell phone and not calling the police to help him. These customers went as far as getting a hacksaw out the aisle to attempt cut the employee. There needs to be a representative from Corporate to come and investigate this store and really ask the customers and employees what is going on. I just find it really sad that the CEO would go on undercover boss and act like there were going to be some changes in this corporation and I see nothing but locations that are filthy, cash registers don't work, managers who lack managerial skills and the lack of employee safety. I guess it will take a employee being murdered for you to worry about employee safety. As far as the payroll issue goes. There needs to be a better way to fix your payroll issues locally or a phone number where someone can actually be reached. Lastly, I don't understand why they feel the need to harrass the younger workers when they question why they haven't gotten paid.

Hi I'm making a complaint today as a potential employee for your Newport, TN branch of Dollar Tree. I was asked to come into an interview with the Assistant Manager on July the 6th, 2018. While conducting the interview she made many remarks about hating hiring men and they "Weren't worth a damn" to hire in the first place. The topic of the distribution center came up and she said many times that the D.C. was a hell hole jam packed of "Mexicans" and that they would "Eat freight that was to be shipped" causing her issues. She used profanity through the entire interviewing process and would constantly bad mouth the store manager. I no longer wish to seek employment from your company and will warn family and friends who wish to shop there not to until you can prove otherwise that your management crew isn't full of SEXIST and RACIST BIGOTS.

I went in there a few days ago and was horrified by the trash, garbage and dirt in the aisles. Food on the floor. A true disgrace. Items were knocked off the shelves and just laying on the floor. The manager fail to hear the customers concern regarding the poor service of her store in our community. Something needs to be done, Call health department for inspection or Corporate needs to visit store, close it, or chande management.

On 07/05/18 i put a complaint on a dollar tree employee from store# 5345 the employees name is Savannah. Today is july 7 2018 and i still have not got any response from dollar tree. It seems like dollar tree doesn't have any means of solving my issue maybe you guys are short staffed at your corporate headquarters the same way your short staffed at all the stores.

I am currently working with Operation Homefront to provide school supplies to our military families through Dollar Tree. I contacted the store location (Emmett, ID) I volunteered to pick up supplies from and while I tried to coordinate when would be best to schedule pick-ups the employee that answered the phone asked me what I was calling for and in the middle of me explaining I was apparently transferred to another employee unknowingly. When she picked up the line I was greeted with "who is this?" And when I began to explain who I'm with and why I'm calling I was cut off and told, "I need to know who you are because that's not information I can just give out." When I asked the name of the person I would need to contact in the future for picking up the supplies (assuming it to be the manager of the branch) she continued to be rude and short with me and as I thanked her for her time she just hung up without a word. I understand some information shouldn't be openly shared I do not think asking for a point of contact for the store is asking too much as well as the fact that I will be the person driving to the store to pick up these supplies. We are beyond greatful for Dollar Tree participating in helping our families but I am extremely disappointed that I was greeted with such rudeness. We ask our military members to volunteer their time and gas to pick these supplies up and I am not comfortable knowing that in the future we may be sending someone to a location where they will be treated with disrespect. On 6/26 Placed an order and received an email stating my "order was under review" on 6/27 i received another email stating my order is getting processed, on 7/5 I check in on the order and it stated the order was selected randomly to be reviewed by a manager and was cancelled without a reason. I asked for the supervisor as it is not an acceptable answer (Kristine 194497). I explained that I purchased this order while a shipping promotion was for 4.99 and i would like to reorder and receive the same shipping price, (originally shipping is $28) as my order was canceled with no apparent reason. She said that she cannot ship it at that price and that she could not help me at all. I asked to be provided for the reason for the cancellation, she would not provide, but will replace the order and i will just have to pay full shipping. I am thinking the shipping promo was just to get personal information into the system and cancel right away, to either get people into their stores or get more money out of people. Anyways, I asked for Kristine to let me speak with her manager but she said that her manager was not in today and that she will take my information down but most likely I will not hear back from them again. I am extremely offended by the customer service that I received today. I have never in my life been disrespected by an agent like I was today. How can an order be canceled without valid reason, just due to managers discretion? i was buying feathered butterflies. Weird and unacceptable.

This is not a complaint but a compliment. I'm a regular shopper at the Mt.view store and never had I been greeted or helped the way I was a few days ago. The employee name badge said Laura, she was very helpful had a smile from ear to ear and she made me feel welcomed. I was pretty impressed that not only was she at the register but stocking the store and helping other customers as well. As a customer is like to say thank you for hiring this kind of employee please relay my gratitude.

I don't think it's really fair that there's only Hispanic ppl working in the one in 29 palms Cali and they don't hire any other race I've never seen any other race in there to be honest. The manager is Hispanic so she only hires her kind she can barley speak English. Cmon. I've applied and so have a few other ppl I know can you guys please have them get it together and be an eoe. On July 3, I took my wife and daughter to dollar tree here in our town. My daughter had a little more then $3 dollars in change and my wife had about the same. My wife and daughter were ready to pay and my wife decided to pay all at the same time, the cashier said to my wife that she can't except all that change unless its in rolls, I asked the cashier if there not enough to fill the rolls does that mean she can't buy anything, the cashier just said the next time she won't except it unless its in rolls and if don't like it I can go to family dollar or dollar general.. Now I have been a customer of dollar tree for as long as I can remember, and never had any one at any dollar tree give such an attitude over someone paying with lose change. I can understand if it was twenty dollars or more but it was four dollars in change. I enjoy dollar tree, I spend more money here then I do at any other store in town, but if that's the attitude that loyal customers receive then maybe dollar general or family dollar will be a better place to spend my money. I just hope that the next time I go that this young lady's attitude is different at store #6452..111 Belmont ave, mendota, ca. 93640.

This is about the Manager Michelle at the dollar tree in akron ohio on waterloo rd. I do not know her personally but for some reason she assumes very negative things about me. This is my favorite store and i shop there st least two, three times a week. But to feel unwelcomed and disrespected has made me try to contact someone over her head. She has told many workers there, WHO HAVE TOLD ME PERSONALLY. That she has said to them, To watch me because she is sure I'm stealing. When I don't steal, I don't have a criminal record and every time I come in there, I buy a great amount of things by credit, debit or cash. I feel so be littled because of her actions, and false opinions of me. Now other employees view me as a theft or possibly someone who steals based off of he say, she say, assumptions. To assume someone is stealing without TRULY knowing is basically accusing someone of false Doing. I started to hire and attorney but I felt something so major as to damage someones character was Extremely major, that contacting corporate would be the first step. I work TWO DAMN JOBS, TWO. AND I WILL NOT TOLERATE DISCRIMINATION AND IGNORANCE. IM HOPING THIS MATTER CAN BE HANDLED. ITS UNFORTUNATE THAT RACE, BIG NAME BRAND PURSES AND CONSISTENTLY SHOPPING AT A STORE MAKES SOMEONE ASSUME U ARE STEALING. THATS SAD. I was shopping at the store in Clawson, MI on 14 mile road on 7-3-18 at approximately noon. I had a cart full of items ready to purchase when my 7 year old asked to use the bathroom. I have seen other customers get access to the restroom there before so I asked the cashier if my child could please use the bathroom and she said "no". I clarified that we are making purchases and asked again if my child could please use the bathroom since we are paying customers. She replied "no". She was so rude and ridiculous. I left my items immediately and took my child home. I shop there quite often but will not return. I am familiar with Michigan laws surrounding public restroom access and I realize that it's not mandatory to allow such access whether the customer/guest is paying or not. However it's disturbing and absurd and seemingly discriminatory since I have seen other customers allowed to use it. It may be just as well that my child didn't use the bathroom there since the store is often dirty and in disarray most of the time. I can't imagine how gross the bathroom is.

My manager Carmen always makes me work out side of my schedule. She have me stay 3 hours or more past my clock out time and she never asked me if I am willing to stay. She always calls me and say I have to come in to work at different time from what my schedule say. She tells me my schedule will not change and will remain the same than calls me and ask why I did not call for a new schedule. She tells me to call on sundays for my new schedule than tells me I am suppose to call on Fridays for my schedule. She does not even let me have a brake during the shift a few times and I have to take it upon me to have a brake and she gets angry and tells me I have more work to do and have to stay longer. She does not make a copy of the schedule for nor let me make a copy of the schedule. She tells me she will text it to me and she dont which lead me to have to call my boss. I told Carmen during the second week that if she keeps on contradicting tge schedule I will make a complaint to HR, she continue to not listen and tells me the store will still be open with out me around. Futher more I had waited with Mataio and Emmanuel Rodriguez since 12am and Carmen came to work drunk and lied about messaging us to be there at 2am, nor did she call. Emmanuel Rodriguez said this is not the first time these issues occured with the schedule. Carmen never even place my hours into compass for me to get paid which I had to call my Boss and inform him that I was missing hours from my check.

The store manager is lazy doesn't care is not physically fit to do the job treats other managers and employees horribly gives all the hours to favorite employees that go to her church give other employees who have been there since the store is open no hours expects them to live off of 12 hours a week not have a second job and always be available whenever she calls does not let employees get doctor's appointment days off when it needed only cares about the employees that goes to her church.

I visited the dollar tree at 2103 kirkwood hwy. Wilmington, de [protected]; store # 5524 on sunday, 7/1/18 around 10:50 am. The staff member i'm complaining about did not have a name tag on but she is the only african american woman with a very short blonde boyish like hair cut.
A different cashier was ringing customers up and her line had about 3 people in it. Me being the 3rd person, I noticed the rude employee turned on her light. We made eye contact and I asked her is she open. She rudely told me, that I was already in line so stay where I was at. (I was the next & last customer in line, at that time). That made me very upset that she could be so rude & verbally aggressive over me, just asking her is she open. She is very unprofessional & unapprocahable which, made me very uncomfortable. Please hire people that want to work.
