wrong information in credit bureau report
I do not have Loans or Credit Cards under Dubai First. Now when I requested a Credit Report, Dubai First came out and shows that I have a 50, 000AED Credit Card Since October of 2015. How did this happen? Because of this I can not apply for a top Loan to other bank. Please update the report and remove from my Credit Report. Base on the report, it was never active but how come it was included in the report.

The customer service is giving wrong information and I think they are not knowlegeable enough to do their job. They are just like answering phone calls and after that they will left your complain hanging, every month that we received our bill there's additional fees that are not informed to us, we are calling cs to cancel insurance fee that they never told us from the start. They just said that they will remove it in the next bill, so we are just waiting for the next bill and found out that they did not remove it as they promised, so we will call again and again and again from november 2017 up to this month we are paying that fees and still complaining that, all customer service representative that we talked are saying the same, and for this month we called almost everyday to update the status of the cancellation, they said after 3 days they will give us update thru sms or email, after 3days we callled them for update, the cs told us again after 3days haha really? 3days again? From november to april 2018 wtf! And just this day we received a call from dubai first saying that we cant remove it unless we will pay the remaining 3months, so that's it! Therefore, we cancel or not we will still pay the same! Every month they said they can remove it, then after how many months the ending is we dont have any choice? Cs be knowleagable enough! If we know that we don't have any choice we will not waste our time and effort calling you! And one more thing, before we got the card we asked if there are additional fees monthly, they said no, we will just pay what we purchased. No fees, only hidden charges!
liability letter
Since last 2 weeks I have requested for a liability letter and they said I will get a call after 3 days. after which my due date comes and they issued me to pay the overdue in order to get the liability letter.
They have waited for too long in order to reach the next payment date in order for them to charge interest and they will call you to settle the overdue in order for you to get the said letter.

clearance letter issuance
Dear Sir/ Mam,
I would like to complaint about the issuance of the clearance letter. Emirates Islamic buy-out the credit card and we were informed from the branch that it will only take 7 to 10 working days to get the clearance letter, the cheque has been given 28th of March, we called the customer service 31st of March to inquire when can I possibly get the clearance letter but we were informed that only after 35 days. I spoke to one of the agent we know and she told that it will only take 15 days since it is a buy-out. I am so confused and dissapointed as we need the clearance letter at the soonest for us to apply for another financial facility in another bank. As of this writing, the cheque has been cleared. Could you please expedite our request.

This is Naga Prathap Cheni, am taken credit card (Dubai Parks and Resorts card) from Dubai First 2017. When am taken this card is free for life. Even am ex employee of Dubai First. Employee ID : IN32136, I settled the old payments when I resigned the job in the month of August.
Even they are sending again over due amount of AED.579.17/-. I need a clear clarification regarding this due amount. After resigned and settled I did't use the card till now.
After I got this due amount mails, I sent the mail to Mr. Maysa Mohamed regarding this incident but am not get any replay from them.

I have been a customer for Dubai First Bank credit card for last year and had no payment issues on my card. As i was into business and had some financial debts, my payment didn't happen for December and January. I had to talk to multiple Dubai First Collection executive (Ethne & Jisha) and they treated me very arrogantly through phone even after i mentioned that I am ready to pay off the entire amount on a monthly basis in a settlement mode. I was really upset on their behavior as they didn't show the courtesy to listen to my situation and literally threatened as well. After that I have a created a complaint with Dubai First toll free directly for the particular concern with the collections department. [Complaint Number: 171904]
Then I had received a call from Dubai First whose name was Maysa and had a healthy conversation where she mentioned she would provide a proper settlement plan to close the issue. As per her commitment i have paid the amount to the card and provided the documents requested except for the Offer Letter which i have agreed to provide once I receive it from my HR after their internal procedure. These are all recorded through my mails. One fine day I receive a mail from Jisha stating if I don't pay before 3:00pm then the settlement plan would be cancelled. The same moment I have mailed Maysa and informed her to instruct Jisha not to mail me again and i would communicate only with Maysa. Then I received the Offer Letter from our HR and when I called Maysa she didn't pick and i had to contact Ethne for my credit card issue since Maysa was not picking my calls and replying my mails for many days and i was disappointed to know that my settlement plan has no validity any more where i had all the conversation with Maysa. After the payment Maysa has never responded to calls and mails [Find the attached mails].
Then I had to raise a complaint for the information provided which were not valid at all and as a customer I feel the information provided was not at all valid committed information and they don't want to provide a further more settlement plan as well.
As a proper customer, being genuine and requesting for a settlement, is the mistake I have done?

I applied for a credit card from Dubai first with the hope of not receiving it as I did not submit all documents. low and behold i received a card with a hefty credit limit. i tried cancelling it but due to scripted and all knowing agents nothing was been done. due to the ever changing financial burden I've used the card, unfortunate events struck and I faltered on my payments, got offered a dept settlement, got canceled more harassment followed other offered other canceled as it seems agents do it to pick up commission on accounts.
Please don't take it want to rant but rather I want to expose the unscrupulous unethical dealings of the agents, why as it seems its an organised scheme of agents working with others to obtain your information which is firstly illegal, then obtaining statements and salary letters from said friends and passing it as if handed by yourself to them. I can proof that my salary certificate was taken from Mashreq bank which was issued to them and handed with the application to Dubai first which constitutes fraud. So how many others were duped in the same way.

I had applied for Dubai First credit card clearance letter on 10/02/2018. They told that will take 2 weeks to get it ready and will receive a call and sent soft copy through mail and hard copy can collect from office. I didn't receive anything even after 3 weeks . Then I have sent a mail regarding this and I got reply asking my credit card number and other details. I have given all details.After that I didn't any response from them. Then I called customer service on 17/02/2018 and asked about this. They told that they already sent softcopy on 11/02/2018 itself. I told them that I didn't receive any mail. Also they told that will update in the system to send again. Next day 18/02/2018 I went directly to office.
I have seen many people came there for different purposes, but all are complainting about their services.
When I was waiting for my turn there a was guy who came long back before me was shouting. Because he was waiting hours and getting no response. Then one lady staff came from somewhere and told me "Don't Shout" . I told her I didn't shout. She told I was shouting. I asked her that did you see that I was shouting. She told that he heard. I asked her that there are many people sitting here and how can you recognize my voice. And also came after them, then why should I shout. I am not a fool to do that.And I asked her to check CCTV footage . She understood that I didn't shout. But she was not ready to accept that.In order to put this in to shoulder she pushed me 2-3 times that I had push her.
Everything is there on CCTV footage. But they are not ready to check that.
These peoples are not professional. They are treating customers not like humans.

unethical and threatening sms from recovery

I have a credit card with Dubai First, there are some payments due on the card, for the last 1 year or more i have been paying around 1500 to 1700 dirhams, now due to some financial issues i was not able to pay the amount as minimum payment, this issue is being addressed by the collection team and i am in contact with them.
Today morning i received an SMS from the recovery team stating that they are not able to contact me, this is a lie, i had a conversation with one of the team member who called me from number [protected], so i don't know how come they are mentioning that i am not traceable, further more, the SMS is also mentioning that they will send people from their associates in my home country to my house, which i don't understand why. this act i am considering as a direct threat, to harm my family members.
I don't think that the bank will go to an extent and send such threatening SMS messages to their clients.

I requested to remove all insurance on my card, the lady said its compulsory and reactivated on my card.
but today i called customer care and they are saying it can be removed but amount charged on my card for insurance cannot be reversed and you guys charged me DHS 40 for insurance (unnecessary)
dont you think its fraud by your team to misrepresent the things.
also your sales representative told me cash loan will be available at 0%, all fake things he said.
would suggest kindly guide your team how to represent and i will never ever suggest anyone to use your card

I requested to close my credit card [protected] in December 2017, and I got a 10 months instalments of 1, 918. I paid December 2018, January 2018.
I did not pay the instalment of Feb 2018 and despite my numerous emails requesting someone to call me. A lady called me today so impolite and very rude threatening me to hand up the phone and shouting at me and all this because I asked what was the due amount cause the amount that I know about which 1918 is different than the amount she is talking about and when I called the customer service to confirm the amount with them cause my online banking is BLOCKED the lady said I can not confirm anything you need to speak to the collection department which is the same lady I just had an argument with.
Is that logic not to have an online bank that I check what I have paid and what is due and the customer service that can not confirm or help me with anything and I am obliged to talk to someone who is impolite and doesnt know how to speak to people.
P.S I never had any problems paying or any delay in paying except Feb 2018 which last month and still I kept sending emails to them.
I was harassed by an agent
I was getting harass by one of your credit card agent. I submitted my documents and sign some paper I told her that I cant accomodate the request because it was during working hours. I told her if I cant submit the other documents on time I would like to cancel my application. Afterwards she threats me to use my documents like the blank cheque that ive sign and other ids that ive submitted.

Hi,
I had requested for credit card cash loan of AED 3000 for period of 6M with 0%interest somewhere in Jan last week. So that AED 500 pm I have to pay with one time processing charge.
I received message on 31st Jan that insta cash request approved for 3M. Soon i gave call back to customer care about this to either cancel or change as per my request.
As AED 1000 pm shall disturb my monthly budget.
After that I received 3-4 calls since then & I had explained them same thing again & again that its the mistake from your end. And even after informing you about the issue money was deposited & now trying to convince me to accept as it is. I was clear from day 1 that this is not possible for me at this situation.
Today again I got call by customer care mentioning that their is no such plan for 0% intrest for 3M in system. So it was mistake from our side as they informed 6M with0% but in system it accepted as 3M. So kindly accept. This info was shared first time to me.
So i got fumed up & still they expect I should be patient & polite to them while speaking. You do mistake & instead of solving issue on top priority you expect we must listen to your nonsense explanation.
Now my question is still same. Why I should accept after 1Month of flexible follow up from your office. You get back to me based on your convenience & way of work.
Either I shall opt for same plan or not at all pay any payment hereafter to my credit card.

I was approached by one of your agent in my working place for a credit card promotion from your bank. I agreed to get one from your bank dated october 2017. She came to me twice and asked for my details and i willingly send to her emails everything that she needs and i also signed everything. She told me i will receive it after few weeks but until now i did not receive anything or any phonecall from your bank. I trusted your agent and got nothing from her as well as from your bank. I send her an email but no reply at all.

I used to be an employee of Dubai First, before i resigned in Sept 2017, i was asked to pay the full amount of credit card for them to cancel my visa. I was able to pay off my account with over payment of 120aed (not exact amount). And since i left the company they blocked my card so i wont be able to use it. After 4 months i was surprised when i checked my dubai first mobile application i saw that there was a charge of 400aed annual fee and 20aed vat for the annual fee! I called the contact center and i was told that they will help me regarding the said matter, they forwarded my complain to the concern department and after 3 working days i have receive a call from them stating that they will asjust the charged annual fee, ofcourse i know what kind of service they have i have felt unconfident and i opened my mobile app again and check if itvwas waived. Again and again as what i have thought ITVWAS NOT ADJUSTED! I called them back and i talked to one of the filipino agent and he told me that my request of waiving the fee was rejected by the collections department. I was so angry and told them that how can i be charged of the credit card that was given to me for free charge and after they blocked the card how come they will still charge me for annual fee. And it was very funny when they tolf me to go to the branch to settle my account and close it properly with a closure fee! DUBAI FIRST IS THE WORST FINANCIAL INSTITUTION ACROSS UAE! I am also a customer and a good payer but seriously they are killing people slowly! Please let me know how can i complain thus and to whom i can go to make proper complain because i know for sure they wont give any attention to this.

I am writing to dispute a fraudulent charge on my account for the amount of AED 4472 with Dubai First Credit card.
I have a credit card with Dubai First which I never activated. My credit card number is [protected]. Recently, I received my credit card bill dated 05 November 2017, the bill was amounted to AED 4472.
As I mentioned, I have never activated the card and therefore the charges have been forged on me,
My card is free from any annual subscription fees or similar chargers. It operates for free. I was informed by your bank that the charge was levied for an insurance plan. But I never requested for one. Your bank provided me a service that I never asked for. As a matter of fact, it was forced upon me and I was never even informed. I have discussed this matter very clearly with the bank authorities. They refused to give me any proof of receiving my consent to activate any kind of services, clearly because they don't have any.
I would also like to bring to your notice that I was not informed about any police case filed against me. During my current visit to UAE on 25th November 2017, I was detained at the airport by the authorities and was taken to jail and released after a day. I was humiliated and tortured in the name of a fraudulent case charged against me.
I visited the Burdubai office of Dubai First Bank several times and repeatedly informed about the fraudulent charges but the bank authorities were rude and they misbehaved with me. The officials were never ready to even listen to my case or concern.
During my visit on 05 November, 2017 to the bank I was asked to pay AED 2500 by Mr. Unni Krishnan (Mob: +971-[protected]) to clear the fraudulent police case and the related charges. I tried my best to convince them about the forgery of my cheque but they refused to listen and asked me to make the payment without even conducting a formal inquiry about the fraudulent case in which I was being framed.
In my visit on 11 January, 2018 I was once again forced to pay some amount and this time it was AED 1025. I tried to communicate the reality but once again my effort was wasted.
When I was in India, a representative of your business, Mr. Rajiv (Mob: +91-[protected]) rang me up several times on different dates and I was informed that I owed a debt and if I did not repay immediately, my possessions would be seized and I would be taken to jail. Your representative asked my family and relatives for personal details about me including my home address and phone number. I was humiliated and this harmed my reputation. I dispute owing the debt. There is no court judgment against me that would allow my possessions to be seized. This breaches the UAE Consumer and Competition Commission, and the UAE Securities and Investments Commission's Debt Collection Guideline.
I am a victim of tele-sales fraudulent and theft. I did not make any payment from your card. In fact, I have not even activated your card. I am requesting for the charges to be removed, that any finance and other charges related to the fraudulent amount be waived off, and that I be given a clearance certificate from your bank. I hope you get a clear picture about the issue in hand and would provide your complete support in resolving this issue. Any letters or calls further received with respect to the mentioned would mean that you are deliberately attempting to harass and loot me, therefore forcing me to present my attorney.

I have been using Dubai First Credit Card for 2 months and I am already suffering from their poor service and lack of customer importance. I have been following up with a credit card payment issue but the company does not respond to any of my emails or complaints. I have sent atleast 10 emails and made 10-15 calls to their Customer service but the only response I get is that they are investigating the matter.
I have made a complete payment of my credit card, however the payment is missing. I have confirmed with my bank (Emirates NBD) and the payment has been transferred to your beneficiary account. I had informed this to a member of the Credit collection team who was following up with me multiple times.
However, I got a call from her today and she started shouting at me asking why I had sent the email and that it is my responsibility to contact their beneficiary and ensure they receive the payment. Her behaviour was extremely rude and I had to disconnect the call as she was shouting at me. I have been trying to sort out this issue from my end as much as possible but I do not have a control on what the process is followed by the beneficiary of Dubai First. This seems like it has become my responsibility to sort out the issue, although it is very clear that the issue is with the payment process which Dubai First has established with their beneficiary.
I have been very patient during this whole case but I have had enough. I would like to inform that as soon as this case is resolved, I am going to cancel my credit card with Dubai First immediately. And I will definitely share my feedback with all my relatives and colleagues, on the horrifying experience I am having with Dubai First as well as the way their employees behave with customers. I have raised a complaint with the Central Bank as well, escalating this issue.In addition they have started charging fines and late payments for the same. I also got informed that this may impact my credit scores with the Etihad Bureau, which clearly the company does not care about.
