I ordered some products from Electric Bargain Store back in November of 2022, but it's been a long wait since then. I was getting a bit worried about my order, so I sent them an email in January to ask about it. They finally got back to me and said that the products I ordered wouldn't be available until late March. I guess that's not really their fault, but I wish they had told me that when I placed my order. It's been four months now, and I still haven't received my products.

One of them shone so bright and gorgeous, while the other gave me some real issues, flashing on and off close to 60% of the time I had it on. Rigorous trouble shooting discovered that it was not my electrification wire which was the problem, but rather a part of the fixture itself.
I had to call Hubbell electronics because they were the ones who made the fixtures. They told me to inform Electric Bargain stores to open a ticket about any issues I had, and then they'd be able to deliver what was needed to me. I was ready to send it back, and then purchase a new one from the website, but Electric Bargain stores put their foot down and said "No". I let them know that the thing is already in use and it would be pretty difficult to take them out. They said I could only get a refund. A refund, really? I asked for a new unit instead, and they said "No again"... My goodness, frustrating.
The best bet was to directly buy a new one, which I was able to do. I even requested for another new unit to be sent, so I'd have a backup in case this happened again. I had to send back the troubled unit, and luckily, got a refund. But now, I ended up paying for 2 brand new units and shipping too. Yikes, this whole debacle could've been resolved if Electric Bargain stores opened the trouble ticket with Hubbell. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

All that being said, I do have to give credit where credit is due -- once I finally got my order to go through, the smoke alarms arrived in good condition and seem to be working just fine. I gotta say, ordering off that Electric Bargain Store site was a bit of a pain in the behind. I got a story for y'all! It goes back about a year ago, Feb 2017. I wanted to hook up my crib with that LED lighting action and decided to cop 10 LED (Juno Warm dim) lights with 4 light switches from Electric Bargain Store. Ya feel me? Total came out to $3500, but ya gotta floss sometimes. When I installed the LEDs, everything went alright, but I noticed that one of the diffusers was cracked. I gave customer service a holler and they sent me out another one. Aight, cool.
But then, 7 months later in Oct 2017, one of the LED lights went out on me. I contacted customer service again and it was a whole different experience. I waited like 3 weeks before hollering at them again, but they finally hit me back saying that they were waiting on the manufacturer, but the product should ship within 5-7 business days. It did come through, but it was the wrong one based on the label. I let them know and they sent me another one based on the label. But when I tried to install it, it wouldn't turn off. I hit up customer service again and finally got an RMA number to send it back for warranty repair/exchange. So now, I got two lights in for warranty repair.
But yo, check this out. They sent me two more lights that were also the wrong ones, and this was all the way into Jan 2018. I sent them an email detailing the whole issue and said what my next steps were gonna be. Late Jan/early Feb 2018, someone from Electric Bargain Store gave me a call and I went off! I told them everything that happened and said that if I didn't have my lights by the following Monday, I was gonna do what I said in my email. We agreed that Valentine's Day would be acceptable for delivery, and he said he was personally gonna check on the lights and make sure they were right. Can y'all guess what was in the box when they finally arrived? Yup, still the wrong lights. The guy ended up contacting the manufacturer and it turned out that all the lights were labeled wrong.
But here's why I'm givin' them FIVE 5 stars. They went way above and beyond by issuing me a small refund on the lights and making sure that I got the correct ones. They did everything they could to make sure that I was happy, and after all that drama, I still went back and got more light switches from them. That's real customer service right there.

I recently bought some products from Electric Bargain Store and I gotta say, I was pretty happy with my experience. The items arrived on time and in good condition - everything was correct and well-packed. However, there were a couple of small screws missing from two of the packages, which was a bit of a bummer. Wanted a new item for my travel trailer. It was mounted on the ceiling (First Alert model CO400RVA, which apparently is no longer made). The original item had a front entry for the battery. This product was marketed as having a front entry for the battery. The picture even showed this type but the item received was a rear battery entry (First Alert model CO400B). Hope they update the picture and description.
However, the good thing is that the shape and size of the new one is the same as the original. Therefore, I could fix it into the ceiling mounting bracket with ease.

When I tried to call at 9 am pacific time; the automated operator advises to leave a msg. and someone will return the call in a "few" hours? What? I definitely do not like that message. Also, I have a customer ID no. when I got on chat because I could not get an email to assist with my forgotten password, he advises I don't need to log into my account. However, when I tried to place the order the way he suggested there were still complications. But in the end, it all worked out. It also did not help me that my card information changed without my knowledge.

It took forever for someone to answer my call but when they finally did, they were rude and unhelpful. They said that the 9120B is a better model and that this was a free upgrade for me. I tried to explain that I wanted the specific model I ordered and paid for, but they didn't care. They just repeated the same thing over and over again.
