discriminatory customer service
I have never before experienced a national business that condones racist behavior by a branch manager. Not only was I denied the car that was reserved by my insurance company but the neo nazi manager Ben Paige threatened to call the police if I did not leave even though all I wanted was a corpaoratw number where I could complain about the racist comment that was spoken to my face. A young white blonde haired and blue eyed man told me a middle ages bu racial man that he would "never" rent to someone like me...? What does that mean / when Ben Paige said this to me he said it with obvious racial implications. The re tsk company enterprise is fostering a racist atmosphere by employing people with racist views - racist attitudes- and a racist history in this very small town . Racism is alive and well at Enterprise Rent A Car. Thanks a lot Ben Paige!NOT
I will continue to rant about the discriminatory treatment I received by “Ben Paige” at enterprise rent a car despite the threats to sue me and despite the threats to call the police...I was discriminated against and I will not let it go so [censored] off
I was blatantly discriminated against by the branch manger of enterprise Rent a car in casa grande AZ. The branch manger Benjamin Paige refuses to even treat me like a human being and instead pulled one of those things wheee he did something wrong and then threatens to call the cops on me once I was trying to complain about what he said. This is the most racist encounter I have ever experienced in my life and I'm sure that a true racist like benjamin Paige at enterprise renta Car will show his true colors again. It's only a matter of time.
This branch manger is letting his racist views and opinions get in the way of legitimate business operations at Enterprise Rent A Car in casa grande az. His name is " Ben Paige " and he must think he can do what ever he wants and get away with it well not this time I'm going to keep complaining about it u til everyone knows just how rotten of a person he really is and he should be in no position of customer service or have any authority over anyone or anything. Enterprise must be hiring their brand he manager roghtboutta the KKK these days . SMH
Anytime a company hires someone who is a racist and allows that person to make business decisions on their behalf based on those racist views it will inevitably backfire. So is the example of enterprise hiring Mr. Benjamin Paige as a branch manager in charge of customer service. This young kLansmen has the authority to deny service to anyone based on their outward appearance and ethnic background. He is even bold enough to verbally discriminate against me in his explanation of why he refused to accept my valid form of payment used at that location before he was in charge. I was shocked that he could be so bold and I'm sure it's because he fears no repercusions from the company that probably looks upon these types of things favorably behind closed doors. We all know these types of companies are out there and I can assure you that enterprise renta car in casa grande az is one of them //// [censored] you ben!
I found out today from my insurance agent that Ben Paige has me put on the do not rent list at enterprise because I exposed him for the racist neo nazi trash that he really is. Racism is alive and well at enterprise renta a Car in casa grande az. He refused to accept my valid form of payment based on the way I look and he also verbally discriminated against me when he said that he would never rent to a person like me ( bi racial). After making a complaint to the corporate office about his overtly racist customer service I wa conatced by a "resolution team" from enterprise telling me that no one has ever complained about this employee before. Is that what theyvell everyone? This man should be fired and the company should be held liable for employing such a racist to handle any position of responsibility.
The fact that this young man (Ben Paige) was able to deny me service even though I was a perfectly legitimate customer who has frequented that same location in the past... points to nothing other than discrimination when you factor in the other fact that he told me to face he would never rent to someone like me. I may look differently than all the white business men in suits but I know that his decision was based on his personal dislike for bi racial minorities. When I wanted to make a complaint right away he went through the whole get out before I call the police thing that all white people do when they see someone who isn't white defying their racist expectations. This young man should be publicly shamed and or terminated from his position of responsibility within that company. However if a company promotes that type of behavior then they will do as they have done which is deny deny deny. Racism lives at enterprise.
I have never ever run into any type of business that employs a person like "Benjamin Paige" to be a branch manager. This person went out of his way to be the rudest most offensive and unhelpful person I have ever experienced in any kind of position where customer satisfaction is supposedly important. I have come to the conclusion that he can do what he wants to who ever he wants and get away with it even if it is against the law . Enterprise Rent A Car must promote this type of behavior because they employ a team of people to monitor the internet and dispute any accusations or to pretend that they are interested in resolving your issue. It's a bunch of BS when they have people like "Ben Paige" making customers feel like they have been blatantly discriminated against in action and word.
How in the world Enterprise allowed someone like Ben Paige to become responsible for helping customers is beyond me. This person obviously has personal issues with people of color and or any ethnic minorities. Not only were his actions racially charged but his choice of words only confirms that his hatred for bi racial people preceds his customer service duties. How can someone pick and choose who they will provide service to based on their own personal agenda. If it was a family owned mom and pop shop I could understand this type of thing happening but Enterprise Rent A Car is a international company and they still not only employ a racist pos like Ben Paige but they stand behind his race based business decisions and until someone has the nerve to admit that he was wrong I will complain as much as I can.
racist customer service
I was blatantly discriminated against at this location by the branch manager "Benjamin Paige" who refused to accept my valid credit card. When I questioned him as to why I was being treated this way he kicked me out of the office and threatened to call the cops on me (an empty threat - because I had committed no crime) he rescued to give me a number I could call to complain about him telling me that he refuses to rent to "people like me" as a bi racial person when a blond haired and blue eyed white man says this to me - I consider it to be a racist remark. I guess Ben can get away with things like this because he has a history in this town of being a racist now.
customer service + racism
I was discriminated against by branch manager Benjamin page in the Cassa grande Arizona enterprise Rent-A-Car location. I have never experienced such blatant racism in this day and age and I'm furious that someone is in any position is customer service. The level of discrimination that I believe I experienced would be enough to bring to a court of law if I was a litigating person. I am more interested in knowing that the people responsible for these behaviors have been reprimanded.

I know the feeling of having racist remarks said to your face because of Ben Paige at the casa grande az Enterprise Rent A Car / thank Ben for the low rating enterprise !

I have already explained it and spoken to someone and I am sure that no one cares and that the branch manager in casa grande AZ ( B. Paige) will be allowed to continue with his discriminatory tactics. I can assure you that you don’t care what happened to me and that you only want me to be quiet about it. Not gonna happen
false damage claim
On Saturday March 23, I dropped my car off at Caliber Collision to be repaired. I requested that the insurance use Enterprise instead of Hertz because we have rented there in the past and they were great. I was brough a car by a girl from Enterprise the same day. We did the walk around and I took the car. The employee stated if I didn't like the car, I could get something else. From the minute I drove it, I knew it had been in some kind of accident. It was pulling hard to the right and the sensors were not working. I called the office the very next day to exchange it and I was told there were no cars in that price available and I could try back in a few days. My husband used the car to drive to and from work- less than 40 miles for the entire time we had it. Our car was ready early, so we dropped it at Caliber Collision on Friday afternoon March 29. They have an Enterprise satellite office and we were told we could just leave the keys. My deposit was refunded the same day the car was dropped off. I received a call from Matt on Tuesday April 2. He stated he was submitting a damage claim against me for "scratches to the roof". I adamantly denied any such scratches and asked why he was contacting me 4 days later. The car was never picked up from Caliber Collision until Monday April1 and it sat in their unsecured parking lot from Friday until Monday. Matt stated the scratches on the roof were noted on Monday afternoon. I recieved the first of 3 emails from Enterprise starting April 1 stating I would be contacted. The seconde email stated I had to submit an Incident report. I received a third email stating the same as the second to which I called and spoke to DRU on 4-8-19 to let them know the report and my statement was sent 3 days earlier. I was told to disregard the email and that I would be contacted in 2 weeks to let me know of your decision. I received an email from Mac on Wednesday April 17 and when I called him back I was sent to voicemail. My husband called Mac on Thursday and was told I owe $1100.00 for the damages and it was already repaired. Mac also stated that it was not just the roof, but they included scratches to the hood and trunk as well. I was NEVER even given a copy of my rental agreement, a copy of the report filed against me by Matt and a copy of the estimate of damages. It was repaired without even a consent or estimate to look at. Mac also stated he called and spoke to the guys at Caliber Collision where they have drop off and pick up service. I spoke to Matt the manager and Zach at Caliber and they stated they were never contacted by ANY representatives from Enterprise. They also told me that the written agreement between Enterprise and Caliber states that they are not allowed to store the rental cars in the secured parking lot where they have cameras in case that a car needs to be picked up by an employee of Enterprise after hours. The rental car in question was sitting in that car lot from Friday to Monday. it is a high traffic area in a public lot. I am extremely upset to be accused of damaging this car and disgusted at how it is being handled. I work as a nurse to advocate for patients but who is helping me?

chip in the windshield, above the rear view mirror
when checking in the car they noticed a chip in the windshield above the mirror...
i wasn't aware of it and do not recall any time while driving the car that it was there..
the notice of the chip was not found until i returned the car on 3/11/19 at the phoenix international airport. totally unaware of this condition. no time while driving was there any indicating factors, sounds, or any physical action that would alert me of any type of incident occurring.. bottom line totally unaware of this issue until i returned the car...if i had known during the time i had the car, i would have contacted enterprise immediately.

locksmith fee
This concerns Rental Agreement # 579436 on March 14, 2019 which started in Fort Lauderdale. When I was inspecting the car, the Enterprise agent had deposited the key fob in the car and while I was signing the papers outside, somehow, the drivers door closed and I was locked out before having set foot inside. A locksmith was called and I was informed there...

On March 8, 2019, I received an email from my Geico abouta claim that was filed. I was confused. I called and was told this was due to a rental in a Chevy camaro (I'm 54 and a lover of SUV's and Cadillacs) in Florida in December 13th 2018. I wasn't in FL.I was in Pittsburgh on business where I rented a car from Alamo Nd my car was parked at LaGuardia because I live in CT There was obviously no way that I could be listed as the insured responsible party with a name Of a driver that I do not know nor ever heard of. More investigation I found the renter has the same last name as me, is a relative but has no affiliation with my address in Connecticut, has never been on my insurance policy, and did not give anyone my info.It is now March 21st, no adjustments have been made, I am a long customer of enterprise and my reputation is at stake, I will need to rent for business soon, I am afraid my insurance premium is going to go up and I am downright furious that no one as taken off of my insurance and my name off of the enterprise claim as well. If this is not completed by the end of business tomorrow, I will be suing enterprise, State Farm Nd Geico for wasted time, undue stress and aggravation, and stolen identity, false claims.

rental car
I returned my rental car to the Waterloo, IA Enterprise location shortly after 12:45 P.M. on February 27th during normal business hours. The weather was clear and sunny, and it seemed to be a slower time of day as I saw several Enterprise employees standing in the lobby. I witnessed Enterprise representative, K, perform a complete 360 degree walk-around inspection of the Nissan Sentra I rented. After completing the inspection, K said everything checked the same as when the vehicle was rented out to me (on February 19th, 2019).
The rental agreement #4WTQPZ was closed on February 27, 2019 at 12:59 P.M. in front of myself and Enterprise representative K (inspector of returned vehicle), R (branch manager), and Enterprise drivers. No damage was acknowledged by any representative during checkout. Possession of Enterprise's Nissan Sentra was transferred to Enterprise driver, C, along with the keys for my returned vehicle.
The Enterprise driver, C, drove me to my home, approximately a 25 mile trip. He dropped me off at my home and drove the same Nissan Sentra back to the Waterloo Enterprise location. No damage was on the vehicle at this time and none was acknowledged by the Enterprise driver.
They sent me an email on March 2nd stating there was damage on the vehicle and to talk with my insurance. I am not sure what to do, since I didn't damage the vehicle and the Enterprise rep said everything was fine. I will definitely try to fight this however I can, though.
Other renters: find a different company to rent from and make sure to take before and after pics and maybe even video record your car inspections.

car rental upgrade scam
I have problem with Enterprise on Hollister, Goleta, CA. I ordered standard car, ticket 069420, thru and paid by Geico Insurance, Enterprise brought SUV without any notice, or bill for extra charge. A month later they billed my credit card $101.15. I called them they said it's for upgrade and will talk to manager but that's all. Bunch of con men.
I disputed it with credit card but no help.

enterprise west new york, nj
I am emailing you in regards to claim [protected] through Plymouth Rock. On 1/2/19 Owen Dietz, my Plymouth Rock agent emailed Mr. Pisciella, an Enterprise Liaison from Plymouth Rock regarding a credit that was to be issued to my account by Enterprise. I returned the vehicle to the West New York, NJ Enterprise location on the date instruction by Plymouth Rock. Prior to that a representative there told me I had to take out an additional insurance on the vehicle to avoid my premiums going up if I were to get into an accident. Upon returning the vehicle I spoke to Joe and he spoke to his manager, I didn't get the woman's name and I explained to Enterprise I spoke to Plymouth Rock and I was told I did not need the insurance. I also told them my number was sold by Enterprise and I am now getting soliciting calls to purchase a used vehicle by two individuals that work for Enterprise named Jafar and Frank. I told Enterprise my number was given out without my consent. I was told the insurance fee was to be waived by Joe's manager. Weeks later Enterprise notified me again that I owed $280 in fees for the insurance. I told them again Joe stated the fee would be waived and I did not owe a balance. The representative was nasty and stated I would not be contacted again. I told her she did not have the authorization to charge my card. I contacted my bank and found out she charged my card anyway. I contacted Enterprise's corporate office and explained the situation. I was told the district manager would contact me. I was never contacted by the district manager. Can you please assist me in this matter?
Thank you

deposit refund
As of today I still have not received my deposit back ($250) it's been several weeks, since I returned the car. I did receive a letter stating I apparently had a toll road charge that I wasn't aware of, but that's like $15. By now I should have received the deposit less the toll free, but nothing. I will likely not use Enterprise again if this isn't resolved soon. I will also share my bad experience everywhere with everyone.

car rental
We rented a car on 27-Nov-2018 at 8 pm from San Diego Enterprise PARKING LOT (very limited lights) and returned back the car to LAX airport on 28-Nov-2018 morning. When returning the car, the person told me that there is a scratch near the tire under the driver seat! When we told that this damage has not been done by us, he said that he will look at the CC TV footage and send us the details of the same via email.
I flew out of country for 1 month and after returning, there was $420.90 claim in my mail box from enterprise with just the pics of the damage! No emails, no CC tv footage nothing!
On calling customer recovery center, they were rude enough to tell me that it is my fault and I will have to pay for the damage. I have been reading multiple blogs and many have faced the same issue. This is a method of Enterprise to rip out money from their customers and fix their damaged vehicles (not sure that they even do that because they can follow the same process with some other customers too).
We rent a car for convenience and end up getting all the headache and finally pay for the mistake which we have never committed.
No more renting from Enterprise ever in my life.

RA# [protected]; I rented car from Enterprise while in Ohio visiting family for Christmas from 12/21 to 12/26. Read full review of Enterprise Rent-A-Carenterprise allowed someone to rent a car with my drivers license number when I was in another state!
On Christmas Eve I went to pick up my reserved Enterprise rental car in Chicago to drive and meet my family for Christmas and Church. When they asked for my drivers liscence they ran the number and said I could not have the car as there was money owed for a rental in Nashville in June. I explained I did not rent a car in June. They ran the report and saw a woman rented a car there and somehow they used my address and drivers liscence number. I am a man! They rented a car to a woman, used my identity and then caused me to miss Christmas with my family. I called the office in Nashville which they identified as the branch that committed the fraud. I was told they would look into it and call me right back. They never called back. I recalled them and spoke to the manager who repeatedly said they didn't have a reservation under my name. I explained it was because they rebted it to someone else using my liscence but she wouldn't listen and denied it was their fault. I explained she was acting as an agent of Enterprise and corporate had identified them as creating the issue. She said she would check into it and call back for which she has not.
In summary. Enterprise fraudulently rented a car to someone else using my drivers liscence number and address, held me responsible for charges and liability of the vechicle, caused me to miss Christmas and Church with my family, and lastly incur significant cost of last minute holiday travel.

pompano beach north federal - abuse of position to harass and confrontational threats
This is enough. Very immature and misguided employees that use their position to retaliate and threaten. It's not customer service, its hurtful. Its sales people that literally use every opportunity to damage peoples lives. When you need to rent a car, regardless of the time frame of a short contract or a long contract. It's never an easy task. The staff at the Pompano Beach FL location were overheard by myself and my husband. We heard the way a staff member spoke to a caller that called in and heard her basically threaten retaliation. We then were able to hear the continued proud Enterprise rental agent brag about what she could put the customer through with the main office. I can only pray that this agent is humbled and will never hurt a person in this type of way again. And then be proud of herself with her staff as to what she put the customer through. I now have read the reviews about Enterprise Rental. ENTERPRISE RENTAL, its time for you to answer on a Federal level as to obviously your training and direction to staff for debt collection, threats, retaliation. Its disgusting, and we have decided to escalate this with the state and federal agencies that we have close working relationships with. My husbands law firm works with Federal Cases and complaints and works closely with Pam Bondi's office. Pompano rental agent, shame on you and you never know who is listening and you never know who a customer may know. We will continue to escalate this until 1) Enterprise makes immediate changes and appreciates the customers they have 2) The Pompano agent (name withheld til requested)is terminated effective immediately. damage recovery unit
My Kia's warranty rented me a car when my Optima broke down. During the rental period i was stopped at a stop sign, brakes engaged, brake lights shining bright and the lady behind me "her foot slipped from the brake to gas and she hit me with enough force to cause almost $1, 000 in damages. Enterprise had our statements along with her insurance and during my conversations with her insurance company they said we will be at fault acknowledging the girl hit me while i was stopped. Now i am getting a notice in the mail that Enterprise has found me at fault for the damages. I am confused how if i am stopped and her "foot slipped" aka she was on the phone how am i at fault when i was clearly stopped and following the law? I cant pay a $1, 000 and see no reason to. They will not answer or return any of my calls or emails and i have left multiple. I want the reason why this is my fault and i want it in writing as the notice they sent had nothing of why i am at fault in it.

I'm having the same problem rented a car on nov 21 and returned it on the 23 of 2018 drop car off clean and full of gas also was told I would be receiving my full deposit back . I called the bank to see what's going on and was told a lot of Bank of America customers are have problems getting their money back from enterprise. I don't understand they can take ur money in minutes but take forever to get it back. This will be my last time doing business with them I will be giving them a bad review after seeing I'm nt the only one.

File a claim with your bank. They will never give the money back because on their end it looks as though they refunded the total. Its a scam.
fraudulent damage claim
On November 6th 2018 I rented a car from the Enterprise office in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
It was a busy day for them and they were quickly cleaning cars and moving them out to renters as fast as they could. The only car they had available for me was a large Dodge Minvan. The rental agreement number is 3ZZ3SK. The car had not been well cleaned. There was dirt on the outside, and spilled coffee on the inside along with other spills and dirt. As I said, it was a busy day. I am mentioning this because it was quite obvious no one had time or the inclination to inspect the vehicle before renting it to me. The inspection of the car was cursory. We walked around looking for any dents and scratches "larger than 2 inches". There were none. I commented a couple times about how dirty the car was and the agent's only response was, "I'm sorry". Since the van was so big and cumbersome to drive I only used it sparingly to buy items for the condo I was remodeling to sell. Trips were to Lowes, Target, Macy's Kaloko Furniture, and my friends condo at Alii Lani. Most of the time it was in the parking space at my condo. I returned the car on Sunday, November 18th around 2:00PM. Much to my surprise the office was closed! No one had mentioned this to me when I rented or when I called to ask about getting to the airport when I dropped it off.
So, I was quite surprised to get an email from Natasha at Enterprise asking "Do you remember anyone sitting up top?" She claims they found a dent in the roof.
My response: "All my friends are 60 to 70 years old, I can promise that none of us sat on the roof. I don't remember anyone checking the roof when I rented the car, either."
Natasha email my back to say, " Although no one in your party sat on the vehicle, the damage still occurred during your rental, maybe from a coconut or something. We do complete a full inspection at each check-in and return."
Obviously, they did not do a full inspection at check-in as the prior check-in and subsequent rental was a quick turn-around in the lot, and they did not do an inspection on return as they were closed. If there was damage, and after an internet search about Enterprise, I doubt it, it could have occurred in their parking lot after I returned the car and before they opened on Monday morning.
I drove on the Big Island for 14 years. I never had a coconut fall on my car. This claim is ludicrous and clearly fraudulent. I see from my research that it is also a common practice with Enterprise. I will be filing a claim with the State of Hawaii Office of Consumer Affairs tomorrow. I hope I won't have to and that you will resolve this matter quickly.
By the way, I also noticed that a refund of $250 was posted to my account, as per the rental agreement. Then, another charge of $140 was made to the account. I have no idea what that charge was for since no one notified me. That is also fraudulent.
I do not want to receive any more threatening emails from Natasha and want this matter closed.
