I attempted to rent a car this summer. My family has rented thru Enterprise for vacations countless times for decades. I was told this year that I was unable to rent due to having been put on a DNR list. I called Risk Management who told me that I'd been put on the list in 2021, over 3 years ago. Which made no sense as I have rented since then. Risk Mgmt said I would need to contact the Woodbridge location as they put me on the list. I called & Woodbridge location indicated she did not know anything about this list. She indicated it was because the car was in an accident with a family member driving, & I had not signed the additional driver form. She indicated this form cost $15. I told her I do not recall this request. If someone had asked me to sign the form, I am confident I would have signed it. My insurance company paid for everything in full with the accident.
I am a responsible customer who values your company. I have a perfect driving record & a perfect credit score. I was mortified to find out I'm on this 'never to rent again' list. I am asking if I can please be reconsidered as a customer of Enterprise. Now that I know, I will promise to always sign the additional driver form even if no one else is likely to drive.
Sincerely,
Traci Lowe

Claimed loss: I am requesting to have my renting privileges reinstated with Enterprise.
Desired outcome: That Enterprise would understand I was not asked to sign the additional driver form at the time of rental & that I will be sure to sign it every time from now on.

It sounds like a miscommunication led to your placement on the DNR list, especially given your long history with Enterprise. Emphasizing your strong track record and willingness to comply with policies should help your case. Reach out to Enterprise’s Risk Management again, request a formal review of your case, and mention your flawless driving record and full insurance payment. Expressing your commitment to following future rental requirements, like signing the additional driver form, may convince them to remove you from the list. Keep all communication professional and clear for the best chance of resolution!
