phishing occurring on "garden of time," front cover when you start the game??
For the last month, we have a hacker on the "Garden of Time" game that is using the phishing system getting the player to download 'My Fun cards game' which is potentially dangerous to download the link. It comes on the first thing in the introduction of the front cover and very annoying having to wait for 30 minutes, hoping the player clicks the link? No wonder so many players are complaining and having trouble with Facebook!
Why is this being allowed? Please find out who the hacker is and get him off of the games.
I purchased a "putting aid" from an advertisement on facebook. I received 3 unmarked golf balls.
This is the third scam that I fell victim to from Facebook advertising. The first was laptops, the second was golf clubs and now this putting aid.
Are all of your advertisers scam artists?
Why do you not have any controls prior to letting them advertise under your name?
Facebook needs to have more discretion with their advertisers and weed out the scams, even if you don't make as much $'s...
my sons identity was stolen and you closed his account of 47k and left all imposter accounts open.
My son, Dario Del Priore is a 16 year old musician who has had a Facebook account for about 4 years and really built up his following. His identity was constantly being stolen and was reported several times. This last time I reported someone pretending to be him, they closed my sons account. It has been closed for about 7 months despite Dario sending in all the proofs Facebook required; birth certificate and social security cards. This is shameful. He had over 40K and really worked hard to promote himself. He is Dario Del Priore, not all these perverted men and children pretending to be him. The imposter pages are still open and his account is closed? Facebook needs to get this fixed or I will soon be taking it to my police precinct.
almeida and almeida home remodeling llc
Chris Almeida states he has a one year Guarantee on refinishing the bathtub. He talked me into it and Within a couple months the bathtub turned yellow and lost the shine and for the full year he refused to come and fix it, even though it's in his contract one year guarantee. We also paid him to do the plumbing which he did not know how to do so my husband did it but we still had to hire a plumber to complete the plumbing. We also discussed the 1/16 inch for the grout but he refused to do upon multiple requests. It also wasn't sealed. The toilet was placed wrong so my husband had to fix that too. He also gave me a hard time about completing the trim. Be careful who you hire, esp when they don't stand behind there own contract! Why on Facebook advertisements can people only give a thumbs up there's really no where to write a review or give a thumbs down. Which is kind of a safety concern!
online public conduct
I have been a Facebook member for almost 20 years now. Having origionaly switched from Myspace. However during the past 3 or 4 years I have noticed a marked increase in agressive and downright nasty behaviour from some individuals. Poking fun at others, or starting an argument for no good reason. It could be as simple as a Man saying "I love Red Roses", and then that getts followed up with a comment like "You must be a reall pussy face, Laugh, Laugh emoji" Even laghing at someone who's made a simple spelling mistake seems to have become the norm now days. And its not a little light hearted fun followed by "sorry dude I was just having some fun with you"... No, its downright nasty and evil tormenting behaviour. I am very dissapointed that Facebook seems unwilling to place greater controls on users behaviour toward others in these respects. Cyber bullying has become an online Sport for some people. They seem to look for someone with a kind or gentle heart and then see how long it take to tear that person apart !. I am now at the point where I am probably going to quit Facebook. I do not need the stress of reading all the [censored] from these people. And Facebook show no sign of being willing to adress the problem !.
contractor painting building remodel construction
These guys are garbage. They destroyed my home and took a month longer than promised. I wish I would have found reputable contractors who actually know what they are doing. Never been so disappointed.
The owner hires pedophiles so please keep away if you have kids! If not, please get ready for sub par work from a couple of guys who have no idea what they are doing. The owner is a joke.
Wow. That's crazy. You said not only do they not know their thing, they are preying on kids too? Just wow.
wig
I also ordered a wig from facebook from lissh. First it took over 2 months to receive it and when I did it was nothing like the advertised wig! Cost half as much to send it back and I had to pay to return because the refused to send a return label. I had to go thru paypal disputes to get that far. Hind sight makes me wish I would have just went thru my credit card since they probably would have forced them to just credit me back. These wigs are terrible. They feel so fake it's crazy. Do not buy from them! Scammers!

blocked from posting links
What on earth is facebook playing at? You have blocked me from posting links? You have blocked me from commenting of group posts? You have not given me a single reason for your actions what so ever! I have never posted inappropriate content in all the years I have been signed up to facebook! I have never bullied anyone in anyway! Nothing I have ever posted is nor will it ever be an attack on any person what so ever! Am running a business and I use facebook to advertise through the group I created and facebook has now made it impossible for me to even comment in my own business group! And still no explanation! I have herd from other people a awful lot lately that facebook is blocking accounts left right and centre as you are do not support any kind of freedom of speech what so ever! I thought is was all a bit over the top until now! I have never been slanderous in anyway? I believe if only posting facts that I believe others have the rights to know about! I'm share true information to those who want to know the facts! So tell me why I am blocked I hardly post anything on facebook so tell me why you felt the need to do this? I have never been so disgusted by a companies actions and lack of customer support the way I am discussed with facebook right now!
Facebook has no rights to block people's posts especially for no apparent or good reason what so ever. How dare you not ben try to dictate to anyone what they can and can not do in a free world!
I want you to explain in depth why you felt the need to block me! I want to know why you didn't think it was necessary to inform me of your actions and to give me a good reason as to why you took this action against me? I then want you to unblock my account asap or I will make this situation public and will share this email on every social site, video streamer and so on to let people know just how bad face book has become!
My email address below.
[protected]@yahoo.co.uk
If I do not hear anything back then I will take this matter to the public and newspapers.
I have just complained and was given the option to share it on face book and I was allowed as by all accounts my content was blocked ?
What for?
What a load of rubbish
I have looked at previous complaints made to Facebook ABOUT Facebook! It seems to me and many others that Facebook a customer service staff are picking and choosing which complaints to solve and which one not to solve? Your company just keeps getting worse! Are you really this stupid and do you really think this is how you deal with your loyal customers? Hell NO!
Facebook needs to re-evaluate the way Facebook has is and no doubt ably will be treating their customers! Facebook needs to look at their company policies in regards to their customers! If you do not Start changing then I will make all complaints made public and people will see how you deal with your customers!
Face book is a total disgrace!
In 2012, I joined Facebook as a method to communicate with Friends & Family, most of whom live far away from me. I enjoyed those first few years, but ...Over the years, Facebook shut my page down a few times, & I was not a happy camper. That was my principle means of keeping in touch with my Friends & Familly. When the page was shut down, it left me scrambling for email addresses or phone numbers of my Contacts. This was very aggravating.
Most of the time, my page has been shut down after I make a valid complaint. There are three types:
1) Men seeking a partner solicit me on Facebook. I am Married, with 2 grown Children & a Granddaugh- ter. I am not seeing a partner. Therefore, that is inappropriate behavior on the part of the solicitor. I have a Right to File a Complaint for Inappropriate Behavior or Harassment if this happens, but Facebook always shuts down my page when I do that...2) Facebook does not like me to express my opinions. That is narrow-minded. I don't think a business should censor other people's opinions. Do you? Then there is no exchange of ideas, & your pages are controlled by you. That does not make sense to me! 3) When unknown people land on my page & "bug me," I have a right to ask that they be removed. Then my page is shut down...It feels like there is a double-standard at Facebook, because you're not consis-tent. You don't follow your own policies, & if somebody brings that to your attention, you shut down their page.
In 2003, I founded Small Business named Sonrisa Designs & Handmade Animals. It consisted of Fabric Items and Fine Art, and there were 30 people involved in creating the products. I alone marketed the many products at Art Fairs which were a minimum of 1/2 hour to 1 hour to 3 hours' drive from my home. We did very well until some unethical competition began to copy our Artwork & Crafts from Fabric. In 2014, I gave up the cause & returned to pursue my 4th University Degree in the area of Art History, but I still own the products & the Artwork. It is a very demanding course of study, & it leaves me no free time to create & post products until after Graduation in 6 months...Recently, I noticed a very complex layout of empty "boxes" on a page set up by Facebook with my company name. Facebook set up that page, but it is much too complex for me! Then, Facebook began to add photos of various objects in those boxes. I have no idea where those came from, but they are not mine! I did not have the energy to delete all of those photos posted, but I deleted some some of them, like an ugly photo of raw meat, etc. The photos do not match the title of the page, & they should not be there. I don't think this is a good way to conduct business, when I have no say in the matter at all ! If I graduate in May, 2023, I wonder if it is worth the risk to post my original Art or Crafts, because I do not want it copied or tampered with. This remains to be seen: Is Facebook Ethical? PS - Sonrisa Designs & Handmade Animals are printed on U. S. Copyright Registrations for my work; these titles do NOT belong to Facebook!
I joined Facebook in 2012, when I was stuck in bed with Valley Fever. It started out as a Social Website, so I added my Childhood Friends, my Relatives, & Other People I had met in my Current Place of Resi-dence. Over the years, I have noticed a difference in the way various Facebook members present information. Most of them are factual & polite...However, during past Election Years (2016, 2020, 2022) I have seen some outrageous comments made, many without fact & some with bad language. I have reported these by clicking the button next to the inappropriate statement. In many cases, my report has been ignored, & my page has been shut down...I often feel a need to state my opinion about inappro-priate information which is posted on Facebook Pages. I like to cite Statistics or give my own personal experience. Recently, a Gubernatorial Candidate in our State posted a Racist Statement. I found a story online which contradicted that Candidate's Position, so I posted that information. Facebook shut down my page again & again. I guess Facebook wants to see inaccurate Racist statements posted, but I don't !
wig
They are called Natural Wig and Texas Wig so far on Facebook. However, I am sure there are many other aliases. Do not trust these people. They are a company in China and are selling products that are not the quality that is advertised. The Paypal address is: LISSH CO., LTD [protected]@163.com. The email address used for customer service is: [protected]@gmail.com. Please be careful. Once you try to resolve the issue for a refund, they will stop responding. So, open a dispute as fast as you can; or better yet, check for weird email addresses for red flags.
vinyl ziplock food bags
I ordered 2 sets of ziplock vinyl bags for storing food from a Facebook ad.
They were mailed months after I ordered them and received with no receipt or documentation. Products are not worth a penny. They do not seal and are a complete rip off.
Their return address on my package is -
Jin Tai 20275 Business Parkway City of Industry, CA 91789-2950
I did some research on them and found there are lots of other disgruntled customers who ordered anything ranging from clothing to technology items ALL receiving 100% poor ratings. They need to be reported to BBB!
I am filing this complaint for 3 reasons. They should not be allowed to get away with false advertising. I do not want other facebook customers receiving the same poor product. I want Facebook to be aware and keep their standards higher to protect their followers and not give business to dishonest people!
purchase of item not received
The store is using the name of SM to proof legitimacy of their sales of unlimited internet using the facebook. On Jauary 9, 2020, I bought internet antenna and simcard including the shipping fee in the total amount of PHP 1000.00 and paid it thru GCash. The receipt of such payment was posted thru Facebook Messenger which was fully acknowledged and I was promised that it has already been shipped thru JRS on January 10, 2020. However, upon demand on January 11, 2020, they told me that it was shipped out thru LBC. But on January 14, 2020 they aggravated their fraudulent scheme acknowledging that the product was not shipped out but instead, they want me to personally go to their store to get it.
The payment I made includes shipping fee and it will be hassle for me, to add the transportation expenses in going to their store. Nonetheless, they explicitly pronounced on a guarrantee of "Same Day Shipment upon Payment".
I would like to get the exact name of the said establishment to include the name of its owner for the proper filing of a case of estafa and a separate complaint in teh Department of Trade and Industry.
I also would like to indulge for your appropriate action on the deceptive practices committed by your tenant store that is tarnishing the good reputation of the SM Malls.

I wrote to fb support and ask why i can't purchase on here, i sent them my ID's and Banking info. i contacted them at least 4-5 x now and no one is responding back to me. they are ignoring me for some reason, that is unprofessional. i want an answer and if they won't allow me to purchase i want my id's and bankcard destroyed. They have never replied back. I am being targeted and cant do a damn thing. they don't believe you when you're account is hacked and someone else used it or some how got a hold of my credit card info and used it without me knowing, it could be them or anyone else, this crap needs to stop! someone or a bunch of us need to do something about how they treat their loyal customers and people. and banning went from 4, 7, days now to 30, it's insane. please someone has to make changes and help us out here. then there is no number to get any live help. that's not how a business should work.
why can't i purchase on any of your games, i contacted support many times and no one is responding to me that is not a way to run a business. I ask that you find out what the problem is, you are not making any money by support specialist not allowing it.
wig
I ordered a wig on december 10 just got it. Almost a. Month later... Besides canceled the order immediately after I called paypal that said it was too late... Besides it being the worst wig i've ever seen... But it was. Nothing like the wig they advertised wrong color wrong style just a total bogus piece of [censored] wig... Scammers beyond scammers i've emailed over 29 times and cant even get a return address to return it for a refund... I dont know what to do to get my money back... I dont want this beyond ugly wig... And why does facebook allow this company to continue to advertise with all the comments and negative complaints? Just puzzling... Cynthia haak [protected]@gmail.com
contractor: carpentry (exterior)
The few Facebook reviews (5) I read regarding Alexander Home & Carpentry (Moncacy Dr, Raleigh, North Carolina), deal with woodworking -- in which Alexander Mahoney appears to be skilled. This review deals purely with carpentry and the exterior carpentry job I hired Alexander Mahoney to complete in December 2019 -- that was not completed to my full satisfaction.
To preface this review, I prefer to work with tradesmen that offer full transparency, communication, attention to detail, and professionalism. However, this was not the case.
I can only speak to the facts surrounding his work, which I cannot, unfortunately, with a good conscience, recommend Alexander for any exterior carpentry work, due to the ten reasons listed below.
1. The initial invoice was severely lacking. It did not include any terms and conditions, which was blamed on an "app" issue. As a result, I included standard T&C's and requested a revised invoice, which I received.
2. The scope of work on the invoice was very generalized; lacking a standard punch list that most jobs require. When I provided a comprehensive list of "installation notes" to clarify the job scope, his response was: "I am not comfortable singing a contract that dictates how I do the work." This is substandard and a lack of transparency that will nearly always cause scope creep (and it did).
3. Lumber materials were not sourced in advance. The job was approved (via 50% deposit) 11 days in advance. During the job, he went to purchase lumber that was no longer available. I was then informed me I would need to purchase different and more expensive lumber materials. This was a result of his lack of planning and sourcing materials prior to the job start to ensure he had what he needed on-hand to complete the job. Ultimately, I had to help him source the original materials from another retailer (which caused delays).
4. He damaged (i.e., put a significant hole in) the interior drywall while replacing a wall stud via the exterior wall. Thankfully, my drywall guy was on-site and was able to fix it. If not, this would have been another costly repair for a second trip out.
5. The adjacent siding was damaged during the removal of deck railing on the back wall, which required a new trim corner piece. I was up-charged for materials and didn't want to bother with the issue at this juncture. Note: A customer should not pay for the damages made by a contractor on-site.
6. Paint drips were found on glass and the top overhang of adjacent siding. They were not pointed out to me, and I had to follow-up via email to confirm they would be handled.
7. Siding boards were installed and painted without filling any of the screw holes. His response: " I did not do that as that's not in the orginal contract and considered an upcharge in outdoor trim work. I will be happy to do so with an upcharge for the work. "
(Imagine the absurdity: A carpenter installs siding and does not include a basic part of the process (filling holes) within his scope of work. It's really akin to asking someone to install/paint crown molding and then being up-charged to fill nail holes. I could care less about the cost -- it's a matter of principle and full disclosure up-front.)
8. The job dragged due to "cold" weather and light drizzle/rain. On a particular day, it rained a slight drizzle and I was notified same-day at 1 pm that he would not be back until the following day.
9. A side project for mailbox installation had to be done twice, given the initial concrete did not set.
10. Re: Mailbox Installation: He completed a side project in which I needed my new mailbox installed. It's a $500 mailbox and it was scratched significantly as the bolt was installed. He blamed the tool, stating "The scratch you are seeing is the effect of the tool used to drive bolts that big, which most of the time leave a mark. It won't rust but it does leave a surface scratch which is expected."
This could have easily been avoided with a non-marring attachment or heavy-duty/electrical tape. The excuse amounts to someone blaming a hammer for a hole in a wall as their driving a nail. Non-sensical at this point. As a result, I had to order custom paint from the manufacturer.
On my end, I should have taken more care to research his actual carpentry skills, which often differs quite considerably when compared to woodworking (i.e., building tables, etc.).
While I have many other larger projects down the pipeline, I've decided not to utilize Alexander Home & Carpentry (Raleigh, NC) for future carpentry work, given the number of issues I experienced.
The work was completed, but due to his lack of planning, required materials on-hand, transparency (i.e., invoicing), communication, and new issues that arose from his work, I've decided to go in a different direction moving forward.
Hired Alexander Mahoney of Alexander Home & Carpentry in Raleigh, North Carolina to complete exterior carpentry renovations.
While the 5 Facebook reviews I read deal with his woodworking service, there was few, far and in-between dealign with his carpentry skill. While the final job was completed, I cannot, with a good conscience, recommend Alexander Mahoney for any exterior carpentry work, due to the severe lack of attention to detail, knowledge, communication, and professionalism he lacked during the job.
1. The invoice did not include any terms and conditions, which was blamed on an "app" issue. As a result, I had to include standard T&C's and requested a revised invoice, which I received.
2. The scope of work on the invoice was very generalized; lacking a standard punch list detail that most jobs require. When I provided a comprehensive list of "installation notes" to clarify the job scope, his response was: "I am not comfortable singing a contract that dictates how I do the work." This is substandard and a lack of transparency that will nearly always cause scope creep (and it did).
Beware of contractors that won't define the scope (job details) up-front.
3. Lumber materials were not sourced in advance. Given the job was approved (via 50% deposit) 11 days in advance, this was unacceptable. As a result of his poor planning, during the job, he went to purchase lumber that was no longer available. I was then informed me I would need to purchase different and more expensive lumber materials. Professional contractors will source materials prior to the job start and ensure they have what's needed on-hand to complete the job. This caused delays.
4. He damaged (i.e., put a significant hole in) the interior drywall while replacing a wall stud via the exterior wall. Thankfully, my drywall guy was on-site and was able to fix it. If not, this would have been another costly repair for a second trip out. The adjustment was made on the invoice.
5. The adjacent siding was damaged during the removal of deck railing on the back wall, which required a new trim corner piece. Note: Where the siding was damaged, the deck was not even attached to that area. I don't know how he managed to mangle that up. However, I was up-charged for materials and didn't want to bother with the issue at this juncture. Note: A customer should not pay for the damages made by a reckless contractor on-site.
6. Paint drips were found on glass and the top overhang of adjacent siding, which is par for the course (and an easy fix). However, on the final day and walk-through, I had to remind him of this and ensure it was removed. Again, babysitting a job that a pro contractor would cover off/communication on these things.
7. Siding boards were installed and painted without filling any of the screw holes. His response: " I did not do that as that's not in the orginal contract and considered an upcharge in outdoor trim work. I will be happy to do so with an upcharge for the work." See #2.
Note: If paint/prime is in the scope, it's very common to fill holes as a part of that process. However, he skipped over this and wanted to up-charge after the fact.
I liken this nonsense to asking someone to install/paint crown molding and after the fact being up-charged to fill nail holes. I could care less about the cost -- it's a matter of principle and lack of full disclosure up-front.
8. The job dragged due to "cold" weather and light drizzle/rain. On a particular day, it rained a slight drizzle and I was notified same-day at 1 pm that he would not be back until the following day. Lack of communication.
9. A side project for mailbox installation had to be done twice, given the initial concrete did not set.
10. Re: Mailbox Installation: He completed a side project in which I needed my new mailbox installed. It's a $500 mailbox and it was scratched significantly as the bolt was installed. 11. Lastly, he did not complete the prime/paint aspect of the job, which I noticed on the final walkthrough. I took a photo and he attempted to gaslight the entire situation by saying the photo (and a subsequent video) doesn't show that it is done. Upon observation: wood grain, no bright white primer, and yet "It was done."
This was a significant oversight and he attempted to explain it away -- never taking ownership, doubling-down on BS, etc. A tremendous lack of attention to detail. After making it clear, this needed to be done correctly, he primed and painted the bottom of each board.
At this point, I'd had enough of his shenanigans.
No customer should deal with this number of issues with a contractor. However, after speaking with other local contractors in the area, a good majority of them confirmed the same. One builder I know said: "Sounds like you had a young guy who is inexperienced at doing that kind of work or just didn't care." While another GC, after reviewing the situation, said: "Guy got in over his head on both the scope of the project and cost, and tried to nickel-and-dime you for every cost, and cut corners just to wrap it up."
I should have taken more care to research his actual carpentry skills, which often differs quite considerably when compared to woodworking (i.e., building tables, etc.).
Is Alexander Mahoney a nice guy? Sure. Would I hire him for carpentry work or home renovations again? Absolutely not.
Meanwhile, I'm waiting on a refund from another job/invoice he never started or completed due to materials unavailability. Obviously, I've decided to move forward in a different direction with a professional Raleigh-based carpenter.
Business:
Alexander Home & Carpentry — Raleigh, NC
Alexander Home And Carpentry — Raleigh, NC
Described as: Fine handcrafted custom furniture, trim and home renovations. Instagram @alexanderhomeandcarpentry.
Note: After speaking with a design/build firm owner in the area, he confirmed the issue at hand eloquently: " it seems what was most sorely lacking was good project management. Not all carpenters are good at that, and that's why project managers and superintendents exist, they provide a different service to the client." It's a fair assessment of the situation.
Note: On item 7, the scope included painting and priming so it's only reasonable to expect a carpenter not to skip the step of filling nail/screw holes. However, he did not communicate this up-front (i.e., finishing not included). On principle alone, I was unsatisfied with this deliverable.
Note: This review is for Alexander Home And Carpentry, based in Raleigh, NC 27610. After speaking with another contractor in the area and sharing these notes, his response aligned with my initial thoughts, "Sounds like he didn’t care enough." It's a shame really.
My experience with Alexander was completely different! He did an excellent job at communicating his plans with us. It was also written in the contract that up charges may apply. Any other service I have gone to (hair salon, nail salon car detailing have the same type of contract. It’s pretty obvious to me that up-charges may occur(especially during Covid) its common sense, we can’t control when companies decide to change their price. ) If it was a concern to the customer then they should not have even thought about doing a project during a pandemic.
I also would never except someone to do outdoor work when it is cold and rainy, that is just rude and uncalled for and also a very big safety hazard.
The person leaving this review comes off as someone that wanted to take advantage of a Smaller Business, not pay full price for their work and complains about their water being half empty at a restaurant.
Alexander did an excellent job on our pergola and made sure to clean up every day after. He also worked quickly and efficiently. We are super pleased with what we have a get compliments all the time. We are excited for him to do more work for us in the future!
Alexander Mahoney is an amazing carpenter, an honest man and great craftsman.
every project he has ever done for me has been given quality, creativity and turned out amazing.
This extremely long review makes me sad as he only opened his business last year, and someone who wanted to pay less but expect high end work tore him apart bit by bit. There is always a customer who tries to take advantage of a small business, and new business people. This essay of a review just tore apart a great worker and person and gives the impression they couldnt find a way to get more work for less money out of him.
I second this comment. Zander has done multiple projects for me as well. He has always been a professional. And his work is high quality. The energy put behind such a negative review only speaks to the essence of the person who wrote it.
Agreed! We had a great experience with Alexander and our Pergola being built. He was very clear and concise with the entire project. Everything was completed promptly despite any weather concerns as well.
I will note that in his contract was very clear in our experience and even mentions the possibility of extra supplies being purchased and the client would be responsible. You would think someone that works in that industry is also well aware of this. Seems like someone that did not want to pay the small business and take advantage of them unfortunately.
We would absolutely work with Alexander again.
2 hearing aids
I had purchased on October 13, 2019 from Zestads Limited. I tried 1 of the hearing aids and didn't care for them. On Paypal, it shows 2 charges 263.95 and 179.00. I ordered them at the same time. I also thought they not worth it and for the price. I was denied because I didn't return one of them 263.95. I wanted to send them back together at the same time the way they were sent to me. I'm still trying to get a refund. I call the credit card yesterday, and they will investigate.
