Timeshare
This company is unresponsive, and unhelpful. I have not been able to genuinely find any help in getting out of my timeshare and so I am submitting this complaint to make others aware of this situation. The way that I have been treated thus far is unfair. If someone has a complaint, then it should be discussed thoroughly with them. The customer is alway...

I recently had a very unpleasant experience with Lisa's from Flagship associated with Boardwalk Resorts previously known as FantaSea. We want to cancel our timeshare, but Lisa denied my request without any explanation or addressing of my concerns. She simply told me that she couldn't cancel our timeshare. When I continued to ask questions, she refused to answer them and instead tried to rearrange payments. She even left me a voicemail later, threatening to send our account to collections if we didn't respond to her within an hour. You would think a company of this magnitude could afford to hire help who actually cared about their customers.
Desired outcome: We want our timeshare canceled and our money refunded.
timeshare ownership
We are seeking assistance with receiving a response from the company, Boardwalk Resorts formerly known as FantaSea, that we own our timeshare with. We are reaching out to you because we cannot seem to get through to any way with the company directly. We have expressed to them that we wish to cancel our timeshare ownership. We have made several attempts to...

Unable to contact “customer care” to make a reservation. After calling three times and each time being on hold for more than 15 minutes, we get disconnected! And yet when we called two of the three resorts directly, the call was answered. Unfortunately, their response was we have to go through “customer care” to make a reservation using our timeshare. So apparently if you’re a paying customer for a reservation, there’s no problem getting through. If you want to use what you already paid for, it’s not happening! “Customer Care” is a huge misnomer!
Desired outcome: A callback so that we can make a reservation. Staff the phone lines appropriately. Train staff so they do not disconnect calls.
marketing scam
I was contacted by some sleazy company in NH (JCS SWAIN ENT) saying that I won a raffle for 4 free plane tickets. The woman literally said "you won.." and referred to my "prize" (later the snotty manager kept insisting that I was never told that I WON anything...except that I was...
I entered to win a car, and instead Flagship sold my personal information to these scammers to get me into their resort to buy a timeshare.
I had a bad feeling about it and did some research. This JCS company is as shady as they can be. Soooo many complaints filed, yet they are still running the same scams. The manager at the marketing office was rude and condescending. I will NEVER stay with Fantasea again, and I am telling everyone i know about this scam
customer service
Called the resort itself. Spoke to a Selese/Celese. Very rude. Tone and attitude was all wrong right from the beginning . I called to ask a question on June 16, 2019 at 11:47pm in reference to a reservation to check-in on June 17, 2019. Yes my question was answered but after speaking with this representative she took me from enthusiasm to an anxiety state...

Same as everyone else, I got the call saying I won 4 round trip tickets and some other things that sounded great. Lady on the phone said I could fly anywhere in the world of my choosing for no min or max amount of time. At first I was super excited and could not believe that I won, but as the conversation continued she said I would not get an email until later because A LOT of people won. Red flag number 1. Second red flag- they were super unorganized. I kept asking probing questions like why'd the contest exist, and her response was that the tropicana hotel made 50 million dollar renovations and they were doing a promotion. I saw online that the Trop did indeed renovate the hotel but there was no mention made whatsoever of a contest. That to me is weird because who wouldn't market the contest as part of the hotel pitch? Biggest red flag of all was when I signed up at the mall it said NOTHING about a free trip. The sign said I was signing up for a $500 macy's gift card or a cash pay out. When I asked her why they didn't mention the trip she said that she doesn't know what they display because they go to so many different malls that they can't keep up with what's being displayed and where. HUH? after all those red flags I neglected to take her advice and book the hotel right away and I am RELIEVED to have done my research.
Falsly rated
This resort was rated 4* for out interval exchange. The photos of the rooms looked modern and clean. When we got here, we were shocked. We have used our exchange for over ten years and this by far is the worst. The room we were assigned was comparable to a motel 8, it was disguisting. The pipes rattled, the bed creaked, the decore was stuck back in the...

I have been trying to cancel my mortgage agreement since our first trip at Flagship. My husband and I were showed these newly renovated rooms, which were beautiful. We paid for the timeshare based on the fact that we would be placed in these renovated rooms when we book our week. Everytime we book our week, we are placed in old rooms. We have complained to Management, and nothing have been done. They say that the rooms are renovated, but the only thing that have been changed is the fridge and the microwave. The linen, the carpet, the old fixtures are still the same. This is not what we paid for, and Flagship lied about the renovated rooms. We are trying to sell this timeshare. The money we are paying, is surely not worth it.
airline tickets scam
I was contacted via phone by the Flagship Fantasea Resorts in Atlantic City to take a tour of their facilities and in exchange for my time, I get FOUR airline tickets, 2 nights stay at a hotel for a mini vacation, $25 dining card and $20 cash from a casino. I just took the tour this weekend which lasted 3 hours instead of 90 to 120 minutes because they drag their feet and bring over 4 additional people to talk to you.
The biggest fraud is the airline tickets. You have to book your hotel through the same travel agency that you get your "free" airline tickets from. The number of nights you have to stay at these relatively expensive hotels are 7 to 9 nights. So, if I fly from Newark to Honolulu, I have to stay 10 nights and the cheapest hotel is $269. You can find cheaper hotels for the same quality. I asked about this on the phone but they lied and said the required number of nights stay is 3 to 5 nights. So, don't be fooled now that I tell you.
I did get the $25 cash from Tropicano but don't know if the other 2 parts - $25 dining card and 2 nights are scams too. You have send it this and that to claim them so they put you through the ringer to get the "gifts".
I guess when it sounds too good to be true, it's indeed not true.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
ha hah love how these scammers think that nobody in this day and age of internet Google would check on them ...these guys Fantasea " Resorts..etc...have a pretty bad report...i was called on phone after filling out ( i knew then it was a scam) a card at a street fair that touted "" ha ha ha they called many times finally left message claiming i had "already won" ...so called back at (different number 1-800# as per instruction and left message, , Mr Morgan...ha ha ha calls me back starts the spiel...stay over nite he says..."stay overnite" like a mantra of [censored]...so lfinallly i asked if this was pitch for timeshare and he says yes..when i declined, saying already process of dumping my current timeshare..he goes on to say come down listen to their pitch take the tour "stay overnite" ...ha ha ha needless to say when or if they ever get back to me to " confirm" my overnite" i will let them know ...NO THANKS ...buh BYE NOw...Fantasea Flagship Resorts...blub blub going down with all aboard...not me baby
they now call back with yet another # saying trying to reach me to confirm and claim my "overnite...ha ha ha FYI here are the numbers so you can block and delete them from your phone logs...[protected], [protected], [protected]... a scam will always sound too good...best just don't answer call or fill out any "you can win" [censored] anywhere, anytime any how...
It's 2018 and Fantasea Flagship are still up to their old tricks. Let's just say I agreed to all of the breath taking offers over the phone, but after reading all of these unhappy consumer reports, I will NOT be attending any tours or accepting any offers. Thank you, thank you & thank you!
Thank goodness for this website! After numerous voicemails were left by Fantasea/Flagship Resorts telling me I had one an incredible package of gifts, I finally answered and listened to the whole spiel. I won the vacation packages and everything else mentioned in other posts here. I agreed to the meeting at Flagship, but afterwards I did a google search and found tons of reviews from unhappy customers. Thank you for saving me a trip to AC and a waste of my beautiful Sunday.
I received the same call but they wanted me to come to Resorts to "pickup" my gifts. I was excited because I don't make much money, I never win anything, and I was happy at the prospect of taking my lady on a real vacation. As the call progressed, I was getting leery, thinking, "If they are willing to drop $5, 000 on a giveaway, surely they can pony up for the postage to mail the package to my house." But then I thought that maybe Resorts sponsored the package and they wanted to try to make a sale in exchange for the sponsorship, which is fine. But then the woman on the phone said that I have to bring my spouse. I said I'm not legally married. She said that I checked 'engaged' on my entry form, so I have to bring my spouse. I said, "Yes, I am engaged, which means I don't have a spouse, yet." She shifted to the next topic. Then I had to bring a credit card. I don't know why, since I'd be receiving these "gifts, " what difference did it make whether I had a credit card?
I hung up the phone feeling stupid.
Thank you all for sharing your stories. It saved me the effort of finding a baby sitter for my three children and a three hour commute to sit through a presentation of empty promises. For SEO purposes, anything with Resorts contest, Resorts entry free airline tickets is a scam. Save your time.

You can buy a time share here for $500. Need I say more? They have over 3, 000 people trying to sell...should tell you something...RIPOFF
Well it is August of 2017 and this is still going on. My husband and just came form this "presentation." Man it is long and the salespeople are tough. I haven't looked at the so called" free" gifts yet but after reading some of these reviews I am prepared to find out that nothing is "free." These "timeshares" are very expensive. They quoted us a price of around $23, 000. Payable at 17% interest in 7 years. You pay a yearly maintenance fee of I want to say $500+ They will promise you the world, the best accommodations, the best of everything, excellent discounts, Rome for $189 a week staying in a villa at super discounted airline fees, but once you say no the "deal breaker guy gets nasty. You talk to 3-4 different "car salesman" and it gets old and it gets annoying and it gets tiring. but once you say no, suddenly the price drops by 50%. That is a red flag. In addition, the Flagship is an outdated hotel. They show you one room that has been redone and the view is stunning. The remodeled room beautiful. I wonder how many people can always secure the ocean view side? What do the rest of the rooms look like? The rest of the "hotel" has worn out rugs and the hallways are not in good shape. The people are not upscale at all and honestly I have no idea how any of them can afford this timeshare. Unless you have money to burn and lots of time walk away. Don't waste your time going, don't waste your time with these people.
we also just received a invite.
What is the name of the travel agency with all those restrictions ? I would like to call them on a short trip to see if they are legit
I also got "the call" and while I was was speaking to the representative, warning bells were alarming in my head and so I googled "fantasea scam". The link took me here right away. Thank you for your honest opinion guys!
Hey thanks a lot for the information, we also got a call from the same people and they said the same gifts, we have been to atlantic city 3 months back and we signed up for some car lucky draw .They have appointed a day for the tour today, but after reading this, not going at all...you saved my time.:-)
To hardworking citizen, i'd get the tow truck driver on speed dial!
They are still at it after all these years though ... Called me a couple weeks ago and told me that i won 4 tickets for airfare at a mets game. After reading the email i immediately knew this was timeshare smh

I too rec'd this free gas promotion as a come on. Sent in the fee and have rec'd nothing. The companies should be made to stop using this phoney promotion.
