I had logged a Matter with the National Bargaining council in December 2013 and to date the matter is not resolved!
I had been in contact with Lulu Malatji of the JoBurg National Bargaining Council for the Clothing and Textile Industry and the matter is just not going! Please HELP!

My claim was approved on 12/08/2019 and i paid the requested excess on 16/09/2019 and also submitted all info requested including adress to ship the phone to. Natasha C and Kaylan de Jong handled my claim and to date there's no correspondence from them. I phoned and emailed numerous times and every time I am told about waiting for a supplier nd where other agents tell me a different story. I don't have a phone at this moment and I am left with no hope or confidence in their your services. I will be taking this further and hope I get a better correspondence

After several delays where they wanted to ask why i blacklisted the phone twice before (I had lost it but DID NOT CLAIM since i recovered it) 2 ladies one called kaylin de jongh and another Karabo Lebogo are competing to give me conflicting requests which i have in my email. I manage to satisfy both of them and send them all the documents they needed. Now i have sent 4 follow up emails asking if they still need anything as i haven't heard anything and they completely decide to IGNORE MORE. I am horrified, i don even know whats going on now

My iPhone X 256gb is broken sent in a claim and they advised that I can take a refurbished phone with excess of R700 or choose new device with 15% excess fee. I chose the new device. However I can't choose the iPhone X as it is discontinued but they only allow me to choose the iPhone 11 and not the iPhone 11 pro. The value of my claim is R25 000 but the cost of the iPhone 11 is R19000. They are refusing that I take the iPhone 11 pro. Now I have to take a phone that is worth less than my original phone, . Have been phoning and emailing but nobody is willing to assist.
Why should we pay the high cost of the insurance if we don't get what we pay for?

Lost my iPhone X on the 2019/08/26. I've been going back and forth with them for a month because they wanted to give me a phone worth R16000 instead of R20000 which is what I'm covered for. Complained to their complaints email multiple times and they kept quiet, escalating me multiple times, till I called requesting a recording of my previous call and thats when one of the agents took me seriously, well so I thought. Its been a month now, I still dont have a phone, I'm paying more than a 1000pm for my device + insurance. I dont even have a device yet but its going to get billed. I was told it will be delivered but still, NO phone. I just called in for the 34th time, to ask where this delivery is and apparently they are offline and I should call the next day. Definitely the WORST COMPANY EVER. Dont waste your money here. I definitely regret it.

finrite taking too long to process my claim, rude agents
my phone broke in March and i handed in to Finrite through Telkom. I paid the excess fee of R750.00 which i was never informed of. I took out my contract in 2017 never was i told of that figure. I paid it early September 2019. From then onward it has been a struggled to get my claim processed. every day when i call i am subjected to a different clueless agent who lie to me. they all told me it takes 48 hours to process a new claim from the stockists.

Then at some point i was told they were waiting for me to give them an address so they can deliver. i asked what kind of phone are you delivering? who choose it? till this date all those questions have not been answered. each day i get a new story. i had to cancel my holiday because they're claiming that there will be no one available to receive my device. Which device? Model? colour? who choose that?
No one knows anything. All my emails have not been responded to, to make matters worse today the agent hung up on me. She tried to sell me yet another story another lie and i wasn't having it. Please intervene as i am frustrated to say the least.
How does the excess fee work? How do i know it is the right amount since it is my first time claiming against the insurance.
when will i have my phone back? or atleast a new phone. they dont even bother to answer their phones, all you're to them is a joke.

I have cancelled my insurance since june 2019, for the past 3 months money has still been debited from my account, i called the call centre probably 10 times already and each time they tell me the insurance is cancelled, if its cancelled then how is money still getting debited from my account. Finrite has the most useless phone operators which know absolutely nothing about why this is happening, they cannot provide any reference numbers. Finrite administrators are blatant thieves, i called them today and they told me the insurance was cancelled yesterday, after i have been calling since June. Never in my life have i receieved such pathetic service, now they say i need to submit documents to get credited, why should I do all the work after finrite has been robbing me, they know how much they are debiting from my account, its basically 3 months payments whic i'm demanding to get back. I will continue to bad mouth Finirite administrators on every single website i can find my hands on, Hello Peter, Twitter, Facebook, Google, whatever site i can find i will complain about Finrite. Absolutely pathetic service.

vodacom cell phone insurance
I have a cell contract that was suspended in May 2019.
Finrite keep on invoicing the account for insurance, the policies I get from the contract ALL indicate after 2 months of non payment the contact will be cancelled.
I'm tiered of calling the call center. I'm tiered of sending them e-mail as they DO NOT RESPOND BACK.
I have sent them the proof of the statement as from Vodacom, I called vodacom accounts 13 June 2019 to make a payment agreement to them and they gave me the outstanding amount and ensured me that the amount will nor change If I keep my part of the agreement of paying it over four months.
I wanted to pay the full outstanding part in August and realized that the amount did increase over the period.
I'm refusing to pay the insurance for July and August as the policy state that after 2 months the insurance is cancelled.

I phoned cellsure around March 2019 only to find out they are now Finrite they didnt even notify me of any changes also their bank details has changed also i have been with cellsure for many years and there wasnt any problems. Finrite told me my last payment received was May 2019 but i have been making eft monthly they just said May cant even give you a date i asked the agent to email me the details to send POP im still waiting according to them you need to email monthly pop so that they can allocate it to your acc! And according to them my policy has lasped .no notifications from them to tell you.What nonsense is that! Everytime you call in its a different story .

so on the 2nd od August 2019, i lost my phone that i insured with finrite through vodacom. i went to the police station, opened a case and got every paperwork that is needed to claim from insurance. i have never been shocked when the vodacom consultant told me that my claim was not approved because there is a history of changing sim cards on MY PHONE. 1st of all, what is insured here? my cellphone or the sim card? isnt what important here establishing and validating the phone through the imei number? i am very pissed

I submitted a cellphone claim on 3 July 2019 for repairs, I have not received any feedback from Finrite. Every time I call they tell me that they are busy with it. There do not provide me with a fixed timeline of how long it takes for them to repair a cellphone. I am not happy with the service as now this is a 4th week without my phone.
I am very disappointed in the customer service I have received and would not recommend them to anyone to use as insurance as they fail to meet client expectations.

I am not Happy with your Services (Telkom Insurance Finrite Insurance )
I lost my Device (iPhone) and I sent all the required document and my claim was approved,
But I need to pay an Excess of R8 750.00 of which I was not aware of and when I took a policy no one inform me about.
I feel this excess fee is very high and if I knew I wouldn't have take this policy.
And I can't afford it that why I took this cover for my device at the first place because I can't afford this kind of money to even buy a new phone.

i have been paying my cellphone insurance every month and now I lost my phone and claimed for a new one a month ago, now they declined my claim because finrite is saying they did not deduct any money from my account and I dont even know the reason. My phone was stolen on 29 January 2019. I submitted my claim online on 5 February 2019 because no one was answering the Finrite contact line. I received a claim number and have had no response from them despite numerous emails and attempts to try contact them.in addition, Vodacom's excuse is that they cannot get hold of their own insurer either! The service is shocking and unacceptable. I am going to report Finrite to the Ombudsman this week.

My phones were stolen on the 31.01.2019. I went to the police station did my affidavit, phoned the necessary people to get my itc no, visited the stores ect. I submitted my claim. The phone that was insured under edcon, was approved within 48 hours of my submission, however, the claim submitted to vodacom - finrite insurance has not been approved due to a technicality on the phone that has already been approved?

vodacom insurance claim
My insurance cover is r5000 but vodacom is restricting me to a phone that I do not want that is roughly r1 900 samsung grand prime. They say that is the amount my lost phone was valued at when the phone was discontinued and was replaced by the r1 900 phone.
When I previously claimed they said if I go over the r5 000 insurance cover then I would pay for the extra amount on top of the excess amount. When I got my phone from vodacom, samsung grand neo it was over r3 500 and the phone I had before that was of lesser value than the grand neo and a way different make. I still got my grand neo a higher price than the previous phone.
My question is why am I paying insurance if i'm going to be restricted.in time this phone they want give me is going to be discontinued and the value of it is going to drop even more.
