Right CV axle, alternator and tires
On 3/10/20 I brought my vehicle to Wheelworks store 117331 for a Right CV axle replacement cost $495.19 plus tax. The part was not an OEM part and cause severe vibration in the vehicle on inclines and upon acceleration. I was advised by a Hyundai dealership Right CV axle was loose and was believed to be the cause of the problem. On 4/11/22 I went to Firestone store 903192 to have the Right CV axle repaired under warranty and was charged $161.00 plus tax for labor. It came to my attention that Firestone is using after-market parts to repair the drive shaft which never resolved the vibration issue. It also cause feathering on the two front Bridgestone tires that only had 15,000 mile on them and were purchased from Firestone in August 2019. The tires were replaced at store 903192 at the cost of $297.22.
Finally, I took the vehicle to a Hyundai dealership, Grayson Hyundai 8729 Kingston Pike, Knoxville TN [protected] and had the axle replaced with manufacturer parts which resolved the issue at another cost to me.
The total cost at your stores is $953.41 which I should be reimbursed for since the parts used were not from the manufacturer.
2. The alternator was replaced at your store on 7/23/20 store 029734
On 6/1/22 while driving on rte 75N your alternator quit working and I had to tow my vehicle to a service station to have it repaired at the cost of $386.94. Your parts are obviously substandard
Desired outcome: I would like to be reimbursed $1340.35 for the costs incurred at your stores and to fix the issues.I have used Firestone for lifetime alignments on all 3 of my cars as well as tire purchases throughout the years.

(08/05/22) I scheduled an appointment for this days earlier in the week. When I arrived on time, I was told that I did not have an appointment, or my name was not in the system for any service. I did not receive any call about cancellation but an email for the appointment schedule. I stay about 30 miles from this service center. I took off the morning from work and this was really frustrating and not considerate of any customer.
Really
Karl
Desired outcome: I can't get time back sorry!!
car repair Firestone Aurora Colorado 4535 N. Tower Rd 80249
My car was towed to Firestone on 6/11 at 4535 N. Tower Rd Aurora, CO 80249 since the car would not start. I was later called that day to let me know since the car had a breathalyzer installed, I would have to come in and blow even though the mechanics have authorization to call the 800 number given to Firestone, but did not want to do until I came into the store. I had to use a code and Firestone then worked on the car calling the 800 number which could have been done in the first place. Once Firestone called to let me know the car was ready for pick up I had to have it towed to the place for my normal recalibration for the breathalyzer and could not used the same code for the month to start vehicle. Once towed to place for recalibration the car did not start. I paid $432.48 and my car has not been able to start since 6/14. The car is being worked on by the mechanics that do the recalibration for my car on a monthly basis. There was wiring involved which Firestone explained they had to fix for the battery but now I have to pay $1500 to resolve the issue. I still do not have my car since 6/14 since the mechanics just now diagnosed and found the problem and it will be another 6-8 weeks for the part to arrive.
Desired outcome: Would like to be reimbursed monies paid to Firestone since they did not use the mechanical phone to override breathalyzer
Rear brake work
Took my vehicle in to the Firestone at 5657 Wendy Bagwell Pwky in Hiram to have rear brakes July 6th. Approved almost $800 worth of work, told them I was in no hurray, just needed it before mid August. I was told “I’ll have it done by 5pm today”. (Direct quote from Andrew the service manager). Asked for and was promised a printout of the estimate either by email, text or however and again stressed that I was in no hurry, never received. Then they call me at 5pm to say they couldn't find parts for a Honda Passport and the service manager was going on vacation the next day and the technician working on it was off the next day as well so I could try to find my own parts or come pick it up. Wow.
I couldn’t find the parts but then again, I wasn’t on their payroll, lol.
So I say I'll come pick it up.
No effort by a company that has stores all over the US who one would assume has access to parts reps to help find parts for fairly popular vehicle.
I took it elsewhere and found out that the people Firestone clamped the brake hose to the rear brakes, yes that’s right, CLAMPED THE BRAKE HOSE TO THE REAR BRAKES, didn't bother to tell me and let me drive it home this way. For anyone who doesn’t know, this s NOT SAFE!
Now, no other shop wants to even look at it because there's no way of knowing what else they did!
Andrew the service manager(?) couldn’t care less since his vacation was starting and Cedric the manager had no clue what was going on. They didn’t even know which key was mine when I picked it up.
Complained to corporate 800 number and promised a call from manager within 48 hours but they evidently can't be bothered to call since 28th of July.
If you value safety, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!
Firestone Luke AFB
Why is the manager not working the online request schedule? This is the 4th time in a year. Last week, the manager told me he just did not have time to look at the schedule when I showed up for the appt. I was not told otherwise, so I naturally assumed my appt. was still valid. It appears no one is still not working the online scheduling, because I put in another request and still no email or call. Replaced my radiator and said it was good to go. However, the engine is still overheating. Also, they charged me 20 more dollars than what I owed. Let's see if they call me back. The trend also includes their overall attitude toward military members. As I was standing there watching the manager interact with customers, he demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism and courtesy. Trends will always be the largest signal that something is wrong and heading in the wrong direction. I am contacting the Luke AFB Base Commander about this and some other things that are showing a negative trend, not a one time situation.

Service Manager:
I had my car service today and your service manager Keith McCray attitude was VERY unfriendly. His Personity was very unprofessional. He was very sort with me and my wife. This service center has the worse serve managers in the pass. And I see nothing has changed. I have been a regular customer for a long time with this service center. And now I going to take my business else were. I would give this Firestone only 1 star. Firestone can do better.

Poor Service
I am an active duty service member stationed on Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Before departing the base on 1 July 2022, my oil pressure light came on. I drove to the Firestone on base (all other mechanics in the area are blacklisted and we are supposed to be able to trust the services provided on base) and had the mechanics at Firestone run an oil pressure check. They concluded that the cause of an oil pressure leak would be from leaking valve cover seals. $600 later, the seals were fixed and I was ensured that I would make it across the country to my next duty station. 1 hour away from Camp Lejeune, at 70mph I lost complete power to my engine. I was stranded for about an hour while waiting for a tow back to base ($500 for a tow). After dropping my vehicle off again at Firestone, and completing another oil pressure check, Firestone could not figure out the issue of why I lost complete power. I enquired on how they completed the oil pressure check and was told "We let the motor idle for 3 hours and could not find an issue on why you lost complete power or oil pressure". This is not how you conduct a proper oil pressure check, you need to put the engine under stress, not let it idle for 3 hours. After a poor job at Firestone, I decided to get a second opinion with a mechanic off base.
This mechanic off base ran a proper oil pressure check and at 3,000rpms I was losing oil pressure. The other mechanic inquired about the services I had done at Firestone and concluded that my valve cover seals were not even replaced! Also, if the procedure was done properly they would have noticed engine sludge. This not only cost me $600 for faulty seals, but $500 for a tow, $6,000 for a new vehicle so I can get to my next duty station, but also 13 days of my leave because I physically could not depart. Will be seeking out an attorney.
Absolutely unacceptable service, especially for active duty service members.
I took my Jeep commander in for an Alternator replacement.
I took my 2010 Jeep commander in because the battery light was on. It had stopped running on Friday july 15,2022. I had the vehicle towed into the shop on July 16,2022 to Firestone Auto care at 9035 N. Florida Ave. Tampa Fl. 33604.The vehicle was in the shop until July 19, 2022.I went to pickup the vehicle, because they called me and said it was ready and fixed. They told me that in order to get the vehicle I needed to pay my deductible of $250,plus $73. I have a vehicle service plan with Member's Choice thru Suncoast credit union. I paid them the $323.Took the vehicle and headed home the battery light came on again before I could get back home less than 3 miles. I called back and the service manager said he thought it was ready because it was in the ready document case on the wall. He said I could bring it back , but refused and told him I was taking it to some other shop.July 21, 2022, They still have not called and canceled the work order with Members Choice. My vehicle is in the shop at Jerry uml Dodge. I'm still waiting at this time.
Desired outcome: Call Members Chioce and canceled the work order so,the new repair shop can do the job.
Went in for new brakes. Got it back with more problems.
In July of 2021 my passenger side front brake seized up. I left my car with trust at the Lake Zurich, IL location $1000 later they "fixed" it. When I picked my car up it had more gas then when I left it. And the check engine light came on while leaving the parking lot. I filed a complaint and never heard back. 2 weeks later I was driving in another town making deliveries and my brakes totally seized. Went to Algonquin , IL Firestone and they fixed the issue that the other one messed up. I have not heard anything in a year about my check engine light. It didn't have these problems when I took it in originally I think they put bad gas in my car... I have emissions coming soon and they have yet to resolve this issue. They weren't even supposed to touch my engine it was a brake issue! I want it fixed or I'm suing!
Desired outcome: Fix my emissions code that wasn't there until it was in their hands!
On line appointment schedule
As a previous user of Firestone, I was attempting to schedule a repair at my local Firestone location in Overland Park, KS. After going through the on-line web base appointment I was provided an Email that confirmed my appointment date and time. After about 15 min I received a call from the repair shop to tell me that all appointment were taken and it would be at least a week out before I could get service. I selected a different location and received an Email that confirmed the appointment at 8AM on 7-18-22 (see below)

Your on line schedule is useless and very misleading to customers who make plans based on what is sent back that confirms the service appointment. If you cannot trust the on line schedule then why have it if every time you are told the service time requested is not available.
Desired outcome: Response requested.
The Firestone located on Luke AFB AZ, does not EVER, call or email to confirm the appt. The manager told me last week that he has not had time to look at the requests for appt's. I scheduled a repair for August and still no response from Luke Afb. Does it take them weeks to rectify the schedule? No, it is never rectified because they do not rectify.
Parking on sidewalk
Address: 1221 Veterans Pkwy, Columbus, GA 31901, United States
Phone: +[protected]
The Firestone business (address above) has been a pain in the [censored] for many month now. They park vehicles directly on the sidewalk. At times 4-5 vehicles blocking the entire sidewalk and no one is able to get by. You can't push a stroller or wheelchair by on the city green space next to the sidewalk because there are also vehicles parked. The city put cones up 6 month ago and then towing sign. YET this business doesn't give a crap about it. Stop parking on the sidewalk. The manager give sorry [censored] excuses but this happens almost every day, including Sundays when church service is!
Fix it!
Desired outcome: Stop parking on the sidewalk so people can get by!
Service
My car has been in shop since April. Can t find parts. Should never have taken fuel pump apart with out replacement parts in store. Now no one has the part. I have 3 times asked for a regional/district manager to call me. Has not happened. I have called around country. Found the parts. Told my store. Well they don’t buy parts from that vendor so. Sorry. I offered to purchase parts and Firestone install. They declined. Management a joke here. Got the district manager phone. Straight to VM. It’s full. What are these guys doing?
Desired outcome: Need my parts found. Car fixed. Need it. Or you can start paying for a rental.
Tire replacement
In January of 2022 I brought my car into Firestone in Mount Dora Florida to repair my air conditioning system. I was told at that time I needed 2 new tires. I made an appointment for February 11, 2022 for the tire replacement. I had arrived at 2:15 for my 2:30 appointment. My car was driven into a bay. At 3:30 p.m. my car was still untouched. I found...

Firestone Auto 2005 Tustin Ave Santa Ana CA
Invoice #136796 Salesman Joseph and Auto Tech Ricardo. July 7th 2022. My name is James Atkinson and I took my Toyota Camry to have a simple tune-up and I was overcharged for repairs on my car that didn't need to be done. For example I was charged $64.00 for replacement of my license plate lightbulbs. I was also charged for belts and labor.
Desired outcome: I want some of my labor cost refunded. $717.00
Differential service
I brought my vehicle to Firestone Store #679542 for several services to be performed including tires, brakes, alignment, belt, fluid flushes, etc. While I won't get into the delays that caused the vehicle to remain on site for 3 full business days, I will talk about an issue upon leaving the store. One of the services I requested was a differential service. I drove away and started hearing a rubbing sound coming from my rear axle. Vehicle was brought to the local dealership where I was told today that the wrong type of oil was installed during my differential service (with no friction additive as required by the manufacturer). This has 100% caused a repair exceeding $1700 and loss of use of my vehicle. The dealership recommended that I follow up with Firestone on this. So, I called Wayne, store manager in beaumont. He said he would contact the dealer because he felt like they used the proper oil even though the dealer said they tested it and it was the reason for failure of the parts. Now, all I know is that I did not have any problem before I took it to Firestone and the vehicle went directly to dealer and now there is a $1700 repair bill and obviously I did not request that the wrong lubricant be put into my vehicle so I fully expect Firestone to be held liable to cover this repair and refund the service fee charged for doing the incorrect service to my vehicle. I did not receive a return call from Dwayne or anyone else from Firestone regarding this today after the initial call. So far, I have been nothing but understanding and nice throughout several issues for the services they performed on my vehicle between 6/29/22 and 7/1/22 but I do expect a resolution for this. Jason Frasier [protected] [protected]@msn.com
Desired outcome: Firestone to pay damages and refund amount paid for incorrect service done to vehicle; and an apology would be a good gesture as well.
Kinsel Ford Dealer has now also tried to discuss issue with the local Firestone branch to let them know the oil was tested and was incorrect. Firestone rep stated they did nothing wrong and hung up on Kinsel Ford. I picked up vehicle yesterday after paying the $1808.73 repair bill caused by the incorrect fluid installed by Firestone. Still have not received any callback or response after 2 attempts to reach Firestone directly and speaking with Dwayne once. So far I remain an unhappy customer and I do expect Firestone to cover the damages caused by their staff not doing the exchange correctly.
Rip off. Scam.
7/5/22, Invoice # 198366, Store #325545
My Vehicle took to very long to have oil change done Approximately 4 hours when originally quoted 3:30 Hours. I mentioned i couldn't wait. I was advised they would put it back together. Took it home and it was leaking oil by the next morning oil was completely gone. Not sure if this has caused permanent damage to my vehicle. But i am very upset with this location.
My Phone number is [protected]
Desired outcome: Would like some type of compensation for me spending on having my car towed to a shop and having them re do oil change. Also need to check for any damage to engine
negligent servicing
On 6/16/22, my 2006 Volvo would not turn on, after I went shopping at 306N W Plaza Real, Boca Raton, Fl, about 14 miles south of my home. I had the car towed to my home, and had a licensed mechanic, Matt, check it. He made a small adjustment to some "sensors" and recommended a tune-up. So, on 6/17/22 12:25 PM, I took it to Firestone for them to diagnose the problem (5190 W Atlantic Ave Delray Beach, Fl. (Store #025100)
My daughter and I picked up the Volvo at 6:35 PM Friday, 6/17/22.

PLEASE NOTE OUR ADDRESS WAS NOT UPDATED ON THE INVOICE (even though we have been living here in Delray Beach for 3 years)
The next day, 6/18/22 10:30 AM, I decided to visit my son in Pembroke Pines, and took I-95 South. The car stopped responding to the gas pedal, and I was able to roll over to the right side of the road. I then called my USAA roadside assistance. However, Diaz Roadside Assistance just happened to be "patrolling" that area (it was just before Exit 33 South on I-95) and they towed the car and brought me home. I arrived home about 1:30 PM 6/18/22.
Tuesday, 6/21/22, a licensed Mechanic, Matt [protected]) came to examine the car, and noticed right away that there was no engine coolant and that the engine seals were all melted. Matt noticed that "the hose to the coolant was not re-attached properly and that allowed the coolant to dry up," thus causing the mishap while I was driving.
So, it appears that Firestone forgot to replace the hose to the coolant, and that resulted in the car now being totally useless. Additionally, due to their "alleged" negligence, I, a 77 year old woman, was put into an extremely dangerous, life-threatening situation, given that the car stopped responding on a very busy I-95, with huge amount of traffic going at 60-70 mph. Very frightening, and totally due to Firestone's incompetence. It appears that the mechanics at Firestone in Delray Beach were incompetent, since their negligence caused me to be in a near-death experience on I-95, I think $25,000 would be a suitable settlement.
Desired outcome: Since their negligence and incompetence at the Delray Beach Firestone caused me to be in a near-death experience on I-95, I think $25,000 would be a suitable settlement.
hub cap
I took my car in to firestone on Belmont Ave. Liberty Ohio on June 29 2022, to have an oil change and tire rotation. When I left firestone after work was done there was all this rattling loud noise which was'nt there when I took my car in. I went back to firestone only to be told a big lie. Whoever worked on my car pried hub cap off and broke a chunk of metal out of it. I have picture but having problem uploading to this message. Fireston people tried to tell me I scraped my hub cup which is not true at all my hub cap was perfect, no scratches were on my hub. my hubcap was not broken when I took in. Can you please send me an email address so I can send you a pictue showing how it was pried off?
Desired outcome: replace my hub cap.
