checking account
Here is my story.I've been with First Premier for 4 years. My account has gone negative 4 times in 4 years. 2 were transactions that they paid (and charged me hefty fees for, but they paid the merchant so I willingly paid the fees) The other 2 times, the account had a small positive balance, a check for less than $20 both times, was presented for payment. They declined but still charged me $35 OD fee plus $5/day for each day in the negative. Then merchant submits the check a 2nd time to bank for payment and I'm charged another $35 OD fee and still $5/day PLUS merchant will charge a fee plus the cost of the check. Sitting at a total of $164 for $19.26 check. I had $1.09 in checking account. A check written by me to a retail grocery store. The check was written for $19.26. When the check reached the bank, the bank DECLINED TO PAY and sent it back, but still charged me an Overdraft fee of $35 PLUS $5/DAY which PUT the account into the negative. The bank sent the check back to retailer. The retailer then presented the check a 2nd time, requesting payment, and again, the bank DECLINED to pay and charged me a 2nd $35 fee. So now, I've been charged (2) $35 fees, $5/day and the original retailer is charging me the cost of original check, plus their own fee of $40 (understandably so). But can the bank soak me like that on a check they didn't pay, TWICE? Is this even legal since they declined to pay to begin with? And they refuse to shut down my account so that I can at least get caught up and not continue to rack up $5 daily fee. THEY ARE LITTERALLY KILLING ME with fees. I feel like I'm standing in front of a firing squad and there is nothing I can do.

employee's
I was in line at a local market and was treated very RUDE by a Premier Bankcard employee, She was even wearing their logo on her shirt. I believe that if you are representing a company by wearing their logo you should act in a pleasant manner. As she proceeded to swear at me, I noticed her debit card ( Amanda Csobor) if this is how she acts in public, I cant image the way she would act at work. Premier Bankcard this looks very bad on you for employing such a fowled mouth woman.
first premier credit card
A family member who is now deceased got a card in my name, when I found out she was ill and dying. I called the company and talked to a representative and told them what had happened and about all these fees that she had been assessed with because I was trying to pay them because it was hurting my credit.I finally stopped paying because the different fees kept the balance increasing. When it ended up on my credit file I talked to a representative and agreed to pay 85.00 because according to my calculation that was all owed and they agreed to take it off my credit and they did not. This company is a rip off. I asked them to remove it from my credit because I am thinking about trying to get in senior citizen housing again. I realized that I could never pay them off because there is always some fee or charge. I had already had this same kind of encounter with first progress with a prepaid card and did not need to negatives on my account. All I want is to remove this from my credit,
Got approved for a credit card
My name is anguess Blevins on may 11 2018 applied for a credit card. I got approved but when I was processing the processing fee it pop up that server error had happened and it disconnected me. I figured if I applied again it would find my application and I go forward like nothing happened. It just said I'd applied to may times. I'm very upset getting approved for something then get it taken away do to technical issue. I hope this can be fixed asap. I applied so I could get credit to help my slowly growing business.
The name was added wrong... my name is Angie Blevins
fraudulent activity
I was looking at my bank statement online today, and saw a debit for $600.00 from "fpb cr card vru." I had no idea what it was, so I called my bank to inquire about the transaction. I was told it was First Premier Bank. I have 2 credit cards with them and have always paid before the due dates, sometimes 2 payments a months. I have never been late. I had $50 available on the card ending in 1669 on Tuesday 3/27, my credit limit is $650. I have disputed this $600 payment with my bank's fraud department this evening (3/31). I called First Premier to check my balance and try to speak to a live person and the message stated my last payment of $600 was posted leaving me with a $137 balance, this is impossible. It even said my mail was returned to them, I get my statements on line. I have lived at the same address for 6 years. I have never received a phone call from them which is very unprofessional. I am requesting a full refund of this payment immediately so I can pay my bills. I am a 63 year old with a heart condition and live Pacheco to Pacheco. Respectfully, Arta Impliazzo
unauthorized charges
I have had an ongoing issue with First Premier due to several unauthorized charges they allowed to go through and now want me to be responsible for. I have submitted numerous responses and complaints to First Premier and they keep sending letters stating I am responsible for charges I know nothing of. When I became aware of the situation and saw how unprofessional First Premier was I immediately closed my account with them and have been disputed charges for months. They fail to take responsibility that my information was compromised and the charges have nothing to do with me.
statements not received
I called the customer service for first premier bank and told them that I was need statements for tax purposes, and they stated that it was 3.00 per page which I feel there taking customers money even when the customers don't get the statement in the mail. It's not our fault if we don't receive the statements I understand it's not the company's fault because they send them out but if the customer says they didn't receive the statements then they should take ownership and send the statements. I don't feel like sending the statements out is breaking the bank. Every other credit card don't charge so it's wrong to be charging customers 3.00 per page. I will from now on keep calling them if I don't receive a statement but seriously I understand they have it in there terms and conditions and that is how they get away with statements but still they need to make sure that their customers are getting the statement and not saying we sent the statement so its on you type of thing. FIRST PREMIER BANK is not a great credit card company if they can't help, and help take responsible as well to help the customers. Customers should come first and always be there to help the customer. I feel that credit card company like this is not worth having if they are not in it for their customers. There just in it for them making money anyway they can. FIRST PREMIER BANK don't care about your needs.
credit card
I had a credit card with first premier bank and on jan 18, 2018 I got a call from the bank collection department that I have a overdue balance of $814 and I told them that I shall pay in full next day and she said if you pay me in full I will give you $ 100 bonus. On jan 19th I called the bank, and I asked for my disputed charges from microsoft and the bank refused to adjust those charges and I was mad and I said I am tired of you guys and I don't need your services any more so I need to close this account today itself. So I asked for the final balance and she said that $ 694.85 as they refunded me the annual fee of $ 79 and as promised $ 100 bonus so I paid the amount on the same day. And I got a confirmation mail from the bank that account is close. After two days I was just sitting on my microsoft account and called them and after few hours of confrontation they issued me a credit of $ 143.94 but back to my closed account. I called the first premier bank and explained the same and the lady said the day we receive the money we will send you the cheque back. And today when I called them they are just paying me $43.94 as now they are not giving me the $ 100 bonus which was promised. I asked them that account was closed on jan 19th and the refund was issued after that. I even asked for the recording for jan 19 when I closed my account. So now they are just cheating with me for $100.
credit card
I was approved for $400...immediately they give a $95 startup fee...and charged the 1st year fee of $100 against the card. Essentially, half of what I'm approved, I have to pay $195 upfront before anything is considered activated and full limit available.
Called customer service for clarification and the rep was "smug" about the whole process during the conversation and the already high 36% charged on the $100 they immediately placed.
I'm completely disappointed and will make sure it's just open long enough to increase my credit rating and close with a $0.00 balance.
Predatory practices seems to be the basis of business and I'm not comfortable giving them access to my banking information due to the high number of fraudulent charge reports I'm consistently reading about.
All payments will be done via gift-cards
Hi Doc.
Appreciate your concerns. The return on the loan are only reflective of the risk being taken. This should be in no way considered predatory.
Gift cards can only be used as payment of they can be used as a debit card. All other gift cards are not accepted.
website and telephone bill pay
I have tried innumerable times month after month to pay my bill online, but cannot access account. I call the telephone number listed and get the same recording I get when dialing the number on the back of my credit card. It is ridiculously time consuming to pay bill by telephone, and then when I throw my hands in the air and decide to put myself through the ridiculous lengthy recorded process, I hear that my payment will not be posted until the following day, causing payment to be late and a fee charged to my accpunt. I am tired of this I am not going to continue to pay late fees because your website will not allow me to access account, and if payment is being made on the date due then it is not o.k. for payment to be listed as late and not processed. It's in your system on date due. If you have a cut off time then payment must be due the day before. Ridiculous.
service
I m very disappointed on the behavior of a supervisor, I have 2 card, and I see tht 1 of cc was charge monthly for a credit protection, the supervisor Juliane was very rude and disrespectful toward me . I dnt know how she got tht position, but they need to review her . It a shame . . I was expecting her to be more professional and efficiency, all cuts should be treated with respect.
credit card
I have 2 accounts with first premier bank, over 2 years and never been late on either account. I went online as I have from day one to process my payment. For some reason your system did not process the payment. I called to see why, so I process a $52 payment which is my normal monthly payment. Then I am told i have to pay an additional $102 before she can waive my late fee? So I ask for a manager to close my accounts, 40 minutes on this call. I am on my lunch break, I have 20 minutes left at this point, she tells me if i keep my account open she will waive the late fee, but only if i keep the account open, I said just cancel my accounts, she then tries to tell me how it will affect my credit score, I advised once again. I want to cancel my accounts, I am very well aware of my credit score, she would not process my request, I tell her once again I don't have time for this, after her arguing I requested another manager and she refused, very poor customer service, I will be filing a complaint on every website I can find against first premier bank til I get a response and my account credited the late fee
loan account
Good day
I did an application in South Africa for an account. The agent here Bryan said that it is approved for R550 000

Please contact me [protected]
I have 6 other customers that also want a loan but we are all sceptic now
they owe me $200.00
On june 1, 2015 someone had call in to first premier bank and gave my information to and they took the $200.00 off my card and on July 14, 2016 of this year they kept the 200.00 and payed the card off and i got a letter in the mail yesterday saying i was not responsible for the account that was open in my name and they owe me a refund check for 200.00 but they dont want to send it to and that is not right.
unauthorized credit card "application" scam
On Nov. 14, 2016, I received an email from First Premier Bank in Sioux Falls, SD, thanking me for submitting an application for a credit card and congratulating me for qualifying for the card. Big problem, however, is that I never applied for any such credit card. Apparently they opened a credit card account in my name without authorization or notice to me.
So far I've emailed, phoned, and sent a certified letter rejecting any such card and demanding that FPB correct my records. Based on their bad internet reputation, it seems like this is how they do business. This reminds me of the Wells Fargo scheme -- create fake accounts for a commission and then run up service charges, etc.
When I called to notify FPB of the problem and complain, I got "Kim A41" and her boss "Kori 7887" -- always a bad sign when a bank can't use their real names. After I complained about the situation, they said they wouldn't do anything until I gave them lots more confidential personal information, like Social Security Number and date of birth. They claimed they already had it, so this was just to check me out in case I was trying to cancel what was supposedly my own card (?) -- they seemed to think I was pulling the old "cancel the account in your own name for the hell of it" scam -- right. Of course, I had an ID number their email included in the email, but they said they couldn't recognize or use their own ID number. (They could also confirm they had my email and phone number, but they don't count that for ID either. I think they want the SSN, DOB, etc. to backfill the fake application with the real data.)
I closed my account with a zero balance. After multiple attempts to talk me into keeping their card (at 36% interest!) they finally closed the account and gave me a closure number. Then they re-opened the account, claiming someone called them saying it was me, and charged $450 in cash to "African Rapid Transfer"! I called them, got a run around and then they had the audacity to post the closed card account on my credit report with the FRAUDULENT charge of $456.10 showing as owed to them! I was furious! I called the Master Card phone number, In the U.S. call 1.800.Mastercard (1.800.627.8372) and finally spoke to someone fluent in English and they opened an investigation. If I don't get satisfaction out of that, I'll be referring this situation to the State Attorney General's office and they'll rue the day they let it get on his desk ;) My advice to anyone would be to stay far away from this company, I suspect the people responsible for the fraudulent charges to my (supposed to have been) CLOSED account work there!
late charges
I have paid early every month. I have bank statements to back me up. they called me the 1st time august 18th to say my payment was late. I told them that I paid it that I like to try to pay my bills early. the guy told me that there were 2 payments in july. I told him that one of the payments is for august but still they charged me late charges.i went ahead and paid September's payment august 28th. then I started getting calls sept 1st and my payment is not due until oct 8th. they left messages a couple of times but all they said was hello hello. (I guess they do not know what an answer machine is). they call my cell phone 1st then my house phone. this is harassment and it wasn't even the 8th of the month. calling me several times a day both on my cell phone and my home phone since the beginning of the month and using blocked call. I finally answered the phone on sept 14th and told them that I am caught up and that my payment is not due until oct 8th. told them what they are doing is harassment and if I have to I will get a lawyer. I paid them early every month and they are trying to screw me over. I have proof that I have paid them early.
It sounds to me like you do not understand your charge account. Paying early on a revolving account does not make your 'monthly' payment. It comes off your principal. If you pay before the cycle date of your account, you are paying principal, your normal payment comes due. They are right: you are paying late even when you think you are paying early. A lawyer will advise you to read your loan agreement.
credit card division
I have an account with this company. While my credit card had an outstanding balance on it I tried to cancel the card because of disputes on the balance. I was not allowed to. BUT during this time, they opened another account under my name WITHOUT my authorization. I called to get information on this UNAUTHORIZED account and they told me I had to prove who I am!
To get information on this account First Premier is requesting some form of identification, my question is why did they not request I.d before opening this unauthorized account. I had an outstanding balance on my previous card why would they issue another one?
rip off/ fees attached caused my balance to go over the limit
I am complaining against the company for filing my account to the credit reporting agency, and I had missed one payment at the time. The collector for the account called, and I spoke to her and told her that I would not pay for all the fees, that have been attached causing my account to go over the limit. They attached maintenance fees, interest fees, late fees, and yearly fees. They have caused my account to be at this moment as I know of at least $179 over the limit. What's the point of offering cusomers a credit line, and then take a yearly fee out before receiving the card in the mail? This company is a scam, they are offering to help rebuild and re-establish credit, but actually they are causing the cosumer to pay more in fees, and then ruining their credit by reporting it to the credit agencies. I spoke to the collector on the 14th of Septemeber of this year, and then found out that she reported to the agency the same day. My minium payment is now over $300 compared to 25-35 dollars in the past. My limit is only $700, what's the point of paying if they have already turned it over to the credit agencies? They have caused unnecessary stress in my life, and when they called they called from an unknown number, they were rude when I inquired about why they had not left messages, and why were they calling from an unknown number. Today the rude man called and said that they would continue to report to the agency, and that when I received the card that it has all the fees included in the brochure. Is there anyone I can talk to get this off my report? They are trying to ruin my credit, it's ironic how they claim to help rebuild credit, but have hidden fees, and report the same day that you tell them that you will be consilidating the funds to another credit card. What are my rights, and can I have this removed offf from my report? It causes your score to go down 65 points! It's rediculous. Please help me find the right resources, to contact if you know of anyone. This rediculous scam has to be put to a stop! We must complain and continue to do what ever it takes to get these people to refund our extra fees, and removed the negative reports. I had paid on time for about a year, and missed one payment and was reported immediately! Give me a break.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I've had to call customer service a handful of times in the year and a half that I've had two cards with fpb. I always get a woman who is rude, not helpful, has a poor attitude, and I've even been hung up on before. They should really hire new staff.
