Food Network Baking championship show

Thanks a lot Food Network! One program I have enjoyed the most and allowed a little relaxation in my life you have now ruined. I enjoy all the baking championship shows and usually watch faithfully but tonight I had to change the challenge on Summer Baking Championship. I am sick and tired of having gay pride month shoved down my throat. Celebrating gay pride month is not necessary. Enough, enough, enough! To each his own. Do what you want in your personal life but stop force feeding me this stuff! Corporate greed is disgusting!

Desired outcome: I want a response! email: [protected]@gmail.com (Mary)

Food Network Ads on Food Network

Please review the policy on the advertisements shown on Food Network.

I was recently having breakfast and watching Pioneer Woman. A commercial came on for a show called Dr. Pimple Popper. Really? I was watching a COOKING show, and all of a sudden I am exposed to the grossest, most ugly commercial I have ever seen. I actually had to run to the bathrooom and toss my breakfast the commercial was visually so gross.

You really need to rethink who is making the decisions on what you're advertising on Food Network. That commercial was one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen, especially on a cooking program. Then I was watching Ciao House on Demand, and there it was again. I just closed my eyes and plugged my ears.

Please, get rid of this commercial.

Sincerely,

John Castillo

Food Network Fan

Desired outcome: Remove the commercial Dr. Pimple Popper from all Food Network platforms.

Food Network Proper Hygiene of male chefs on various Food Network shows

I know the current "fad" for males are mustaches and beards. However, in a kitchen, one must wear a mask to keep the hair dander to be a potential contaminate to the food! It is absolutely disgusting to witness a so-called professional chef who has a beard down to his breastbone and hair pulled back in a ponytail on his head!

Also, when handling food, one must ALWAYS wear protective gloves.

Additionally, when tasting the food, do not use a utensiil for tasting and immediately place it back continuing into the food for stirring around. That is just plain disgusting and vile! Before you have contestants, these culinary schools should implement universal rules of hygiene, especially since COVID. Tell these men to either shave their beards or go into a profession more acceptable of facial hair ---- like a car garage!

Food Network Magazine

I have been a subscriber of the Food Network magazine for years. It was not until I moved almost a year ago and changed my address when the problem began. I have not received a magazine since then! When emailing customer service they just say if I don’t receive the next issue they will extend my subscription. How is that fixing the problem? I need to find out why I am not getting the bi-monthly issues. The address that they sent me is my correct new address. They also suggested I call the post office. What a waste of my time that was. I need some help please!

Desired outcome: I would like someone to look into this and respond back to me. Also, resume my magazines bi-monthly. If not I want a refund.

Food Network Jelly Roll Plan

I received a non-stick jelly roll pan for a gift approx. 2 years ago at Christmas. I loved the pan and always stored it with bubble wrap so there was no direct contact with other pans I have. This week I made a torte and discovered the strangest thing. After we had eaten approximately half of the torte I could see small specks of a gray material loose on the pan. I looked under the crust of the torte and almost threw up! It was covered with gray material all over the curst. I feed this dessert to my 86 year old mother, 2 small grandchildren, my husband, son and myself. I took pictures of the torte crust as well as the pan. I can't believe this would happen. Has there been other issues?

I have searched everywhere on the food network site to find a phone number or email address all which failed to supply one. The phone number I found was for the food network magazine.

I want Food Network to reach out to me with a response.

Thank you.

Desired outcome: I want Food Network to reach out to me with a response.

Food Network Chefs offspring being featured on show

I am an avid food network viewer/ fan. I watch because all all cooks/chefs are people who have devoted their life and work to perfecting their craft. What I don’t wanna see is someone’s offspring posing a season chef and being offered and mingle in as “some of the greats” please stop. I love Guy but now the show seems more focused on his son.. his recipes and his take on food. SMH. Why?

Desired outcome: Either stop or give him his own show so I can know when to change the Chanel.

Food Network Your service sucks!

This us the second f'ing time doing this! Why do I have to sign up to complain about your crappy website?! I can't enter 'name that dish', cause there's no place to enter. None if your email addresses work. What a crackpot company! This has to be long for you to notice it. Your website is crap! Whiever runs it should be fired! None of the user names work, so you just erase it so had to start over, which is exactly what you wanted. Get a better website. And get rid if your phony email addresses. You must be fake

Desired outcome: Get a better website!

Food Network Food Network

These was a gift from my son, he was trusting that FN had a high rating for products they offer but it seems we were both let down. These pots and pans stick to everything! Very highly disappointed in the product and this company. My son spent his hard earned money trying to get us a nice Christmas present. Food Network should be ashamed!

Lot# 0121 on each of the items

Desired outcome: Replaced with “BETTER” Pots and Pans and not the same

Food Network Apretude commercials

These commercials advocate alternative lifestyles - and they are being shown during the family hour. Men kissing or acting romantically is uncomfortable to my children.. My family used to watch the cooking channel for 'safe' family friendly programming. Not any more! The channel I am writing about is 1456 - Cooking.

I'm also tired of the decline of HGTV, tvland, and now the cooking channel. There's nothing appropriate for families with young children! So sad!

Desired outcome: My wish is to eliminate these ads all together - but it's more appropriate to have them air after the 10 or 11 o'clock news - certainly not at 5:30. Isn't there some government agency that reviews medical commercials?

Food Network Cookware sets non stick

We bought the nonstick cookware and everything sticks to it no matter how much oil is used. We have never put it in the dishwasher always hand wash it as recommended. We bought it in a set, in 11/22. So disappointed now we are going to go out and spend more money to get a set that doesn’t stick. We bought from Kohls and no longer have a receipt. 😡😡

Desired outcome: Money to buy a new set that doesn’t stick.

Food Network Grill pan

I used my pre- seasoned cast iron grill pan for the first time to make teriyaki chicken and the sauce burned on the pan despite using ample olive oil and garlic butter. I followed the instructions and used med high heat and liberally coated the pan prior to use. I attempted to boil water and scrape it w/ a wooden spatula. I also attempted scrubbing it w/ coarse salt. The last thing I tried was a cleaner I bought specifically for cast iron for another pan I own. Nothing worked. To say I’m disappointed that it was a $40 pan and I got 1 miserable use out of it is an understatement!

Desired outcome: I would like an explanation as to how this could’ve happened and a replacement or refund. I purchased the pan through Kohl’s.

Hello,

I am sorry to hear of the issues that you are having with your Food Network cookware.

Fortunately, Kohl's stores honors our Food Network Lifetime Warranty so I would like to recommend that you take this item back to your local Kohl's store, explain the situation to the associate, and ask for an exchange or credit. You do not need a receipt."

I did reply to the emails that were sent to me, saying the did not accept this.

I just want an exchange--and do not want it take forever. Thank you! Lori

Food Network Guy Ferio

Why does he stick his finger in foods that are being prepared, its so gross, to see him stick his finger in or take a bite of meet or cheese with his fingers gross

With all the stuff going on in the health issues to see him stick his finger in food with no glove or washing his hands is just not right. I just think he can wait just like everyone to taste the said dish, just hate seeing this action. He is on Food Network and should no better then to touch food being prepared.

Food Network Shows

I’m so tired of the same old people dominating the Food Network shows. You would think there are only five or six personalities in the United States. Surely there are up and coming new chefs that are working hard to make a name for themselves . For goodness sakes give some of these people a chance. You use the same old people with just new show titles. Frankly…if I have to see another show with Alex or Bobby Flag, we’ll I’m just going to flip out! PLEASE find some new, young, interesting talent. WE deserve it!

Desired outcome: Someone listens and makes some changes.

Food Network Host guy fieri

I would like to ask why Guy is on so many shows. I use to watch his DDD and found it f=very informative, interesting and found him to be a good host. Now that he has so many shows on now I find him to be very holier than tho, annoying and just not interesting at all. When he brough his son Hunter into the picture it only got worse. How doe he have so many shows. Does he own the food network of part of it or something? I refuse to watch any more of his show at all.

Food Network Great food truck race

My wife and I used to love watching food truck race but the last three seasons you have ruined it by having these drag Queen wanna be’s on the race . This season june of 2022 you have the three drag queens who wear sequin gowns and turbins on their head , the one guy is a big fat slob who make Mac and cheese which lot of people hate and he tries to act like a woman , he’s not even close to being a woman ! Season before you had that tica masala or whatever Their name was with another drag Queen prancing around the whole time , what does this have to do with food truck ? We quit after three episodes this year , and are done with this show , thanks for ruining it for us with this lewd behavior

Desired outcome: Go back to having ordinary people who worry more about cooking than prancing around and wearing outrageous costumes

Food Network The Great Food Truck Race.

I have a complaint about the great food truck race show that aired 06/26/23 8-9 pm. At 42 minutes left in the show three poorly dressed trans guys are humping each other in the food truck shrieking “twerk”. This is not what I want to watch with my family, and not the type of entertainment I expect to see on a show about food trucks. If your producers/editors are that desperate for any type of ratings and are not cognizant of good television maybe they should explore other fields of work. I have nothing against other lifestyles. Just please no faux sex acts during family tv. It wasn’t funny.

Desired outcome: Clean it up and stop downplaying the intelligence of your audience.
