The frigidaire range model ffeh3054us
I bought the range in September. From the beginning it didn't work correctly. It burned food. An on line chat had me change the factory temperature settings. It still didn't work correctly as described in the owners manuel page #23 under "setting Bake." You sent out a service man on 12/14. He agreed the range doesn't work as described in the owners manuel. The beep does not occur when oven is fully preheated and the temperature readings he took indicated the temperature setting do not match actual temperatures.
I have a summary of the service man's call but I don;t see how to send it to you

I would like to know why 1 single plastic replacement knob cost 60.00 each?
Part # [protected]. (4) knobs are $240.00 before taxes and shipping cost. The mfg not robust. Cheap plastic construction. Additonally- On your Fridigaire website- brand new stove same mod# is 899.00. This means that 4 knobs are 26% of the total value of a brand new mod#. A 1/4 of the cost is knobs? Seriously?
This could be a serious safety issue if someone does not know how to handle a situation where the knob no longer functions and the user has no way to shut the valve off at the source. The post is recessed into the range top. They may not be able to get under the stove to shut off the valve underneath. I am wanting to order all new knobs. I have 1 that is broken and two others that are beginning to wear out after two years. Probably just in time for the warranty to expire, but the cost is tough to stomach
Additionally, the post that the knobs fasten to are recessed, therefore there is no aftermarket replacement that will function for this application.
I also tried checking on the warranty of this unit. I am still on hold. 33 minutes and counting.
I understand the need to be able to supply genuine replacement parts. We all have to make money. I will no longer purchase your products. Your fridge is falling apart as well.

Desired outcome: Knobs that don't fall apart after a couple of years
Refrigerator fresh food compartment light
Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator purchased September 2018. I did not purchase an extended warranty. September 2020 the fresh food compartment light went out. Over the course of the next three months I had three visits from my local appliance repairman who was on the phone with Frigidaire technical support on two of the occasions. The Frigidaire technician finally declared the light was not repairable:

Because I did not purchase the extended warranty, there is nothing further that can be done. The company has told me "tough beans".
The refrigerator is two years old and will probably last another eight years or so. This means I have to live eight years without a light in the fridge.
The product is poorly made, poorly designed if a simple thing like the light cannot be repaired.
I will never, ever buy another Frigidaire product.

Repair men
I was waiting for service for my Upright freezer on Dec.10th. I was told on DEC.4th when the repair men were here that I needed a part, and they would be back. After 3, I decided to call unique repair to see when they were gonna arrive, and I was told that service was cancelled due to an Infestation of Roaches! That wasn't true! So first I Never got a call to say my service was cancelled, and if they saw a roach they should have taken a picture! Anybody can say they saw an infestation, but Proof is in the pictures. I don't have roaches, and I have paid for extended service, and I would like for someone to come service my freezer, so that I may used it. French door refrigerator ice maker
I purchased a Frigidaire French Door refrigerator with ice and water in the door. The ice maker has never worked. I have had service about four times already and I have service scheduled again for next week but I am not hopeful that anything will be any better. The ice maker is in the refrigerator section and the ice melts and freezes together and will not dispense and then it just stops making ice all together. I have read that this is a typical problem so why do they still sell them? I am using the ice machine in the freezer section but I purchased this refrigerator for the ice maker in the door. I am at the end of my rope with this refrigerator. Model LGHB2867PFIA DO NOT BUY.
Gas range
I purchased a gas range stove 1 year and one month ago from Lowe's in Carbondale, il 62901. On November 11 2020, I was preheating my oven when it exploded leaving glass all over my kitchen. Lowe's suggested that I replace the oven door at my expense. After having an appliance specialist look there was a problem with the ignition system in the stove which allowed too much gas into the oven. I had to purchase a new stove at my expense. I am requesting some financial help in resolving this issue. Thank you

Purchased Dec. 1, 2019. Last week the oven kept shutting off every time I opened the door. Today while I was cooking our Thanksgiving dinner I smelt smoke. There was a loud popping sound Ana the fan went on. When I looked at the cooktop I noticed smoke come from behind the oven. It blew out and caused a fire in the 220 line. It is not even a year old. Thankfully it didn't happen late last night after I made desserts. We would have been sleeping. I am very upset.
I am having problems with my oven as well. The convection roast smokes up the house because the fan blows grease all over the inside of the oven. I think it is a fire hazard. They refuse to fix it knowing it is a design defect. Model GCRI3058AFB

Hello I have a frigidaire oven, model number CGEF3042KFC, SERIAL NUMBER VF045452340.
Last night, November 23rd, I turned on my oven to start dinner and the outer glass of my oven door shattered into thousands of pieces of glass. I had glass all over my feet, all over the room. I had my grandkids over for dinner. We were lucky that the kids were not in the kitchen. This is a safety hazard and likely other than my feet no one got hurt. This is unacceptable. I have a Frigidaire Electric Range the second one I've purchased... the model # isLFE3017LBD serial # VF65107264. The 2 panes of glass on oven door has grease splatters inside/in between the panes of glass. This has to be a design flaw of some kind. Obviously air can get in there which concerns me when I use the self cleaning mode... I've dealt with the manufacturer in the past and it's not my favorite thing to do. But again, I must start the process of trying to get a response from them... I'll NEVER buy another Frigidaire product - ever.
Freezer
My freezer is still not fixed-third repair person came on November 5th-new parts ordered, still not here. I am getting very upset at not having a working freezer. I have had to move the food that did not ruin to a rented space. This is getting totally crazy. I don't even have room to purchase a Thanksgiving Turkey. This has been the worst experience for purchasing a new appliance and customer service has been horrible.
Same problem here. Bought the unit in April and it stopped working 4 weeks later. 3 service calls, still doesn't work. Infuriating.
Refrigerator
Under 1 year old fridge. They sent a person 3x to fix it and now a 4th over 2 weeks ago and have no way tp contact them about when they will be back with the same parts the other company fixed. I have bought food 3x thinking it was resolved. Not once has anyone offered to reimburse me let alone actually fix the fridge. If u call frigidaire itself its a automated circle that hangs up at the end. Email can only file 1 complaint cant send a second. Bad service completely. Also tried bbb they only asked state in which this happened. Sad situation would love a fridge for thanksgiving.
Refrigerator broke down at 5 months old
I have a refrigerator purchased in May of this year. Model FFHT1835VWO, Serial Number BA00511860.
On the 10th of November I woke up to the fridge compressor trying to come on but failing to start. The inside of the fridge was already 50 degrees and my freezer items were thawing.
I called the 800 number for service and was set up with a service call (W.O.#8405835501) from NZ Systems (519-652-0518) to repair the fridge. I waited a couple of hours to call them as instructed by the operator. When I did they told me that they rejected the order because they were not covering my area due to Covid.
I called back and was given a new service provider, Windsor Appliance (519-253-4653). I had to wait 2 days for them to come which they did on 11-12. They determined that the fridge needs a new compressor. The service man told me that he could not replace the compressor because Frigidaire wasn't paying enough for him to be able to fill the new type of gas required. He was going to inform Frigidaire.
This morning, 11-13 around 11 a.m; I called Frigidaire to find out what the status is of my repairs. The agent tried to call Windsor Appliance since the status wasn't yet updated but received no answer. The agent said my options were to wait for another service provider which may take at least two days or pay for service on my own and get reimbursed.
I have now been without a fridge for 4 days and looking like another few days to get service. I have thrown out $100 worth of meat, spent $50 on ice for a fridge that is 5 moths old! I have had many Frigidaire appliances over the years but this makes me not want another one. Nobody seems to be in a hurry to care about what happens to customers.

Quit working in August 2020. Called customer service9/1/20. Told to send materials and they would replace. Sent required materials 9/1/20. Reference number [protected].
Didn't hear anything so on 10/2/20 called again. Told it had been shipped via FedEx on 9/25/20. Didn't hear anything so called again 10/9/20. Spoke with Jessica. She said it had not been shipped and don't even use FedEx. She apologized and her mgr told her it would be expedited. Several emails with Jessica but no progress. Was told that shipped through ALMO. Didn't hear anything so called again on 10/21/20 called again spoke with Leesa. Through her mgr I was told it was a problem with ALMO and the mgr had sent an email to ALMO for details. That's the last I heard. Called again today 11/3/2020 and automated service kept hanging up.
I want the dehumidifier replaced immediately as promised and to be informed of shipping tracking info. The customer service of Frigidaire is HORRIBLE!

Purchased freezer in May 2020-already had repairman replace insides Now it is making loud noises and not freezing A repairman came and this time could not fix the freezer. Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator was designed to fail. This Gallery Refrigerator cost over $3, 000. Frigidaire knows of the problem and refused to recall or make amends for said problem. I Frigidaire's design, they installed the "charging liquid" between the Ice Maker and the back wall of the refrigerator. This is causing the back wall to freeze and make an ice ball on the back wall. Which in turn rusts and is deteriorating in that spot. Not to mention the water and rust below it and migrating to the floor. I would like a NEW Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator of equal size with all the bells and whistles that I have now on our defective Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator. This Frigidaire Gallery Refrigerator has a faulty design and I feel Frigidaire owes me a New Gallery Refrigerator.

Oven
Our oven has a digital control panel. We have owned the oven just over a year, and the panel already failed twice. The service technician literally told us, this is a design flaw and WILL keep failing. He said they all do, all the time.
And the service lines are simply not answering. They keep saying to call back some other time.
I regret ever buying this brand.
Built to fail, require continuous service contracts, and deplorable respect for consumers that keep them in business.
Gallery model refrigerator
Unit makes a squeaking sound lasting about 5 minutes; happens several times a day.
Had a repair person out to look at it and called Frigidaire 800 line.
The sound, which can be heard rooms away from unit, is "normal" for Frigidaire refrigerators according to Frigidaire and nothing can be done about it.
Since this is apparently the company's designed-in issue, I would discourage anyone from buying Frigidaire products.

I bought two of these units, one is 2 years old, the other one year old, and both have stopped working due to compressor failure, and these units have never been misused or not taken care of. The warranty advertised is 4 years on the compressor parts of this unit, but Frigidare will not answer their phones and have not responded to emails. They are totally ignoring any customer complaints, and use the Covid19 as an excuse not to answer their phones or respond to emails in order to honor their warranty when their products fail is truly outrageous and unacceptable for an established company that relies on the trust of the customer.
This dehumidifier product was built not to last very long, and is not repairable. It is sealed, no technician can work on it, there are no spare parts, and it is designed to fail and be replaced after just a year or two of use. They want you to buy another unit after just a year or two of use, and after word finally gets out how poor the product is, then they come up with a new models every few years. Do not believe online reviews of how great their products work when the reviewer has just bought the product; it always seem great just after purchase. The online review sites also give five stars all the time to these products, but never tell the truth to the public about how poorly the unit is built so that it does not last. This model turns out to be poorly built and has been discontinued after only a few years on the market, but Frigidare does not honor its warranty promises they advertised for this product. They have simply decided to abandon the consumer and ignore any requests made to refund the customer or replace the unit. Now, Frigidare has put out a new dehumidifier model, and hope that consumers will continue to waste their money and time and energy on bad products. Furthermore, this throw away mentality costs the environment and our trash problems just as much as the costs to society. Frigidare should not be allowed to get away with such shoddy business practices.
Do NOT buy Frigidare products; if you do, get an extended warranty, but be warned; they do NOT honor their warranty. The only recourse for consumers would be a boycott of their products. A class action suit would only enrich lawyers and waste everyone's time and money. I will not buy any Frigidare products regardless if it is made in the US or not.
20 cubic foot freezer
Purchase the product on line from Home Depot on May 01, 2020. Product delivered on June 04. 2020. Upper part of freezer, does not freeze. Called Frigidaire and reported that we need repair, had lost $300 worth of food. Frigidaire scheduled appt. with a repair company (Freddy's) called repair company and they are refusing to come out. Called Frigidaire back got rescheduled with another company (Inman) who also refuses to come out. Now being told we have to wait a week for them to look for someone else. Called and asked them just to come and pick up freezer, they refused. I do not want this heap of junk.
