The spray arm became dislodged during the cycle and has melted on the unit. I called Frigidaire customer service and set up a service call with Rachay then spoke to William the corporate supervisor today [protected]).
I am very dissatisfied with the response - they scheduled a service call which is simply an assessment of the problem for Friday. I have researched online and found that this is a known problem with the orbit clean spray arm.
I asked if they could simply replace it on Friday with the normal spray arm - the best solution I could find online (next to returning the dishwasher to Frigidaire). I was told they could only look on Friday and with the upcoming Memorial Day weekend there's no good estimate of the no. of days this repair will take. My husband and I have several vacation homes in different states (Las Vegas, Nv; Lake Havasu City, Az; Destin, Fl) and have purchase multiple dishwashers. This is the first Frigidaire dishwasher we have ever purchased and the first breakdown of a new dishwasher that we've ever experienced. I am very unhappy with the response time and with buying a new dishwasher that only lasted a few months. We purchased it in September 2016 and just started using it in December after completing a renovation.
I would like to have the spray arm replaced with a normal spray arm as part of the service call this Friday, May 26th. Otherwise, I am considering returning the unit to Frigidaire.

I have a brand new warrantied frigidaire refrigerator that has been leaking profusely, and has now ruined my brand new floors in my newly purchased home we closed on last month. Frigidaire assured me they would have a repair company out two weeks ago, no one has showed and the refrigerator has continued to leak and has now spread to the bedroom, ruining floor there as well. As of today, two weeks later, I still have gotten no service repair or even a follow up scheduling from this company. The corporate manger danielle I spoke with indicated yesterday she still could not give me a repair date and claimed trouble finding a company to work on my appliance. I live in catawba county, a well populated county right outside of charlotte, nc. My floor is continuing to ruin, the molding at the bottom has separated, and we are now worried about issues concerning molding and mildew. I would never recommend giving my business to this company - if something goes wrong they are completely unhelpful and neglectful. The claims department dealing with my ruined floors was also rude and cut me off several times with trying to explain my upset at my first home being slowly ruined by the day.

Refrigerator caught fire a few months out of warranty. Customer service gave a concession for labor on repairs. They politely remind me every time I talk to them that they have extended me a courtesy (not in my opinion). We have an ongoing relationship now. They keep replacing the compressor, over and over again. Thursday they will be putting 4th compressor on this lemon in 5 months! They have robbed me. I'm pretty sure they donnt mass produce burning refrigerators in Sweden, why does our government allow them to rob Americans?

In less than 1 year i have had several problems with frigidare. I just bought my home and unit was only two years old. Blower Motor, Compressor and Leak in copper pipe. Frigidare refused to replace unit and so far it has cost me over 800.00 for a garbage unit. I am disgusted with frigidare and the people you send out to fix this unit that isnt even 3 years old. What kind of parts do you put in these units, refurbished or from a foreign country. Way to take care of your customers. Never again will i buy anything frigidare.

I received no response. I sent a follow up email on 4/17/17 with no response. The text from that email is also enclosed. The lack of acknowledgement is very disappointing. I have attached photos of my leaking and corroded fridge. This unit needs to be replaced.

Over the past 6 years I have purchased a complete set of Frigidaire Gallery appliances for 2 different homes. The second set purchased in April, 2014 was for my current home. We love the look and the design of the appliances and have been most satisfied. When cleaning behind my fridge a few weeks ago I discovered a large rust spot, (about 5 inches wide, photos attached), water leaking down the back with accompanying rust and frost around the hole that had corroded from the inside out through the back of the fridge. I called this in for service as I have an extended warranty from Frigidaire. The service rep came to my house, inspected the hole and rust. He proceeded to call in to Frigidaire to report his findings and determine what was to be done.
He was told there was a ”fix” for this problem. He was to install a back panel to cover up the damage. That’s it, no repair to the cause of the corrosion, no arresting the corrosion, we’re simply to cover it up. The corrosion will continue to eat away at the back of my fridge from behind the panel until either the back lets loose and it floods my kitchen or the warranty runs out. This is simply unacceptable. If the ice maker is broken it gets replaced. If a hinge goes bad it gets replaced. If a motor fails it gets replaced. That is reasonable as the damaged part is replaced and the fridge is repaired. There is no corrective action for the leaking and corrosion in my fridge. The leak is still there and the corrosion will only get worse. You can see it in the attached photos. It looks like another corrosion spot is forming above the one I already have. We can’t just cover this up and pretend that it isn’t there!
I spent a considerable amount of money on these appliances. I had faith in the product as I purchased them for one home and then again when we moved to a new home. Tell me that loyalty is worth something to Frigidaire. The only acceptable action is for Frigidaire to replace my refrigerator with a new unit. I look forward to your reply.

dishwasher delivery and installation
We bought a Frigidaire dishwasher on December 31, 2016. It never worked properly. Frigidaire has agreed to replace it. The dishwasher has been delivered to a facility in MD (near our home). The company designated to deliver and install the dishwasher is AWOL. Calls to numerous people connected to Frigidaire and Electrolux are not returned. Can you say run around?! This is beyond frustrating. What does it take to get some attention and action on this!?!

I bought a Frigidaire French door fridge in May 2016, to this day of April 2017, I have had 8 service calls on my ice maker, with today's visit being my 9th service call because the ice maker stopped producing ice. I have made attempts to call customer service but have been blown off like it isn't their problem to deal with. I wrote to the BBB and it is in rebuttal because every time I have a service call they send me a letter saying that the service place said No follow up needed BUT a week later calls were made to have more service done to my fridge. Still to this day, there are no recalls, their appliances are still being sold and consumers are still being let down! They will not replace your product nor will they give you a refund. Many complaints are circling the consumer websites and they just had a lawsuit civil action for the ice makers that settled in 2/2016. BUYERS BEWARE...

factory authorized repair
I had my air conditioner repaired which began in 9/16 and ended in 12/16 due to factory lag in replacement parts. Yhe a/c unit was useless. I used it twice until 4/1/17 when the weather heated up. It was not any better than in 9/16.
Your service center said it was out of warranty, they could do nothing.
So sad for your loss of a customer. Consumer reports might like this story, as well as the bbb.
I agree, Frigidaire does not stand by their products or warranties, you only get a big run around from the Frigidaire company and the contractors they have service their products.
single wall oven
When I opened the wall oven door to place the baking dish in, the entire front glass both the outer black and inner plain glass exploded a huge bang throwing glass everywhere. Calling Fridgidaire customer service waiting over ten minute for an answer then a further twenty minutes for a supervisor. Explaining what happened, only to be told to call a service person for them to see what happened. I told Mr. William I can see what happened the front of the oven exploded and I can not find on line where to buy a new door After a further twenty minutes the argumentative Mr. William told me the wall oven was old and I did not have an extended warrenty ignoring the danger of the door exploding, said he would e mail the factory and get back to me.
I purchased a frigidaire air conditioner 15, 100 btu unit we installed it in our wall, due to its size after only 4 months of use, we went to turn it on for the 2017 season, NO COLD AIR. So after spending several days on the phone with the people at frigidaire to correct the problem, they magically said it was out of warranty. My handbook and warranty says its covered up to 7 years, but according to the frigidaire repair hot line, the warranty expired without notice. They did say they would send a service repair man to my house at my own expense, but they would not cover the cost. HMMM after reading all the other complaints about frigidaire products and no solutions form the company, we ALL might have a class action law suit. If frigidaire does not want to make it right, we might have to compel them to do the right thing by their products and warranties.

I bought this microwave (E130BM6CPSA) less than a year ago and the handle has fallen off. This has never been abused because there are no children in the house. I looked it up online and to my surprise this has been a common problem with Electolux microwaves for several years. I bought this thinking it was top-of-the-line but now I know better. I really do not expect much in the way of satisfaction from this company because they knowingly put junk on the market for people to purchase. I need to replace all of my appliances and I am not going to buy from Electrolux/Frigidaire. With so much competition why should I support a North American company that knowingly rips me off, I am going to purchase Korean, Japanese or Chinese in the future. I hope this does not fall on deaf ears because the company will be out of business if it cannot compete.

I am very displeased with these products I purchased on Feruary 26, 2016. I have had to have the service man come here three times already for a error message on the oven it read F31. He said he fixed it each time it still does it once in a while but we have figured a way to stop it by unplugging it for a while and plugging it back in. Which you would think no big deal but when you spend money on a brand new product you should not have to figure a way to get it to work properly. Now with the refrigerator we have had to replace the handles twice but low and behold this time I go to order it thinking it will be covered by the warranty I paid EXTRA money for but no! I have to pay $67.00 for ONE handle because it is not covered with the warranty and it was covered the last time because I had only had it a year. I am disappointed that I didn't do the research ahead of time because apparently your products cause people a ton of grief and I haven't seen many remarks where you have made it right and made the customer happy. I am hoping I can post how wonderful the customer service your company gave to me and how I am now pleased. It would be greatly appreciated that you rectify this situation for me for I have enough stress in my life I don't need it from the appliances I purchased BRAND NEW! I would hope you would agree. Thanks for your time. I hope to hear from you soon so I don't have to get the Better Business Bureau involved. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator September 2011 along with three other appliances...in September 2016 my ice maker broke and the freezer stopped working...my insurance ran out the day before...ugh...I called a repair company given to me by your customer service... $500 for parts and repairs...four months later the same thing happened...I called two repair services recommended by your customer service and was told the fridge is shot...I called Frigidaire Corporate office and they told me they would allow 30% off of parts...I explained I did not need parts fridge is beyond repair...said there is nothing they can do...I am 70 yrs of age and do not have another $1500 to lay out for a new fridge...so I am now without one...I would appreciate very much some consideration in replacing this for me...five years is not old...thank you. refrigeration issues - ice-maker not working
I bought a brand new refrigerator (27.19 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator in Stainless Steel ) on June 2nd 2015 (Model# FFHB2740PS, Serial # 4A52013743)) from home depot (order # W370493622 ). My ice maker stopped working and they had the services come on 3/8/2016
On 4/25/2016, the services came in again to fix the issue because the ice maker stopped working.
Because I was so worried that this unit was crap and I shouldn't be having so much issue with it, I decided to buy an extended warranty.
I have had the same issue over 7 times and they refuse to do anything about it. The annoying part is every time I need to have the icemaker repaired, I have to take the day off from work because they will not do the servicing on a weekend. They have repaired the parts 7 times and under their contract, it should be replaced if they have repaired the same part 3 times. Frigidaire / Electrolux is refusing to replace the unit even though there is obviously something wrong with it.
I have tried numerous times to have this issue resolved but their customer service is rude and they just give people the runaround. I have to say, I will never buy a Frigidaire / Electrolux product in my life and I will ensure that everyone I know never buys it again.

My saga with a Frigidaire refrigerator repair began on November 21, 2016 and ended on February 16, 2017. This refrigerator had been used for five months and was still under Manufacturer's warranty. During this time (77 days), I made several phone calls to Customer service (all of which involved telephone call waiting for long periods of time to even speak to someone); had several appointments that were made and cancelled or rescheduled because of various reasons (part not received yet, wrong part ordered, scheduling errors); ensuring myself or someone to be home for the visit which usually had a four hour window attached to it); various other phone calls; and had two different service companies that made eight visits to my home in search of repairing the refrigerator. No one cared that I was inconvenienced for over two months without a refrigerator. I believe this issue could have been resolved much sooner, and without the stress and extra costs I experienced from not having a refrigerator, if a replacement refrigerator was given to me after the first or second attempt at fixing it. As it stands now the refrigerator has several new parts (the compressor was replaced twice) and was obviously defective when I bought it. I have had several Frigidaire products in the past without issue but I can assure you I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ONE NOR WILL I RECOMMEND YOUR PRODUCTS TO ANYONE. Several of my friends and family have already opted to purchase other brands of appliances based on my experience.

I purchased a frigidaire gallery refrigerator for $1, 913.24 in december 10, 2014 model #fghb2866 serial # 4a43324329 from lew white appliance, 934 federal rd brookfield ct 06804. See attached paid invoice.
Freezer on the bottom and ice maker in the refrigerator. A few months later we start noticing water dripping from the ice chute and the ice would come out “wet”. I called the lew white’s store and they told me to call frigidaire directly, since I have a one year warranty on it - they gave me frigidaire’s phone # to call. (I spoke to the owner mr white as well, and I got the same answer).
I contacted frigidaire on 10/1/15, and they scheduled an appointment with j&r appliance repair co. For 10/5/15 from 8am - 12pm. The technician replaced the sealing gasket in the ice maker. The problems continued - he came out again 10/14/15 and tried something else, but that didn’t resolve the issues. We called j&r appliance repair company directly to let him know, and joe told me that he couldn’t do anything else for us, and to please call back frigidaire and ask them to send over another technician from a different repair company that might have a different opinion and may could fix it. I called frigidaire again on 11/2/15 and they scheduled an appointment with cne appliance repair company for 11/5/15 and they came out and replaced the ice maker. Soon after that, it stopped working again. So, since they try to fix it for the fourth time without succeeding, then frigidaire agreed to replace it.
So, finally, frigidaire offered to replace the unit and a new one was delivered december 2, 2015. Model #fghb2866pfea serial # 4a53621062 - see attached delivery documentation.
Now, the second refrigerator started doing the something in november 2016 – water dripping – no ice and makes weird noises. I called frigidaire, they sent out a cne tech, he checked it all out and said that his boss was going to make a report to frigidaire, so they would replace the unit for us again. The tech added, that frigidaire has been having these problems with these refrigerators models since 2014 and that it’s a design issue. He also said that the company has fired 18 engineers because they can’t get it right. The tech also discovered a leak in the rear wall of the refrigerator which is a bad sign, he said. Please see pictures attached.
I also had to purchase a one year extended warranty so that I will be covered in the future. See attached paid receipt. This is totally unacceptable since this is a manufacturing defect, and they want the consumer to insure their defected product…and still selling this to the public without disclosing or correct the problem.
We have been waiting for a new part for over a month, which is on back order, so they say… every time I call frigidaire to check on the part, I ask to speak to a supervisor and they never connected me with one. They are just wasting my time over, and over. They all say the same think like they are “programmed” - they sound just like robots… this is very frustrating, and is affecting my health and my quality of life. I’m looking for my money back, and they can come and get this faulty product out my house, since I cannot trust their product any more. I have to buy the rest of my kitchens appliances it won’t be frigidaire that’s for sure. I am not confident that any repairs or replacement will resolve these issues. I spend my time, energy and have no enjoyment nor full use of my investment. This is very sad that people have got go through something like this.

We moved into a brand new house with a brand new refrigerator. The temperature was not keeping things cool and frigidaire was a nightmare to deal with. We had a repair man come out twice but over a few days to diagnose the issue. When he said it was the cooling board frigidaire made us bring an electrictian out at our own expense to make sure the power outlet was functional. As we knew it was and it was we then had the board replaced but we were without a fridge for 2 weeks, eating out every meal and paid out of pocket the expense of the electrition... not to mention customer service was beyond unhelpful. I will never buy another product and would not recommend to anyone. Just terrible.

Just open the freezer and the left side panel inside the freezer is crack . from no where that crack shows in the left side panel a long crack, unbelievable. What should I do? only have the fridge for a year and a half and its broken. I 've never have a refrigerator that crack the inside panel out of no where, I believe is a factory defect and customer have to be called for a campaign and resolve this matter, I'm thinking really serious in calling a local TV news station friend to do report and people that has the same problem will claim their damages. . please help me out in this .

My high end dryer of only 5 years had a total malfunction! Meaning my machine died on me because of a manufacturing default which they tell me is not their fault! lol
The dryer motor that is supposed to be stationary and is secured by a $5 or so clip, simply wore out! This in turn caused the motor to twist to the right, thereby moving the wiring harness close enough to drum belt. In time the belt wore into the wiring harness and eventually shorted out my dryer!
At first customer service seemed to care and they assured me they thought that something could be done for me! I was promised an answer before the end of the day! A week later and I was calling them because I never heard back! After about an hour of waiting on the phone, I finally got through! The lady was very nice and apologized for no one getting back to me!
Essentially I was told that my problem was no fault of Electrolux as it was out of warranty and an old machine... really? 5 years is an old machine when they should last 10-15 years!
I again explained about their obvious design flaw and the danger in the problem that I experienced and that shorting out 220 wires is not something to take lightly! Even the service tech that I paid for agreed he had not seen that problem and how dangerous it could have been. Electrolux did state they received the report and thanked me for that.
Still there was nothing they would do... incredible to say the least!
We, as smart consumers buy high end machines and, we should only expect them to last 5 years! Shouldnt we feel safe in having them?
I am TOTALLY disappointing in your response and lack of care for a safety issue!
As I am not happy to simply buy a dryer and have a mismatched set...
I will simply find another manufacturer and buy a new set!
I will never buy your products again...

My Frigidaire professional all refrigerator model FPRH19D7LF0 has completely failed three times since I purchased it five years ago. Each repair has involved key components such as the evaporator, heat exchanger and compressor. I am now looking at a repair bill of over $600. I feel like I have a "LEMON" and have requested a replacement unit from Customer Care at the corporate level. They have neglected to respond to me. Once again, I have lost hundreds of dollars of food and have a non operational refrigerator.
I was Frigidaire to stand behind this unit.
