washer stops with water in it.
The washer stops in the middle of the load with water in it. So far Sears has:
Replaced the control panel, replaced the door latch, replaced the pump.
The power button was causing the temperature setting to change. Tech replaced the control board.
After that, the washer stopped in mid-cycle with water in the drum. It happens after the first load.
The tech then claimed the control panel had no lights and said she'd come back with a new control board, but when she got back the lights were working fine. She left without doing anything.
The next time she came back, my drain was clogged so she said the washer was sucking water out of the sink. Had a plumber snake out the drain. Washer still fails.
The next tech came in and gave me a long lecture on how to operate my washing machine.
The tech who came in today said the filter was clogged and while she had the machine apart she replaced the pump. The washer still fails.
I have been in contact with a case manager named Shannon. He closed the case and won't return my calls.
I just don't think refusing to answer calls is the way to repair a washer.
The warranty runs out in October and I am concerned that it will run out before they fix the washer.

damaged floor and poor quality products
I spent $8000.00 in this store within 6 months of moving back from overseas with the military, bought a samsung frontloader washer and dryer, frigidaire stainless steel stove, overrange, dishwasher, doublewide frig, a 52'in flat screen t.v with stand and 2 pairs of 3D glasses, a microwave! That is alot of hard earn money to one store in less than 6 month...
Read full review of Frigidairefrigidaire dishwasher only 4 months old & won't work
We remodeled our kitchen in Feburary 2011 and purchase all new Frigidaire appliances including a new dishwasher. Our contractor installed the new dishwasher at the end of February 2011. It stopped working June 30, 2011. We called a very reputable service company to come out to service it. During service call #1 they determined that the control board & cousole assemble were defective. Service call #2, the repair company had ordered the new parts and installed them - the dishwasher would now power up but present a error code of "EU". The service company call the Frigidaire tech support line and was informed that the "EU" error code meant that the vent was not powering up and needed to be replaced. Service call #3 - the replacement vent was installed and the error code continued. While the repair man was in my house, I called Frigidaire for help - after 25 minutes I did reach the Tech support again. The tech support told my service man to check and recheck the connections of the new vent part. My service man did do that and it still showed the error code. Frigidaire tech support than said that he felt that the service man "didn't know what he was doing" and then they felt another repair company should come out and evalute the dishwasher. Frigidaire gave me the name of the service company I should use and I called them. Service call #4 - Frigidaire's preferred service came out and looked at the machine and in his opinion the machine was "not fixable and needed to be replaced".
I then contacted Frigidaire support for the 4th time and I was told on Friday, July 29th that my claim was being denied but however, they would offer me an extended warranty on the machine for an additional 18 months! An extended warranty on the dishwasher that doesn't work! Does that make any sense at all? The CSR @ Frigidaire (Nicole) would not listen to my story and I asked for her supervisor (KIM) who then after 35 minutes on the phone said that they would re-review the case.
The service and treatment that I received from Frigidaire was beyond horrible! If anyone is thinking about remodeling your kitchen or purchasing new appliances -- DO NOT BUY FRIGIDAIRE! They do not uphold their guarantees and harass you along the way. Frigidaire has spent more money on service calls (4 of them) and replacing 3 different parts then it would have cost to replace the dishwasher and they would have a much happier consumer. All my time and effort that I've spent trying just to get a dishwasher to work is ridiculous!
BEWAREOF THIS COMPANY!
Frigidaire did just call me back and "after much consideration" stated that they will offer me a store credit from where we purchased the dishwasher. However, Frigidaire wasn't sure how the current dishwasher would be removed out of my newly remodeled kitchen, how would the new appliance be delivered & paid for, who would install the new dishwasher? I already paid once for all of these services to be done...now because of a poor quality product, I must do these again?
Think long and hard before dealing with Frigidaire! I will never again!
not cold/wont freeze
I would first like to say that the customer service in Peterborough was great. When I had my fridge deliver on Fri May 4/12, I was told not to plug it in right away. It was left for 2 hrs. I moved in on Sat may 5/12 and the food was put in the fridge on Sat morning and in the late afternoon when I went to get something out of the fridge it was warm and when I check the freezer everything had thawed. Im a single Mom trying to raise two teens on my own. When I had to throw everything out from the freezer and fridge, which was about $300, that is a lot for me to replace. The repair man was here on Mon afternoon and he said it seem to have a block some where in the system. He said it is a big job to fix and wont be back until Wed afternoon. That means I have been without a fridge for five days and food for my kids to eat. I hope you can do something to help
Thanks Wendy

two year old freezer door has almost rusted off
I purchased a Frigidaire Frost Free Chest Freezer from Lowe's in Charleston, WV. After two years of service the frigidaire chest freezer started to leak into our kitchen floor. I called Lowe's and they said that they would replace the leaking freezer. Lowe's did bring to us another Frigidaire Frost Free Chest Freezer and after two years of service the complete top of the freezer has totally almost rusted through.
I called and a voice mail told me to send an email. I sent an email to Frigidaire and the Frigidaire company sympathized with my current problem of a completely rusted top door. However, they did not offer to take back the defective freezer or to do anything about the rusting freezer. My wife and I have had two new Frigidaire Frost Free Chest Freezers from Frigidaire in the last four years and Frigidaire has offered to do nothing.
I feel that Frigidaire is taking short cuts in the manufacturing of their products at the expense of their customers. I told Frigidaire that If they do not take care of my rusted freezer that I will not purchase another Frigidaire product nor will I encourage my family members, children, co-workers or anyone else to purchase any thing from Frigidaire which oviously has no quality control checks and is using inferior parts in producing their products. Frigidaire should be ashamed to sell defective products to the general public and then not to stand behind their products.
Just had a chest freezer installed approximately 6 weeks ago. Happened to lean on the freezer door ("lid") trying reach the cabinet door above it, and the darn thing caved in. Dented like tin foil! Called customer service and asked if the freezer is guaranteed against damage like that, and was told it is not, since it is a cosmetic issue. The new replacement door would cost $174 plus slight shipping charge, which they would be happy to waive. I couldn't believe what I was hearing! I bought the unit brand new for $210. It is beyond ridiculous! How can they even consider putting such cheap, obviously poor-quality, material into their products and not think it would not affect the integrity of their products? They must not cared about customer satisfaction and product loyalty when they made this decision.
service and freezer
Hi
extremely dissapointed in the product. Went for Electrolux pigeon pair as thought I was buying a quality product. WRONG!
My freezer that is 7 months old has stopped working - power but woke up to deforsted items Tuesday Morning (Only filled it for school term on the weekend - and guess what none of this is covered!). Sure glad I purchased an additional 4 year warranty as looks like i am going to need it.
Contacted the local service agent only to be told no technician until next Monday 20 Feb - Haa, Haa. I am a single working mum with Kids. Requested a call when service centre open to get it fixed urgently. Advised I needed at least 30 min to get home from work (work in a hospital - cant leave at the drop of a hat). Left for an Industrial relations meeting at 11:00am precisely (no phones allowed). returned to find a message at 12:10. returned call only to be told tech had gone to house and that was it for the day. As I returned call in 10 min "Not fair!). Was rung back and told message left at 10:40 - not true as no message on my phone and I was still in my office with my mobile glued to me. When stated service was terrible and I needed freezer fixed was accused of lying as thier records indicated they had phoned! Dont know who - but it wasnt on my phone. Told to escalate issue and was advised some one would call me back in 4 hours approx. 16:30. No one had rung by 16:55 so I rand the 13 number - guess what the switch board had closed (5 min early and of course no one had rung me). I am in Chemical training for the next 2 days so will be unable to take any calls. guess my freezer wont be fixed next week either. i wonder if Today Tonight would like a story?
So my experience is Electolux Fridges are Lemons and their is no Service to repair them. my advice is dont buy them!

stove is spent
February 3, 2012
We purchased a frigidaire glass top stove at bad boy in barrie nov. 2007. Model #pfef374es3, serial #nf73720364. We use the oven part very little (Maybe 30hrs on it since new). Last year the outlet on top blew. It blackened the enamel on top, so I purchased a new outlet. (Not yet installed).
We have never used a glass top before so we though that the front left element coming on and off was supposed to happen. It would cycle like this most of the time so you could never boil a pot of water and at other times it would go to max and burnt and warped our expensive pot set. So I purchased a new control for the burner. (Not yet installed)
Now, my oven will not work most of the time. You have to be patient with it and keep pushing the oven switch for it to finally come on. When it does, the timer still will not work so you have to use an external timer and when you are finished with the oven, most of the time it will not shut off. You have to turn off the main breaker at the panel. This is a fire and safety hazard. They tell me it is a controller that has gone and it will cost over $300 for the part and a service call of $?.? Who knows?
I have contacted badboy and frigidaire and they both told me that there is nothing they can do. I think that frigidaire should fix or replace my stove free of charge. This type of service would never have happened 20 years ago. Where has customer care gone?
bad quality
We paid a lot of money for our Electrolux oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and other items. When I put the oven on "Clean Mode" it never worked again. we read other stories about this. Also, the water pedal on the front of the fridge just broke. The dishwasher needs help. I have to scrub the dishes before the Electrolux even sees them.
Called the company, agents were rude. Put on endless hold and hung up on. So I purchased an oven for $2, 500.00 and it only lasted for 6 years! Same with the fridge, $2.500.00 and we can't get water from the front dispenser. This is quality? Don't think so. In addition we purchased the convection microwave so I think Electrolux would be kind enough to take care of us. Instead they were RUDE! Don't buy any of their products. They look good but they are very shoddy. Buyer beware!
service contract
Purchase multiple Frigidaire appliances in November 2011. Kitchen was being remodeled so I did not have them delivered for about 35 days and did not open them until about 55 days after purchase. Upon opening I found that the special offer or an extended service contract had to be submitted within 30 days of purchase or over 3 weeks before they were opened. Contacted the company and received no help. Poor customer reltions.

Bought a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowes on Nov 11 2021 and also bought a three year extended warranty to which the young lady said, if in that 3 yrs we cannot get parts or repair it will be replaced. I called Lowes and now she tells me there policies have changed, well give me back my money and quit selling warranties you don't honor then she gives give me the number to Frigidaire. I called the repair dept and they sent me an email saying i should call a repair person of my choice and they will reimburse me up to $150.00 and if parts are needed to send them the part #'s and they will mail them to me, well then I would have to have a repair person out again.
I received a letter from Frigidaire wanting to sell me a warranty on another product I had purchased 2 years ago. In this letter it says their service benefits are:
No Service Fee: No out of pocket expense on covered repairs and replacements.
Customer Satisfaction: U.S. based customer care center.
Valuable protection:100% Parts and labor for covered repairs, where applicable.
Service by KitchenAid: Only authorized technicians.
(This is what is in the blurry photo)
So why I'm I responsible for contacting a service man? And if he is not an authorized service man do they then null and void the service warranty I purchased.
There should be a way of protecting ourselves from fraud like this.
This is unacceptable from large companies.

About 14 months ago we purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Sears. Thank God that we purchased the extended warranty. Model #FFSS2614QE6A. We have had problems with this refrigerator within a month. Right now we are waiting for the "6th" service repair! 11 days ago the fans started making noise. The noise level now is so high that we can not eat a meal in our kitchen! The repairman came out 7 days ago. He said the fan motors must be replaced. He said the parts would be mailed to us. Call for service when they arrive.
Why in the hell do you send a repair man to repair this fridge and he has NO access to parts?
Frigidaire must be manufacturing very cheaply made products.
I wish that one of the executives of this company had to have this HIGH NOISE LEVEL in their house for 11 days.
Call customer service only Monday thru Friday. You can't speak to a person in the U.S. There is NO one that you can talk to other scheduling a repairman visit.
Question to the Management, "Would you buy an appliance from a company like Frigidaire?"
Does ANYONE IN MANAGEMENT care about about us? I think not!
received a repaired item
On jan.01, 2012, I ordered a - fpcpo7d7ms, frigidaire professional crock pot from
Best buy – on line – order # bbyo1-[protected]. I received the order a week or so
Later.
While looking for the model number and serial on the bottom of the crock pot, to
Send in the registration card, I found that the bottom of the black plastic had a 1” to
1 ½” crack in it.
Even worse, someone had “glued and or used epoxy” in an attempt to repair this
“new” crock pot!
I certainly do not believe that best buy had a hand in this under handed deed.
I believe it occurred on your end.
I did return it to my local best buy store and they reordered the pot.
You can believe that I will inspect the next pot from best buy.
If my wife didn’t want this pot so much, I would have simply returned
It.
I can tell you that this type of under handed retailing is not what I would
Expect, particularly on a $85.00 crock pot, from a leading company, like
Frigidaire.
Did frigidaire think or hope I wouldn’t notice? Very deceptive.
Someone at your end knew this was repaired, hence the glue but
They decided to try to get away with it anyway.
How would I expect your quality control to be on your higher end appliances?
Probably no better than this.
So far they have simply given me their small appliance dept. Phone number!
warranty agreement not honored
We purchased a 5 yr warranty for our washer at Famous Tate and Bankers Warranty is the administrator! After 3 years the washer stopped working and gave us an error code. Called and was set up with A and E Factory Service to come out - they never showed and 2 more appointments were made - again, they did not show. The error code indicated clearly what was wrong with the washer but Bankers Trust insisted on a technician to come out and determine what was wrong. We were told once Banks Warranty receives the technician"s report and an estimate of the repair costs they would determine if they paid or not. This entire process could take up to 4 weeks! Bankers Trust claims to only work with A and E Factory Service! Customer service rep was very rude and even suggested we should buy a new washer!
10 days past the one year warranty on my Frigidaire Affinity Washer, the washer stopped spinning. I bought this at Sears and they told me that because I did not purchase the service plan (additional 300.00) they would be unable to help. I called Frigidaire, their story was the same, I didn't buy a service contract so I was SOL. We are talking 10 days past the 1 year warranty! A washer should last for 10 years! What happened to standing behind your product. After googling this problem, I was able to see this is a COMMON problem with this model machine! So why hasn't this been recalled yet? I will never recommend or buy from this company again, AND I will plaster my complaints everywhere until this is resolved by the company!
I bought the Frigidaire Affinity washer and dryer set, Since i' ve had them all i 've had is nothing but trouble . The dryer has an error 64 on the screen and my washer doesn't wash my clothes very well, The sale men told me that they were the best . And so far i hate them .

faulty product experience
Bought Frigidaire range and had it delivered on 7/30, on Sept. 29 my oven would not work. Tried circuit breakers, everything I could think of. Finally on Oct 1st Saturday, I called Frigidaire customer service and told them my oven will not start. I set the oven to bake and set the temp., once I open the door the clock resets itself. The customer service person said that was why my oven wasn't working, needed that part replaced. He told me who I could call in my area, one of the places was where I bought the range. I called and left a message.
I had to call them back on Oct 4th because they never called. They had a technician out in a day or 2. He came and said we needed a different part and it could take up to 2 weeks to get it. About 2 1/2 weeks later he came and installed the part, still didn't work. Then he ordered the control panel, that took 2 1/2 weeks to get and took a couple of days before he came to install it, well it still didn't work. I called and asked to speak to a manager at Frigidaire, I told her my problem and that it was bad service having to wait all that time for parts and still doesn't work. She told me she was going to send out parts directly to my home next day air and have the technician come and install that. I believe that was some electrical part, still didn't work. The technician said that it has to be my electrical lines. I had an electrician up and he tested my lines and said they are fine, he looked at the stove, test some things, he said that the control panel was fried again. He said It is the appliance, its junk.
Now it is Nov 22nd and still no oven, technicians came again and still couldn't fix it. They wanted somebody to stay at home on Nov 23rd so they could send another technician over. We wasted time off from work, cost of an electrician, my stress and aggreviation on getting this repaired. No Thanksgiving at my house. My family had to make other plans. They should just replace the junk, but who really wants a Frigidaire appliance after all of this. Well guess what, I bought all Frigidaire appliances in July, how stupid

bad service
We were using an electrolux microwave oven and it stopped functioning two months ago and on the next day we send it for repairing to "Prompt"- Authorized electrolux service center. Till today they have not returned our product and when we are contacting them, they were giving false assurances to return it within two days.
When today we called the company representative in Kolkata, Mr Ambarish, Mob No. [protected] to know about the status of our product, he started talking to us in a rude tone such that we are his servants. Earlier he contacted us when we complained to electrolux office at mumbai about the delay in service, he assured us on behalf of electrolux to look after the matter. he also used bad languages today and disconnected the line.
How electrolux claim to be the best household electronics company?
I want the address of service centre in Delhi. My microwave oven stoped working. I bought in year 2002

dishwasher
I purchased a gas frigidaire oven from lowes and the electrical panal stopped working after 13 months. Frigidaire gave us a replacement panel but we had to pay $200 for the labor. Prior to the problems with my frigidaire stove, I also purchased a frigidaire diahwasher and refridgerator from lowe's interenet site. It took one month for delivery of the dishwasher and three months for the delivery of the fridgerator. After 13 months, the electrical panel stopped working on my dishwasher too! Frigidaire supplied another panel but of course-I had to pay the labor charges of $200 to have it replaced. The stove and dishwasher both have the frigidaire icon in cursive. Needless to say-one month after the panel was replaced on my dishwasher it is out again so I am out the cost of the dishwasher and the repair. I spoke with lowes customer service department and was told that according to their company policy I will not get any further assistance from lowes despite the acknowledgement that lowes sold me two products that seem to have bad electrical boards. I do not use the self clean option for my frigidaire stove in fear that it too will fail again...

hopeless service: agency and call centre
1) The after sales service agency GX System & Service is hopeless. Will not provide a status update forget service. The proprietor, Navin, is rude and has no focus on this business. In the service business if you are rude, you can not be there for the long term. His manager, Manju, is his replica. This agency will commit dates that they themselves 'FORGET'! They will go the extra mile to cancel a customer request with the customer still in complete darkness. In short, this agency is a brilliant client attrition engine to have. Can Electrolux afford this is such a competitive market like Bangalore?
2) The call centre operations of Electrolux India is a sham. They are of no use to the customers. I think, Electrolux can do without this intermediate routing agency. Like most consumer durable contact centres in India, they are a big dis-service to the share holders.

brand source warranty
We have had the washer for 26 months. Worked very well. Until a few days ago. Took 4 days to get service tech out. 2.5 hours late for a 4 hour window. Tech was nice. Reset washer and it seemed to work. Until he left. 10 minutes and it no longer worked. Called Brand Source and they say it will be another week. Not good.

Bought a total Frigidaire appliance package from Aplliance Smart and in exactly 2 weeks the refrigerator stopped working. Lowes Frigidaire Refrigerator Extended Maintenance Contracts - I want to issue an extensive warning to customers in buying Extended Maintenance Contracts from the appliance section of Lowes - Make sure you have double documentation of the purchase. We bought a Frigidaire Refrigerator from Lowes in July of 2009. All we were given for the 4-year extended maintanance contract was a sales receipt with the dollars on the receipt. For about a year we checked with the Lowes salesperson whenever we went into the Opelika Alabama store and we were showed that the extended maintenance contract was on their store computer. About two years later we checked again in the store and the our extended maintenance contract had disappeared from their store computer. We found out from the corporate headquarters that the local store only keeps the data on their computer for about a year. The corporate headquarters had no record of the extended maintanance contract! We had to threaten to go to the Alabama and the North Carolina State Attorney's office if they did not correct it before they finally corrected the corporate headquarters computer. So make sure that there is a clear store and corporate headquarters records when you buy any appliance extended maintenance contract from Lowes. We now have a telephone number and reference number to contact the corporate headquarters to get maintenance done on the refrigerator.

false claims
I recently quit work as a service tech for valley appliance. (After over a year)
The main reason is the way they do business. I've been servicing frigidaire for about 13 years. And I understand what is legal and what is not!
They won't pay their bills for parts. Marcone won't even give them parts on their account. Or even accept payment for parts by credit card. This has been going on for 3 months. Things that was supposed to be scraped is being re-sold, some as new. Also filing rebates for costomers. So they can pocket the money, and forgetting your customers. Need less to say this business is realy giving frigidaire a bad name. I think it would be in your best intrest to investigate valley. Because they are killing the electrolux name. Whilpool has dropped them as dealers for filing falsified claims. Just thought you really need to know

40 days old frigidaire refrigerator breaks down-patent pending
On may 12, 2011 we bought a frigidaire refrigerator (Model # ffhs2611lq, serial # 4a11502582) online with 5 year warranty. It was delivered to my home mesa, az on may 19 by the home tv & appliance store in 310 w southern ave, mesa, az. – tel. [protected]. On july 6, 2100 in the morning I noticed the melting ice flooded my hard wood floor overnight. Also noticed that the temperature under refrigerator is stuck at 4 and flashing. I called the store which delivered it to ask them have it picked up and returned. Manager told me after 30 days of purchase date it is the manufacturer’s responsibility. Also they sent a maytag tech (Phoenix, az, 85041 @ [protected]) who came to the house on july 7 (Thu) he said the temperature control is defective and needs to be replaced and it will have to wait until following week because they have to order the part from nevada. On july 13 the tech came, replaced the control in about 15 minutes. This happened around 9:30 am tweleve hours later I dared to open the fridge (We were told that it takes 12 hrs for temp to adjust so I did not open earlier) and noticed that nothing has changed-the temp under refrigerator was still flashing at 4. On july 14 in the morning I went to check it again all the melted ice flooded my floor overnight.
After more than a week with no fridge in temp over 100 f and two failed repairs I asked frigidaire to please send someone to pick up the refrigerator, return the money plus the 5 yr warrantee back in my account asap I do not want a replacement or repair I want it back to wherever you want it out of my house and my money back
On july 14 early in the morning electrolux customer service emailed promising the escalation department wll contact me. It is july 15 9 am (Az time) and no one has yet contacted me.
Also I notice a white label on the back of the frigidaire that says patent pending. Is patent pending appliances or anything else legal in us? Does this explain why the fridge broke down after being used from may 19 to july 5-6? Thank you for acting on our behalf.
