I submitted 2 bills to my adjuster 2 weeks ago and he still did not send me the check . one for towing and one for cell phone loss that was damaged due to the accident please investigate and advise me .I been with Geco for 30 years I expect better treatment . the date of loss was 9-2-2021 and I sent the bills via fax on or about 9-6-2021 and Geico told they received my fax it is on the system please investigate Thanks

One of your agents named Katie called about my claim. She left a message for me to return her call. I called back and was put on hold for 26 minutes. When I finally got some one to answer, I told them I was returning Katies phone call. The person that answered was Rose. She told me to wait a minute and she would transfer my call. Then I was disconnected. I am not going to be put on hold for another 20 plus minutes!
Your customer service sucks!
I was emailed to contact Customer Service. I returned the call and spoke to a female. This was on February 9th, 2022. She told me she was contacting me about an authorized driver being involved in an accident. I asked her when it happened. My car was not involved but my authorized driver, my sister, also has car insurance with Geico. She told me recently. I asked again for the date and she put me on hold, then, came back on and said very recently. I got off the phone in a panic that my sister had been in an accident that day. I called police and hospitals since my sister wasn't answering my calls. I was in full blown panic trying to find out if she was hurt or dead. One I got hold of my sister and told her what happened, she called Geico and they didn't show any recent accident information. The last accident report was in 2019. I am livid that Customer Service wouldn't give me specific information and put me through hell worrying about my sister. This happened at about 4:40 pm on 2/9/2022. They should be trained better. I am thinking about changing car insurance at this point.

Beware of geico. We had geico for 49 years! My mom passed away, and despite three payments they cancelled my insurane without any notication. Choose a company that provides customer service
1. Geico did not arrive on two separate occasions for their so-called roadside assistance.
2. I was broadsided by anther Geico driver. Geico said I was at fault, yet they refused to provide me with a report or an explanation.
3. I reported to Geico and Travelers on 10/22/20 that my mother had passed the day before. On April Geico cancelled my insurance without any notification. Both my mother and I had been Geico clients for 49 years!
My mother, Eileen Raymond and I were both enrolled on the same policy with Geico for 49 years. On 10/21/2020 my Mom passed away. I reported her passing to Geico on 10/23/20. I said that both her bank account and credit card were cancelled, and I provided my new direct payment to Geico through my bank account. Geico assured me that everything was completed, and that there would be no interruption in future payments to Geico.
On April 20, 2021 I received an email addressed to my deceased mother. It stated that they were unable to withdraw $734.20 from my mother's credit card, which of course I had reported to them as cancelled. I called them and made another payment through my credit card. They assured me that the payment was made and my auto insurance would continue.
On April 24, I again received an email sent to my mother stating that unless payment was made, my insurance would be cancelled on 5/4/21. Once again, I called them and they said my mother's death had not been reported. Once again, I reported my Mom's passing. Once again, they assured me that the payment had been recorded by Geico.
On Thursday April 29, I received a letter to my mother stating that unless Geico received a check by Monday, May 3 our insurance would be cancelled. Although I knew that Geico would probably not receive the check by then, I still complied.
On April 30, I called Geico. They told me that my insurance was already cancelled and offered a new policy for $902. I asked them if I had been driving without and auto insurance and they said yes! I contacted State Farm and their insurance for the same policy was $904. I did speak with some manager at Geico who told me that regardless, Geico should not have cancelled me, but should have continued the insurance until October. I chose State Farm because Geico gave me no customer service, and offered no resolution. Instead of Geco offering condolences, they penalized me by trying to raise my premiums by $168.
Geico is responsible for the return of my check payment. Geico is responsible for my increased premiums. Geico cancelled my insurance without any notification. Consequently, I had been driving without insurance which is in non-compliance of the State of Maryland laws.
Geico has refused to allow me to contest or even discuss the above situations. I have been repeatedly informed that I have the right to initiate a complaint, and also the right to request a review, or make an appeal. Geico has relatedly violated my rights as a policy holder by refusing to address my complaints. Geico no longer seems to be interested in customer service or client's rights.

Adjuster intentionally imposing extremely unacceptable wait time to attend to motor vehicle repair supplements. Average with me 14 day wait or ignorantly only approving a nominal amount such as $220 on a $3800 supplement.
Repair coordinator at Fields Collision Center had to enlist me help to try to get him to respond and also informed me they are used to his intentional delays and poor response time for the past 20 years! And Geico does nothing to him, who should be FIRED!
Perhaps Geico does nothing to bring his customer Best Practice Service because they get a guaranteed protected stream without any losses since owners cannot drive their cars and so no accidents can happen.
Adjuster is Dennis Tamisin. Has arrogant attitude and puts himself first and couldn't care less about his customers.
He still is dragging out the final stage of repairs by finally approving insultingly tiny portion of repair supplements as he is doing to me.

My daughter was involved in an accident i was unaware of my policy [protected]/1288 in june, geice refused to ficx her car adjuster joshua [protected], , fixed the other party car, without informing me about the accident, i spoke to him today 7/30/2021, only to bew told i should jumk my car and take the plate off, its my loss, because my daughter faule.
Please help my daughter suffered a concussion, was uinable to relate to the accident, still suffereing from head injuried, which she is afraid to seek medical help, for geico saying its her fault.
Need help this is the first claim for 25 years with geico amoun ting to 4 cars.

Failure to properly Notify of cancelled insurance/premium issue
I have coverage with Geico for two home-owners policies and two vehicle policies. I have been presumed to have coverage because my payments are automatically drafted via my bank account. On 6/24/2021 I was hit by another driver who made an illegal turn. It has been determined that the other driver was at fault and there insurance company has accepted liability and is working with my attorney to solve my property damage and the medical injury on my passenger. But, the main issue is that I contacted Geico to report the accident at which time I was told that my coverage was cancelled effective 5/2021 they immediately took an over the phone payment for an effective date of 6/25/2021 utilizing the exact same credit card that I had on file for all of my scheduled premiums with no issue. However, they advised me that they previously had an issue drafting the payment for May and June 2021. This is not possible, because I have my checking account attached to a savings account that immediately transfers funds in the event that my checking account has a shortage of funds and this account has in excess of 100, 000.00. Investigating the issue further I cannot see that any decline transactions occurred on my account for Geico premiums, further they never sent me a notice of cancellations via text or mail. Geico has declined to backdate the coverage and I am cancelling them and moving all of my coverage's to a new company. However, because of this issue I have been deemed not to be covered for personal injury per my attorney, I feel that something should be done before this happens to another person.
Desired outcome: Backdate my claim effective 6/01/2021 because they made the error in notification about premium or transaction issue.

Yes, I have been with GEICO for years and truly appreciate them. Until, recently I was in an abusive relationship with this man that took my vehicle while under distress he forced my out of my vehicle taking my keys. So I called GIECO not if in fact I could report my vehicle stolen since it was my ex boyfriend and I had been living with him. However, mind you I had full coverage insurance in Oklahoma on this truck but I think a week but this all went down I changed my policy to liability since I owned the truck. So, therefore I didn't have full coverage at the time. But had sure paid for that month. Anyway, long story short the Police Department got my truck! And won't give it back to me they are telling me it was reported stolen. Yes of course it was I did that through my insurance company! Moreover, GEICO will not help in any way clear this matter up. They still have my truck and I am pretty sure they are letting my ex boyfriend get the truck! Thanks GEICO! LAWSUIT?

We made a request for roadside assistance over ten days ago. The Geico app showed that the claim was successfully made and we had someone coming. Then, that assistance was somehow canceled by that business. We waited there for three hours calling Geico and waiting on hold repeatedly until a police officer appeared and demanded to call a local garage as we were stranded on the side of a freeway.
Coincidentally, this was the same garage that Geico called to fulfill our roadside assistance request later that night.
We were forced to pay Pete's garage over $200 out of pocket. After midnight that same night, someone from Geico finally called and left Nicholas a voicemail which we still have. She mentioned that they would refund us what we paid for roadside, etc.
Nicholas has been unsuccessful in obtaining this refund even after being told two days later for a second time, that we would be refunded.
A few days ago we were then told that we are declined reimbursement! My husband demanded reimbursement and was told to send them a new itemized receipt.
We still have no reimbursement.

I had an accident on march 27th 2021. I asked for my car to be taken to a specific collision repair place.I had it all set up and gave the information to Geico. Geico still took my car to their repair place instead of where I asked. Their repair place has not been able to get the correct parts and it's been almost 3 months. I have called and talked to my claims adjuster at Geico several times but he informs me there is nothing he can help me with. Geico's collision place has know idea what parts are need for my car or where to get them. This is why I asked for my Jaguar to be taken to a different repair shop. Everytime i speak to the repair shop they cant give me any straight answer about what is happening with my car. Weeks and weeks are going by and nothing is happening. It took two months for them to get a fuel line and it's been over a month and I'm still waiting on a few screws that they need but they dont know where to get them from. My car still needs body work and paint done. It is no where near being complete. I have spoke to Geico and a supervisor and havent got anywhere. They tell me its out of their hands. Now I recieved an email saying Geico has paid the repair shop in full? I cant get the shop to finish my car and now they have been paid 16k. Geico's service with my claim has been terrible. I am going on 3 months with out my car and I have no answers of when it will be finished TERRIBLE SERVICE
My Auto policy for second vehicle
On April 30, 2021, I added my daughter's 2013 Dodge Charger to my Policy. My policy number is [protected]. At that time, I told the Rep I needed full coverage for this car. My daughter drives to and from work daily. Earlier this year, I dropped her previous car, the Dodge Journey. It had the full coverage I was seeking. The Rep quoted all of the coverages I was getting for her to be safe. These coverage including Full Comp/ Collision with Roadside Assistance and Car rental. I agreed to the coverage and was reassured everything was taken care of. The 1st Red Flag was when she needed a tow on May 1st, 2021. When I called to request the tow, I was told that the Dodge Charger did not have Roadside Assistance. After speaking with a Manager, I explained that I had previously requested full coverage and what was suppose to be on my Policy. He said he would take care of it. However, I just now finding out that he only added Roadside Assistance to my Policy and did not assure that the policy was updated. I asked him if I would have any more problems. He said no, everything was taken care of. On 06-03-21 someone hit my daughter head on in a motor vehicle accident. While waiting for the responsible parties insurance to pick up the claim, we informed Geico of the no fault accident and decided to request the rental car assistance, thinking all was well and she was covered. At this time, I was told that the manager did not do as promised and I am hurt and insulted because there is no collision, comprehension, or car rental as I requested and thought had been rectified. I have honestly never been more disappointed and dissatisfied in my entire life. Today, I spoke with Amy Thomas and she told me that the original conversation between myself and the Rep was not recorded. This adds to my level of distrust . So, was the conversation between myself and the Manager recorded? My trust is completely shattered with Geico. I have been with Geico for at least five years, and never had to go behind anyone to see if what I requested was honored. Therefore, the goal is to remain a loyal customer with Geico and come to a fair resolve. I need this issue to be rectified so that I am not forced to move on the the insurance commissioner andor further litigations. To be clear, I requesting that full coverage with Comp/ Collison RSA and Car Rental, for the Dodge Charger, is back dated to the original date that I was told that it had been added to my policy on April, 30, 2021. I also need an updated declaration page reflecting this change.

Glass repair coverage being denied after being told i was covered
Hello, my name is Denise Grimmer,
The policy number for my auto insurance is [protected]. My claim number with Geico is [protected]. I filed the claim on 04/20/2021. The incident happened on 04/14/21. When I parked my car the drivers side window was working fine and when I went outside to use the car again the window was down and would not go up again with the electric window button .I believe my car was broken into and my coverage states "Vandalism is considered to be a Comprehensive claim. Based on the information you have given us, you are not at fault for this incident". I called Safelite Auto Glass company to make an appointment to have the window fixed. I was referred to this company by Geico. My coverage response online says "Comprehensive Coverage: Your policy has a $250.00 deductible. If your glass needs to be replaced, you will be responsible for paying your deductible. However, if the glass can be safely repaired, your deductible will be waived." I was also told "Rental Vehicle: Your policy allows up to $50.00 a day with a maximum amount of $1, 500.00 while your vehicle is being repaired. You can reserve your rental vehicle when you schedule your repairs. Saflite sent a repairman to my home on Wednesday 04/21/2021 to fix the window and they needed more parts so I had to make a new appointment to bring the car to their shop on 3/03/2021. the info given and the estimate will be attached if needed but is on my claim on Geico. I saw that all i needed to pay was $293.00. I received a call from the rental car company Enterprise Rent A Car that Geico told them my rental coverage would only cover the rental up until Wednesday 4/28/2021. Now I have to pay for 5 days of rental out of my pocket cause my repair date is 05/03/2021.
I then received a call from a claims adjuster named Jon Lee on Friday 04/30/2021 telling me the repair will not be covered. He says I cant prove my car was broken into and its just wear and tear because my car is so old. It is a 1995 Ford Explorer. I do think my car was broken into because my key to the security gate was gone and some money I had left in the console. The claims adjuster was very rude and I was shocked because I had previously been told the repair was covered and now it is not. I am still taking the car to be repaired on 05/03/2021. I am 69 years old and cant be driving myself and my Blind client around without a window. I am a caregiver for him and he is very frail. Ple3ase call me for additional info at [protected]. I just looked up my claim on Geicos website and there is nothing indicating that my claim will not be paid.
Desired outcome: Reimbursement for any repairs and the out of pocket expense for the rental car.

on 3/31/2021 I had a single car accident. This accident occurred in the process of me changing over vehicles. I trade my jeep compass that was traded in for a dodge 2018. The dodge charger is the car I had a accident in. This happen late on the same day I renewed my insurance. I was currently insurance with GEICO on my Jeep but once this accident occurred Geico explained to me that the accident occurred prior. I was trying to explain my accident to the best of my knowledge but with out a police report it is very difficult. I tried to obtain a police report in Charles county were the accident occurred but was snot successful. I was told with a single car property damage there no report to give unfortunately for me.
The times I report was not a accurate for geico only because it was hard for me to recall this sudden incident. my car was inspected and I was still unable to have the claim processed. My family has insured with geico for over 20 years. I never meant for this t0 happen and hope ono one has to go thru this nightmare like I have, I am very stressed out.Now im stuck with a $6, 050. repair bill that I cannot afford. I started with Geico about 2 years ago almost, paid for 4 vehicles in full each 6 months. This past February my job suffered from the freeze we had in Texas, they had an electrical explosion and had to close the building for almost 2 weeks. The last week of February, I cannot remember exact date, I called Geico to tell them that I needed to postpone my payment for the new 6 months which was due on March 10th, by 1 or 2 weeks due to the natural disaster- Winter Storm here in Texas, and not working for that time. I was having trouble getting unemployment so I wanted I was trying to get this taken cared of so I would not have any trouble. At first the representative said no, they cannot postpone it and the payment was due March 10th, (The Geico app says, "Yes, we can easily change your payment date"!) and my coverage will get canceled if I do not pay it. I kept persuading her to understand the situation and it's beyond my control, I have already been affected financially as I took a large salary pay cut from my job in order to be able to keep my job when the pandemic started, and asked for a one time courtesy, she finally said ok, they can postpone the payment. On March 19th, I got into a horrible vehicle collision where I almost lost my life, and my vehicle was totaled. the seatbelt saved my life but it also caused me internal bleeding and had to have emergency surgery. My father calls the insurance (I was in ICU heavily medicated and in lots of pain for 5 days) the day of my accident to make the payment and report the accident. I spoke to Geico, I believe was on March 24th, to give my statement on the accident and about my call to Geico to postpone my pay date. Unfortunately, I do not have any memory of the accident due to the severity of the accident. The representative on the phone whom took and recorded my statement said that Geico had already accepted responsibility for the accident, that it was my fault and they would take care of the other vehicles damages, they are just going to investigate further about the 9 days canceled insurance and will get back to me. A week and a half later, after they investigated and "ran it twice" with the proper department, they denied my claim because the insurance was canceled for 9 days and they did not have a record of me calling in to postpone my payment. They said there was nothing I could do. This is why insurance is suppose to exist and why we the consumers pay Geico all our hard earned money...to insure that we should not have added stress and worry during situations like this regarding our vehicle, and medical bills, but so that we can focus on being thankful to have a second chance of life, and focus on healing our (literally) broken, stressed body and trying to get through each day with physical pain. My accident occurred almost 4 weeks ago, and just now have no pain, and better state of mind (as this has caused me and my family so much depression, anxiety and stress) and at this time I am ready to start looking into what actions I can do that protects the consumer in situations like this when the insurance refuses to take care of their customer, not caring of the fact that two natural disasters like a Worldwide Pandemic, and a Winter Storm which Texas was not prepared to handle had a direct affect on this s1ituation, why I asked for a 1 to 2 week extension. The representative who I spoke to the week of February 22nd, 2021, should have done her job and made sure to save the record of the postponement of my payment, she should have advised me I could also go online on the Geico app to do it myself as it states, you can easily change your payment date. I should not be lied to, no customer should be lied to, as the Geico representative that took my recorded statement on the accident said that Geico will be paying for the other vehicles damages, they are just waiting to hear back from them, and then the Geico representative that called me on April 1st, 2021, said that is not true they only took "fault" of the accident. Geico is freely, comfortably and conveniently laying to their customers. The representative from April 1st call mentioned that the accident was at 2 something in the morning, and my father called at 10 something that night to make the payment, as if that means something and as if after you find out your daughter almost died you are gonna still have a right state of mind to make sure and call the insurance right away. Geico should have the decency and ethical responsibility to work with the customer when they see we have always paid 6 months worth of coverage at once, in full and by the way, there is a world wide pandemic that many lost their jobs due to which includes us, Geicos customer, they could have shown some empathy like so many companies are because the financial strain is real and currently existing, and lets take care of this customer, and do a one time courtesy of moving the time the payment was received to earlier in the am that day, and give them coverage. My job sold the property on February 24, 2021 to another company. On that date, they advised us our medical insurance will be terminated on February 2021, and the new company insurance has a 60 day waiting period so we will not have coverage until May 2021. The marketplace insurance has a 30 day time to process and be active, so I did not have medical insurance for all of March, 2021. I did my part by calling Geico to postpone my payment and got approval, and was told Geico was taken responsibility when they spoke to the other person in the collision, Geico should commit to that and not make it seem as if I made this up and am laying. I read that in the 2020 JD Power study of customer satisfaction for auto insurance, Geico rated below average for auto insurance claims satisfaction, I am experiencing this. Please let my faith and trust be regained in Geico and honor my claim, do not deny it.

My complaint is Geico is not like they were years ago, they have the worse services for auto and renters insurance. The agents lack professionalism even the supervisors and the agents talk like they are in fear of saying the wrong information. Takes weeks to get back to you N I can go on and on, but why they are not going to change. Warning Military people do not keep Geico and please shop around for better auto services and the renter services are better.
