Ticket purchase
On June 2 I booked a return trip from Vancouver to Seattle. Paid for seat selection and used a voucher for partial payment. The voucher came from a previous trip that was cancelled. Wed July 26 at 9.03am I receive emails saying there have been changes to my itinerary. I am attaching emails I received. I called customer service, was told the only thing I could do was to submit my feedback via clicking the contact us button as there was no one I could phone. I asked to speak to this person's superior and was transferred. I was told the same thing from this person as well. I went online to see the schedule for my original trip and it was still available and the seats I had reserved and paid for were available. I checked the Flix bus and saw their schedule, same thing, but we were now placed in the middle of the bus with different arrival and departure times! I told them I reserved front row seats because my mother has mobility issues.
I've attached screenshots of my original confirmed bookings. I complained a lot and was provided a link to 'manage my booking'. I changed the arriving & departing locations back to the original UOW, but I couldn't change my seats back to what I paid for. I was told I couldn't because new seats had been assigned and I can't change them. I asked them to change them because they have the power to do so and all communications from them ceased. I contacted Flix Bus and was told they can't do anything about it because the original ticket was through Greyhound.
Desired outcome: I want the reserved seats I booked and paid for back because I paid for them and they're still available, but I can't change it myself.
I was supposed to arrive in Wichita Kansas around 3am. I didn't get there til noon
On July 1st 2023 6:15pm leaving davenport iowa trailways driver notified Jefferson Lines driver Verl Rapp to wait because we were running late. As our bus was pulling in the Des Moines bus station parking lot the Jefferson lines bus immediately started to pull out leaving us passengers left behind. It was not for another 5 hour wait for the next bus so I made it to my next destination had to wait another 3 hours. I was supposed to be in Wichita Kansas around 3 am. I didn't get to Wichita Kansas til noon! Not very happy! Then my trip back you guys had taken me on a longer ride back clear over to Chicago greyhound and that bus was also late arriving to Chicago and that driver never notified the other driver but I found a 2nd bus luckily to get to davenport iowa but the ticket agent failed to mentioned about the 2nd bus to davenport iowa. I'll never go out of state with greyhound again I wouldn't recommend that. To many layovers and long layovers
Desired outcome: There needs to be better communications with the driver's and the drivers needs to learn to wait for other busses when they are late. I want an apology for that.
Customer service agent and lack of transportation was paid for
I was held over 4 hours in Louisville ‼️The route from Louisville to Atlanta was delayed four hours‼️The Louisville bus was late by 8 Minutes‼️ I was informed when I arrived in the terminal that the bus to Albany was delayed and would be arriving at 1250 For Albany GA my final stop‼️ I requested other form travel to Albany answer no consideration

The male clerk who I first spoke with said he couldn’t call customers service,he lied I spoke to them ftom their phone while the female agent was seeking compensation in behalf on the Italian gentleman‼️
People of color have less than zero compassion for their own people both of these didn’t give a care about what happened to me‼️
They were more concerned about saving greyhound money and denying me what I paid for‼️
I am seeking an attorney anyone know if a good one to sue the brakes off of Greyhound ‼️And the uncaring unconcerned clerk that should be more accommodating to customers that pay her salary‼️And not just Italian one either‼️‼️There we’re more people of color in the terminal that Italian ones‼️

An Italian man was paid that was on the same bus that I was on‼️ I spoke to customers service‼️ He said that he would see what he could do. The clerk behind the counter text him do do anything‼️ And he didn’t ‼️Tbey only have one bus to Albany from Atlanta why wasn’t I informed of that hen I arrived⁉️ I would have been sitting here all-night if I hadn’t kept going up to the desk and asking when the bus was coming ‼️
Once You Pay, You No Cash Back
I recently bought a first-time Greyhound bus ticket with my credit card. I had to cancel the trip 24 hrs later. I thought they would credit my credit card like normal businesses do but instead they issue a voucher good for future travel. Called the company and they said it's their policy to only provide vouchers. You cannot get your money back from this company and you cannot cash in the voucher. You are expected to travel with them or lose out on your money. This is BS. I will never recommend to anyone or use Greyhound again.
Desired outcome: Give me my money back.
Felt discriminated against when I was not allowed to board a bus with my service animal
On July 15 2023 [ had a bus ticket purchased online for $173, to ride the bus from Barstow CA'; to Great Falls MT. I was supposed to board at 7[25 PM. I was at the bus station at 6 PM . At about 730 PM a greyhound bus arrived and I showed the driver my ticket on my phone and he told me it was not my bus so I sat back down and another greyhound arrived 15 minutes later and the driver barely glanced at my phone and said it wasnt my bus,so I sat back down and the man working in the office at greyhound came out and said that is your bus, go get on it and so I went to driver again and he said this isnr your bus. Your bus has been delayed. I looked at my phone and it did have an email to notify the bus was delayed.At that time a passenger on a smoke break told the driver could he open the luggage compartment because she had looked at my ticket amd that was my bus. The driver replied no her bus is delayed and I would be riding the delayed bus that is coming next. So Isat back down and waited hours for another greyhound that never came. I then tracked my bus and realized that was my bus and started calling the 800 number on the poster. I was in shock that surely no one would expect me to have to spend the night ar this bus station, that was beginning to fill with homeless people, mentally ill people , some yelling loudly and violently and people hanging around in groups and people with pit bull dogs and my dog is a pomeranium a small dog. I did not feel safe at all. It was a long terrifying night .I never thought i would experience that in my life.I am i disabled 65 year old female.That might I spoke to greyhound several times and i was told that I was supposed to notify greyhound that I had a service dog, and the driverr wasnt notified I had a service dog so that was probably why they said it was not my bus so I was at fault and my ticket was made invalid.I told them that they were wrong and that I felt discriminated against. They finally told me that I had to go online and ask for help. Which I did. A few houra later I recieved an email back saying they would answer my request for a new ticker in 24 hours. This was unbelievable to me . When the greyhound employee came to work in the morning he said yes my ticket was invalid and gave me his name and number and would testify to the fact i was their on time and tried to board and was not allowd to board/ At this time my phone had lost its service and a local nearby business let me use their phone and i once again called every number for greyhound i could find and that afternoon i finally paid $44 for a ticket back to Victorville.Exhausted I made it to my sisters hpuse in Victorville and then I noticed an email asking me to respond 24 hours afterr i arrived at my final destination So on July 16 I called greyhound and asked if i had a ticket and they said yes and i told them i was in Victorville and that morning i left at 1130 in the morning from Victorville. Later I had more problems I concider my fault because my phone had lost service it did not add on the difference of the hour time differrence in CA and UTAH which caused me to miss my bus at Salt Lake City Airport.I arrived in IDAHO and found out I had a 31 hour layover. I didnt have a phone having lost it on the bus so i estimated how long the layover was.At this point because of everrthing that had happened i was going to have a nervous breakdown and my brother paid someone $500 to drive to utah and pick me up and to take me to great falls montana which was my final destination. and i finally arrived. sorry for errors this is very difficult for me to type and i made a new email for you to respond to and the phone number i give is my brothers

I bought a July 10, 2023 trip ticket to travel to Baltimore. Booking Number [protected], Despite that, I left 1 hour ahead of my schedule of 12:05. The address provided was Mt Laurel Bus Stop. 9-19 Western DR, 08060 Mount Laurel could not be located on GPS. In the process of locating the station, I couldn't locate it; hence time was over.
This is the 3rd time location will be changed from the initial location.

A New bus ticket was created for me. see comformation number #[protected]. the serve delays as mention in my first part of this complaint caused me to not make it to kansas city at 1045pm on the 14th of July in stead of 4:20 pm as the original ticket was purchase for. that almost 7 hours late. I was imprisoned at the Birminham bus stattion. we was not allow to go outside and smoke and all doors was locked. see personal video.

We got to Santa Rosa in one piece then the driver took us on an hour long tour through Santa Rosa commute traffic. Apparently he was not trained enough to know where the freeway on ramp was. He could not even find it with his GPA. Now I am an hour late leaving Santa Rosa, now in freeway commute traffic. My card was charged for a trip from greyhound on 06/02/2023. I did not make this purchase and I went to the website to see if I could get a refund. I was told that I could get a voucher. I don't want a voucher I want my money back. Why get a voucher if I dont use greyhound and I won't be using greyhound. People need their money. People work hard for their money. and I know for a fact that greyhound still has my money. I want my money back to my card.
Denied refund
December 25 I was riding the bus from Seattle to Los Angeles. The bus was on its way fine till we made a stop in Portland where the bus drivers were supposed to switch shifts. we were left in the bus unattended for an hour till a security guard finally told us that the other bus driver did not show up for his shift. Everyone on the bus started to call the company and we didn't get any help until three hours after we got to Portland. When finally, the manager Linda I think her name was got there told us that we would have to have to stay the night and catch the bus the next night. I was not able to do that because I had to be in Los Angeles that morning. So, I took the time to help Linda to get people in a car to a hotel because some didn't understand English and others were deaf then I took an uber to the airport to rent a car because southwest was having issues at that time making tickets more expensive. After all of this i tried to call and ask for a refund but was denied. I still do not understand why. I am still waiting to get a refund. I dont want a bonus for a next trip I just want a refund. I have send multiple request for the refund and have not heard back.

I have been having to sit in a reserved seat coming and going on my trip / After sitting down I'm being told to get back up. Either to move or switch seats. Passengers saying,"this is my seat, your not on your assigned seat. For the first time there was an passenger with a dog. There was an order very strong in my hair and clothes. Delays and cancellation through out my trip. the some seats were taken down for the comfortability of the passenger /pet. I have never brought a assigned seat at Greyhound. Closed bus terminal
I booked a bus from Redding to Missoula. We had a stop in Seattle from 3:30am to 8:20am. I did not have a very good bus trip. On the one hand the bus was really Dirty and stinking from the bathroom. The busdriver was really unfriendly, nearly all the plugs did not work, so we had problems charging our phones, nore did the WIFI work. Both these were promised when purchasing the Ticket. We got to the Seattle Bus Terminal at 3:30am and it was not open although it should open at 3:00 am, so we had to wait without bathroom in the cold, not knowing when they might open. Also I wanted to be indoors to sleep and feel safe and couldn’t. They finally opened at 5:00 am. By that time we were freezing and tired. If there is no possibility of having a Safe place to stay, you should either informe people or change the Bus hours. This is not what I payed 108$ for. Therefore I request a refund.
Desired outcome: Change the opening hours or bus shedule or get some staff.

Aside from filthy terminals and lack of proper and adequate personnel at each terminal there was really no one to answer your question. It seems each terminal is one man show.. New York, Pennsylvania and Cleveland had only one visible person walking around saying I got no answer.. anyways in case you need here the booking [protected]. Requesting a refund since i had to purchased 2 tickets for one trip
I purchased a ticket for my sister coming from Miami Florida to Manchester NH. Ticket # [protected]. She made it as far to Atlanta after several delays. When she arrived in Atlanta she was told that she needs to purchase another ticket to Washington since she missed the connection which was due to delays from Orlando etc. hence I purchased another ticket for her from Atlanta to Washington Ticket # [protected]. again when arrived in NY at 10:00PM she was dropped off on a station which a street with no security and she had to wait till 4:30AM for the next bus. As a woman alone there was no security. I had a friend picked her up to an hotel and brought her back at 4:30AM to Boston. Again arriving in Boston at 9:00AM she had to wait til 1:00Pm for the next bus, Well since she was coming to our mother funeral I could not wait hence I had a family member picked her up in Boston at South Station. Hence why I am asking for the refund of one of the ticket.
I must say this was not a great experience with this line of transportation and I hope that you will refund one of the ticket accordingly.
