customer service
Worst customer service ever! This cashier named joanna in heb zapata hwy super rude! I dont like my job either but I make an effort to not show it she was rude to me and another customer in line on back of me. You would tell her something and she would make a face. I ripped a scan bar by mistake which I still was gonna buy the product, and she got mad about it. Worst customer service experience ever! People like that should not be working as cashier or interacting with people at least. Super disappointed.
parking
I'm Extremely upset with HEB right now. The HEB in Georgetown on Williams Drive has just gone through a renovation (probably because there is competition headed their way) The parking through the renovation was bad, as much of the parking was cordoned off for construction. Now they have taken up parking spots in front of the store so they can have a "pick up service", for a fee of course. I can't wait for the Randalls to open so I can finally purchase some brand names again. Oh, forgot to mention! HEB stops carrying a lot of brand names so they can sell their own brand. This is like shopping at a Walmart for groceries. Good luck in the future! You're going to need it to stay in business

improper unsafe medication filling, which was unauthorized, by the patient
My name is Anesia Okezie, and I have a serious complaint regarding HEB pharmacy dept. located at :
Heb Pantry grocery store
19900 Southwest Freeway
Sugarland, Tx. 77479, telephone number>[protected].
Heb pharmacy failed to adhere to the safety features inherent in my Electronic health record, which is designed to keep consumers "safe". This particular pharmacy completed "willful neglect" by requesting that a prescription be filled, from a doctor that is no longer on my insurance plan, nor provides active medical care for me, which is definitely unsafe and unlawful. Additionally, I was never contacted when HEB pharmacy contacted Dr. N. Magsino, for this inactive medication request, nor did I ever request this medication, from them. This constitutes a civil penalty, for a HIPAA violation, all due to neighborhood pharmacy greed.
I have retained the original prescription in tact, purchased by my husband, who unbeknownst to him, paid 90.68, when given to him by the HEB pharmacy.
Solution: I would like a full refund, of 90.68 and I would like to have my medical record information completely expunged, from their data bases.
Thank you for your time,
Anesia Okezie

fall in store
I fell in the store on 8/5/17. There was water coming from under a pallet of melons. When I went to pick up the melon my foot slipped and caused me to fall resulting in me twisting my wrist and bruising and cutting my left knee on the pallet. One of the managers by the name of Barbara took my info and when I called her the following day to see if anything had been done she told me that she reported the incident to Risk Management. I did not hear anything from them after a week so I called Customer Relations who got in touch with them and told me that someone would be contacting me. I received a letter in the mail just last week with contact of someone to call, which I did and left a voicemail. I have yet to get a call back or anything concerning the matter. On top of that there was a produce worker standing directly on the other side of the pallet which he did help me up and stated that was a noticeable spot of water that they should have seen and cleaned up. I however did not notice it because I was not looking down when I was walking. I will not shop at that location due to how this incident has been brushed off.
unethical, unprofessional behavior against heb security personnel at the store at 725 e. villa maria in bryan tx.
I am a 54 yr. old Black man that lives about 2 miles from the store. I've been shopping there nearly 4 yrs. I like the prices and products, but the way the security personnel treat me is unethical and unprofessional. I am certain that they treat me this way is because of a form of discrimination, not racial, because employees there are of all races that are involved in this disgusting behavior. Again I've been shopping there for nearly 4 years. I dress the way I do is what's comfortable to me. I believe they treat me like a game who can catch the Bum stealing first. I only come to shop not steal. As soon as enter the store they swarm me peeping around corners, following me throughout the store. On day I was in the produce area looking at the Roma tomatoes and an Asian employee named May was pretending to be mopping. As I turned to grab a plastic sack she was so close to me that I nearly tripped over the mop. I have arthiritis in both knees and if I was to fall I could have seriously injured my self. After I paid for my groceries and headed out the exit I spotted her peeping around a corner at me. There's a young black woman wearing a yellow shirt and glasses that does the same thing but she went further. As I was about to approach the checkout line she stepped in front of me blocking my path to the register pretending to pick up empty hand carry baskets. She also stepped in my path as I was existing store with a broom pretending to sweeping. It has gotten so bad that I fear shopping there because they may try to have me arrested on false charges. There a Arab guy wearing a yellow shirt that stands at the exit as I leave. There's also an older black woman that wears a grey shirt that started following me as I entered the store and as I again approached the checkout line she came upon me and started taking my groceries out of my basket, I had to tell her twice that I can do it myself. There's another young guy that looked like an Asian that has a buzz haircut treats me the same way. Also a white guy, tall wearing a yellow shirt treats me the same way. I've been saving up for a car so that I can shop somewhere else. My name is Jerry Mitchell, [protected]. I am a disabled Veteran as well as a college student. Before I was rear-ended last year and my car totaled I was attending Austin Community College in Austin Tx. Last year I was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars which is an honor society there. ACC has 8 or 9 campuses in and around the Austin area. Last year there were about 150 students that were inducted into the organization out of the total of over 62, 000 students, 25 were Black. I was one of Blacks as well as the oldest of all of the inducted. On Nov. 22 last year I was invited to attend the International Scholar Laureate Program Delegation on Business and Entrepreneurship held in China and Australia. I feel that this is a management problem and should be addressed ASAP. I feel that these people are out of control.
woman helper or sacker very rude
Today Wednesday August 23, 2017 at about 8:50am at the HEB on Olmos Drive I had an altercation with someone helping or a woman grocery sacker. A wonder balding gentleman told me to go to the Express Lane knowing I had more than 15 items. I told him I had trouble one time before when a manager told me to go to that lane. He said go there any problem tell them I told you to go there. The young lady (not the cashier) told me the next time go to the appropriate lane and be conciderate of othe people. I saw the gentleman who told me to go to that lane and explained, he went to talk to her. As soon as he walked way she started again, I told her just yesterday I went to the Cardoligist and I am not to have stress. I know she must have trouble with Italian Americans and not Hispanic while trying to follow protcal of the store. Surely she needs to listen to the manager gentleman to told me to go there. She did not even ask if I needed help outside even though I had to go to the pharmacy to pick up $100. or more of meds. I am 65 years old and do not need that grief or stress while shopping there.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Edward Steves, III

I was just at an heb in san antonio #23/618 and the cashiers name was emiliano g 639696 at 11:52 am 8/23/17
I was trying to purchase dog food and whitening strips. The cashier said that the whitening strips didn't have a price so refuse to sell them to me. He said literally, do you just want to go ahead and buy this because I can sell you the strips, they don't have a price. Basically telling me to deal with it. It is so unacceptable. Horrible customer service.
employee rudeness
Hi my name is Anita I was in the grocery store this afternoon with my mother. We were at the HEB on S.1st and William cannon in Austin.
Well while in line to pay. My mother was already paid and was waiting by the ice for me. She was talking to me under breathe a little low. But at a distance. She was talking about her items she purchased. Like I said at a distance. Well then she said in going to the truck. Well my jacket by the name of William. Asked the Cashier about my mom and who she was she talking to.. The cashier said I don't know. Well William kept on talking about my mom and saying some people don't have there life together and something about mental illness. I was very offended. He made weird faces and I was so embarrassed to say that's my mom. The cashier just kind of listened but the sacked William was very rude. I mean no compassion other people could have heard him speaking about this. And they could be suffering through a mental illness or their families. I was in shock to hear him continue to talk about her.in from of other customers. It was a sad moment for me. I was to o embarrassed to even tell my mother.
Please someone needs to remind your employees of their conduct and to be mindful of everyone's feelings. I shop at HEB a lot I had just spent 81 dollars in there for my family. And I hate to say it my husband suffers with mental illness Its been a long road for our family.
checking out
My cashier was super unfriendly and just plain rude. When he saw that I only had one item in my basket, he made a snide gesture with his arm like "wow really, you had to get a basket?". I'd planned to get more stuff but decided not to, excuse me for not buying enough items for your liking. I dont think he even looked at me, and forget about even saying "Hi". I even said "thank you" before I left, maybe he was having a bad day or something, but even a mildly nice person having a bad day would at least acknowledge my "thank you". His name was Salvador H and the address of this HEB is 10919 Louetta Rd, Houston, TX 77070.
heb cookies
I love heb cookies they're great but I found a paper or somewhat of an paper material inside the cookie which is honestly disguising and can't explain how it even happened to be inside. And this thing was pretty huge I can't explain how this was inside if it were a cookie sheet it would be on the edge as well but this was completely inside. This is unacceptable if anyone younger would of ate it we wouldn't even know what it is food should be food and not have nasty surprises inside!
heb guacamole
Hello,
The last thing I want to do is complain about H-E-B since we love our H-E-B. But we shop at the 281 and Evans HEB and buy the freshly made guacamole nearly every week. However, the last several times the guacamole has been fermented. It's disappointing considering Taco Tuesday at our house is my favorite only to have bad guacamole. I hope that it improves in the future and we don't have to resort to making our own guac. Definitely saves time to get HEB.
Thanks
Michael
unethical behaviour
I came into HEB Brodie & William Cannon, on Sunday the 20th of August at Noon. I came in to get beer, goat cheese and one red onion, I went to the register to check out. As my turn came up another employee stepped in and said the cashier needed to use the restroom, but she did not use the restroom just watched as this other person took over. Then the new check out person checked my valid Texas drives license rang me up and said she can not sell me alcohol because of state law. I am 38 and was a little surprised. I asked what the problem was and what law would prohibit her from selling me alcohol. She did not answer, and I paid for what she would sell me, and asked to speak to an manager. The offending person called a manager and left. The manager got there and asked what the problem was, I explained the situation. He then suggested that maybe I smelled like alcohol. This was deeply offensive because I have not been drinking, and if he thought I was, he should have called the police, and had me arrested. I then asked the manager if he thought I smelled like alcohol and he said"I can't say that", I responded that you already have. He then said that was not the reason, but it could have been. I have never been so offended by a grocery store. They would not tell me what state law I was in violation of, and would not tell me why they refused to sell me alcohol. I will avoid HEB's at all cost! The worst part was talking to the manager, I felt blown off and insulted, and lied to.
ready to eat dinner meals
I buy for my family, at least four of heb’s ready made meals a week. Specially the shrimp pasta with the spiral noodles and olive oil, it’s mt husbands favorite. I was letting my 1 year old finish the noodles, and I looked down after eating the majority of the meal myself and saw plastic! A piece of white and blue plastic! I’m just glad I got it before my kiddo.
raspberries
On [protected] I bought some. Fresh campo raspberries and on the [protected] I washed them ate like 4 and put some in my water bottle and In the very bottom I saw a brown thing moving it was a worm a big brown worm And I hope I dont get sick with this it was very disgusting and very unpleasant to eat something that has worms and the worm is not dead it still moves its inside one of the raspberries I bought this raspberries in the HEB located at 4031 E. Hwy 83 Rio Grande City, Tx 78582. I bought other fruits that day I like to shop at Heb I dont go no were else to buy my groceries I hope you can do something about this because it is a very unpleasant experience to buy something that had a worm and to buy something like that when everythings suppose to be better.
heb dog food
I purchased a 12 pack case of the HEB dog food and today in opening one of the cans found a piece of plastic in the food. Our dog has been ill for the past 3 months throwing up and has been to the vet twice for x-rays and put on medication for nausea. He has been eating this food for the same amount of time. Now I know why! I opened this can and put it into his bowl and because I had to add medication I was stirring the bowl and found this in the can.
checking out
Today when I was checking out, with Maria and she was just absolutely rude when I was trying to check out. I bought about $128 in groceries. And I'm very unhappy with the customer service she provided. When I was trying to ask how do I use the online coupons. She became rude and talked to me like if I couldn't understand. And when I her manager was there Deborah. Was the same, rude and explaining so rudely. They had an attitude towards my family and I. When she rag up our check out again after all the situation. She was just done with us and didn't do all the coupons I had provided from heb. Which they had layed out around the store. Her self as the manager where completely rude and cruel. I have never gone to shop and a situation like this has happen. But I'm not whiling to come back for a while. Since the service is so bad.
cashier - henry t
On Tuesday 15, 2017 I had the worst experience with a cashier name Henry T. He was throwing my groceries when he had marketed them down. I ask him the first time to stop throwing my things like the way he was treating them, I don't know if he was in a bad mood but he continued with his same attitude. I ask him if he was going to pay them and he said no and once again I told him, so why if you are not the one buying them, why are you keep doing it.
To make the story short, I got near to one of the manager and explained to her the problem because the cashier ruin some of the thing I was going to buy.
I spend 45 minutes and I'm not exaggerating, I spend 45 minutes in line waiting for this guy to help me and this is the treatment I receive. I can promise you that I have never done a complain but, this time he was just really mean and rude.
I just hope that you can do something about it and have well trained employees.
visa debit card
I bought one for my mom and dad at Christmas because I thought it was a gift card, but apparently it's not. My parents haven't been able to use it because they are not able to activate it. These are older people who can't remember well and this NetSpend company is not very helpful. Y'all should let people know before they buy this card that they will be asked for social security number, bank information, credit history, etc and that a third party will have it and can sell it to whoever they want. H. E. B. should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of Texans!
pharmacy
Unprofessional service at store #427 Pharmacy on 8/12 5:30pm. While picking up a prescription for blood glucose test strips, I asked for lancets that were in a locked case. The male pharmacist told me that the case was not locked. I said that it was and he again told me that he was positive that it was not locked. I said that I would check again and it was still locked. I said why don't you just accept that the customer is telling you that the case is locked and get the requested item. The pharmacist started getting an attitude and started telling me that they never lock the case. Another Pharmacist started laughing at me and that upset me because I still did not have the item that I needed. A third pharmacist opened the case and obtained the lancets. While checking me out, the laughing pharmacist began to belittle me and made comments about my ability to use the POS card reader.
This behavior is unacceptable and should understandably irritate anyone. The pharmacists need to be reminded that the customer comes first and to avoid getting an attitude when they make a mistake.
infested produce and horrible customer service
I had the most horrific & embarrassing experience at HEB #563 on 08/10/16. I bought produce and discovered when I got home that it was infested with mites. The manager implied that the infestation came from my house when she stated "well no one else has complained but I guess I can give you $25 gift card for your inconvenience, like she was doing me a favor. She did not offer to investigate the matter which I know she could have pulled video or looked up the transaction. Instead she made a seen by having to more managers/directors come ask me the same questions and not offer a solution.
I frequent that store at least 5 times a week or more but after that I will never go back. I would like to have a refund for the produce I purchased, not a gift card. I would like to discuss this further Please call me [protected], my name is Elisha Mason.
