I bought Tostigar taco shells October 22 or 23 and they were expired last May 25, 2017 and you still had on sale October, I back October 25 to see because you had several and I saw them and I took a picture of them you still had on sale... I had stomach infection, needed to travel to see my doctor and get a treatment... I back to complain and manager named Brice asked me my info.. after a few days someone called me to say why I didnt realize they were rancid and it was weird... I think weird is you dont check what you have on sale. The woman probably said her name I dont remember it and She said did you get a refund? I said no I just gave Mr Brice the box of taco shellsbecause its price was around 2 dollas but I kept the receipt she said that's perfect I will send to you a gift card thank you and Im sorry.
Im not waiting for the card Im surprised I thought more than groceries you sell SERVICE.
Of course if that woman asked me about what I need I would say nothing because Im responsible about my health but Im really upset the service you have on these situations because im sure if I dont give the manager back the shells probably would be different.
I paid the shells, I didnt ask for refund, I give them back to the manager, I paid my antibiotic and doctor, the travel and I just got back "Im sorry... didnt you realize the were rancid because the smelling could be rancid" really that's the way you justify to sell expired food?
Anyway at least I released what I was feeling because im upset... please give a better service.

I'm very disappointed to wonder why my kids and I being feeling sick after eating our pecan pie. Well come to find out the pecans expired on July 20, 2017 and I just bought them on November 18, 2017 on Bellaire Blvd in Houston. This is extremely ridiculous. They need to proper trained each person properly who stock shelves. No customer deserves this
employee harassment
I am complaining of an employee patty quintero who works for central boulevard in brownsville tx. She is harassing customers and bothering them into joining a d crunch gym.. I go to heb to buy and not to b harrased by an employee.. instead of working for heb during her shift she is using that time to promote another business the crunch.. she told me that I am fat and I have lots of cellilite.. thats not any of her business.. plastic shard found in heb frozen buttermilk biscuits
This morning as I was preparing some of your HEB Frozen Buttermilk Biscuits, when I reached into the bag to remove some biscuits, something sharp scraped my hand. After emptying the bag, I found a gray, sharp, pointy shard of thick plastic inside. Luckily, this shard just scratched my hand, but if I had hit it on the point it could have made quite a puncture wound. I have attached a picture of the biscuit bag with the plastic shard next to it.
arrogant, rude and discrimination by manager
I go very often to heb-plus pharr since I moved 4 years ago, I love shopping here, friendly and helper personnel except for a woman who is the manager of the cashiers named annete (ironic is a woman should be friendly or at least empathic with other moms). I have 2 toodlers and and its very difficult keep on the go all day long. I used heb app to save money with coupons, we are 5 @home. This is not the first time I received rude service or neglected by annete the manager, it seems that she does not love her job because never is willing to help. Last night I was on the line but unfortunately my heb app failed (not first time and I have reported some times because I don't want to make cashiers or manager overwork especially when manager annete is on charge) she again were arrogant and asking if I have the right products (in english and she knows that I dont speak english but I read and write), I said "si ahi estan" then I point to my car with effort because I had my baby on my arms and point the products and I was trying to showed her the app coupons (in my mind trying to make her help me) but she neglected me, ignore me and I was carrying my ba boy and my other toddler trying to go out the car... It was really bad moment for me expending time and what I felt was terrible because she wanted to low me humiliating with her attitude (not first time) and finally instead of speed the line puting the code of digital coupons she said "no pasa" (dont pass) and look at me but no more words maybe should tell me something else... So I assume to remove the products and wait to cancel items then she did it and move her face in circle and gone.
I expend more time than usually tired carrying my baby because he fell asleep and everybody noticed that I was really tired.. I have to apologies to the people of line behind and I was trying to understand why this woman is so arrogant... Others managers have helped me introducing manually codes checking previously in a friendly manner. I understand that managers have a lot of work, administrating, dealing with people but managers has to have high spirit of service someone who is not tolerant or has emotional intelligence should not be a manager, should be in a positions that do not involve human relations, counting products to avoid offend and humiliate persons. Next time I will put complain with bbb please talk with her. Thank you.

My mom and I were enjoying some sandwiches tonight when we discovered (for the second time) some brown spots on our lettuce. This could be mud or feces, nevertheless it wastes the product and also our money when we have to throw away produce because we're unaware of what exactly is stuck on the product. This would be of no concern if this product didn't claim to be "Washed, Hand Trimmed and Ready for Use". This product was also being consumed two days before the expiration date. I have been having problems with this store, and I have talked to managers about this several times. There are multiple people at the Brenham, Texas HEB that are friends with someone that my fiancee and I had a child custody court with. These people have been taking pictures of my children and myself without consent. In my opinion it is very unprofessional for employees to be mixing personal life with work. Since it is multiple employees doing this I cannot just give out names. I'm buying food for my family and should not made to be feel as if we are in danger, these people are sending pictures to the woman who has been taking us to court for multiple untrue reasons. I have experienced serious harassment at a HEB Supermarket after exposing a group called Citizens Corps. I have multiple video on my YouTube page https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Nam38rU4hHs I was later followed around in the community and systematically harassed by a few store employees . I had many encounters with people wearing black suits and driving black SUVs that appear to be using stakeholders from DHS to participate. I left New Mexico due to persistent harassment in supermarkets. I have also discovered a GPS tracker under my car. It appears that HEB is involved in corporate engagement with police andfusion centers. When I recorded the harassment to share with the store manager the said I couldn't record that. What is strange is that I shared with an assistant manager a pamphlet of a car that kept showing up parked next to me at school and other places will weeks later this same guy sits parked next to me with another person standing near my car. Within seconds of asking this guy why he is doing this the store manager came out its like this entire thing was planned out. It's like HEB supports mobbing activity.

I can imagine how annoying that could be. Taking pictures of someone is not illegal that's what they say but its totally unethical and leave you with no privacy at all. I was at your texas city store, which I drive from Galveston. I needed some Dr teals epson salt. Couldn't find any epson salt, ask the pharmacy, and they pointed to where it is, well none on shelf at all, pharmacy no help, I found a manager in store, he called a associate to scan the item to see if there was any on hand. So I walked the guy to the tag, he just said oh we don't have any. I asked him, so you just know this without scanning it. He said yes, we might get some in by next Monday. I have a injury and need that specific one and you carry it, I don't think I will drive from Galveston anymore to get this kind of service, I will stick with walmart.

On Saturday 11/04/17 around 5:45am I was checking out my groceries at the self checkout. I had to do self checkout because at the HEB on Texas Ave in College Station the registers aren't open that early in the morning. As I was placing my bags in the cart I was approached by an HEB worker who asked to see my receipt. I was a little confused but I handed it over with no objections. The worker then looked over the items that I'd purchased, and proceeded to look through my bags to ensure that everything that was in the bags was on the receipt. He then handed me back the receipt and I left. This experience was something that is extremely offensive and disrespectful to me. For whatever reason, it just so happened that the one black person that was at the self checkout was the only one that they did this to when there were several other people there who all just so happened to be white. What bothered me the most about the entire ordeal was that I was standing with my $1000 phone in hand, my $500 extensions, and my $55 manicure yet, I still somehow looked like someone who would steal $30 worth of groceries to these people. I have never been, so appalled and disgusted with an organization in my life. This experience was frustrating and humiliating, and I think this company as a whole needs to reevaluate how you all are training your employees because what they did to me wasn't right.

My name is Amanda Tolmachoff Im submitting this complaint because on Monday October 30 I called the Lake Jackson HEB pharmacy to refill my husband's medication. I was told it would be ready on tuesday. I go to HEB on Tuesday and the woman at the window informs me that it wasn't in and still out of stock. Then she specifically tells me that it would be in by 10am Wednesday. So today Wednesday November 1, I go to the pharmacy at approximately 4:00 p.m. and was told they didnt have it, that it was out of stock. Being upset, my husband calls the pharmacy to complain about the situation and they advise him that they do in fact have it in stock and that whoever was working the drive through was allegidly unaware that the truck came in so they that is why told me it wasnt in stock. Although I do not understand this rationalization given to my husband because i was there 5 minutes prior to my husband calling to there is no way an entire truck was unloaded in 5 minutes and the inventory instantly updated? This has happened to me three days in a row now and its getting to be very difficult to be understanding. Im wasting gas at this point going off of the guidance given to me by the staff at the pharmacy.

Yet again I ended up with out an item I purchased. Hate to think how much money I've spent and never got home with the product! I don't even bother going back, the item has always disappeared by the time I get back to the store.
The lines at your check out stands have gotten very long. I even had a cashier race me to the check out and then spent a long time talking to co-workers, while I waited. There was a person there to bag but I ended up bagging my own groceries.
Over the years your customer service has really gone down hill!

10/11/17 Your cashier is very rude her name is Laura she was throwing the items like she was upset because one of the customers was returning some meat because I was bad and I guess she did'nt like but she was rude to three different customers in the robstown tx store we spend alot of money in this store and some of the time meat is bad and vegetables and fruits are bad we complain but like I said we spend alot of money so we expect better quality of food and better customer service when we go to other stores they have better of everything better products and better service.We really did'nt appreciate her acting that way .

I was in line buying groceries along with an alcoholic beverage. The cashier asked to see my ID so I proceeded to show her my military ID card. She asked if she could see another form of identification in which confused me. A military ID clearly has the date of birth on the back and a picture in the front. Does HEB not accept military ID’s? I’ve never had an issue presenting that form of ID anywhere else until today.

My husband and I are both former HEB partners we both worked at the HEB warehouse in San Marcos Texas. We had an issue where my husband was neglected his bereavement days when our child passed away and had funeral arrangements. I was put in disability and when I wanted to return back to work my supervisor notified me that my job was given to someone else. heb #41 digital 'exclusive' coupon
Well today I went to H-E-B #41 to get H-E-B diapers and heb wipes to use the $10 off your $50 purchase. I was told I could only get one due to the shortage of diapers and there was a sign that customers could only get 1 package of diapers and wipes (totally missed that itty bitty sign). This is ridiculous how can heb have a sale going on and not meet the needs of the consumer ridiculous! The cashier had to take all the diapers and wipes off. To top that off they were for my niece who lives in Houston and was a victim of the flooding. Smh. I expected more from HEB. Wow wow!

I visit your store #16 on 09/15/2017 found a manager on duty to complain about a abandoned basket left in front of my house that has been sitting there for last 2 weeks. The manager Mr Frank response was unsatisfactory poor judgement. Frank gave me a response of they have contacted someone by email to get a truck and trailer to able pick the abandoned shopping cart. How much more these the neighborhood have to continue to see this eye sore every day? Manager himself needs a refreshment in customer service! Needs understand solution empathize with a customer apologize for the situation managers need to be crisp clean and friendly always have the right attitude.

I know it's hard in small town, close knit stores, to have both customer and cashier set aside personal feelings. I know I can't expect too much. I just want to make notice of a cashier who I know has been working there for some time. I grew up seeing her work there. I only remember her face. As I have grown up and taken care of my own grocery shopping I find that no matter how happy and friendly this cashier is to everyone before me once I arrive at checkout this person is cold, impatient, and unwelcoming. I know I'm not a super model or a local town hero. I know I'm nothing special except for a local person. I don't miss a shower or forget to brush my teeth. I'm not very talkative but I do smile at strangers. I just felt hurt. You don't want to start your morning feeling like someone kicked you in the stomach and ran away. I don't have any idea who she is or what her story is in reference to me. Mistaken identity? The point is I know HEB prides itself on its reputation, an excellent reputation, and if this cashier is meant to represent that then they are failing the company. It's not up to them to judge me... just to greet me with human decency and compassion. I could be suffering a loss, from mental illness, from financial woes, or general grief. Starting off a day like this could damage anyone's psyche. You can share a smile with two strangers before me but just not me? You don't know me either...

Between yesterday and today we discovered that they all expired at the end of August and had to throw them away. We don't have the receipt anymore, but can we get them replaced?

HEB use to have a freshness guarantee call "fresh or free" customer's had the ability to raise these issues immediately with the store management and as a result the out-of-date products were pulled from the store shelves and the customer finding the out of date product were rewarded for bringing this to HEBs attention. Since dissolution of this quality program, I've noticed marked increase of out of date products left on the shelves for the public to purchase.
