I had booked reservations for 2 rooms for 27 Mar 20 at Holiday Inn Express, Alabaster, Al. I recieved from guest reservations Confirmation #R1926985177 that my reservations were prepaid and is fully guaranteed on 17 Mar 20. Holiday Inn Security

On the 5th of March we arrived at the hotel. We noticed a woman passed out in front of the building and informed the front desk. The night manager didn't seem to care and never called the police or EMS. The side door of the building was missing a locking device and the door remained open 24-7. We complained about this also, but the manager said "only people staying here use the door". On the 6th of March a drunk man (attached picture) was wandering the halls approaching the young girls staying at the hotel. We again complained - the manager said he was asked to leave. On Saturday night at 3AM, the same man was banging on doors yelling "let me in". No concern from the front desk. I was continually complaining to the front desk and e-mailing the Holiday Inn Customer Service site. There was no action taken from corporate or the local management. There was no security to speak of, but the front desk said security comes in at 11:00 PM. Our stay was for a stay and play volleyball tournament, so we were mandated to stay in a tournament affiliated hotel. I also contacted the tournament Host. I understand things happen beyond the control of the hotel, but the lack of concern, understanding, or potential for a tragic event, was mind blowing. This care free attitude continued with corporate customer service.

Holiday Inn unfairly billed for ungrounded charges

On 11/16/19 my husband (George) and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Tucson, AZ. We paid the bill of $93.64 (which we agreed to) on 11/16/19. When I received my November 2019 credit card statement on 11/29/19, I saw the charge for $93.64 and $495.00. George called the hotel that day and spoke to Jose. Jose claimed George (or someone?) had been smoking in a no-smoking hotel and the charges were for smoking violation. George asked for proof. Evidently the housekeeper found several cigarette wrappers in the trash. Yes, George did smoke outside in the parking lot and put the empty wrappers in his pocket and then in the room's trash can. He didn't want to litter the parking lot. Jose agreed to reverse the charges. George asked for an email confirmation.

On 12/1/19 I hadn't received any confirmation. George called the hotel again and spoke to Esperanza. She said she would contact General Manager, Javier Cruz, who would be in the following Monday and leave him a note.

Today, 12/2/19 George spoke to Mr Cruz. George explained the situation. Mr Cruz said since empty cigarette wrappers were found in the trash can, that "proves" George smoked in the room. No cigarette buttes were found. No ashes were found or seen in the room, but "empty" wrappers meant George was guilty. The $495.00 would stand.

I believe we have been unfairly charged. George never smoked in the room. There has been no established "proof" of smoking. There were no buttes, ashes, or smoke smell in the room. But the housekeeper did sort thru our trash…..?...and found empty wrappers. That is groundless proof of smoking.

Please review this and agree that the $495.00 charge has no grounds to be supported. Please reverse these charges from my credit card. We thank you in advance.

Same with my stay. Smoking fee charged abd was asked to leave when in fact I don't smoke and am a cancer patient. Was told I would receive a refund but have not.

I stayed in room 1807 on 11-4-19 to 11-8-19. When i checked in I was unaware that I had to have 100.00 on a card to check in. I surrendered my card with all the information for it but they would not work with me and were very rude that they didn't care about my situation. As I was there for training I was able to get my Supervisor to put her card up. OKAY...

Holiday Inn timeshare

Avoid this company at all costs, even if you like timeshares. They are considered to be one of the dirty dozen timeshare companies who are unethical. They lied in their presentation about several things such as the actual value of the ownership package, the locations where I could travel and use my points, the stability of the maintenance fees, and the demand and ability to rent my week out to someone else. I have since found out that this is called fraud in the inducement and there is a lawsuit pending against them. I wish I had found that out before and avoided the whole scam. This is definitely not real estate.

Holiday Inn holiday inn club vacation

9/29/19 i called to get my points fixed and that was fine then was transferred to Samuel em#63196 who talked very fast about staying 4days 3 night for 199. and would get it back so it was free. I keep telling him I had to talk to my husband but he said that I could call back and cancel no problem. talked to my husband he said no so I called back within I hour and got transfer so many number it was nuts. So I called back again today and was put on hold for an hour then given more numbers. My husband is disabled and can, t take a tour we want our money back my name is wanda grabovich my rewards club number is [protected] I did not know I was joining club vacation my phone number is [protected] . Holiday Inn service

worst experience ever from holiday inn. on 8/31 i was driving north to beat the hurricaneand i picked up a coupon book in virginia. when i arrived after driving 51 miles to stay at a holiday inn, i was told they would not honor the coupon and the rate would be $135 instead of $89, the coupon stated their might be a slight upcharge on friday or saturday, it was 50%. when i got into the room their was pubic hair on the toilet seat, i cleaned it myself, glad i carry lysol. when i checked out the girl told me it was to early to get a receipt(4 a m)and she would email to me . still waiting i used to build restuarants in the northesat and often used holiday inn or affiliats( can be verified by priority card platnum) very dissapointed location was woodstock va thanks

Holiday Inn reservation

I made a reservation to evaccuate for Hurrican Dorian. I booked so I could cancel. I called on 8/30 to add days. My cc was charged for the additional days. I wanted to be able to cancel if necessary for the additional days. I was told by Julie on 8/30 7:05 AM I could not cancel the 3 days I added on. She said there were no more rooms available that could be cancelled and I will have to move rooms. This is rediculous. I will be complaining to the State of Florida regarding your Hurricane policies.

Holiday Inn housekeeping

I worked in housekeeping for that location and I have to tell you DONT ever work there. The manager is horrible and biased. She lets people do almost nothing and makes the new employees do it all. No uniforms and they steal tips from others rooms. It's the worst place ever to work. I ended up quitting because the DM turns a blind eye to the whole circus. It's awful. Holiday Inn does not care about employees at all!

I worked for holiday inn express for 3 yrs, I was never late.i got fired cause I wouldn't go int rooms cause they were full of mold.we had 42 rooms out of order due to mold contamination and I have pics and videos of it.the place was so bad my dr told me to leave that establishment.but they fired me instead.now they put a hold on my unemployment.is this how you treat your hardworking employees
