This has been a nightmare for us. There is no transparency, no communication, no honesty. Holiday Inn has told lie after lie. When we have come forward with this information and have been met with silence. We thought telling them about our experience and why we no longer want the timeshare would at least warrant more of a response and some cooperation. Their unresponsiveness tells us they don’t care that their own employees are running their business into the ground. Holiday Inn told us our points would never expire, which is not true. They also did not prepare us for the high interest rate, the increases in the maintenance fee, or the extra fees for reservations. The only side benefiting is Holiday Inn. Our daughter went through cancer and we have ongoing bills to pay for those treatments. When she finally went into remission we wanted to take a family trip but all of our points were gone. Imagine our surprise and anger. There is no way for us to sell it to get away from Holiday Inn and we can’t rent it to make back any of our wasted money. Now, we are prioritizing major medical bills and our family. Holiday Inn has not done right by us and they have not come forward with any reasonable means to release us.
