ding dongs
My mother bought 3 packs of ding dongs at a local convenience store. When my daughter started to eat them, she said it tasted like soap. I said what can be bad it's cake and chocolate. She left it by me and walked away. I took a bite and immediately had to spit it out! Tasted like poison. I never tasted anything like this before! I threw them all out! What was that and how did it pass quality control?
twinkies
The last three boxes of Twinkies that I have bought, like a fool, have had four or more rock hard twinkies per box! The individual wrapping has not been fastened and the twinkies are dried out, and so hard they could pave the sidewalk! They were purchased over the last two months from different locations. What's up that the cakes are not being sealed?
butterfinger brownies
This product is states it's new but was not worth the 1.99 I paid! The brownies are hard, dry, and very sticky! I took one bite and to the garbage it went! Best By date is March 31, 2018! It was purchased on 3/5/18! I love Hostess products but this Brownie w/ Butterfinger was not good at all! Maybe a bad batch or something! This does not deter me from trying other new products!
Wow! Horrible, nothing like the pic, I did not taste butterfinger AT ALL! very disappointed, also why do I need to sign up to leave a review
not packaged right
I purchased some Hostess Ding Dongs original ones opened one up it tasted like mint then notice it had a green tint to the cream opened another one to see if it was the same and it was threw them both away still have the rest now I have to either get a ride to the store to return them or count it as a loss. I don't like mint I wanted original ding dongs
all-but mainly ho ho's
I used to love Ho Ho's over any other swiss cake roll on the market. It had a great dark chocolate coating, and they were just plain delicious. Now, I wouldn't even feed them to my dog. They've shrunk in size, they're using cheap ingredients, and over-all, all of the products have downgraded. Maybe you should've stayed in bankruptcy, because of the rate you're going, you're going right back there. Shame on you Hostess execs-for taking a top quality American brand and turning it into crap at a high price!
cherry snack size fruit pies
I bought 3 boxes for lunches in mid Jan. When opened, they were very dry, and not much cherry taste, besides being so SMALL! The little pie crumbled in my hands! I used to buy these alot, but the last several times has been the same., always dry, no cherries or even juice at all! These Sat best buy by FEB 12, 2018. Also a code on the box - 1209 82000, if that helps. The price I paid was $2.50 a box, and they were all 3 purchased from the Kroger store in Tiffin. I am very disappointed in your product, and will consider this purchase when I am shopping for my family. They lack the quality and taste that Hostess has always had a good name for. The size is ridiculous, and only a couple bites for some family members. Definitely not worth the time, or the money!
hostess suzy q's
I was happy to see that I could once again purchase your Suzy Q's. However,
that feeling was short lived--your new product is nothing short of inferior of the original Suzy Q's!
Very dry, what happened to the dark chocolate?, flat cake vs. the plump cake
and basically had to look for the cream filling--
I wondering what product the people were eating that had their comments printed on your box--no way was it the same product that I ate! Have asked other people if they have purchased the new Suzy Q's and they have the same feeling as myself--won't purchase another box.
Of course, I am only one customer so I am sure that I did not burst your bubble--
chocolate flavored mini donuts
Upc. [protected] purchased at walmart
2nd st. Reno, nv. Thought I would give them
Another try. The hard shell icing is good, the cake part is very dry, almost hard. Not a soft
Moist cake. I make little donuts at home and
Mine are better, hoffer donuts lol.
Since I have your ear, 20 years ago your choclate cupcakes had. Thicker icing. Nothing is the same.
See picture, you can see the dryness.
the product isn't like advertised
As a loyal customer of a box a week it saddened me to even try this series of Hostess Ding Dongs. I paid regular price for 2 less to see if they were better than the original. I was dissatisfied by the little creme in the middle and the sliver of toppings. How is the picture attached anything like the box. It was a waste of my money. I placed your own product on the box to let you see how pathetic this was for a loyal customer.

hostess bakery petites-double chocolate cake delights
Bought these in Walmart. Milford Delaware. These claim to be creme filled mini cakes. There was little to no creme in the cakes. What an extreme disappointment. Even the chocolate coating fell off them when taking them out of the bag! Certainly not the quality of product that I would expect from your company. The Best buy date was March 5, 2018 with the following number below it: E [protected]:40 G Quite expensive for the few that are in the package. would like to either have my money back or a coupon to try them again, if you improve them and include creme in the center and a chocolate ganache that actually stayed on them! By the way they were purchased the beginning of February 2018.
hostess bakery petites brownie delights, chocolate raspberry
The UPC code is [protected] 1. I purchased these at Walmart in Gaylord MI at the end of January. They really tasted bad and had a bad aftertaste.
I normally really like your products but this one is just bad tasting.
They seemed to be stale as well but like I said the taste was really bad.
Hostess products are fairly expensive and usually worth it but not in this case.
I really don't remember how much I did pay since it was a couple of weeks ago but I am not going to eat these.
chocolate covered mini donuts
I bought a bag of chocolate covered mini donuts 1/30/18 and ate 5 donuts at 8 pm. By 11pm I was vomiting up the chocolate donuts and it didn't subside until 5 am. Diarrhea accompanied the vomiting as well. I was not able to eat anything 1/31/18 and had soup 2/1/18 that resulted in stomach pain and cramps. What's up Hostess? I'm concerned and think you should look into if anyone else has stated the same recently.
bakery petites fudge blondie
I purchased these for my trip to the city n when I opened the bag in the car right from the store this is what was in the bag not one whole cookie n they are not cheap very disappointed when u purchase a new product n u can't wait to taste it and all that was in your bag was crumbs is pretty sad because like I said they were not cheap by any means maybe they should pack them better so they all don't get crushed
hostess donettes powdered sugar
Just having total knee replacement it's next to impossible to get to the store. Kroger's today and got two bags of my favorite hostess Donettes powdered sugar. Low and behold they are so stale it's sickening. They are dated February 18, 2018 but taste like 2017. There's no way to get back to the store. I can just see employees bagging the stale donuts and laughing. Just my thought. Well thanks for the rock hard donuts. A very dissatisfied customer.
hostess mini muffins
They were one of my favorites I don't know what y'all did to change them but it's horrible they tasted way better before you tried to make them healthier I guess and they are not good anymore change them back please I used to love them. They were so much better why does everything have to be changed and tried to make healthier obviously it's carbs and not good for you so why ruin them for everyone else seriously please change them back to the original they were so good I loved them when I decided to indulge a little once in a while. Hopefully you will consider my request thank you so much.
cinnamon streusel coffee cake
Jan 25, 2018
I am very disappointed in my Hostess product.
I bit down into something hard in my coffee cake square.
Upon observation it appears to be a sharp plastic tab, I pulled 2 halves out of my mouth and have attached a picture as to what it looks like.
I have thrown the whole box away as to not repeat incident.
I have kept the culprit cake though.
Can you please send me a fresh box of quality controlled coffee cakes.
donettes - frosted mini donuts
On Wednesday the 10th of January, I purchased this product at Falton's foods in Cottingham - East riding of Yorkshire. My partner and I have fond memories of our time in the United States and were delighted to come across this little gem. However, we were horrified to open the packet and be met with a strong chemical petroleum based smell. We checked the product was in date; which it was (20th March 2018). The product had a strong dirty soiley taste. Later that evening my partner and I was suffered a terrible case of sickness and diarrhea.
We are both saddened by this as this was on of our favorite snacks in the States. We accept that these things sometimes do happen, but we did not expect to get so poorly off a snack that was still in date. We have kept the packaging and product just in case it is required for further investigation.
Kindest regards,
Heather Milligan
Hostess Chocolate Peanut Butter Twinkies
While eating one of your twinkies we were very dissapointed as there was no peanut butter filling in 2 of your twinkies, just the chocolate cake. The bar code number is [protected], purchased at Walmart on 12/27/2017. We love your products and love peanut butter so this was a real treat. Thank you for your attention to this matter. hostess mini muffins
I bought 2 boxes last night at Kroger in Beamont Circle Lexington KY 1 box had an empty package in it the empty package was sealed just like it had neen missed. The other box had 2 packages stuck in the box edge or to the box packaging on the edge where the box is glued in which caused them to have no air and be stale my family loves hostess! (: I'm sure this is just a mistake in the line that does packaging and I would be very satisfied to receive a coupon for 2 more hostess box of chocolate chip muffins Thank You S.Hall
new white fudge ding dongs...
What a rip off!
I bought a box of the new white fudge Ding Dongs 10 in the Box they are super small we are so disappointed... if you're going to make a product half the size why don't you lower the price to compensate?
Regular Ding Dongs are twice the size.. I will say they have a great flavor but not worth the price for such a small product..
We are very disappointed...
I recently purchased a box of the traditional chocolate Ding Dongs. Somebody at the Hostess Factory used the shrink ray gun on the regular Ding Dongs as well.

Good Afternoon !
Spotted a New Item at one of our local Meijer stores; WHITE FUDGE Hostess Ding Dongs (which by the way, is a much better name than the once used King Dons), and decided, I had to try them. I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised on how well they tasted. All aspects of taste seemed to be very good, maybe even TOO good, as I am a mild diabetic, and should most likely only ate about one-third of one, which would be about 15 grams of Carbohydrates, acceptable for a snack. Unfortunately, I ended up eating TWO of them, and could have easily went for a third one. Bought another box, and gave it to my adult son, who does not like regular chocolate (sometimes I wonder if he really is my kid, or did someone switch him at birth) and he found these to be pretty good also. I did feel they were a little smaller than what I kind of remember, but, in the interest of better health for the American, and other people, they should most likely stay that size. I would suggest that you not change a thing with the production of these enjoyable snack cakes. Thanks again ! Keep up the good work.
