white fudge ding dong
I just bought a one of the new white fudge ding dong and it taste and smell like chemical. It taste horrible and it smell loud. I just bought this pie and i open the package and the smell was loud and very noticeable. When I bite it I had to spit it out and brush my teeth. The smell is still lingering around my home. I was really excited to try this new product but not any more.
hostess zingers
I purchased two boxes of Hostess raspberry zingers, one box the labeling was different from the other the word raspberry was in large print on one box and small print on the other… I got home the wife opened a box and put them in the glass cake holder so the grandbabies could access them easily, I came through pick one up opened it the first bite it was as if I had Took a drink of some type of chemical, the feeling in my mouth cannot be described, it absorbs quickly and the taste was so bad that I started throwing up immediately for five minutes or so I was throwing up, we quickly distinguished between the two boxes the rapper had C 20:03 ... good box had B 8:28 unfortunately she had not tip the boxes so as to get a code off of it… They were purchased at the super dollar in Rose Hill VA 24281 it is a subsidiary of food city, I have the one that I bit off of that made me so sick and also three others with the same code, I am trying to find somewhere that it can be analyzed to determine what type of chemical is on this or in this linger…

donettes
I bought a bag of Donettes at my local Shoprite yesterday, they were located at the entrance of the store on sale for $1.99. I did my shopping went home put my groceries away and then last night my boyfriend went to go get a glass of milk and grabbed the bag of donettes. He opened the bag, grabbed one and bite into one...he immediately spit it out and gagged.. It tasted horrible and old. We looked at the date on the package and could not believe it, the expiration date was June 29, 2017, exactly 4 months. How can Shoprite put something on the shelf that is 4 months old? How could they still have them in stock? OR did Hostess ship it to them and didn't realize they were old? How can Hostess or Shoprite even let something like this get past them? I want an explanation as to how this could possibly have happened. We called Shoprite and they said that we can bring the bag back with the receipt and they will give me back my money. No apologies or nothing! So unprofessional! I will be making sure that someone apologizes!
Will expect a reply within 24 hours, NOT 4 months.
Thanks

ding dongs
I purchased Ding Dongs the other day from Wal-Mart. I go to eat one and there was no cream filling. Today 10/29/17 my daughter ate one and again there was no filling! It's extremely frustrating. I'm a single mother and can't efford to always buy them, but when I do I enjoy them every much. My child and I are very disappointed! What can you do to make up for it?
hostess ho ho's
I am a long consumer of Hostess Ho Ho's, 45 years. I have noticed that Hostess has changed the Ho Ho Brand. Hostess has replaced the dark chocolate with a cheaper less dark chocolate that doesn't taste as good as the old Ho Ho's from the past. I am disappointed, that Hostess has changed the quality of the Hostess Ho Ho's. I am not going to purchase any more Hostess Ho, Ho's.
chocolate-covered twinkies
On 10/25/2017 I purchase a box of chocolate-covered Twinkies at my local market package was not expired open them the next morning had one for breakfast it had a strong chemical smell and taste. Not only did they smell and taste of chemicals the after effect caused numbing effects within my mouth.Thinking that it was mainly only one I opened another and another and another all the same I return them to the store for a refund and the complaint the store management said I needed to contact Hostess myself, and stated that this was not the first complaint they had from the hostess line of snacks. So here I am contacting you. In hopes that we may resolve this. Until some resolution has been made of your qualities I will no longer purchase Hostess snacks thank you.
mini muffins-blueberry
I am writing to let you know how disappointed I was when I opened a package of the Blueberry mini muffins. They were so tiny and to dense.I understand trying to cut corners with the rising cost of everything, but making them this small is crazy. They use to be mini but took two bites & light and fluffy, now they are barely 1 bite not fluffy and taste like they were over cooked I hope this was just a bad batch and not your new way of saving a few cents,
donettes powdered
I was eating one of the donnettes I just barely pulled out of the package and I bit down and I feel this pain in my tooth, I felt something hard and I freaked out, I reached inside my mouth and pulled out this plastic piece. It was a little upsetting due to the fact that my son was just about to eat it and lucky he didn't cause he could have choked. I was very surprised cause I buy them all the time and have only had issues with them being moldy never things inside!
ho ho's, suzy q's
I am so disappointed with Hostess changing their receipes. I grew up loving Suzy Q's and Ho Ho's. Imagine my surprise when I opened a box of HoHo's recently and was horrified to see the chocolate was changed from dark chocolate to milk chocolate...or whatever that was...AWFUL! Dear Hostess,
GO BACK TO THE BEGINNING, BECAUSE YOU SUCK! Please return to the original recipes. This is what set Hostess apart from the rest. Until then, I'm done as a customer.
cherry pies
I recently purchased a cherry pie from the grocery store. I don't know what you did to the recipe, but it is not the same product that I had previously purchased. The dough is dense and soggy, not light, flaky, and crispy. The glaze on the pie is virtually non-existant, and there was hardly any filling in the pie. In fact, it looked like some of it had absorbed into the crust. I know that I used to love these pies, but I will not be purchasing them again. I don't know how you can put "new and improved" and "our best pie ever" on the box, because, quite frankly, these pies are absolutely horrible.
raspberry zinger, chocolate covered twinkie, chocolate twinkie
I recently purchased some of your products. They were not expired or even close to the expiration date. They were horrible and a disappointment. They were the raspberry zinger, the chocolate covered Twinkie (which was the worse) the cake was hard and the chocolate on it made it it hard and spongy. The chocolate Twinkie was also very firm not like cake at all. I tried the white fudge ding dong and it was the best out of all the products and it was still below average. The only product I would buy would be your coffee cake. I always enjoyed your products as a child but I’m disappointed now
Take the product along with your receipt back to the store of purchase. They should be able to assist you with a replacement or a refund.
hostess donettes cinnamon sugar crunch
I usually am not one to complain and always give credit where its due but in this case I need to make a complaint. Recently my wife and I went grocery shopping at our local FoodLion. We decided this trip we would switch it up and try Hostess doughnuts as we haven't bought them in many months due to quality of product and the amount of bang you get for your buck. We have enjoyed the products over the years but as I stated the quality is poor and it always seems dry. The product I purchased was one bag of hostess doughnuts of the powder doughnuts and one bag of cinnamon sugar crunch. The powder doughnuts were dry, and just tasted horrible. We ate one and disposed of the bag. I was disappointed but not a big deal. I just said we won't buy hostess again. Here's my chief complaint. The next morning which was today my wife took a few out of the bag and put them in a zip loc bag to take to work. My daughter wanted them for breakfast so I gave her a few with milk. As she was eating one she noticed something weird about the taste and said something "blue" was on it. She had 3. She had eaten the first 2. I told her to stop and let me inspect. Upon inspection I spotted mold. I was pissed. How does this happen? Now I have to hope my wife or child doesn't get sick. I just want people to be aware and I want answers of how this happens? I have attached pics for proof of the date on package and the mold. I'm sorry hostess but you have lost my business!
Ever since Hostess bounced back from bankruptcy a few years back, the quality of their products has been rather lackluster. So I'm the least bit surprised by this. I recently bought a box of Twinkies a couple weeks ago and there was little to no cream in them. Needless to say I'm very disappointed about that.
chocolate zingers
Purchased a box of chocolate zingers. I was primarily the person eating them at approximately 1-3am. Going into a dark kitchen, opening a package then consuming. Tonight I had finished cleaning the kitchen, reached into the zinger box, last one. I
Opened the package with the fluorescent kitchen light on and I am horrified by the sight of mold on the bottom of the cake. I am sick to think that I ate a whole box of mold over the last week.
Return them with your receipt to the store you purchased them at. They should be able to offer you a replacement or refund.
chocolate cupcakes
I have written to the company several times and never received a response. I wanted to know why they use animal shortening in the making of their product. Being a vegetarian/vegan I refuse to purchase this product let alone consume it. There is no reason for any company to use animal shortening or gelatin to process baked goods or any other food or supplement. There are countless people who do not purchase these things for similar reasons. I imagine that sales would increase dramatically for many companies if they also catered to vegetarians and vegans.
Having mine Ding Ding with a nice, cold glass of milk. Cheers.
Most likely they have some sort of relationship in place with a company that makes it most cost effective to use the animal shortening.
hostess zinger. chocolate
I purchased a moldy zinger from Vendors unlimited vending machine. I took a bite without noticing and then went to check the other one I purchased. Both were in date Nov 7th and I am not sure but their are more that people can purchase. I would like to reimbursed for the money I wasted on these items. I am not sure e who to contact and the company did not want to help me.
moldy cupcake
Yesterday, I purchased a box of cupcakes. My daughter had one and handed me one to eat. While opening it I discovered it was moldy. I'm praying hers did not have any mold on it. I was completely disgusted.
I have bought these cupcakes many times I did have a problem once before with them being hard I just figured it was a bad box. I never expected them to have mold on them.
hostess zingers
On 10/10/17 6:00p.m. while eaten a package of Zingers I began choking of what turned out to be a hard piece of plastic baked within the snack. I am requesting refund and compensation for this terrible and dangerous experience. Needless to say I will never feel comfortable eating your "treats" again. Product was sold at Exxon gas station 3100 John F Kennedy Blvd. Union City, New Jersey.

chocolate chip muffin
Hello, I went to circle k gas station in ellettsville Indiana today (10/11/2017) I bought a chocolate chip muffin that you guys make. On my lunch break at work I get my muffin start eating it, it tasted a little funny so I turn my car light on to check it out and I seen mold all over the top of the muffin! I'm disgusted! I really hope I don't get sick from eating mold!
hostess powdered donnettes
I bought a bag of Hostess Powdered Donnettes today at a gas station before work. When I opened them and started eating them, I noticed that they are not very fresh. They are kind of hard and taste a little stale. I did look for the sale by date and it does say sale by 10/11/2917, which is today, so that is probably why they taste like this. I usually by th little Debbie mini powdered donuts but the gas station was out so I was hoping that these would be as good, but sadly I was disappointed. I just wanted to let someone know so that maybe these will be better in the future.
hostess donettes
I noticed many expired packages of hostess donettes, chocolate frosted, and powdered sugar. On 10/9/17. At a dollar General store#15110, there were bags of the above products, with dates of: 9/22/17, 10/2/17, 10/11/17. (?)I spoke to a manager at that store, (Melaine). She stated that your product was rotated and stocked by a 3rd party (company). Please check in to this issue. It is bad business, and reflects on your product!
