My flight to San Luis Obispo got cancelled due to the extreme weather that hit California the beginning of February and which forced me to cancel my hotel and rental car. I've gotten the same response on 8 separate attempts that customer care can't get a hold of the hotel. Below is the GM of the Marriot authorizing the refund. The last person I spoke with said you needed confirmation from the hotel to be able to refund me. This was an act of nature completely out of my control. I've sent the airline cancellation notice, a copy of my credit card statement, and the GM's authorization. The airline refunded me, the rental car refunded me, the airport parking refunded me, and now I just need the hotel refund. I appreciate your assistance.
