I tried to log on to the game last week after some months away from playing, only to find my account had been hijacked, botted and banned. The account also had membership on, which I have not had since 2014. I managed to submit the relevant information to recover the account and add to a new Jagex account for much improved safety. The hackers got through my 2FA and everything somehow.
After going through the hassle of recovering the account, I then find out it has been permanently banned for macroing. I didn't even know what that was, never done that in my life. I submitted an appeal which was instantly denied. I have clearly not done what they are saying I have, seen absolutely no proof of that either may I add. They just state their ban system is 100% correct. Only it isn't, I haven't committed this offence.
The customer service I have received in this time, if you can even call it that, has been appalling. No help whatsoever.
I would be very grateful if someone could look into this and contact me. I will take this as far as I need to to clear this up. I have not committed an offence and I want this removed.
