I had paid $32 for my monthly membership as well as $179 to downgrade my membership. The phone member services tells me that I will have until Nov 1st to use my premium amenities. When I walked in the front desk lady tells me I can’t have a towel and I tell her the situation and she says come back after the workout and we can figure it out. When I come back...

On August 2, 2023, I promptly fulfilled my financial obligation to LVAC by settling the outstanding amount. At that time, I was assured that my case was closed, and the account was resolved. However, on September 23, 2023, while reviewing my credit report, I discovered an unfavorable entry from the Allied Collection agency. Concerned about this discrepancy...

The employee working the front desk Genesis, at LVAC in Las Vegas Nevada off of Decatur should NOT be allowed to work w/ child or people. She is rude, never greets anyone who walks through the door, doesn’t watch the kids at all, she just sits on her phone. I have made multiple complaints and even her own co workers have apologized for her lack of...

Pool Area
People come into the Sauna wearing The clothes and shoes from off of the Street, tacking the filth from outside into the Wet Area and Sauna. Men wear Their underwear into the hot tub and swimming pools. People will mot shower off Their dirt and sweat prior to getting into the water, I even seen a Lady get out of the Hot tub and You could see Her Maxi Pad. This is disgusting 🤢 and We wonder why Their are so many air borne diseases.
Desired outcome: PLEASE HAVE YOUR STAFF DO A BETTER WATCH TO PREVENT THIS AND PLACE MORE SIGNS?

Front desk employees during night shift between 7pm-12am (Midnight)
Majority of the encounters I've had are rude and dismissive towards me. Unwelcoming attitudes for simply just scanning my card. Today is the first time I forgot my card and kindly asked if they could look up my phone number gave the first 3 digits and I was given a big sigh and asked for my birthday instead. Taken aback what was so wrong giving my phone number? While given a displeased look (Judgement) and lazyness because they didn't want to look me up. Again this isn't the first time but multiple occurrences.
Desired outcome: Being treated with respect and kindness please. Instead of harsh attitudes and judgement from the employees.
VIP locker LVAC... On wellness ave or off galleria
My name is Thomas Ethans [protected]
I went in today to renew my membership which expires in May and found my VIP locker was emptied out and someone else was using it. No phone call, no email no notification from staff. I was told my membership was good but not my VIP locker, I was told I had a two year membership, but any normal person would have emailed me or called me to let me know. I would have gladly paid to extend the locker had I known. I looked at the bags in the gym storage room, I believe if you don't have it, staff must have taken the good items.
Missing
Bose ear blue-tooth a battery charger for them, a very nice pair of white and orange running shoes 2 swimming googles, bathing suit, 10 dollars for snack bar use. This is more in cost then the entire 2 year membership. I expect that stuff back. I am a paid member for another month. What kind of policies do you have in place that a member can be mistreated like this? All I saw in the storage room bags was junk.. interestingly enough nothing of any value. Most certainly not any of my items.
Desired outcome: My items back of some compensation. I had Covid for an extended period and have a few lasting issues, I was there a month ago or so to use the spa and sauna.
Misleading membership
I hope you can help us.
My daughter was intentionally misled to sign a contract when she initially was told there is NO contract and it is month to month, with no cancellation fees.
I feel she was taken advatage of due to her age, and not happy about this.
At this time she is in CAlifornia caring for me as I am recovering a major illness and has no intention of usuing gym.
There is a growing balance that she cannot afford and which we are terribly upset about.
Her membership number is 1022553
My number is [protected].
Thank you for your help.
Jim
Desired outcome: cancelled membership with no amount due, especially cancellation fee.
Card membership scam
When I joined LVAC I was told I could check in at the front desk using my birthdate, now not only are refusing to do this they are demanding I pay 12 dollars from new cards I don’t want to carry because of the inconvenience. They have a that tied to your membership but can’t be used to check in, further proof they are just trying to charge extra fees is a...
Read full review of Las Vegas Athletic Clubs (LVAC)Unauthorized charges / misinformation
I have been a member since 2006, yet for some reason they made me sign a contract again in 2021. I had been charged $25 monthly with no issues, until recently. They used to charge me on the 9 - 10th, while officially set for 8th.
Examples from bank acc:
09/09/2021
LVAC TAP ACCT 09/08 PURCHASE XXX-XX48944 NV
View/Edit Debit Card -$25.00
08/10/2021
LVAC TAP ACCT 08/09 PURCHASE XXX-XX48944 NV
View/Edit Debit Card -$25.00
07/09/2021
For the last few months, I see the same charges on the 9th, 10th - and extra $30 fee for no funds? They made me angry, but I called last month and as there was no way to argue I paid fee again and they offered to add another card so I did to have 2, they made me think I had 2 (lied on record lol) I saw a charge $25 on 8/9, but today they charged me $35 fee - and arguing for no funds (lol) and I simply don't want to deal with them, they enraged me today by taking fees 3 times in a row, and I don't want to ever feel this again. I pay more to another club than LVAC fee+fine as membership, and it worth it, and they don't exploit fees / fines against me. LVAC has nice kids greeters and they are welcoming, but their billing department are total jerks, I feel they did harm my nerves, very provocative. I totally disregarded the club and will stop going there.
Overcharges
I have moved from Las Vegas to Michigan on July 2021. I moved due to needing a bit of help from my in laws after some trauma, I tried to maintain paying my monthly bill until my contract ends in October 2022, recently in February I couldn’t handle paying something I no longer have been using. I emailed to find out what my options are in order to cancel, they proceeded to let me know that I need bills in my name to the new address. My in laws are currently covering everything for me, in order to let me catch up, so I have no physical proof of bills from my new address. I then noticed they were now claiming I owe $75 out of nowhere, I have proof of being charged for February already, as well as being charged more than once each month after thoroughly reviewing my account, they are claiming these are fees from having a decline the first time they tried to run my card on due date 22nd of every month. Yet pulled the payment from my account on February 15th 2022.. which is not the 22nd.. I’m confused and don’t necessarily understand how they can get away with over charging people and thinking they won’t notice. I have tried calling multiple times and emailing, with no help. I can’t afford to pay $75 that I genuinely don’t feel I owe.
Desired outcome: Cancel account and dispute over charges
Membership terminated by administration, membership fees still being deducted from account!
My name is michael hughes, the account I am writing about specifically is: member id: [protected], the amounts being deducted are: contract type: premetcc ($5) / ($32) 26 mos, and your corporation shows my account as: status: inactive, lvac shows a direct debit on this day: acct.#: [protected] / date: 01/10/2022 / amount: 32 / balance: 0 / description: auto-etcc payment received / type: payment. Because you have “terminated” my membership you have cancelled the terms of the contract you have entered into with me and the agreements within it. When you decided to deny me access to the services I pay for you were required to immediately terminate all transactions that would continue billing any account for services which are not being provided! I did not cancel, stop or suspend my membership, it was “terminated” by a member(s) of your staff. Therefore, fault lyes with the terminating party. When you terminated my membership you legally released me of all contractual obligations or requirements. However, since you have continued to debit my private bank account for a terminated contract and ended the agreement between us. I have notified my bank of this action and provided to them all the necessary proof of the “inactive” membership and account and of the electronic debit. They are now launching a full investigation and agree that fraud has taken place if in-fact my membership has been terminated, cancelled, suspended or ended by anyone other than myself and billing has continued. In-fact! You have billed my account several days earlier than what was agreed upon in the contract which is a clear sign of intent and determination! The account was billed on 02/07/2022 and isn’t due for billing until 02/10/2022! “if” it was still “active”, which it is not! I want you to know that you may have committed several major offenses beginning with: felony wire fraud, felony fraud, intent to defraud to do harm, theft and several others! Thank you. Have a nice day.
Desired outcome: Better STOP billing my Account and refund ALL the money you are not entitled to. Unfortunately, that won’t release you from what has already happened and taken place.
Allegedly a lvac employee
I was in the sauna and this African-American male late 50's started yelling at me and this other female to take our shoes off in the sauna. Out of disbelief at first I didn't think he was yelling at me. So I said excuse me are you talking to me? He started yelling again and said I can't have athletic shoes inside the sauna so I walked out the sauna and said who are you, he said he was an employee and there's a sign that says you can't wear athletic shoes and street clothing. I said oh I apologize I didn't read it. He said I would say something about taking off your street clothes but I'll let that slide. He was wearing nothing but green shorts, and continued swimming. Do all your employees swim on the clock?! He said his name is Mr. Louis. I asked an employee and she was confused and said you don't have a Mr. Louis and I talked with the supervisor up front and she empathized with me and headed to the pool immediately to figure out who he was. May I add he was only yelling at us females and said nothing to the male that had shoes on. This guy can be very dangerous and LVAC needs better security precautions when hiring employees or watches the cameras better to de-escalate dangerous situations like these. The outcome could have been way worse.
Desired outcome: Follow up
Athletic clothing in the sauna/steam room
I was told by an employee at the front desk of the N Decatur location that people are allowed to enter the sauna/steamroom while wearing athletic clothing. When I tried to clarify that it people must wear swim wear and shower before hand the response given was "that area is not just for people who want to swim and our manager approved it." Not only is that extremely unhygenic but goes against posted policy and needs to be corrected.
Desired outcome: Employees and personnel not wearing the proper attire educated

I have been banned from the gym because a psychopathic black man threatened to kill me a hundred times and called me a cracker and a [censored] and a cop calling [censored], and I did not engage in that also his white boyfriend started threatening me the same way and just like his black friend and the gym workers did nothing as almost they wanted to see a fight so...
Read full review of Las Vegas Athletic Clubs (LVAC)Signed up right when covid hit and I couldnt get out of a contract
Last year I signed up (keep in mind I have never once entered this gym and I am paying $64 a month for 2 memberships) within a week they closed. Since they have reopened I asked if I can get out of the contract since I never even got a chance at a 1 week cancel because of covid closure. When everything was reopened they did not have the amenities that I wanted when I signed up (child care) they said I can downgrade of put a pause on my account but I would have to continue on with a new contract. I do not understand how this company has no grief or remorse of its customers. As I hear from others the facilities are unsafe and they are not providing the proper cleaning protocols. I would like my account to be further looked into and considered for a cancellation.
Desired outcome: Cancel contract-- please contact me ASAP Member ID [protected]
Cleanliness of club central
During these unprecedented times, we know that cleanliness is so important! So many employees there and only one person is cleaning. Is their only job to walk around and tell people about their masks, which by the way, they are not good at! Their pestiferous approach is unkind and not consistent! They should be participating and have cleaning bottles and...

I'm wondering why we still pay the same amount of money for less gym. When I joined, I signed a contract and in that contract I was to have available to me locker room, steam room, hot tub etc. These are not being offered. I get it. We have a [censored]bag as governor, but a lesser fee should be charged for lesser amenities offered. Also, considering you are not offering locker room facilities, we should be allowed to have a bag with us while working out. I had a pudgy guy that was really into rolling up his sleeves approach me to notify me no bags on the floor. When I told him no locker room, what am suppose to do with my stuff? He rolled up his sleeve another roll and had a lackey come to tell me next.
night shift supervisor (ketty) discarded my personal items maliciously and intentionally with no remorse or apology offered.
I am writing this formal letter to address the disrespect and embarrassment that Ketty (the night shift supervisor at 1195 Wellness Place, Henderson, NV) displayed against me in the lobby. I was using the Sauna and Ketty comes along and throws away my huge water bottle instead of asking me if i was the owner of the water bottle. She acted in a malicious way...

So for a while now I have problem how they process payments. They processed my card as they said on 12/22 and supposedly my cc was not working and they tried again on the 12/27 and it went through and then I get a text saying there issue with ur account please call. So I did call asking what's going on you guys took a payment already. Then the customer service woman said it's a return fee if $25 would you like to take care of that today I said no. Like how was I not informed? She said it's a courage we don't have to tell you. And right there is where I draw the line. Like how do you not tell a customer about there billing issue but charge them fees while taking a payment is being sneaky. Like lvac is the worst gym not only is there equipment always broken the workers at each gym are the worst but of kids talking not paying attention at the reception desks and to the ppl that are trainers and men staring uncomfortable. I will say it again the worst gym in Las Vegas. Place is a joke of health place I have never felt comfortable or actually proud to be there.
refund
The customer service in member service department needs to be retrained this includes the manager Patty White. I am still awaiting a $200 refund from 10/17 after being told originally from the first representative I would receive in 7 business days as they put a rush on my refund. After days later speaking to another representative to find out my status on my refund I was told it takes 10-15 business days after approval in which was only approved 10/24 (never told this information). When I asked to speak with a manager patty white took over and told me it is 10-15 business days. After advising her that I was not told this and they should honor what was told she disagreed and advised since it was not an error on their end and was my fault they didn't approve the rush either. Never once did the manager even offer to investigate or review recorded calls until I advised her customer service skills were poor and they didn't care since she didn't even review the previous call. I requested her boss contact which I was told was Billy and got his email (still have not gotten a response back since 10/25). After hanging up that call she called back 5 minutes later to let me know they are going to go ahead and process and provide me with my refund but that day would be business day number 6. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANY REFUND FOR MY MONEY! Here we are day 9 going on 10 BUSINESS days and I haven't even heard back from anyone. $200 is a lot of money to not return back. It didn't take this long to accept the payment! Sad part is bills are due rent is due and they have no consideration. Had I been made aware from the beginning I wouldn't be so angry but I wasn't.
