Great App
I am a current YouFit employee. I think the app is really cool. Easy to navigate through the interface. It’s neat that you can sign up for classes and talk to your personal trainer.
So simple
Easy to use and allows you to do so much. Check into my club, track my workouts, see class schedules and club hours as well. I am a current employee with YouFit and love our new app!
User Friendly
I love using the YouFit app especially when signing up for group fitness classes! It’s easy to navigate from one club to the next to find when my next favorite instructor is teaching.
Could not log in
When the invitation email came to transfer to the new app, I did not see the email until it was too late. I’ve emailed Youfit and did not get a new invitation email only their response.
YouFit Gyms App Better than Ever!
As an employee, I’ve seen the app development firsthand. It has improved ten fold in 2022 and more changes are to come in 2023. Is highly recommend using this and the On Demand classes!
Great app
The only drawbacks I have experienced is that it never allows me to successfully check into a class and it doesn’t allow me to create my own workouts. Apparently only a personal trainer can do that.

App doesn’t work
Almost non of the features listed work on the app. That or the user interface is just so confusing that I can’t figure them out. Only cool thing I’ve noticed is I was able to add the barcode to my Apple wallet.
Easy and Effective
This app is really easy to use for checking in, booking classes and has some great workouts already installed. I like how easy it is to track results and the good barcode scanner is free unlike MyFitPal. I’ve been using it as an employee.
Scam
This entire company is a scam. All they want to do is steal your money and they think no one will stop them. What they do is waste everyone’s money and are the most unsympathetic people I’ve ever dealt with. Please don’t waste your time on them.
Awesome Upgrades
As a youfit employee this app is extremely beneficial in showing members the benefits of their membership. With access to the class schedules and quick links to eatlove and youfit on demand it cannot get any better. Upgrade from the previous one for sure.
User friendly app for both employees and members!
I am a current employee at Youfit and like using the app to see who’s signed up for my yoga classes, as well as booking group fitness classes for myself. This app is incredibly user friendly and allows me to access all the classes I’m looking for with ease!
No Notifications
About 2 weeks ago, I suddenly and randomly stopped receiving the notifications on my phone and watch. Both are updated to the latest version. I’m in a group chat with my trainer and he tags “@everyone” and suddenly I’m not receiving notifications. Please fix/update app.
No way to sign up
They don’t do the key cards anymore so they said I can use the app, only problem is there’s no where to sign up on the app, Ive called customer support and asked the members at the club for help with no luck. So every time I go I have to wait for someone to come to the desk and tell them my phone number
YouFit App is Very Convenient
As a current employee, this app helps me make my members feel more at home with their memberships. The barcode can help them scan in to the gym, and the app also allows the members to schedule their group exercise classes ahead of time. I absolutely recommend this app to any YouFit member to maximize their experience at the gym.

I am currently an employee at YouFit who started out as a member , and I just want to say not only does this app connect you with your personal trainer but it also makes booking classes incredibly easy, it was the perfect addition to an already state of the art gym! Great to have an app that can keep you accountable!
I used to struggle with being consistent with the gym so I’m in love with how I can keep track of my measurements and daily progress photos through the app. Connecting my Apple Watch always helps me keep track of my workout numbers which is always good to have and the app saves it for after every workout. Definitely need to download!
Much better than previous app
Like seriously. The upgrade is far superior. I used to have an app to track my meals and I’ve been able to delete it. The workout assistance and recommendations are nice. Compatibility with my Apple Watch and the information I have connected to my Apple Health account is amazing, not to mention the Apple Wallet pass now to replace the key barcodes. I am excited for future tweaks and the rest of the brand revamp

Tried multiple times does not work
I joined through my health insurance benefit and presented information to nearby Youfit.
The person said I would receive an email to get connected.
Since then I’ve only received emails to join. Multiple requests for a link to the app have not generated a response. Local personnel only gave a card to swipe to enter and seemed disinterested in helping me with the app. The app seems cool. Now thinking about canceling and finding a place that cares about all they claim to offer. Youfit ain’t all fit.

cancelled PT andcharge continued for three months
I had cancelled PT two months ago and have been charged for the next two months and now I received a charge for the third month. Two months ago the cancellation was entered into "your system" at the gym. When i saw that I was contnued to be billed I spoke to the Manager and she entered another cancellafor the second month but could not find the documentation for the first month's cancellation. And now I received another charge for the next month ( a third month) and none of the previous cancellation have been enacted. I was told that the first documentation for the first cancellation was never entered by your employee. And we are waiting for a response for the second cancellation, AND have been billed for a third month. This has to be corrected or I will be forced to go furthur.

It’s been almost 3 months and the same eight machines are still broken. We are now down to only one lat pulldown, one knee extension, no leg press or leg curl machines because they only have one of each. This gym @ 14979 Tamiami trail in north port Florida is the saddest gym I have ever seen. Anytime I ask management if they know when the equipment will be fixed they say “the work order has been submitted”. I’m wondering what my gym membership is paying for and where the money is going because it isn’t going into the maintenance of this gym. I think it’s time to cancel this membership and go back to LA fitness. It never took more than 1-2 weeks for a piece of equipment to be fixed there and they have a lot of it. YouFit is the trashiest most neglected gym I’ve ever seen.

In the month of February, my account got charged $37.24 for my monthly fee. I say the charge on my Visa, but it the charge did not show up on my You Fit account. I am not sure why I got charged this amount. I would like to be refunded the money and just charged my flat monthly fee of $13.74. Or give me an explanation of why I got charged so much. There is a trainer named Vinnie, a McNab gym in North Lauderdale, FL. He scheduled me for my free session which came with my membership, dude spent the hour explaining why I should take a trainee membership in his office. I told him that I was not interested at the moment, and he then finally schedule me for he free session, which he didn't show up., 2 weeks after manager Thomas rescheduled me with a trainer, find out it was Vinnie again the day of my appointment. I got to the gym and saw Minnie, and we locked eyes., he didn't say anything and then decided to walk out. I told him I had an appointment with you, you texted me this morning; he told me I'm sorry you said you were not interested, I had somewhere to be. This dude is all about his money, what about my free session? I hate it here. Waiting my time.
Membership fees
I joined the Youfit gym at Haydock in January 2020 on a 3 month contract as my sister was a member so we could go to classes together. At the time of setting up this temporary contract I was never informed I would need to cancel it at the end of the 3 months otherwise the membership would continue. At the end of March when the temporary contract ended was the start of lockdown and the gym had to close. My sister was contacted and informed that she could continue her membership by paying a nominal fee until it opened again but she decided to cancel. I had no contact from the gym to inform me about this and presumed my membership had finished at the end of March.
We then discovered in June this year that the direct debits had continued under the title Kew Green Haydock which does not have gym or fitness club in the name and I had mistaken it for my husband's golf fees as we have a joint account.
During all this time I have never been sent a permanent membership card or contract or had any emails or correspondence from the gym to indicate I am still a member. We have looked on-line at your membership terms and conditions and it states you are obliged to inform me of any changes to direct debits which you did not do as there were changes made during lockdown. This has cost me almost £1600 for a gym membership I was unaware of and under the circumstances would like this money refunded.
I sent this in a email on 4th June to the Youfit membership address and cc to the Haydock manger. I had no response so emailed again on 9th June and was advised it had been passed to the local management team to review. I have still had no response despite sending a further email on 16th July so I am now registering it as a complaint.

No workout plans
This app allowed you at one point to pick workout plans throughout the week. That feature is no longer available. It looks like you’ll have pay to get this feature. It’s a shame.
Doesn’t connect to account
App doesn’t connect to my youfit account so it’s basically useless. No help is available to fix it.

Service & membership
The youfit at coconut grove is the worst gym ever. Bad customer service, open door delays, never get back to customers, close facility without any reimbursement to customers, layout is bad and it is crowded. The management has no manners and defects staff when they do wrong by customers. I canceled my membership April 20th, 2023 and still charge me for the next month. Horrible experience over the phone with management. I will never use youfit again ever in my life.

Hello my name is Hassan Sistrunk Sr I am a member of the Youfit Health club in Philadelphia Olney Plaza I'm having a bit of a dilemma with the manager Mason there. I've been going to that gym for some time now if you check records there's never been a problem with me you can have somebody come to the gym and do a survey on me and I promise you you will not find one person to say nothing bad about me
When Mason became the manager at the gym he came in the gym and he started turning the ceiling fan on super high so I asked him about it and he lied to me at first and said he had no control over it but then I showed him the switch on the wall and I said I seen you turn it on then he turned it down so I explained to him that you're a manager you supposed to take in consideration the majority as opposed to the minority you're the minority because you come in the gym with shorts on and a undershirt in 23° weather that says your hot but the gym is dominated by Blk and Latino who background is tropical which means that they're not a fan of the cold like you since then he's had an attitude towards me once more I spoke with him about the fan he turned it down but on Valentine's Day he canceled my membership I wasn't even in town I left Philly on the 10th and returned on the 17th I have the plane tickets to verify it when I inquired about why was my membership cancelled after I paid my $49 annual fee and my $15 monthly fee he told me that corporate cancelled my membership because I was making complaints about the gym I told him corporate sent me an email asking me will I refer anyone to the gym and I told them no and they asked why and I said because the bathroom need to be cleaned and the machines need to be fixed the man basically canceled my membership because of what I told you all about the gym🤔can you please address this issue and reinstate my membership I thank you in advance!

Overcharge for training sessions
Nov 2021 I decided I needed to cancel my training sessions for financial reasons. Great sessions but had to stop for a bit. $304 per month.
I was told due to canceling time-frame I needed to be charged one last full payment and then the following month a $50 cancel fee. Ok fine.
Still going to the gym (I love this location) but not training.
Fast forward a few months I'm being charged for an additional 2 months ($608)
Went back and was told the original cancel was not correct...they corrected it and it would be 2 to 3 months to see the credit.
Fast forward to August..still no credit and was told the wrong form was used but I was reassured this would do the trick.
Still nothing...managers don't want to help and i was told to email corporate myself and tell them and they would be sure to respond in 15 mins! Sounded good...not heard a thing and probably won't. I guess I get to eat the $600 since I cannot get help.
If you cancel any type of service with youfit make sure you call your credit card company in the event the charges don't stop.

I'd like to start introducing myself, I am loyal daily member of youfit and I have always had a pleasant experience when greeted by other staff members. Within the strip mall where there is a youfit on 152nd street, In the same strip mall a coin laundry is being built and they busted the water pipe which caused the county to shut off our water. I went over to youfit and used the restroom because we did not have water and explained the situation to a youfit employee (causian blue eyed white girl) who was very sweet and compassionate to our situation. Hours later on that same day I rushed to use the restroom and an extremely aggressive rude demanding employee claiming to be in charge named Annie. Followed me into the bathroom almost inside the stall and got in my face yelling and demanding I leave. I tried to explain my situation as I had earlier and she wouldn't even let me speak. She was belittling, aggressive in my space and in my face. I told her I was a member and she said she was going to revoke my membership. I would like to speak to a person with a higher problem before I consult with an attorney if necessary actions are needed because in all my years of customer service she had the worst presentation of youfit. As I stated earlier everyone else has always been pleasant and they even know me because I go everyday during my lunch hour to exercise.

Good afternoon.
I have been a member at Colchester for many years. When lockdown occurred I heard nothing at all. On Saturday 1st May I decided to go to the centre to find out what was happening. I went in, lights were on, computers turned on but the place was empty. I waited about 15 mins and gave up and left. A couple of hours later I returned, there were people in the pool and a man in the gym but no staff anywhere. Clearly laid out on the desk and in full view were complete application forms, Names, DOB, address, bank details, phone numbers etc. This concerned me greatly. I wrote in the staff day book that I wished to be contacted. This was also just left laying, easily accessible. Again after about 15 mins I gave up and left. As I was driving out I saw a member of staff go in the door so I parked and went back in. I pointed out that personal data was left in clear view but was told it wasn't for long! How long does a crook need?
I said that I had received no information at all for over a year. My details were pulled up on the computer and as my e mail and phone number were incorrectly inputted it explained why I was not contacted. I was promised a call on the Monday. Still waiting, now 9th May.
On 6th May I received a very informal letter explaining the new fees. I was paying £360 as an annual fee for full access. This was no longer available and I now had to pay by direct debit at £48 per month. This is an increase of 60% per annum! The letter says I will have full access but the truth is that I have to book my sessions on a Friday for the week and it is first com first served. As I work it is difficult to contact Friday morning and the Covid regulations mean that it will be far from full access.
A huge rise in fees, less access and no adherence to the Data Protection Act. Is this representative of YouFit?
