I am amazed that this business has not been closed down and can continue to operate with such dismal and unethical practices and even more dismal customer service!
I'm writing this review on behalf of my son and his girlfriend as they needed help with resolving an issue with bad boy furniture store. They are young adults, full time students with extremely limited income, lack of summer employment due to covid-19, and looming big school bills. On june 25 they purchased their first large furniture item - a sofa that converts to a bed for $700. For them this was a big deal! It was supposed to be delivered mid-july - they figured that they could sleep on their make-shift bed made of sleeping bags on the floor for a couple of weeks. The delivery date came and went and when they followed up, they were told the item is out of stock and will not likely be available until end of august!
They could not continue sleeping of the floor and sitting on lawn chairs in their room, so they tried to cancel the online order so they coulf purchase another sofa/bed from another store. The morning of july 24, they got a call from bad boy telling them that all sales are final, whether the item is delivered or not, and they cannot be refunded.
Since that phone call, now a whole month since they made the original purchase, they asked me to help them resolve this issue. I have been trying to speak to a customer service manager. Their central number often reaches a switchboard operator who simply refuses to listen to the issue. When I ask to be forwarded to a customer service manager, she just directs the call to a number that just rings and rings and rings. I have made an attempt over and over and over to get through - sometimes it will sound like it will switch to a person and then just clicks and disconnects; other times it will put the call on hold with music and eventually disconnect; other times yet, it will connect so someone's voicemail with an indistinguishable mumble of a name. I have left numerous voice-mails giving my phone number for them to call and have not received a single call back. One of their messages said that they call back within 24 - 48 hours. That is a blatant lie. It has been a whole week and no one has called me back.
Essentially bad boy is keeping the funds for a product they have not delivered; a product they do not have in stock and have no business selling until it is in stock. In my opinion that is called fraud! It is beyond me how they can get away with something like that and only parrot the response - "our policy is that all sales are final". A "sale" constitutes an exchange of a good or service for money - they have taken the money but have not delivered the goods that that money was for. They have broken the contract of a sale by that very fact. Again, that is a breach of contract and fraud.

When I go online to look at reviews, all I see is complaints by people who have similarly been defrauded in one way or another and received extremely shoddy service.
We are not interested in a store credit - we do not want to ever deal with this company again. We would like a full refund of the funds they have taken from us without delivering a product in exchange.
