Our fridge slowly started losing its ability to cool in/around august 2023. So we called lg to determine if the unit was under warantee, which we were told yes the fridge was under warantee and that we woulds havew to find a 3rd party service lg approved of since they had no lg reps in the area. So we called a rep and lg apporovewd them to come see what the problem was. The person claimed it needed a new compressor and left. Lg found out it needed a new compressor and same thing, they needed to send a 3rd party out to repair the fridge with new compressor. However, the lg rep cam and said they refused to work on the fridge because the previous lg approved rep drilled into the closed loop system. So now we were out a fridge. We lost over $2500 in food in our fridge, maybe closer to $3k. The entire process took over a month because anything lg does is not fast - they do not care about their customers having to wait because their customers time is not important to them - the only thing lg cares about is money,. Now its been another 2 months waiting for some team to call me to offer me a check to replace the fridge lg broke, I amj about to hire a lawyuer and I will be suing for a lot more than what we paid for our new fridge I can promise you that.
