Lowe's False advertising

On May 3, I went online to order the Sunjoe SPX 3000 power washer from Lowes. It happened to be reduced $20 from the regular price of $159 until May 5. I was unable to order it because there were NONE available.

I signed up to be notified when they were restocked and the price returned to $159 after May 5.
I got an email today telling me they are restocked and the new price is now $169.
I called customer service and spoke to two people who were not helpful or understanding when I told them I think I should be able to get it for the advertised sale price.
I think that they advertised a sale when they knew there were none available.

Desired outcome: I would like to purchase the product at the advertised sale of $20 off $159.

Lowe's Garden Center

I visited the Lowe's Garden Center earlier this evening (05/18/2021) in Helena, MT and couldn't believe my eyes. I was searching for a handful of specific flowering plants for my garden and was shocked to see the majority of plants and flowers either dangerously dried out and wilted or completely dead. In May! I walked up and down each aisle and was in total disbelief at the state of the inventory; a huge collection of brand new, recently beautiful plants and planted pots now fried to a crisp. Even more unbelievable was the number of watering wands available and accessible making it all the more inexcusable. I found myself watering several of the plants myself. I approached an employee about this and asked, "What is going on with all your flowers and plants? They're all fried!" and he responded, "Yeah, it's been hot."

You should know your Helena, MT store is falling miserably short in the Garden Center. It is pathetic. The employees are careless and indifferent and are not doing their jobs. You're not only going to lose a lot of money but also a lot of customers.

Desired outcome: Hire and train your employees so they represent your store better. Hold them to a higher standard.

Lowe's Lowe’s Rebate

I purchased a Samsung fridge from Lowe's because of the rebate for a ring doorbell in September of 2020. I submitted the rebate online and after 6 weeks I got an email saying I was denied. So I reached out and the agent said that I should provide the receipt. After sending, I was given another link to complete a new application.
I have been calling Lowe's Rebate twice a month since February of 2021. And have not gotten a decent answer to why I have not received my doorbell. I called last month and was told an email will be sent to the Tier 2 team to review and to allow for 3 days for a phone call. I sent the Tier 2 team an email by responding the earlier emails they sent me after waiting 3 days to ask of the status and still no response. Today, I called again and was given the same line. We will send an email, allow for 3 days. This is a scam for sure

Lowe's Epoxyshield Tan garage floor paint

Below is the information I submitted to Lowes on 3 occasions now: once on the phone to the Crossville Lowes manager (Phillip) and in 2 emails to Lowes customer service. I have not received a response. I did receive an automated reply to the first stating that someone would respond within 48 hours and it has been more than 4 days. I am unable to attach the pictures referrenced in the below. The main point is that Lowes puts premixed paints out on shelves labeled as one color when in fact they mixed a different tint into the paint and then they refused to allow a return because the two part epoxy paint, which must be mixed to indicate color, were mixed. This is not and was not a manufacture issue: it is an issue with a complete disregard for honesty and customers!

Purchased Epoxyshield garage floor paint from Crossville Lowes on 5/1/21: see receipts #1. Got the TAN color: see picture #2. I have used this product on numerous remodels and my own home in the past. The box had the proper color paint chips for the TAN color garage floor paint. We mixed the two epoxy parts and started painting. The paint color does change as it hardens but it seemed off color. Once it dried in places, the color was NOT what the box stated: it was gray. We closed the container and did not use the remaining product and could not use the paint chips, since they were for TAN garage floor paint: not GRAY. There is a label produced by the Crossville Lowes on top of that can; so Crossville Lowes mixed that color and put it in that box: see pictures #3.
On May 12th, I called the Crossville Lowes and spoke with manager Phillip. Phillip states that if the product is used he don't see how they can replace it. So Phillip thinks that I just need to buy another box of TAN paint to get the porch painted the right color. He stated it is a problem of the manufacturer: without regard for the fact that there is a label on top of that can that proves Crossville Lowes mixed that color.
We want a refund or the product we paid for. Let me know if we need to hire an attorney and see how fast that gets rolling while we're filing reviews on-line to advise others. Surely no sane person would file a lawsuit over $67.48 (was $74.98 before military discount); right?
I've also included a picture of a used brush, alongside chips of the correct color (picture 4), from the box to clearly show the difference. The porch has to be repainted with the proper color because the paint in the box I purchased was NOT what it was suppose to be and HAD been altered by Crossville Lowes and then put back on the shelf.
Not only was this paint mixed a different color by Crossville Lowes, but now, in addition to having to repeat all the work on the porch, I've had to take pictures, write letters and get upset. I remodel houses and I assure you: I will never deal with Phillip again! I don't have time to play silly games with irresponsible people!
How about you have Phillip bring the paint you charged me for and paint that porch? Otherwise, I'll expect a call or email with an apology and an offer to act like a responsible company.

Desired outcome: Lowes repeats all the work wasted; after providing the paint that was paid for.

Lowe's Porch contractor job not completed.

My back porch was built by lowes contractors back in November. The lost the contractors working on my porch at that time and had to scramble and get another contractor. They did a horrible job and took alot of shortcuts. The job was never finished. I signed off on nothing. I have contacted lowe many times over the months from January to May, but NEVER got a call back.

Desired outcome: I want the the ends of the porch mitered and the picture framed steps like was promised. and the boards attached to the porch.

Similar experience, only wished I had checked out Lowes, they don't know what their doing in Construction. The can sell it they just can't do it.

Lowe's Customer Service

I purchased an online order [protected] Long Beach outdoor daybed. I received item with the R panel broken #C. I have been trying for 3 days to get this rectified. Hour waits for customer service. Twice I've been able to speak with someone but, got cut off! How can your customer service dept be so busy any time of day? It's ridiculous! I am at wits end! Pls help

Lowe's Installation of factory painted james hardie siding

Most unethical experience, sales person makes promises, knowing little about the product. Contractor was information source, assured he had done many Hardie Siding jobs for Lowes. Measure house and orders material, factory painted. His order was off by almost 25%. It takes 5 weeks to get Siding now I end up with painting poorly done, sloppy got on vinyl windows, caulking was color matched, color warranty neglected because they tooled (smeared), now it's turning white. Told that Eve's could be fully enclosed then when installed told couldn't, which I discovered from Hardie wasn't true. It goes on many other issues. Made a major mistake by going with their 2 year interest free financing. The Arbriation Clause in Contract doesn't allow for legal cost Small Claims Court has a $10, 000 limit and isn't easy to navigated and allows Lowe's to be represented by an Attorney, the deck is stacked and Lowes knows it. This job cost more than $75, 000 and I'm left with a mess, Thanks Lowe's. Oh the Contractor I was told would do the Work was replaced by a Contractor that didn't speak English.

Lowe's Lowe's Requires a Man to be Available for Service Calls

My wife and I are remodeling our master bathroom. I had inquired at the local Lowe's store on the purchase and installation of a tankless electric instant water heater for the master bathroom. After providing all the information, including my wife's contact info as I am out of town often, Lowe's called to schedule the visit to the home.
This person who called to schedule the visit said they couldn't come out to the home without the husband present. My wife is an engineer for a major government defense contractor who is perfectly capable of making the proper decisions as well as financial arrangements.
While I am extremely sick of all the woke crap that is occurring today and the victim mentality, Lowe's screwed this one up royally. This was TRUE discrimination here.
I have a pending order for over 5k worth of cabinets, vanity, etc. After this, I will NEVER do business with this company again.

Lowe's Understaffed and by employees that don't care.

Can't get refund for cancelled online order. Cancelled when delivery date for item was changed to 6 days later than originally stated .
Do not give Lowes access to your credit card unless you have the merchandise in your hand. Card is not to be charged untill item is "picked and placed in locker". My account was raised in the middle of the night 4 days before delivery.
Customer services' m.o. is to ignore.

Desired outcome: Put my money back in the bank account it was stolen from.

Lowe's Online order

On line I ordered a PVC shower dam on line May 3rd, 2021. Notified I would receive on the 5th. Nothing. Received notification I would receive on the 7th, Nothing. A package arrived at my door on the 8th.
Opened the package and instead of a PVC Shower Dam, it was a role Wire Hardware Cloth. Went online and got no satisfaction with agent. She stated that our local store did not have in stock. Customer Service stated that Lowes policy is that during COVID lockdown they would not be accepting returns either until sometime after the 20th (Why?)
Rather than waiting for another on line delivery, I decided I could not wait any longer as I have a job to finish. My timeframe not LOWES slow train and inaccurate shipping timeframe

Lowe's Store Help / Self Service Check out.

Good Afternoon, I'm a Big Lowe's Believer I will drive out of my way to go to Lowe's. But lately I feel I'm not getting the respect back. I have been Retired for a little over a year. Now it time to work on the house and property. In the last year I have poured 77 yards of cement which means I installed water lines/Fittings - PVC for electrical and pick up a laser for leveling. Also build a small wood porch with steps and ramp to help with my father to get in and out of the house. Pick up over 5 doz - solar lights and that just outside. Inside new washer/dryer - Paint over 10 gallons + supply's - curd tens - rods . Stove Wall lamps and ceiling fans/lights - Wiring / Rings Security Item and a lot more
about $ 18, 000 to $20, 000 not lieing . But at the Victorville ( Bear Valley Store ) There is hardy any help - you ask for help and they don't work in that department - the stock is low or none and there my back stock up on the shelf but trying to fine somebody to get it down can take awhile. The women or more out to help then the males. ( that is the truth ) I had a problem just last weekend I ask if there were anymore of the ceiling fan the gentleman looked it up on his phone and stated they had 10ea in stock - I did not see one on the floor he stated that they are in the back or up on the self and I asked if he could help me and he STATED he was not allowed to go in the back and walked away. ( What the hell was that ). another sale lady help me and we found the fan $200.00 sale because she was willing help. But why is there only self service check out and other spend a lot of money and we deserve that contact when your are spend over $500.00 at a time. All we need is somebody to help once in awhile . Thanks

Lowe's Lack of handicap customer awareness

I am or should, I say was a frequent shopper at Lowes W. Amherst NY
Store# 1883.

This store has only 3 handicap carts; so imagine how, I would feel if 2 of them are out of order. I understand these issues happen but 1 cart was out of order for over a month and now a 2nd? Of course the 3rd is used a lot and is out of power most of the time and left in the parking lot.
On numerous occasions, I approached the Service Desk and brought this matter up to the staff. Am told they will note this and pass it on?
I know the store is cutting back on hours and asking there store personnel to gather the carts while leaving their departments but really how about spending a little $$ and have lot attendants work more shifts especially now that it is warming up!
It also would be smart to have a better sense of concern and awareness to keep on top of Handicap Carts Maintenance/Repair. Hmm how about increasing the amount of carts? We are customers too!
FYI, your main competitor "Home Depot" has a minimum of 4 to 6 carts on hand at all times. This is a fact since, I have been to 3 of the locations to shop since Lowes does not seem to care about the disabled.

Desired outcome: How about fixing the carts!

5/8/20 I was charged for a GE washer transaction number #[protected]. The washer was never delivered. The credit card was charged 944.28. Lowes refunded the washer on a merge credit gift card for $789.31, #[protected] 6/10/20, but never reported this to the Synchrony credit card folks. The employee is my neighbor and he's been harassing and stalking me for 2+ years now. I didn't even know he worked at Lowe's until I went to look at chainsaws with a friend and the same loud bird calls over and over. Lowe's where's my order

Order # 722868442

Invoice # 77017 I placed this order on 4/28. How can it be delayed 4 days an hour before its supposed to be delivered. The 4x4x16 's were for a retaining wall I removed saturday. Now when it rains mud runs onto my neighbors patio. I had a call confirming my delivery saturday night and another on sunday morning.

Lowe's unnecessary items were added and charged to my account and delivered damaged

I contracted Lowes to do removal then installation of Tile, the job would consist of Kitchen[remodeling] dinning & Living rooms, Guest Bedroom & bathroom. Delivery of items were on time, but heavy . Inventory by driver and myself and discrepancies were apparent > First there were items i never ordered and basically not necessary for this job, but i am charged items that are expensive i also noticed extra items of my actual order were added, again without my consent and of course added to bill . Also some of the unneeded expensive items that Lowes added and charged me [no consent] for were damage beyond repair . Driver took photo's. Job completed and there were so many other issues, but just one at a time .An inventory was taken of unused items by installer, he stated that 70% of items should have never been added. 30% was usable but not needed
overkill added by Lowes . It's quite a bit of stuff, and burden is on me to return it [a disabled retired man] thanks . Estimate amount of $$ of extras that were added without my knowledge, refund approx. $950.00

4/30/21 I was due to have a dishwasher delivered. The delivery person came at 11:45pm with a box (resealed) with my initial and last name on it. However, the box number listed on the box did not match my order number. He insisted it was mine and hung around trying to get me to allow delivery.
