I bought a Brand new Ryobi petrol Lawnmower from Makro Centurion In December 2019. After we bought it and assembled lawnmower and pouring in the necessary oil we started the lawnmower. Unfortunately after barely using it for half a meter the engine started struggling. Where we then decided to take the Lawnmower back and get a refund to buy another...
Obviously the Ryobi offices were closed over December Holidays and they told us this would only happen in the New Year.
23 January 2020 Makro phones me back to inform me the Lawnmover can be repaird by RYOBi for X amount. Which is funny because this is not what I requested from them the 1st time aound. I would like to get a refund to purchase another as I did not buy a second hand Lawnmower.
Then they told me the reason for the faulty Lawnmower is because of a Faulty Spark Plug and Dirty Oil..
How is this even POSSIBLE if I bought a BRAND NEW Lawnmower and Oil from Makro not a Second Hand Lawnmower with Old oil.
After complaining about this and asking for a refund they said this wont be possible...Again why not we have waited long enough and been patient enough with them.
So I would like to please ask if somebody a bit HIGHER up can resolve this issue so that I can get a New Lawnmower (NOT RYOBI)
Its been way to long now and I cannot keep on borrowing other peoples Lawnmower because Makro cannot make up there minds and refund us for a new one.
