I got my new Honda **** from Martin Main Line Honda on July 23
I got my new Honda *** from Martin Main Line Honda on July 23. They told me that I would get my Registration and plates in 6-8 weeks. It's been more than 16 weeks now, and I still haven't received any updates. I've been trying to reach the title and registration staff at the dealership, but they're not answering my calls. It's frustrating because my temporary plate and registration expired on September 20, and I can't legally drive my car anymore.
I bought a car from Martin Main Line Honda and also got an extended warranty for $1499
I bought a car from Martin Main Line Honda and also got an extended warranty for $1499. Now that I don't have the car anymore, I went to the dealership to cancel the warranty and get some money back. But they said no and wouldn't cancel it. I tried calling the finance manager, emailing him, and even going to the dealership in person, but they still won't cancel the warranty. I really need some help with this.
I had a problem with a car dealership called Martin Mainline Honda
I had a problem with a car dealership called Martin Mainline Honda. I took my car there because it was having trouble accelerating. *** told me that it just needed regular maintenance, so I paid $700 for that. But then, 2.5 weeks later, my car started leaking a lot of oil. Some of the oil was really dark, which was strange because we had just gotten an oil change as part of the service I paid for. The car also started smoking and making a loud knocking noise. My husband had to add more oil and change the oil pan.
Now, here's the issue: when I took the car back to Martin Mainline Honda, they said we need a new engine, which will cost around $6,000! They had the car for a while, but they're not taking any responsibility for the engine problem. I think they put too much oil in the car, which caused problems with the engine, and they should pay for the repairs. Also, they never fixed the original acceleration problem, and they ignored all of my emails and calls about it.

Martin Main Line Honda has been really bad at doing their job when it comes to registering the car I bought and financed from them in early July
Martin Main Line Honda has been really bad at doing their job when it comes to registering the car I bought and financed from them in early July . According to PA law, it's their job to register a financed vehicle because they're the lienholder, and I can't do it myself. But guess what? It's November and my car is still not registered. My license plates are expired and I can't even renew them because the state of MA won't inspect an unregistered vehicle. I've been asking for a bill of sale over and over again, but they never give it to me. I've even gone to my local motor vehicle registry and they say they never received the registration application. I've talked to a bunch of people at Martin, like title clerks and accountants, but they never follow up with me. It's like they all just disappear without a trace. They keep giving me the runaround and making excuses, and they talk down to me like I'm an idiot. They always say they're "working on it," but come on, it shouldn't take more than 4 months to register a car, even if it's out of state. And we're in the middle of a pandemic too, so they should really get their act together. I can't even sell the car or drive it because I don't have any proof of ownership. I paid a lot of money for this car, almost $22,000, and I have nothing to show for it. Martin Main Line Honda has been really irresponsible and has let down a loyal customer like me.
I wish we would've read all the bad reviews before buying our *** from Mainline Honda
I wish we would've read all the bad reviews before buying our *** from Mainline Honda. I hope anyone buying from this dealership will reconsider after our horrible experience. We purchased our 2019 Honda *** in Feb 2020. We originally were buying a 2020. We specifically called to see if they had a 2020 in the style and color we wanted. We spoke to salesman Nino who told us yes, the 2020 advertised on their website was available. We drove an hour with a check in our hand to buy it. After over an hour in their showroom, we were told they did not have the 2020 in stock. Nino mentioned they had a 2019 with only 7500 miles, certified Honda Plus, and it was a dealer demo car. The other salesman told us he personally drove the car and it was a dealership demo and loaner car. Nino said it was a better deal than a new 2020 because of the warranty and had a clean ***. So we bought it. After a few months, the door panel began to separate. Upon looking, it is very obvious the car was in a previous accident. We had our independent mechanic look at it and he said this car should have never been certified by Honda. The undercarriage shows repaired damage that should have been documented during the certification process. I called Mainline Honda and played phone tag for months after Mike F told me his service manager would be contacting me to look at the issue. No return phone calls. I finally went to the dealership and was cursed at by manager Mike F and told to F OFF. They would not honor, repair, or even look at the damages. His own service manager even admitted Mike was wrong and out of line. Now I run a *** and find out this car was repaired and was originally owned in NY. So I guess they just lied about the car being a dealership demo. Stay away from these crooks! Kiera and thieves. In addition, their employees were smoking pot in their parking lot. A true disaster, and I can't believe Honda would even allow these creeps to represent them.
On Tuesday, May 3, 2022, I purchased a 2018 Honda from Martin Main Line Honda
On Tuesday, May 3, 2022, I purchased a 2018 Honda from Martin Main Line Honda. I informed the sales representative that I had secured financing from my bank and presented a $40,000 auto-draft check. Despite being offered dealership financing, I declined. I handed the auto-draft to Roman T, who processed it with the finance team. After verifying that my credit would not be checked, I signed the necessary paperwork. However, the Business Manager, David B, presented a different rate than my bank's quote. He explained the discrepancy and reassured me that the auto-draft was not needed. He also clarified that no additional payments were required beyond the $40,000, although a downpayment was optional. On May 5, I learned from my bank that the financing was through indirect lending. I expressed my concerns to the dealer about unauthorized credit checks. Roman T downplayed the issue. On May 9, my bank confirmed that the dealer had indeed initiated a credit check and used indirect lending, contrary to my initial arrangement with the Credit Union. Documentation including email exchanges and the original auto-draft has been provided.
On Monday, November 15, I made a deal with Martin Main Line Honda's car salesman, Tahir B, for a new, gray, Honda AWD EX 2022
On Monday, November 15, I made a deal with Martin Main Line Honda's car salesman, Tahir B, for a new, gray, Honda AWD EX 2022 for $36,179. My credit score was run, and my credit card was swiped for the $1,000 car deposit. I didn't sign or receive any paperwork Monday. Tahir sent me text message images of the deposit receipt and the outline of all the charges and the total price of the vehicle purchase on Tuesday. On November 18, Tahir called me and said he received a VIN number for my car and asked me to come and sign the contract and bring my payment. On November 20, I brought a cashier's check for $20,000 and signed the contracts with the VIN number for my car, but the car was not at the dealership. Tahir started calling me with updates and said that my car would be delivered Thanksgiving week. On the following Tuesday, after trying to contact Tahir multiple times, he said that the reason why my car hadn't arrived yet was because the transportation company reported snow. The new day was now Friday, December 3. Since then, I've been calling to find out where my vehicle is. On December 10, I reached out to Honda corporate to find out where my vehicle is and made a case with them. I was told that the dealership handles the transportation. I then called the dealership, and the receptionist told me that my car is three days past due. After going back and forth with the dealership and Honda corporate, the dealership connected me with Joe S, sales manager, and I was enticed by Joe to call the transportation company and pretend I was calling from the dealership to get an update. The transportation company informed me through the VIN number that there is a hold code on the car and that only the dealership can explain. After going back and forth with the dealership and corporate again, Joe claimed that he emailed the one representative that could find out more information. There has been no response yet and still no car.
