Due to the covid-19 pandemic last year, all school have to switch to online learning...
Due to this, I subscribe to maxis for the maxisone go wifi as my son need to online google meet for his school teaching...
I have been a maxis customer for over 20yrs + so I tot I should give maxis a try for the portable broadband...
But to my horror, the line sucksss...
My son have not been able to go online as the wifi keep giving problems... No internet, loading so long, internet service disrupt...
This is the last time I complaint though numerous complaints have been lodged but still no improvements...
And now my hp lines also suckss...
Maxis make customers lose faith in your service...

It took close 10 days before Maxis tech contacted me, asked me to reset my modem, but since then no feedback on the progress of the rectification. If you want the Maxis brand to be in the hearts and minds of your customers, please communicate, keep the customer informed what is being done and likely date to resolve the reported problem,

Hi to whom it may concern,
I am Veani. I'm writing this to complaint the bad experience that I faced and no solutions until now. First, in 2014 I was subscribed Maxis broadband which insisted to subscribe with explained the package plan together iPad. One of the sales staff from Maxis came to our office at Cinta Sayang Resort and promoted this packages. The iPad which I got from Maxis broadband package was spoilt not even one year. I guess with 6 months. Then I brought to Apple Authorised Service Center for diagnostic. They replaced new iPad as this non repairable item. They replaced refurbished set instead of brand new. Then I was using it with settled the payment properly. In year of 2016, I got new job in Singapore and I left. Now I came to Malaysia for good and I decided to buy new line. I have been informed that I am not eligible to subscribe line due to there is outstanding RM2000 which included legal fee. First of all I don't know what is this about. I never receive any statement from Maxis. I was thinking all settled. This is really not fair for me. I had contacted Maxis. Case Number is C1151794. Until now no any follow up calls from Maxis. I'm trying to contact Maxis support team but the service is really bad as nobody call me back. I am keep awaiting. I'd highly appreciate if someone from Maxis solve this issue for me ASAP. I unable to subscribe any line due to this hassle.

Maxis fibre wifi connection
Our maxis fibre has been getting poor connection, weak signal, often get disconnected during video calls, and super slow performance. It even need to take sometime to receive or send out text in whatsapp 🤦🏻♀️ and since i'm working from home, need stable wifi (not even asking for a strong one tho I paid for 100mbps) for meeting but nah, I need to use my own mobile data to stream the meeting coz the wifi signal is so weak that ppl can't hear me talking, line keep breaking and sometimes my laptop couldn't even detect the wifi. It's so ridiculous! My whole family using maxis from mobile data to home wifi, but this is the [censored]ty connection that I get after paying so much every month?! C'mon maxis, pls do something about it. I know many ppl has been complaining about maxis mobile /wifi connection lately, pls fix this asap.

Maxis postpaid plan
I requested to port in to Maxis from Celcom on 20th February 2021 under my husband's supplementary line. Till today, 14th March both telco companies are yet to settle the port out and port in issues with my number as the account holders are different person. Both companies were pushing the problem to each other and asked me to wait. Moreover, my number in Maxis is not active yet and Maxis has charged the supplementary line of around RM 15 plus. At the same time, I have to pay my bill at Celcom. I have replied the port out message to Celcom since 10th March and Celcom claimed that they have processed the port out request. Now is pending Maxis to process and receive my port in request. What's wrong with Maxis or Celcom? Is the port out and port in request required to do within 1 month period and is the port in request so difficult to settle till no one from Maxis can answer me the turnaround time of all this?

Maxis Fibre 500Mbps

Last December (2020) I signed up for the home fibre package due to the 50" Samsung TV which cost RM1/month promo at Maxis MEP Tesco Penang. I was explained that the 24 months package which cost RM219.00 per month would entitled for the 50" Samsung TV. I signed up for the 500Mbps package and was told that the installer will help me to apply for the TV. So, i went on and cancel my Unifi, switched to Maxis as told. Router installation, Mesh installation done within 2 weeks and every time i asked about the TV, i was told Maxis will contact me. End of Dec, i called Maxis Customer care [protected]) and i was assured that my TV coming directly from Samsung warehouse by 15-Feb-21 and they will SMS me directly for the delivery. After waited and nobody call, i called Maxis Customer care today, guess what...……...i was told i did not fill any enquiry for TV ! Maxis Customer care told me nothing can be done, i need to go back to the MEP! i am totally piss off with Maxis, such a reputable brand, such a bad process and mishandling, putting customer at dark, pushing us here and there...……. i don't know what went wrong in this whole process but this is totally not fare, Maxis put up such a big advertisement and now what? i want my TV !

Maxis wifi-go sim card number [protected], celcom kajang sales person advice to use wifi-go due to port not available now? The wifi started use on feb 1st, supposed to have download speed 30mbps but in actual is only 6mbps, 30mbps upload speed, it taking forever to to send out an email. I have tried remove sim card and restart the modem but it just improve 6mbps. I request to refund or change to maxis fibre plan

Slow Data Connection
My number is [protected], a subline of [protected], we have noticed that Maxis data connection is getting slower and slower even after payment without delaying!
I cant even load my Facebook and Instagram properly and that is unbearable! Maxis promised a smooth data connection when we sign the package, and now we even realized the portable WiFi has very unstable connection as well!
Desired outcome: Pls make the data connection smooth asap!!

Maxis one go Wifi device and network
We have bought a maxis wifi device on 01/12/2020 and the representative informed that if network have at your location then wifi will work good... but the coverage we get was full but we cannot even use one handphone use that network... Network was full but the speed was dead slow.. we need a solution for this. We have paid a deposit amount of 500rm and a 2 months bill payment in advance. The total of rm777 has been paid. As a foreigner we get so much frustrated by using this device. We have no other option other than cancel this, but have an year contract. Pls do the needful

I have 2 separate account with maxis whereby I would like to combine these 2 account together but my request is rejected by maxis. My request is to have 1 primary account instead of 2 whereby it will ease the process of making the payment.

What disappointing me the most is I've been discussing this with the maxis call center and that person said that this could be done if I have terminated my zerolution with the account of [protected] which I have done it and pay the termination fees accordingly. I am also would like to upgrade my fiber plan with maxis from 300mbps to 500mbps to help in getting wider range of internet connection but it was also couldn't be done and the staff at the maxis center just said that it could only be done after March whereby it have cause loss to me for paying the termination fees and also unable to get my request done like what I intend to.
I have became a maxis user for 14 years and always keep up to date with the current promotion and be happy with maxis services before. It really disappoint me to receive such services after all this time.
Desired outcome: Combine all my account into 1 account with 1 primary and 2 supplementary number and upgrade my maxis fiber to 500mbps
Poor Connection
Hi, I'm staying in Jalan Lili, Bestari Perdana, Pasir Gudang JB. Just recently comeback to Malaysia from Singapore due to Covid, I am now jobless. I'm using Maxis Prepaid Line ever since I come back to Malaysia. Because of currently I am jobless, I am using the internet daily in applying job or media interview. At first, I bought a data and while using the watsapp calls, my line keep reconnecting and reconnecting and making the opposite person gets frustrated and end up end the calls. The I saw the 12.12 promotion which indicated 25GB + ?GB and I check it out. It was stated there Valid for 30 days, unwrap your gift! Enjoy up to 12 GB and the 3rd one is really attract me to purchase it which indicated " Enjoy ultra speed and hotspot " . I purchase it without thinking twice even my original data have not finished yet. But surprisingly, the line is still the same, after 5 minute using the wats app video, it appeared to be reconnecting again and again and again until have to cut of the line and after call back the 2nd time, it is appeared to be the same. Now, my question is, what is the ultra speed is ? Can please check and improve the networking at Jalan Lili 1, Bandar Bestari Perdana, Pasir Gudang? I've been using Maxis before I went to Singapore 20 years ago with different number and after 20 years I come back still choose Maxis as my service provider because I trust Maxis but the recent line keep reconnecting (even I purchase ultra speed) it make both party the "caller and the receiver" frustrated. And it is happened everyday.

I walked into TTDI center on 18.11.20 to get my prepaid number reactivated. I went to Midvalley center later that night as TTDI was too far for me to go back to.
I went back to Midvalley center on 22.11.20 to check up on my application. I was told that no report was made and that they are in the midst of migration. This is ridiculous when I went to 2 centers to report and not one made it. So once again I made another report and the staff passed me his number.
However, after contacting him on 24.11.20 as instructed, but was told that system maintenance was in progress and to call back tomorrow.
On the 25.11.20 I was told that due to the system migration my report had to be made again (4th time).
When I check back on the 28.11.20 I was ignored.
So used their chat function but there was no reply.
Then I called the call centre on the 29.11.20 and was told that there was no record of my request and so they made another report (5th time).
30.11.20 the call centre called me to say that my request was rejected due to duplication of report. And this is after so many people telling me that my report does not exist. The staff assured me that she will check and get back to me but never did.
I called again on 1.12.20 again told me no record of my report, after my assistance that it should be there the staff found it and gives me the same line of wait. Then my line cuts off while waiting for him to check on my case. I had to call a 2nd time and was again assured that there is ntg they can do for me but to expedite the report and wait.
in the course of 2 weeks I have made 3 center visits, at least 4 calls and many messages. And my issue is still not resolved.
Is this the service MAXIS offers? In this day and age your system can fail to register a simple report at least 5 times? I hope someone can give me an explanation.
Poor internet connection and services provided by maxis
Hi my name is Chan. I have suffer from bad Internet connection at my house for the past 2 weeks and the problem is getting more serious till the connection was really bad. For your information I stay in Kuchai lama which about 10km from KL City center. I have call maxis customer service and provided them the information, they try to assist me to do the setting and restart the phone. Is still the same issue and the customer service say they don't have any network issue around my area and they will help me to launch a report. I am not sure how long does it take as the bad service is interrupting me as I was currently work from home.
The other issue I want to highlight here is the 1gb data provided by Malaysia government. Maxis have change their apps recently to prevent users to claim the free data. I use the word prevent because maxis did not inform his customer about the changes in the apps till I call the customer service and ask about it. I have colleagues using other telco provider, the telco automatically provide the data and there is no restrictions using it, unlike maxis is restricted and follow their T&C.
I was a maxis loyal customer since 1998. I paid premium price for maxis service but I don't feel that maxis provided the equal amount of premium service to their customers. The Internet connection is too bad, even the telco like Digi and Yoodoo have a better Internet connection. I have proven this by doing a speed test in my area. Remember Maxis is charging premium price!
Maxis is giving better benefits to new customers which is good ways of marketing and expending their customers based but the sad thing is they have forget about the existing customers that supports maxis for many years.
The other thing I can see other telco are activity promoting, giving attractive benefits to their new customers and at the same time they are giving more attractive discounts on the monthly subscription fee and other programs to retain their existing customers.
As a maxis supporter for many years I really feel disappointed or I felt cheated with this kind of services. Honestly speaking I am now eveluating other telco and possibly switching to others.
I hope maxis will improve in the future.

Missed leading klcc maxis centre sales staff
04/11/20, 18:57, Ticket No.4079 - I went to Maxis Centre Klcc to inquiry about device plan with them. One of the sales staff had advise about current promotion which is RM1 Year End Sales instead of Zerolution Plan(as per our interested). She briefed a procedure and what i need to take action. First of all, i need to add-on a supplementary line and upgrade to Plan128 and i need to pay upfront payment which is RM594. After do all the cross checking and everything, I agreed with the all idea and advise given. I had settled add-on the supplementary line on that day, she told me that, after the process effective, so i need to come back to Maxis Centre and do upgrading on the principal line to the Plan128. Then, everything will be entitled. She also had been reserved the device Vivo V20 Pro as per my intention. The Sales Staff Code: AMEERAA
19/11/20, 19:09, Ticket No.4095 - I visited back to Maxis Centre Klcc to settle down all necessary things as per advised on 04/11/20. Unfortunately, the Sales Staff who the one attended previously was on leave. I had been attended by another Sales Staff, which is Indian Girl at counter 11. By the way, after she done the checking, i had been informed that all the information given to me on 04/11/20 not valid, which is the price required is different(RM1507) and the procedure as well. The Sales Staff informed me that, she can't do nothing due to there is no communication recorded state in the system. I am so dissatisfied with the all service given and information delivered. Furthermore, it had been involved another part, which is we had been port-in the supplementary number from another telco which is not the intention, but yet due to simply want to get promotion and fulfil the terms&condition required. Finally, i end up with useless effort and action. Who will gonna be to responsible of all this matter?

I have visited maxis centre located in pj inside digital mall. When I walk in to inquiry about my payment. There were 2 staff in the centre and 1 of them was very rude and they are talking each other with their language (chinese) and did not help us to settle the problem. He was very rude and I didn't know how he qualified to work there to entertain customer who will walk in to your centre. I hope you have to teach the ball headed to respect the people as we are paying for our bills not getting it for free. Hope you can consider my complaint towards him and teach him to change his behavior.
Maxis post paid line with my xs max
Hi maxis I pay monthly for my maxis line/fibre and new line. Im in losing alot job coz I cant get my both phone network, im borrowing my neighbour network unifi. I feel shame that I cant complaints any nuts thru 2 phone with no bar maxis. I feel embarrassed by maxis now. I'm losing a lot of bussiness coz of this. But monthly ur bill need to settle if not you cut my line. I'm kindly loyal asking pls solved this, before I complaint to news and media. This is not fair at all! Pls advice!
False promise / incompetent staff and sop
I booked online on 22nd Sept 2020 tend to recontract Samsung Galaxy note 20 Ultra (Mystic White) for 012-8038640 under zerolution with share 48 plan, after booking was made and confirmed, I called in to the hotline as I input a wrong postal code, the first agent suggest to cancel and rebook and it can be instant, I waited for estimated 40 minutes, called in again as it is still not possible to rebook, second agent told me that the order is not cancel, can assist me to change the postal code, so I was happy, I called in again on 23th September 2020 morning 9am to check on the status, a guy told me no issue and can amend the postal code, as delivery is scheduled for 24th September 2020, I proceed with the live chat service in the afternoon and agent assured me that the postal code has been changed successfully and it won't reflect in the order tracking site as it is manually change. To my surprised, one guy from maxis called me on the scheduled date 24 sept 2020 morning told me it is cancel and have to rebook, I proceed to rebook and my number 012-8038640 is greyed out as attached, in the after I chat with agent again if I can walk in to maxis centre klcc to self collect the phone instead, and I was told that it can be done, I went there after work and traffic, and wasted about 30 minutes talking to the staff and still fail to get a phone, while above are all agent solution, it has truly caused me inconvenience and I was given a case number C24681258, I sincerely hope such simple issue can be resolved quickly and I believe I have been much patience thus far
