On Sept 18th I brought several Indiana Lottery tickets in to the store located on Portage Rd in South Bend, In. I provided the time, the place, what I was wearing, to be reviewed by the surveillance team, I have had zero response. I was clearly seen standing in line counting my tickets in excess of $500 to be cashed in, I was presented back with only $465 in cash. I asked the lady cashing them in, to show me the winners she cashed in, a $50 winner was missing from the stack I turned in. Video would of clearly showed me counting the tickets while standing in line, but not all tickets were shown to me after the cashier paid out my prize. I obviously am not allowed behind the counter to see where my other ticket was, so I politely exited the building after questioning the cashier, and filed the complaint. I have asked 3 times in writing to have these tapes of the transaction to be reviewed, with no response from Meijer Inc. Im assuming by now, 3 weeks later the tapes no longer exist. Why was I not contacted by a Meijer rep, or a corporate Meijer rep in this matter. I have the e-mails showing I repeatedly contacted corporate to look into this matter, each response was followed by a survey for me to complete, and a promise a Meijer member would be in contact immediately. Nothing has been done in my case # CS0584355, which was filed on Sept 19th, 2023. I understand a single $50 winner is nothing to a huge corporation, but to me, it was very important. And to take no action by Meijer in this case is appalling, pretty much telling me my case doesnt matter, and if a theft, or simple mistake was made by Meijer Inc, they will not address my concerns. Im truly sorry that in this day and age, you will not follow up, or contact an individual filing a claim. Brian J Weber.
Desired outcome: I would like to know if the missing $50 winning scratch off ticket was misplaced, or its whereabouts. And why wasnt I being contacted about my case by Meijer Inc?
