Meijer review: Pharmacy delivery

I learned today from the Rockford MI Meijer that prescription delivery is ending Oct. 1. It has been widely reported that Covid cases are on the rise and we are entering what is typically the worst time of year for illnesses, particularly Covid. Those of us at high risk for Covid's severe complications used this service as a means to help us maintain our health safely, minimizing our need to be in public spaces. I understand that having prescriptions mailed is available for some medications but not all, such as insulin which is vitally important to those who need it.

Would you please consider keeping prescription delivery available, at least through the winter when Covid cases are at their highest? I realize that the disabled and elderly are not your core demographic and you cater mainly to those younger and active but we all spend our dollars at Meijer and the disabled and elderly use your pharmacy services more than most. Those of us who are among your more vulnerable customers would appreciate it very much if you would consider our need for this service.
