I'm DONE shopping at Menards! From now on I will be shopping at LOWES! They allow me to bring my dog in with me. My dog is cleaner than some of the employee's I have seen at Menards...AND MY DOG IS SMARTER than a lot of them that work there too! Stick it where the sun don't shine Menards! You just gave LOWES my business!
Well... I feel sorry for you. You're probably one of those people that bring your screaming brat kids into the stores!
People who feel the need to take their animals everywhere with them have serious issues.
Well "Boots", YOUR parents brought YOU into stores, didn't they? Or did they leave you at home in your crate?
I am very glad they have that policy dogs stink and should not be around food .Stick with Low, es.
Why can't I bring my dog into Menard's? It is a home improvement center and if they sell food, it is all wrapped up and my dog isn't going into the freezers or into the aisles and opening up packages anyways! I keep her right at bay, with me in my cart. Yes, I enjoy taking her with me, she is very well mannered and as some remarked here, better than some children I see running amuck in the aisles with no supervision or screaming at the top of their lungs for attention... My baby is quiet... you do not even know she is there... She is even scared of most people and is not aggressive at all. This really hurts my feelings to think that I can't take her there. I don't normally go to home improvement stores anyways, but when I do, I would think that would be the perfect area to take her to!.. Sad.. just sad... And I can't help those that do not like animals... I don't like many children, either, but I can't stop that... you can stop me, but I have to deal with your irate, unruly children while I am trying to concentrate and shop.
Menard's sells food...Lowes and Home Depot do not...that's the difference...would you want a dog in a grocery store...common sense goes along way...and yes I'm a dog owner and take my dog with me when and where it is appropriate.
Knowing how Menards feels about dogs being in their stores and being a customer with disabilities that requires a service dog. Menards doesn’t extend a very friendly welcome to folks like me, which is very disappointing d/t the fact that many of our Veterans are in similar situations. It shouldn’t matter if my dog is labeled as a Service Dog or not it’s the principle of the matter..
