June 2020 to Aug 2020 I have submitted several rebates to the Elk Mound, WI P.O. Box. I have yet to receive any rebates within my mail and yes I know they look like junk mail, so I know what to look out for. I went on the rebates international tracking website and none of my rebates are listed as processed or "tracked", there is no record of them. Zilch. I have emailed the customer service at the rebates international for questions and concerns only to have a generic "We have received your request and please be patient, and do not submit any more requests or it will slow the process down." I am beyond frustrated, as this is not the first time I have not received my rebates in the mail. The last time would've been in 2017, and at the time I did not pursue following up, so Menards got me and my money. I do feel it's all a scam, or there is a bigger "behind the scenes theft occurring within the system". Unfortunately Menards is a monopoly in my Eau Claire WI area, as there is no other bigger supply store to shop among for home projects. It is very upsetting and frustrating that this is happening and I know I am not alone in my complaint. So I will not be shopping at Menards for any more projects. I will figure out a way to avoid them at all costs.
I object to the Menards Rebate idea. I believe it's a way to make customers feel like they are getting a deal, when in fact you have to take time to complete the rebate form, place it in an envelope, add an expensive stamp to it and take it to the mailbox and be sure it's mailed before the deadline. You also have to track your rebates to be sure you actually receive them. I much prefer shopping in a store that is having a sale, has sent me coupons, or offers me 20% or more off on my purchase. When I have completed my shopping trip, I simply go home with saved money in my pocket. I don't have to remember to submit my rebate before the expiration date. This routine keeps all that money in the Menards pocket instead helping out the customers. Michigan Shopper
I agree with you! Now they give you a rebate in a form of store credit! What a scam! They’re hoping no one takes the time to do the rebates! Or read the small print…you get a store credit!

I received my rebate check like before in about 5 weeks. The problem I have is that my grand baby spit up all over it along with other papers and destroyed it. Being that this is as you say a check can you cancel that one and reissue a new check?
I have had problems with the rebates as well. I have spent over $7,000 and when I checked on line, nothing comes up with my name. I sent them a not so nice letter, they got back to me so I had to send more information on the money I spent. I think it is all a scam because after 3 months, nothing. I will not be shopping there any more unless I can get these rebates back, well over $600 that I could use to buy tools and other things I really need but not willing to spend any more money there.
Please help on June 6th I made a big purchase and I lost the rebate form I do not know how to go about getting my rebate. The rebate will be nearly $1000. I have been to the store several times and they just refer me to the web site which I get and find out nothing ! This is terribly upsetting because it has been months and I have no results, Would somebody please please tell me how to get my rebate I realize its a store credit and thats just fine,If anybody has a phone number that I can call and not have to pay for their service please get back with me my emai is nursepaty2k@yahoo.com. Of anybody has ever had the same problem please tell me how you solved it.This has caused so much trouble with my husband because I was the one that lost the rebate form that was to be sent in.I feel like such a dummy not being able to get this resolved. We spent $8200.00 that day on privacy fencing and the ONLY reason we went to Menards was for the rebate. I have the original; receipt but one can hardly read it because the ink is too light. If you can help me please do thank you
In August of this year, 2022 I sent in a rebate form for several items. I have yet to receive the first one sent in. Rebate number 1921 (2) and rebate number 1916. I did not receive in the mail and would like to have it issued or re-issued. We were hit by a tornado March 5, 2022 and need the rebate so we can buy more supplies. Thank you,

I recently heard some folks did a remodel of their home, spent $20,000 and had $2000, in rebates coming. They didn't get them and contacted Menards; they got a total of $88.00 from Menards as the other rebates were cashed by someone else! I contacted Menards today and told them they need to go back and start again to ask for ID'S when people bring them in. It may have been postal workers? Menards was of no help to these folks except to get them the last $88.00 in rebates, out of $2000.! I have over $430.00 coming to me in rebates, I saved all my receipts and when you go to track them, you need the number under the rebate. A lot of good that does, I SENT THEM IN! I didn't take a photo of the 28-digit number on the rebate. It's feeling scammy out there. I will go to the AG in Minnesota if I don't get my rebates. I shopped at Menards for the rebates, I have been visiting Home Depot now until the rebates come through.
Menard's makes money every day your ""rebate"" is not processed... because your money is in their accounts drawing interest and buying more stuff for them to sell. WHY MAIL? because folks look at the $0.50 stamp and the $0.69 rebate and toss it... That adds up to tens of thousands of rebates that never get submitted. If it were done online there would be NO chance of it getting "lost in the mail" OR delivered AFTER the rebate closed. If you EXPECT the rebate to save you a few bucks go play the slots or a scratch-off game... the odds are about the same. I have 6 that are "lost", not huge amounts but they add up and if you're living on disability? It hurts. Menard's motto? ""Anything for a buck!""
Could not have said it better. It's a scam. I'll stick with Lowes better prices and deals without the bs rebates that never arrive.
