construction going on above my room.
I checked into Motel6 in Merrillville Indiana, and I checked in at 1 a.m. on May 9th. Check out isnt till 12p.m. well there is construction taking place above my room. with drills and alot of hammering. I am unable to rest. I never had this problem here before. I call the front desk to report the noise yet still the noise is still happening. I am very upset about this especially when im trying to rest and I cant. I will appreciate it if someone can get back to me regarding this matter this is unacceptable. [protected]

There are numerous complaints from all over the country about "Pet Friendly" Motel 6 allowing dogs to get out, and they do nothing.
room was filthy
I had checked my family and I with my 5 month old baby into motel 6 haciendo heights after work we had a hard time getting a goods night rest as soon as my wife found a roach crawling by the beds and we noticed the floor had big stains right by the legs of the bed the a.c. wasn't used and it's very dusty I was going to request to change rooms but by the time I had noticed how bad it was the baby was asleep and my wife used one your motels towel to clean it was very uncomfortable especially the roach the ran into a crack in the corner of the room by the window also the sink was leaking water straight down and our clothes on the floor were soaked
▪1)roach was running from under the nightstand between the beds into the crack in the corner as seen in picture #2
▪2)the floor in between the 2 beds was filthy and the towel was used to clean it as in picture #1
▪3)the sink was draining the water straight to the ground trash can was used to catch the water
▪4)the were a few wrappers under the bed that were not ours. They were left behind from previous guest showing the housekeeper isn't doing a thourou job
▪5) I got very little rest because I had a filthy room I wasn't aware until it was later in the night and my baby was asleep
I want something done about the money a spent and the poor quality of the room I choose motel 6 because I feel they are very clean and always good service I have not ever experienced this with motel 6 I would have spent 40 dollars on a cheap room if were careless to the cleanliness of a room I spent 78$ and for 1 night and I am very unsatisfied with it this time

I purchased 2 rooms on April 8, 2018 at the Motel 6 Austin Peay in Memphis, TN. It was the worst hotel stay I have ever had from check in. I used to work for Motel 6 and I was morbidly upset. The staff was so unprofessional. When I walked in the door they were talking about (out loud at that) putting another guest out. They didn't have the rooms I requested together. The hotel itself was dirty and full of questionable people. It smelled like marijuana the whole time. The floor in both rooms was nasty. I couldn't walk around without the floor sticking to the bottom of my shoes. There was a rat hole in one room and the rat was coming in and out of the hole. I had grandchildren in that room. I will never stay at that hotel ever again. It was ridiculous. I need my money back. I've stayed in w[censored] house motels in better condition that that. Somebody need to bulldoze that place down.

I recently stayed at the motel just last night and I took my 2 chuihauas they kept going under the bed so I looked under the bed and they were licking a glass pipe with brown stuff in it about 20 min later my dogs are flipping out I rushed out of there and now im at the animal hospital . Housekeeping failed to clean under the beds because they were filthy. My dogs are getting fluids and they are high.

The facility is absolutely trashed. The staff is extremely rude. The laundry equipment doesn't work. The room smells of mold. They don't offer WiFi even though the sign clearly states they do. I'll spend the extra money from now on to avoid this chain. Unless respiratory infection kills me first. I forgot to mention I've killed three roaches so far. Impressive body count

Work 3rd shift room service comes to my room every day and wakes me up when I ask for a do not disturb, they tell me they don't have do not disturb and that I have to take room service... so this means 2hrs after I go to sleep I have to get up and stand out side till they get done with my room... I'll never stay with motel 6 again.

My husband and I and our 11 month old stayed at the motel 6 in monteagle tn in room # 227 on 5/2/18-5/3/18. We reserved a room offline for $44.97 plus tax and when we arrived at the front desk the lady charged is $60 something for our room. When got to our room it looked like it was only half cleaned. Under both beds and behind the nightstand the floor looked like it has not been swepped or mopped in a long time. There was pieces of old food and dirt under both beds. There was no phone in the room . there was neither a sink stopper or a bathtub stopper. There was not a coffee pot in the room. We turned the air conditioning on and it was not putting out cold air so my husband opened it up to check the filter and the filter looked like it has never been cleaned or replaced. My husband cleaned it and now it is putting out cold air. The door entering the room does not close tightly. It looks like it needs to be tightened up.

I've been staying at motel 6 in Vicksburg, Ms for the last month with James McKay for work at Grand Gulf Nuclear, , our room was in his name..
I go to pay another weeks rent and swap the room into my name and get told this can't be done, , they have no weekly rates anymore and the cost of the room will be increased by $150 per week, not to mention the desk clerk can't complete the transaction... She claims she has to check my out since my roommate got laid off and left this week..
I've traveled all over the south and stayed in many hotels where I was treated much better than here.. this isn't the first time Mr McKay or myself have had problems with this location... Id appreciate any help you may have in resolving my problems here... I've heard of others on the job having similar problems with this location and things we union folks consider shady...
I am complaining about my stay
I am very disappointed in staying here I reserve to check in Saturday and check out Monday but I need a refund because I'm having to get up and leave today which is Saturday because a roach was crawling on the floor that's nasty and uncleanliness and unsanitary for people to stay here at a motel and having to pay there money to stay in something that's not clean and refreshing for them
no hot water
First of all my husband has terminal cancer in his lymph nodes and bones. This was suppose to be our get away from home. We woke up this morning to shower and there was no hot water. Also not as important as a hot water but there's no hair dryer, no coffee maker, no shampoo, and a small bar of soap one. I spoke with an older lady this morning when i went to check out and she said maybe the hot water and cold water was backwards no I told her we checked that. She Shrugged her shoulders and was rude. When we checked in yesterday everyone in the office was very friendly and nice. We are leaving next month for cabin rental in the smokies and usually we stay at Motel 6 halfway I don't think that will happen ever again sorry to say that. My husband having cancer needed his shower this morning and could not even take one. This is the Motel 6 that we stayed at 281 U.S. 41 Bypass, Venice, FL 34285. I checked into the motel 6 at 224 128th street in Everette Washington on April 23rd 2018. I had checked out of the motel 6 in San Francisco 2 days earlier and had driven straight through for work. I stayed in motel 6 almost 365 days a year until today. When we arrived on the 23rd ( my girlfriend and I, we work together on cell tower sites nationwide) anyway, motel 6 computers were down but the girl at the front desk was great, she went and found a clean room and gave us a key and told us she would call us to bring our ID's down once the system was back online. That never happened but it didn't seem to be a big deal, we got up every morning and went to work putting in 12 to 14 hours and then returning to the hotel at night to sleep. Until Friday night, this night there were some people on our floor that were running up and down the stairs all night and laughing and talking loudly to the point that I put a cell phone camera pointing out my window to keep an eye on my work truck. Several times through the night I was woke up and looked at my other phone that was my monitor for my cell camera. I noticed the people throwing trash from there car into the parking lot, I even saw the security guard walk up and say something to them and then walk away with a look like he was half scared of them. I just went back to sleep each time and in the morning we got up and went to work. That Friday my company had also extended my reservation for 2 more weeks so I would not be checking out on that sat (today) so we are at work in downtown Seattle when I get a text from my boss saying that I have been put on a do not rent list and that my stuff is being packed up and moved out of my room. I immediately call the hotel and the manager is very condescending and says that it's for nonpayment and I should know that check out is at noon. I quickly tell her that there has been some mistake but I will immediately leave work and come pay for the room myself and to please not touch my belongings. She promptly tells me she will go stop them and will take the payment when I get there. I drop everything and fly back to the motel 6 only to find that this manager had them pack all my stuff and put it in a break room. She proceeded to tell me that I threw trash in her parking lot and refused to watch the video I had of it being other people, people by the way that she had to have the police come and remove from the property earlier. She accused me of being loud when it was us that was kept up all night by the other guests, people we never met or saw other than on my camera footage. She then said we ruined linens, I said how we have only slept here and then she said there was a very dirty towel in our room, ah yes I spilled a cup of coffee and I cleaned it up, which you wouldn't have even seen if you hadn't violated me and my things. I mean my God I will pay for your towel. I was like you have to be kidding me why are you doing this, I'm supposed to be at work right now, you can clearly see the room is paid for for the next two weeks, I understand you made a mistake and thought we were those other people but enough is enough, I have video proving it wasn't us, we were a victim of your terrible security that failed to quiet the loud guests and we were woken up several times last night ourselves, she refuse to look at the video still saying it was us with a smug better than somebody look on her face and said besides you had unregistered guests. I then pointed out that the young lady standing beside her was the one that had checked us in and that there computers were offline when we arrived. The young lady also tried to tell her boss that none of this was our fault and we were telling the truth. 2 employees went with me to the break room to help me get my belongings down to my truck. Both employees were apologizing profusely and saying they didn't understand why that manager was being like that. The one that checked us in even gave me her email address and said she would be more than happy to write a statement about how we were treated. I thanked her and drove a quarter mile away to a parking lot where I callled motel 6 corporate and was basically told they would be happy to book me a room at another motel 6 but that was all they could do for me. So I'm sitting here in that parking lot right now feeling like someone broke into my house and went through all my belongings, treated me like less than dirt unapologetically and quite literally threw me out into the rain. I have money but I cannot bring myself to even consider staying in another hotel, ever, I may go buy a camper to stay in while I travel for work. This experience has been life changing and a real eye opener to how corporations can disrespect you, violate you, insult you, and then ignore you.

My complaint is with management. M.O.D Rocio when main management is gone she runs the place like a Nazi camp. She has a problem with me and I am afraid to say anything about her to the person above her. She sent me home early for letting her know that I would do what she asked in a little bit. She yelled and cussed at me over the raido which was on. I have not ever not done what I have been told to do. She has tried before to get me fired, and I still try to talk to her because of her position, but she ignors me, and treats me as I'm below her. I do believe that she is going beyond her position being like that to me as well as others who are afraid to speak against this person in fear of losing there job such as I.

The room was not clean at all.
Right when we walked in the room we can see the floors very dirty from not being cleaned. We see dog hair stuck to the floors. There were food crumbs on the tables, as well as food & saliva stuck to the phone receiver. The light switches were near charcoal color. There was fingerprints on the mirrors. You can tell that pillows haven't been changed in who knows how long because they were flat. There were used soaps & soap wrappers in the shower. There was some sort of splatter marks on the ceiling over the vanity. There was runny rust on the doors. There was a booger over toilet paper holder. The outlet by sink wasn't working. I only took a couple pics. The workers knock on your door to leave hours before checkout

I was a guest at the motel 6 on boy scout rd in augusta ga from 4/20/18 to 4/27/18. All was going good until the day before i was suppose to check out when one of the office personal (male, light skin, long braided hair) came to my room announced himself as maintenance and proceeded to tell me that if i was going to be staying longer that i had to move rooms and i must let the maid come in my room. I already knew that and had no problem with anyone coming in my room but the thing is NOT ONCE during my whole stay did a maid ask to come in, did not offer to sweep and mop or even take my old towels and wash clothes. I was brought new towels and asked if i needed anything and when i said no she left never saying anything about coming in. when i would ask for a roll of toilet paper it was like i was asking for the whole tree. during my time there i could have complained about a few things like the water not getting hot or the tv channels not working or the mold and mildew growing in the tub but i didn't so for the maid to go and tell office person i wouldn't let her in is a complete lie. I NEVER TOLD ANYONE THEY COULDN'T COME IN MY ROOM! I was disrespected for no reason at all. I will stay under a bridge before I have to stay at motel 6.

I came from over 2hrs away and accidently forgot the required photo id for check in. I did have photo id to prove I was who I said I was and I had the card I had booked the reservation with. Mistakes happen...people forget stuff but the staff would not check me in and customer service could not give me a reason as to why they would not accept another photo id. I work in customer service...this is not how you treat customers! HORRIBLE!

I was turned away by the GM on Jaboon St. He said my husband took too long to come check in at the front desk. I explained to him that he was ill with stomach problems and it did not take an hour. To be denied service was demeaning and totally uncalled for. I'd greatly appreciate a response from your office. We weren't being rude and I've never had a problem, this man judged me very unfairly

On April 12, 2018 I contacted Motel 6 at 1340 North State St in Ukiah, Calif 95482 and reserved a room for 4 nights to begin on April 20, 2018 for my step-daughter who was arriving from Georgia. I reserved and paid for 4 nights. My confirmation number was 8903ABD867. I informed the reservation clerk that my Step-daughter would be arriving around 1AM due to her flight and rental car reservations. Was assured that was fine as they were open 24 hrs a day.
My Step-daughter arrived about 12:30 AM April 20, 2018 and was told by a disrespectful rude young man that she has no reservation and refused to look at her confirmation number which I had provided her. She was a woman who was tired after 17 hrs of travel and didn't know our town. She was told to leave the Motel because the clerk " didn't like her attitude" We directed her to the nearest motel which was Travelodge and she had to spend $ 113.99 for a night to get off the street. At about 10AM on April 20, 2017 my Step-daughter and I met at Motel 6 so I could find out what happened to the room that I paid 4 nights for her to stay in. The helpful clerk that had originally helped with the reservation found that the room was paid for and no reason that she should have been turned away. My Step-daughter continued her stay at your Motel. I left word for the Owner to return my call as I felt that she was owed her $ 113.99 back that she had to spend as I had already paid for her to stay at Motel 6. I have called twice and have still not heard from the Owner.

Hello my name is Billy and I stayed in a Motel 6 recently on the 20th in Petaluma Ca for 120 dollars. It was my two nieces, my son and I. I reserved the room on the corporate Website. Upon entering the room it smelled of mildew and feet and water had damaged the bottom of the door so bad it was coming apart at seems. We had one towel between all of us. The Front desk said there were no additional towels. There was a hole in the bathroom door that had recently been patched. it looks as if a head was slammed through(or fist). The skin and hair had have been painted over! It is still there in that room today along with the MOLD in the bathroom & the rotting door as I write this email. . immediately went to the front desk he told me "Okay" . That was all. When I opened the 'only' towel it had pubic hair inside the neatly rolled towel. I was in town because a family member had passed away and we were attending a funeral the next day at 10 am. I had no additional money for another hotel and thought I could stick it out for six or seven hours. It was certainly safer than sleeping outside was our only other option. So we tryed to sleep. I could not hear my kids speak it was so loud and mildew smell was almost intolerable. This went on for hours and hours. Around 3:30am the upstairs was So loud that drywall and dust were falling in our face from vibration. I couldn't do anything except call again. The attendant did ask them to quiet down, I could hear him ask that's how loud it(they) were. It just got worse. I didn't expect much because this was the same person who painted over somebody's hair and left pubic hair in the ONLY towel we (BETWEEN US) were to bath with. Now, I mind you my 2 nieces (2 & 5 years old) My son (9) and I have been trying to sleep for 7 hours at this point. I do not know how to explain it but it sounded like somebody was walking back and forth from wall-to-wall, constantly stepping and stepping loudly. Not every 10 minutes or 20 minutes but constantly back and forth, it did stop. I recently retired from the US Army. I have seen a lot of things being in the military, but that was by far the worst night me & my family has endured in queit some time, if ever. I don't think more than two hours of sleep were taken by us that entire nite! I almost intentionally stayed out of family photos because we were so worn down.. As soon as we could leave, we did so. I do not know how this could happen. For 120 dollars or zero dollars a night I would never stay anywhere that horrible again. It really wad a night from hell As the corporate office, I understand they are probably franchised and you have No control, but who do I seek for a refund? Or could someone call me please? I needed my sheets changed because of a urine accident by my husband.
I bagged the soiled sheets and took them to the front desk. My husband has a medical condition and some urine leaked from his bag onto the bed sheets. Not to embarass him, I told the front desk worker that I spilled something on the sheets. I requested another set of sheets, preferablu without cigarette burn holes. I am an attorney working in the area from out of town. Staying for a week or more. My husband travels with me on these longer trips. We have our 2 ESA certified dogs with us. The front desk lady took the bag from me, opened it up behind the counter. Took it around the counter and pulled everything out right in the lobby then demanded that I smell the souled area. I did not. I asked her if she wanted me to take the sheets and wash them. She said no and that the manager would be charging me and I could expect to be kicked out. She also said that my dogs peed all over the bed, absolutely not accurate. We obviously know the culprit of the urine, small amount at best. It was not on her to say ANY of those things. We are very upset by this treatment. AND SHE SAID WE COULD NOT HAVE ANY MORE SHEETS!
