Flight cancelled but won’t credit me the money paid
We had two flights booked with myflightsearch. Covid hit. We called them and the flights were cancelled in February 2020. Because of Covid, Air Canada refunded myflightsearch the price of our tickets. But now myflightsearch will not send that money to us. We have had multiple calls and emails to no avail. We get a different excuse every time. Can you help?

I made reservations for a flight in may which was canceled by the company itself. Then they took payment for the flight in the amount of 593.20 in may and I have waited 4 weeks for them to process the refund they keep giving me the run around and not wanting to refund my money. I have sent several emails no on responds. I call they tell me they dont have supervisors to talk with. They tell me to wait 10-14 days then hang up. This is very disappointing and not very customer friendly. I would like my money.

On Feb 20, 2020, I booked a flight (373614) from Ottawa to Proserpine, Quensland for April 13, 2020. The pandemic prohibited this flight.
After receiving a letter from Air Canada that refunds are being issued for booking reference # NAGPUS, I am requesting a refund.
I have called 7 times today and have been cut-off 7 times, regardless of leaving my tel. # for a call back, That has not happened.
I am very disappointed and frustrated with the service provided by MyFlight Search.com.

I purchase two airline tickets March 2020 Flight # 377664 waited for confirmation on this flight over 24 hours tried the call to speak to someone but never did get to speak to anyone then I email to cancel my flight I did get a email back that my money will be refunded to my account but they did refunded they money. I have contacted then several times through email enquiring about my refund and keeps the same answer that I will get my refund within 14 business day it has been over a year now and I am still waiting on my refund

I ordered a ticket to phoenix, AZ from CVG. They cancelled my flight and have not refunded my money! I am have called countless times they said they were sending it in the mail they never did. Going on 6 months still nothing, I am military it's not easy for me to take trips to see my family. I missed a funeral because they cancelled my flight it would be nice to get a refund back

I bought 2 tickets to fly between Canada an Europe due to a family emergency, I paid them receive the confirmation email. without any problem.
One hour later I receive two emails with the cancellation of both flights, with the message attached:

No body call me and I didn't request any cancellation.
I answered those emails nobody answer me back.
When I called to customer service they said "flights were cancelled due to something suspicious" NO more explanation and send me to the airline to get the ticket.
That itinerary was coordinated with some others booking flights in Europe, Covid19 test, and hotels... and produce me some inconvenient.
Is was absolutely irresponsible the way that they cancelled, lying about a fake call requesting cancellation.
The worst page ever.

They are big Liers. They kept saying they sent out the refund check since last year March /2020, but they never did until Today Jan /19/2020. They steals money from customers. Their service is [censored]. Don't trust them. I had worst experience ever.

I purchased tickets on June 9 for tickets in October 2020. It went on my charge card but they wanted to charge me more for the tickets so they could assure me the tickets. I said no and wanted my tickets refunded. They said sure it would take maybe up to 60 days. I have called them 4 times and still no refund! I called today and they said 2 more weeks. Not happy with this so called company. I just want my money back. I am retired so money is very tight. Please help me

RE: Booking 370085. I booked tickets for 3 passengers for July 2020. Due to the Covid, I cancelled our travel plans & informed My Flight in June 2020. I was informed at that time my credit card would be credited, which has not happened. I have notified My Flight & have been informed several times I would be mailed a check for the refund. On May 16, 2020 we booked a flight with my flightsearch.com, And entertaining to a contract for a flight leaving on December 18 from White Plains New York and arriving to Fresno with a return flight on December 30 from Fresno California and returning to White Plains New York. The total price of $495.84 was paid to my flightsearch.com, And an eTicket 0017524914936 was issued. Then on September 22, 2020, An agent from my flight search.com called to make changes to our flight stating that because of cancellations with American Airlines, they needed to make changes to our booking. They recommended a change leaving White Plains New York on December 17 arriving to Fresno, And a return with a departure on December 30 from Fresno and arriving to white plains New York. We did not receive any new confirmation or any new eTicket number with the changes that my flight search.com had advised us. On October 13 I called to find out why we had not received new confirmation and was told that because of cancellations that we would need to change departure dates and airports to JFK and that an additional $60 would need to be charged in order to make those changes. I was also informed that a full refund would need to be made to my original card which would take 5 to 7 business days and that in order to make the new changes they would need to charge my card an additional $495. They are refusing to just apply credits from the original charge stating that their computer systems will not allow them to apply those credits. I told them that in no way would I give them another $495 to make a new reservation when I had not received a refund first. I have spent over two hours on the phone and have had to call back multiple times in order to try to speak to a " supervisor. I would advise that no one do business with my flight search.com. They have not agreed to give me a refund without booking another flight. This is a scam, in order to get more money, and then claim that the refund is in pending.

I have been trying for months to recover monies taken on my credit card to purchase one ticket in March and April. Instead of your company used the same card and ticket # to rebook they charge my credit card for the 2nd ticket. During these challenging times there were no emails from your company. Can you imagine been stuck in another country unable to get to the booking agent?
West Jet stopped flying due to COVID-19. It was extremely difficult to speak with any representative at myflight.com during the time COVID-19 was raging havoc all over the world. Since then I have been requesting monies to be put back on my credit card.
On August 18, 2020 I spoke with Skylar who told me the money will be refunded between 5-7 business days.
To date there is no refund of a total of $US490.68
Medical problems now will not allow me to travel
I will not stop trying and need a resolution to this outstanding amounts.

No refund for cancelled flight
Sadly, I bought a plane ticket with MFS. (Booking number 418229)
My story is the same as many I've read about. The flight was cancelled, they NEVER gave me a heads up or an email about the cancellation. When I called MFS customer service, they told me they HAD sent me an email (even though they hadn't). I asked them in late June 2020 for a refund and they told me it would take 21-28 days to process because their systems were backed up due to COVID (?)
So, I waited a month, called back, and then they said just 10 more days.
So I waited 10 days, called back, then was told ‘just 5-7 business days'...
Lather, rinse, repeat, and what do you know? There's been a glitch and now they're going to mail me a check. Could take up to 14 days and their very sorry for the inconvenience. I ask to speak to a supervisor but unfortunately their supervisors are all in a meeting...
By this point I'm just playing a game that I don't expect to win but feel too stubborn to give up on. I call again, 14 days later, and they say it'll be fixed and electronically sent in 5 business days...
I ask to speak to a supervisor, apparently they're all in a meeting...I start getting really upset, explain my whole story and bad experience with them, and then he says the supervisors are coming out of their meeting and he'll go grab one for me. I wait on hold for 10 minutes and then the line cuts out.
So I call right back and now a lady tells me that they actually did mail a check, it's been processed, and that I should receive it in the mail any day now.
It's now late September, 2020, three months since I requested a refund for my flight that was cancelled. I don't ever expect to see the refund that they keep promising me.
Lesson learned, look up reviews BEFORE using ANY booking agency. I was blinded by the cheap flights. MFS is awful.
Fraudulent business!!
After booking my flight and confirming with me via phone me conversation the night prior that my flight was good to go on time, I arrived at the terminal the next day and they had no record of my reservation! I called their customer service line and they told me there was nothing they can do. Only gave me an email address to a "manager". Once I was in contact with him, he said
Myflightsearch will refund me my ticket price. but it's been almost 10 months and I have seen no refund. They keep saying "Please wait some time". They agreed to refund me my ticket but every time I contact them I spend about an hour on hold and once someone answers they transfer me to someone else... not a valid company! Do not book with them!
Booked tickets three months ago, they voided them and tried to charge me more money
If I could give a negative number I would! My reservations that were booked 3 months ago were voided by MyFlightSearch and when we contacted them they said it would cost more money to get tickets. We are supposed to fly out tomorrow and they are wanting to charge more money. When I asked for a supervisor they hung up on me. I have attempted to contact them 3 times and on hold for the 4th time all for over an hour and half. Upon further research...

In February of 2019 BBB noticed a pattern of complaints from consumers alleging Flight Search, Inc refused to issue refunds for errors made by the business, or issue promised refunds. Consumers also alleged the business made changes to reservations without notice to the consumer, made errors concerning the dates or cities of travel and charged fess not disclosed to the consumers. Consumers further allege the business claimed be an airline or a travel site that they are not.
BBB communicated our concerns to the business in February of 2019. Although the business indicted, they would review the matter and provide a response, to date the business has not provided BBB with the steps they will be taking to alleviate the pattern of complaints. As of April 2019, BBB continues to receive the same type complaints regarding the business.
Revocation:
On 12/05/2019 this company's accreditation in BBB was revoked by BBB's Board of Directors due to failure to eliminate the underlying cause of complaints on file with the BBB and unresolved complaint(s).

They took money for tickets, the message said the flight was booked. booking number 466625. They called a couple days before the trip and said there was a problem with the flight. Turns out they never booked the flight. When I called back they said it would cost more money. Turns out, this is a total scam! My friend was charged on her card. now she must call the bank and hopefully get her money back. These people need to be shut down!

also, they hung up on me when I tried to cancel. I called three or four times.
Ticket buyer wasn't notified that flight has been cancelled
My daughter bought a ticket to Alaska on Thursday, June 4 and never received the e-ticket which was promised within 24 hours. On Monday, June 8, she contacted customer service. When someone finally answered the phone (she was on hold for 7-10 minutes), my daughter was informed that the flight had been cancelled. The trip was scheduled for July. No communication was sent via email or by phone regarding the flight cancellation. She is seeking a full refund of the ticket purchase. The company told her that she would receive a full refund in 20-28 days. When asked about the delay in getting her refund, the blame fell on COVID-19.
We have already disputed this purchase with the fraudulent department at our bank and the Better Business Bureau. I will also be reporting this business as fraudulent on every single site that I can leave a review about it.

Purchased 3 tickets got confirmation and etickets
Got all information of the 3 tickets for the family to come from TX to OR. The day vbefore they were to leave got an email saying there was a change in the itinary. WHen trying to call to find out. I had to call American Airlines to find out that Myflightsearch cancelled the tickets right after taking the money out of my bank account and then cancelled the flights. I was not notified that the flights were cancelled until the day before the family was to flight out of TX.
When calling American Airlines they said the e-tickets weren't even valid e-tickets that I had. I have been on the phone with myflightsearch trying to resolve this issue and was on hole the first time for 2 hours and got hung up on. The second time someone answered I started explaining the situation and I told them I confirmed that the tickets were cancelled after payment went through and he put me back on hold and I am still on still on hold. I am very frustrated that they are not resolving my concern and issue.
Same issue! Still on Hold for 4th time. Hung up on me twice and still on hold. Blast them on every social media and review site you can! BBB has canceled its accreditation. I am going to contact a lawyer.
