No refund - FSON108543
Had a booking but changed plans. Easily cancelled and was told in an email the refund would appear on our card. Honestly never followed up for about 4 months due to health issues. Checked the account and no refund so sent an email. Auto reply said it could take a couple of weeks so I set a calendar reminder. Now we are in month 7. Called and got what sounded like an India call center. Was put on hold and line eventually went dead. Called another # from the email we received. Some guy answered and clicked around for a bit but the same death-march hold music came on and I let it play about 30 minutes before hanging up. Guess I'll have to play detective and hunt these jokers down.

Booking Flights
I believe this company is fraudulent in its business practices. I booked flights and had them confirmed. The email said they would send the tickets when my Visa was processed. The payment was cleared through Visa but I did not receive tickets. I called several times and each time someone said I would receive them in the next few days. I did not receive them. On the third call someone said the flight was overbooked and I would need to pay $700 more for new tickets. I said this was not acceptable and in the end my only option was to cancel my ticket and receive a refund. I rebooked my tickets using my travel points on the same flights. The flights were not overbooked as they said. If they had been they should have let me know during the 5 weeks since my tickets were paid for. If I had not persisted and it was closer to my departure time I may not have been able to rebook.
I would not recommend anyone using this agency unless they are prepared for disappointment being required to pay a great deal more than their advertised good deals.
Desired outcome: I would like them to change their fraudulent practices and send me a response.I am concerned about receiving my refund as previous complaints mentioned not receiving them.

Getting the run around on what is the truth. Tickets have almost tripled since you never got our tickets from United Airlines. We have no tickets and our vacation is paid for in Florida that we will be losing since we can not afford the ticket prices now.
Need to get on the flight that we booked 2 months ago and have been told etickets are coming. For the last 5 days I been ignored!

This is probably the 50th note I am writing and many phone calls which all went the same.. We are very sorry, and the refund has been processed. This nightmare started in may 2021 when I booked a flight thinking I was on the airline site and only after it was all done did I notice it was booked on my flight search. The charge of usd$a500.40 was put on my visa and about 2 weeks later my daughter called to say that the flights I booked did not exist! So I called my flight search who then told me that the flights were cancelled and that my refund had been initiated in their system and that I should receive it within days. Well, after many many follow ups and calls... Its now january 2022 and I still do not have a refund on my credit card. I want my money back. I feel so ripped off that I wish nothing but hell for this company.

I was ripped off! They owe me a full refund of US$500.40. This was charged on my credit card and the flight did not even exist according to my daughter who checked with the airline. My Flight Search said they were cancelled. [censored]! I want a refund for the charge on my card.
customer service and using flight credits
I purchased three round trip tickets to Hawaii in February 2020, for a trip to be taken in October of that year. I cancelled my trip due to covid. I wanted a refund and was told i could not get a refund but would have credit to reschedule the trip and was told that i could do that but had to reschedule before one year of the issue date of my original tickets which would have put it April 30, 2021, which was fine because we still intend to go. I was going to do that but wanted to wait because Covid was still a major threat, and after many tries to contact MFS (disconnected calls and being hung up on a few times)i finally reached someone and I was told there was an extension on flight credits so reschedule at a later date. I have been trying to reach them and have left several messages that claim they would return my call which has not happened, been disconnected after two rings several times, i actually talked to someone they asked for my booking number and my email address, then asked me to hold while they checked and then hung up on me. I am so frustrated...I want to reschedule my flight I don't want a refund. I am afraid I will not get the trip or my money back, I don't know what to do! This is only the second time I have ever booked and airline flight luckily the first time was pre Covid. I do know that I will never go through a third party agency again.

Flight Reservation Refund
Date of Incident: 10-18-2021; Booking No. FSON786030; I requested a refund back on October 18, 2021, and to date I haven't received it. Every time I call to speak to someone, I get disconnected. I have been calling on a daily basis and I'm not getting anywhere. When I do speak to someone, they tell me the same thing that should receive my refund in 3 days.

I had booked a flight for 3 before covid hit. I have been fighting with them ever since.
Finally on June 15 2021 they said my refund has been approved and I would receive it in 6-8 weeks.
Again I have been fighting for this, and today they told me I wasn't getting a refund and it has to be used by December 10 2021.
This has been going on since April 2020.
Our government made a deal with air Canada to refund all tickets, but my flight is refusing.

We booked a flight to Fort Myers Florida prior to Covid in 2020. Once Covid struck we were not allowed to travel there. We have spoken to numerous people at MyFlightSearch as well as having send many emails requesting our money back. We were promised a refund by the end of September 2021, then again by the end of October 2021. I called again and was told a supervisor would call me back within an hour. No call. I have called again but now I am just sent to voice mail asking for my name and number. Again, no return call. Very frustrating.

Scammed out of money for airline tickets
I purchased 2 roundtrip tickets from My Flight search on 8/27/21 for a flight on 10/4/21. Total price was $581.60. On 9/28/21, I received a voicemail from a male (no name or callback number) advising me that I need to change my travel dates since my tickets are no longer available. I contacted My Flight Search and was told that they had been trying to contact me without success. 9/28/21 was the first contact I had with them since booking my flight. I tried to find out what happened since my credit card had been charged for these tickets but could not get a satisfactory response. Since I was attending a convention, I had no flexibility in my travel dates and I received this call less than a week from the departure date. I decided to call the airline directly and found out that these tickets and flight were still available and we that we had never been booked for this flight to begin with. I called My Flight Search back advising them that these tickets should still be valid but the agent I spoke to told me that now the cost of the tickets was now substantially higher at $925.62. I decided to cancel these tickets (which had never been reserved) through My Flight Search and was advised that I would receive a cancellation e-mail and a full refund within 7-10 business days. I called the airline back and booked these same tickets for the same dates now @ $925.62. I have tried to contact My Flight Search several times from 10/1/21 - 11/12/21 to let them know that I never received my cancellation notice or refund. I had much difficulty reaching someone since I was disconnected many times. When I finally got through, I was placed on hold and eventually disconnected after I told them who I was. This is a fraudulent company preying on innocent people looking for a good price on airline tickets. I don't understand how they continue to operate in the USA after reading many bad reviews on the internet and the BBB. I would like the full refund that My Flight Search promised me of $581.60.

I made booking 2 times on August 17 and it was not succesful.

I was told it would be refunded but still not refunded.
When I had phone call 28th October Clerk said it would be refunded within one week but not refunded.
Today I phoned again but it was disconnected without any explanation.
Hereby I am claiming of refund and quick refund.

When I reach an agent either I am told the 'cheque is in the mail' OR they simply hang up on me.

lack of refund after over a year
I booked a flight with Myflightsearch.com for myself, my husband and our Daugther to fly to Toronto ON on July 2nd and to return to St. John's on July 9th. Since the pandemic hit we have been unable to travel so I emailed the company on June 4th asking about a travel voucher. Since the pandemic is still ongoing, on Jan 14, 2021 I called and messaged to cancel our trip and advised I would like a refund, however the refund would need to be sent in the form of a check because the Credit card I booked our flights on was no longer valid. I was finally sent a refund check on Aug 10th for $786.51 US ($968.98 Canadian) on Sept 7th I received an alert from my bank that this check bounced. I have been contacting this company on a regular basis since and have been getting no where. I was advised that a Money order or travelers check would be sent to replace the one that bounced and that was sent on Sept 14th. Two weeks past Sept 14th, I call the company again as I still have not received my refund. The rep advised it would take 21 days for the check to be sent before they can escalate on their end. We are now Oct 15th and I still have no refund. Now I am being told there is no way of tracking this check on their end and I just have to wait longer, that is ofcourse when I actually speak to someone with a little compassion and don't hang up when they don't know what else to say.

purchased in august 2021 booking number FSON89101 never was sent an e ticket started requesting 10/6 they kept saying it would be the next day, but I never received a reply called the airline (United) direct - they did not have a record of the booking, and one of the flights had been cancelled. I emailed to request a refund 10/11 . 10/12 tried calling customer service and the number hung up. called the number on the website and this was 'no longer in service'.

Hi, My story is so similar to all others I've been dealing with this since 2/17/2022 they keep telling me the refund went out and i have not recieved it call the number they keep hanging up on me. I don't know what else to do I need my monies back on my card this has caused me hardship I don't know what is my next step other than contact my attorney which is going to cost me 500.00 for them to handle a 399.92 transaction I'm at the point now it would be about principle of the fact.

Hello ladies and gentlemen, Following my e-mail below, to you, addressed on 13.08.21 at 20h18min (Belgian time) and your response on the same date at 17.54 (US time), I called your call center at [protected] on Monday August 16, 21, Tuesday August 17, 21 and Wednesday August 18, 21.
On 08.16.21, the operator of your call center that I got online asked me to confirm the contact details so that the relevant department can call me back to reschedule our trip. I had no feedback from this service that day.
On 17.08.21, I called your call center back and the operator I had online repeated the same thing to me as the one I had the day before. I then complained that I hadn't been called back the day before. This operator then promised me that the waiting period for the competent service to reschedule my trip should not exceed 1 hour and that if it was not the case I could call back after 1 hour. Two hours later, I called back and all the operators I had online put me on hold under the pretext of checking. The waits lasted so long that communications ended up stopping. I even suspect that some operators have voluntarily hung up without reserving the necessary follow-up to my file.
On 08/18/21, a first operator had exactly the same attitude as those of the two previous days. On my second attempt, another operator explained to me that the problem was due to an inability to contact me again because I live in Belgium and your telephone system does not allow your employees to reach a foreign telephone number. I cannot describe to you my amazement and dismay at this crucial information, only on the third day. You will agree with me that this risky management of files on the part of a travel agency of your standing speaks for itself.
So I had to make over ten phone calls over three days before I came up with the ticket refund deal I had with the last operator I had online.
I would also like you to know that, given the time I had to wait on the phone, the calls were billed to me by my telephone company. Am I to conclude from this, a false advertisement on the free telephone communications with your call center?
I hereby confirm to you my desire to be reimbursed for the $ 921.45.

Made a reservation using the search engine provided by MyFlightSearch.com. After providing my credit card number and purchasing my flight the confirmation email stated my flight had been booked and my E-ticket would arrive shortly after the credit card had been approved. The card was approved but my E-ticket did not arrive. I called the following morning(14hrs later) to find out why my E ticket had not arrived. They said the flight price had changed and I needed to pay another $56. I said I would think about it. I researched this company and found years of complaints about them and this run around technique. When I called back to cancel the ticket, the customer service person repeatedly asking me why I wanted to cancel. They said they hadn't charged my credit card yet. I asked to simply cancel it and informed them I had cancelled my credit card, then hung up. Shortly after that I got a notice of cancellation from ICheapFlight.com. I reported this to BBB.ORG
Desired outcome: This company should be reviewed by the Better Business Bureau and either change illegal practices or cease operations.

Numerous calls to customer service. 3/23 spoke to Rebecca and she said I would be refunded in 7 to 10 days., 4/12 I spoke to Austin and he stated I would have it returned within 21 days., 5/12 I spoke to Alex and he said he would check with the bank and either call me of refund the money within 24 hours (did not happen), 5/17 I spoke with a Dean and he hung up on me. I called back and spoke to A Dennis and he also hung up on me. May 17, 2021 I received an email stating that my refund of 188.80 has been approved and will be put back into my account. To this date I have not received any refund. Booking number FSON399666. Correspondence from you states the longest it can take it two billing cycles. Please advise. 6/25/21 Searched for United AL on the internet and this site came up as a United ticket reservation website...2-roundtrip tickets Den-KC 7/22-7/26 ..Charged my MC ...0043 $395.60..entry appears on my MC statement. My MC statement lists the entry as United Airlines HSC . My flight search booking number is FSON677696
6/25/21 emailed about not getting a confirmation # in order to prepay baggage and select seats. Their reply .."reservation is under process kindly wait for some time we will share your tickets"
7/3/21 sent another email inquiring about the confirmation..
7/4/21 their reply: "...we regret for the delay in sending your tickets, kindly be advised we shared this with our team and request to wait for some time and we will share t on your email"
7/5 or 7/6.. called the company number [protected] and spoke with a gentleman with an Indian accent who assured me the confirmation would be in my email the following morning, which it never did appear.
7/7/21 I called the company again and was promised the same...it would be in my next morning's email...did not happen.
7/16/21..I emailed again with same concern and no reply to date.
7/17/21..because we could not obtain the confirmation # after 3+ weeks, and we needed to be at our destination on 7/22/21, I went ahead and booked the same flight direct with United and immediately received the confirmation number for the flights.
7/18/21 I have decided to attempt to get my $395.60 back via myflightsearch.com, United or my credit card company and that's why I'm filing this complaint with you to see if you can help resolve this issue.

I pd, $672.48 US dollars. You returned 232.20 Canadian dollars. How did you arrive at this amount. The check, Delta document # [protected].
I Pd. My Flight search and was cancelled by my Flight Search four days later. Again, you cancelled me by way of a text message four days after taking my money. It was also three days before my departure. This really left me scrambling to get a flight. My wife was sent a refund of 232.20 CND, I paid well over $900.00 CND as the exchange rate was terrible. Please explain what you did to deserve almost $700.00 CND. Please contact me. I am very frustrated as I have tried so many times to resolve this issue. I am sure $700.00 dollars isn't much to a big company like yours, but it will really help at home here as I have been out of work since the pandemic. Please, Please help. Be Fair. Brian McLean

Oct. 2022: Booked two (2) round trip tickets via Canadian carriers YYT-YYC for Dec. 2022. E-tickets not issued. Cancelled booking & promised full, no-penalty refund by MyFlightSearch.com, to be issued within one to two billing cycles.
Almost three (3) months and several phone calls and emails later, still no refund has been issued back to my credit card. I am out +$2000 USD and desperately need MY money back, but am at a loss on how now to handle this?
