Opodo Hotel booking via Opodo

Booked a hotel via Opodo Prime for the 28th and 29th May in Tirana, Albania. Paid £66 and was informed this was 40% cheaper than hotel price, included breakfast, taxes, fees and there was a pool at the hotel.

I was unable to access the room at the hotel until I had paid 200 Euros. There was no pool, breakfast and the hotel room was dirty. The hotelier receptionist had no information of the booking / payment I had made through Opodo Prime.

This meant I had to pay twice for the room and the hotel was not the hotel advertised on Opodo website.

I have messaged you on email but you haven't replied.

Opodo Accomadation

I am jaison parasseri . I booked an accomadation in Barcelona 29 /5/23 -02/06/23 Ref [protected]. I have booked 2 rooms for my family as we are 5 members 2 Adults and 3 children .children are below 13 yrs. we got the rooms which is too far away and the accommodation is booked in a vast area and each room was entirely opposite sides almost 10 minutes apart. We spoke with the receptionist to get a room closer but we did not get a place nearer, We are abroad and we are not familiar with their language and they hardly understand English so I am afraid I won't accept their decision as they provided 2 separate rooms which are very far away and I would not accept their offer as it is against Children act 2004 so checked out from the Accomadation centre, and I need to find out and book another place for my holiday. So I would like to get refund as i did not get lawful service .

Opodo unauthorized credit card charge

hi , i just noticed i have been charge a membership (rpime opodo) which i never accept and never gave my details , name or card number. i have been charge last year and this year. i tried to see if i can cancel the membership but i dont even have log in info , i tried with my google account and nothing. This is definitelly not something any of my family would do so i need to know how is this possible.

Opodo opodo prime

I registered on the Opodo website to buy a plane ticket. I entered my details and payment card number. After a month without my consent, someone chose the most expensive subscription option and chose £70 from my bank account.

Why didn't I get a reminder that there would be a fee and why someone decided for me what subscription package would be right for me. Traveling alone,and someone chose family plus subscriptions.I was not satisfied with the service through this website. I wasn't going to use it. Someone without my knowledge wants to influence my decisions by deducting a fee from my account. I request a refund because I no longer use this website and do not want to have an account on this site.

Opodo Flight booking / refund as a result of cacellation

I will never use Opodo as my travel agent again! I bought this flight ticket on 12th March 2021 with booking reference [protected] for the journey flying out on 7th April 2021 and returning on 8th May 2021. My nightmare began when the return flight was cancelled by the airline. Opodo emailed me saying 'As your travel agent we have requested a cash refund on your behalf' so I arranged alternative flight hoping the refund process would be made in due course. There was no development over the next 6 months. I gave up counting how many times I called Opodo. Everytime I called them their responses have been exactly same like a robot without any empathy; 'refund request was made on your behalf and will pay you as soon as the airline make refund'.

By this time I was fed up with this robotic response so I called the airline directly but they said I have to speak to my agent because the ticket was paid by the Opodo. Actually I felt like they were playing pingpong. Out of my frustration I kept calling the agent and airline altenatingly. One year after the cancellation the airline finally issued a 'Credit voucher' to me saying that the agent would pay me when I send this voucher to them. I did all the hard work which should have been done by Opodo. However even 11 months after my submission of the airline's Credit voucher to Opodo on 20th June 2022 I have not got the refund. This is an absolute shame on Opodo and horrible nightmare of mine. Therefore I will never use this Opodo again and also advise everyone to avoid this company by all means.

Opodo Scam

Opodo... Do not book through this…

Opodo... Do not book through this operator.. Have booked for myself and my teenager daughter for may 2023.. Booked through opodo which was sold to me as a very nice mobile home only to find when I questioned the accomodation with tres estrellas this is not the case.. The accomodation actually resembles a tent with no amenities. Contacted opodo to point out to them that this accomadation was not the accomodation sold to me and that this would be of no use due to my daughters anxiety levels and not being able to share communal showers and if needing to use the toilet at night would be an absolute no no for her as she would not cope with the though of having to do this.. Made this very clear to opodo that this accomodation will not suffice due to her anxiety and their response was there is nothing we can do and we are not issuing a refund.

This is the first time in my life I am dreading going on holiday and it was supposed to be a special time as am taking my daughter to her first festival to see her favourite artist and being a sole parent I have saved hard for this. Not only have opodo charged quite substantially for this holiday but have crushed my daughters dream because she has been waiting for this for so long but I know she will not cope with the accomodation and will be a nightmare from hell for her.. Opodo you are disgusting for shattering a lttle girls dreams and I really hope people steer clear of booking any form of travel with you!...

So a little investigation into my package holiday... Paid £1300 through opodo for what seemed like a nice lodge... The accomodation allocated is a tent which I found out they had booked through booking.com so out of curiousity I thought I would see the price of the accomodation they had booked opposed to the accomodation I should have got... I was disgusted.. The accomodation they have allocated me was not even £200 for the duration of my stay, so to scam money they have sold the holiday accomodation as a lodge and allocated a tent thus pocketing quite a substantial amount of money. I can also see on the reviews on trip advisor that they have also done exactly the same to the family prior to my review, they booked a caravan and was given a tent.

So more phone calls to opodo and nothing.. I am starting a claims process under section 57 with my bank and will be taking opodo to the small claims court as this is just purely scamming people out of money. Most people will just let this lie but I will not, if opodo have done this to 2 families how many others have they done this to.

As expected no email for further information. I will absolutely bombard every social media platform, every day with my story, every review platform where opodos name lies until my case is resolved. Tuesday morning I will instruct my solicitor to start investigations into my case and going by other peoples reviews on trip advisor and trust pilot this looks to be a tactic used by opodo on many occasions to con people out money. My next port of call is the press as this scam needs to be exposed because not just has it taken peoples hard earned money but also all the stress that goes with it because of their greed. I will expose this company for what they are and make a statement that this is not good practice.

And thankyou opodo for making my little girl cry because you have absolutely shattered her holiday and the festival for her all for the sake of filling the ceo’s pocket. Greed is a poisonous thing and I really do hope every single person that reads this review never uses opodo and shares with their friends to put the word out there that you are just full of pure greed and will do anything to make the company profits even if it means to break a childs heart!.

Opodo Refund not provided

I Booked a flight to travel to Chennai India on 21st March, 2020 with return on 28th March, 2020, but the flight was cancelled, Opodo promised to provide my refund in 3 months, but its been more than 3 years, no refund in provided from Opodo.

Onward journey - 21st march 2020, LHR to BLR, flight no GF2 and GF282

Return journey - 28th march 2020, LHR to BLR, flight no GF53 and GF7

Total amount of refund is £447

Desired outcome: I need Ticket money refund £450 and the pain i gone through connecting their customer care for 3 years. I need to get total of £1000

Opodo I just do not understand

My name is Jacob Kudzayi Mutisi I have noticed a lot of similar complaints online (attached) . Is that how you operate a business with a way to trick people in to paying for a service they do not need. All I wanted was a ticket to Scotland and back I do not need any of the services.

Please can you refund me before I call for a class action. You cannot trick the general public into paying something they do not need.

I will be making a formal complaint to the trading standard. You are the biggest con that I have come across.

I hope this is loud and clear I expect my refund ASAP.

Opodo Opodo travel site

8th March my partner and I went on the Opodo website to research hotels and flights. We put the details in to see how much the holiday would cost ? My partner added he did not want Opodo to save these details. I received a message from my bank asking to authorise a payment. I pressed no and the screen froze up. next day I had a charge on my credit card for £346.28 ? pending I though this must be a mistake and called the bank. I was unable call Opodo and tried the chat going around back to the beginning each time as I didn't have any booking number or email confirmation or ref the money was paid to EDreams I tried chatting with them , The person chatting said the holiday is real and put on the screen the times of the flights but no booking number or confirmation she said she could see what we had been looking at and we had provided the wrong emails that's why they didn't send it. We had put both emails in with the details when looking and provided the email address again. I opened a dispute with my credit card next day but on Friday 7th April they called me and said I should of cancelled the holiday? I explained in the letter that I had no booking or ref so how can I cancel a holiday that doesn't excised. I still don't have any tickets email or booking .All I get is a robot on both website, My credit card company are charging interest.

Desired outcome: At the least Opodo to talk to us soon and we would like the money paid back please.

Opodo I only booked a ticket once

I had to book a ticket because of an emergency case, on the first of April i receive an email stating somehow they have charged for their prime fees when I have never subscribed for any prime or whatsoever because I do not even have an account directly with them.

I have written them emails and tried to contact them but there is no response back. I am jobless and every extra charges without my consent or my authorisation and an extra payment for no reason, hurts me financially.

Desired outcome: I am expecting to have my refund back because I have never consented to anything.

Opodo Want to obtain refund if possible and cancel the account.

Good morning.

I was due to fly from Bristol to Belfast on May 27th 2022 and the flight was cancelled.
I was notified by Opodo who stated I would receive an email about my refund.
I have never received the email and have been trying ever since to contact them to no avail.
Their processes just keep diverting me to other areas and I cannot speak to anyone.
Obviously the flight number does not exist anymore, but all data will be stored as per the aviation authority processes etc.
Please help!

Opodo Prime fees

When I booked my flight in early March I have been offered to use a 14-day free trial. I took advantage of this offer. Ten days before my free trial expired I started to look at how to cancel. I find it very difficult to achieve this. I could not contact Opodo because I can not find any number As a result, I contacted my bank and requested to block and not authorized any payments to the Opodo website without contacting me.

On 25.03.23, I checked my account and noticed that despite my effort I have been charged €74,99.

I will appreciate it if you can help me with this complaint and I can get a refund

Opodo I booked 2 flights and they have no record

On 23rd March I booked online return flights to Malaga as follows-

Thursday 10 August 8am flight number U26471

sunday 13 August 13.05 flight number U26472

I paid £257.91 by credit card & that amount has already appeared as a credit card transaction.

I never received an email confirmation & all attempts to confirm the booking have been refused because I dont have a booking reference. I have provided my email name & flight number but Opodo just say their is no record of my booking.

Opodo Flight

I booked a flight to sydney airport 23/03/2023-08/04/2023

I turned up at the airport yesterday but there was a problem with check in. Australian immigration refused my visa. They were very vague about this and numerous calls by the airline staff and emails from me came to nothing. They have still not given me a reason for refusing my travel. In the end I had to go home. I phoned today to request a refund but was told the flight was non-refundable. I consider this unjust. I don't feel at fault for being refused boarding. In addition you will probably resell the return leg of the flight. I again request a full refund. There must be a clause in your policy, or discretion through good customer service that allows this.

Opodo Plain ticket booking

I booked by OPODO a plain ticket.

Opodo CHARGED the ticket money.

Opodo DID NOT made the booking.

MY NAME was not on passenger list.

Opodo DON’T has good costumer service.

Now i want refund and opodo is VERY dificult to contact, and because they didn’t made the booking i don’t have the information i need to make a cancelation or ask refund because the booking was NOT made in first place .

OPODO TAKES the money.

OPODO DOESN’T MAKE the booking .

OPODO DONT ANSWER in costumer service because they only have computer robot costumer service .

OPODO IS NIGHTMARE .

Opodo Opodo prime

Opodo prime took without authorisation £59.99 2022 and the applied same in 2023 as an auto renewal to my credit card, please refund and withdraw application for funds !

It appears that the box to join prime when booking a flight is already ticked, if you don't notice or know, you get charged, i cancelled this years yet you still applied for it, of which i have blocked my credit card so that it isnt processed following my credit card issuer sending me a warning message.

this is an unfair way of operating and i would like you to delete all of my personal data.

Desired outcome: full refund and withdrawal of all attempts on my bank account. Deletion of all data associated with me.

Opodo Unauthorised Payment of £59.99 on 25th Feb 2023

Opodo charged an unauthorised payment to my Credit Card account of £59.99 on 25th Feb 2023.

Having experienced a year previously a nightmare booking thro Opodo for a flight from Leeds Bradford to Belfast(Feb 2022) ,I succeeded in getting a refund from Opodo except for a sum of £59.99 which is still owed to me. Booking Reference [protected] was dealt with by Opodo.

Now ,Opodo is charging me another £59.99 and I have had no prior advice/ warning of their intention and it is completely unauthorised

I request that these payments be re-imbursed to me and that no further payments be charged to me.

I await your urgent response.

Opodo taking money from my card

Hi when I booked return flight Friday 20/01/ 2023. for Krakow for the Date o5/04/2023 Reservation QC3QUF. You asked if i would like to pay for good offers for Hotels and Flight. I sent you a email to say NO. Yet you have taking. £59.99 from my account. I have been in touch with my card holder. I want OPODO to refund £59.99.

Opodo Opodo cancellations and refunds

I booked 2 return tickets for direct flights from Newcastle to Antalya for 26/3/23 on February 17th through opodo.

On February 20th I received a text message from the airline stating the flights had been changed from direct to a indirect flight via birmingham adding 3 hours to my travel time.

I contacted opodo to cancel and after a lengthy wait and call was advised I had to contact the airline to cancel.

The following day I contacted the airline and after a 50 minute call was agreed they would cancel the flights at no cost to myself but I would need to contact opodo for the refund.

I received the cancellation email from the airline stating full refund and the following day contacted opodo and again had to forward the email from the airline to them, then had a lengthy call where they initially said the airline hadnt agreed a refund.

Eventually after a lengthy call with them and pointing out where it clearly stated i was entitled to a full refund they said they would then get in touch with the airline requesting the refund but I would have to wait up to 30 days for the refund to be issued.

This is an absolute disgrace as the cash was paid directly to OPODO within 3 minutes of it being requested from me, I have had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get my flights cancelled when it was the airline who caused the change and i should not have to wait for a refund which was not caused by me!

Desired outcome: Immediate refund and appology for having to do all of the work that opodo as the agent should have done and also make sure that they cannot treat further customers in this way.
