pick n pay pies
The pies was off, it tasted sour and did not look like pepper steak flavour. I had to throw away all six pies. The best before date was 22 may 2022.

Employee working the till at Pick n Pay Rayton blaming customers for incompetence working the till. When the customer said the card machine is not working. The employee yelled and blamed the customer. Management did not try and resolve the issue and did not even get involved in the issue. This is not the first time this particular Pick n Pay has presented with unsatisfactory customer care and products that are past sell date.
Desired outcome: An official review to the Rayton location store about complaint and said situation to relieve the said employee from her duty
Wrong items delivered during Covid pandemic
We ordered some groceries on line from Pick n Pay ASAP.
Wrong items were delivered and I lodge a complaint.
I advised PnP ASAP that we have Covid and the groceries (which includes fresh mince meat) were all exposed.
Pick n Pay Ruimsig wants the groceries back.
I have no problem returning the groceries BUT it was exposed to Covid because we tested positive.
A representative of ASAP said we may not return the items due to the risk and arranged a refund but the assistant manager Edwin ssys he wants it back and will isolate the items.
Is this how Pick n Pay operates?
Wrong deliveries ... and they want Covid exposed items back ...
Edwin wants to expose the driver and his staff to Covid by collecting from us the Covid exposed groceries.
Will they put items back on the shelf?

I bought the nutriday danone 8s with an expiry date of jan 2022 on saturday the 11 of December 2021. To my dismay when i was packing school lunch for my niece today 13 December 2021, i found that the danone have already been spoilt.

Pick n Pay Liquor Shop at Kempton Square in Kempton Park packs their bottled liquor on the lower shelves. The store is very small, yet fragile bottles are packed on the isle where people are walking and can easily trip over a bottle. I have seen incidents where clients are forced to pay for a bottle that falls of the shelve. This happens very frequently there. Then, clients end up paying for the bottle. The client receives no receipt and money does not even enter the till. We need that Pick n Pay Liquor Shop the be investigated. Why are the bottles sitting on the floor and can easily fall.
Desired outcome: We nee that Manager whos taking money from people to be investigated. Remove fragile items from the isle and they need to treat people with respect.
Hollard life insurance / aramex digital domestic sleeve fraud
I shopped at PicknPay Southgate Mall on Saturday, 27 November 2021 and afterwards was led to believe that I had to provide personal/banking details to qualify for a shopping prize - I even had my picture taken! I got home I discovered a message on my phone saying that I had "purchased" Life cover from Hollard. Looking through the receipts, I found one with the life cover and one for Aramex Digital Domestic Sleeve - both of which I did not purchase. I want PicknPay to refund me the following, otherwise I will complain to whomever I have to:
1. Aramex Digital Sleeve - R99.99 - Cashier: Murenderi Nafolovhodwe - V Vitality HealthyFood Cashback voucher - I have no idea what this is, just that he used this till for me to make the payment.
2. Hollard Life - R166.35 - Cashier: Ethel Nkoana - Bill Payment Acc #[protected] - Tran ID: [protected] - what is more shocking is that this till slip states that I cannot get an in-store refund. Which means that if I want my money back, I have to do it through Hollard, yet they did not defraud me. I lodged a complaint with them anyway, and will return to PicknPay tomorrow to get answers from Daniel, the person who "sold" me blind.
As far as I'm concerned - this is fraud. I was misled into thinking that I "qualify" as the person told me for a "shopping" prize to double the amount I had already shopped for. I would like to know what happens next, and whether this complaint is going to help me get my money back.

I am complaining about BAD service that I have received at Pick n Pay The Grove Mall, I am writing this with such a disappointment.
I went to buy items at Pick n Pay The Grove and Kiosk till as I had Only 3 Items with me, and there was a coloured lady behind the tills along with the cashier called Matshidiso and they were busy chit chatting and when It was my turn to pay my Items the cashier by the name of Matshidiso just ignored me and assisted the colored lady who she was chatting with, and I asked if there was any other cashier who can assist me as I had waited for more than 10min in the que, and the cashier just ignored me as if I was not talking to her. When she was done helping the lady then that's when she assist me, I was very disappointed with the culture of the store and I reported the matter to Nicole who also works in the store and he said he will address the issue and contact today on the 30.11.2021 at 11am to tell me the outcome but yet I am still not contacted. Even today on the 01/12/2021 not yet contacted.

I have had the worse experience at pick n pay Phalaborwa Eden square mall, first day went to the liquor to pay my bills they did not great when I greeted them they told me customers must great the cashier as well then I was over that, today went to the super market to buy things I needed and the some thing happen worse part she doesn't ask me about my smart shopper, she decided to look at me after ringing my items at the till then started looking at the advertising paper then when she saw my bank card decide to push the card machine to my side then continued with her paper.
I have been customer for pick n pay for long time but after this experience I don't think I will shop there . the cashier name is Patience Makhubedu ([protected])please her that it doesn't matter how much we spend at the store at the end of the day that what provide for her and her family she must be nice, friendly to all customers .

I placed an order on the 25th November and the 1st driver took my order to a wrong address he called I told him I don't stay there, he took order back to store at around past 15:00 or past 16:00 second driver called at the same wrong address I told him I don't stay there he then asked for my address and I sent him via WhatsApp, he brought my parcels, however 1 parcel had a whole underneath and he did not say anything he just acted like everything is okay, I got in my room I noticed there was no slip in the bags like we normally get order slip however there was non, I double checked my orders and noticed 1 bottle of whisky is missing Ballantines, I called the driver he did not pick up I sent him a WhatsApp and he said I must call asap, I started again sending out emails and calling however was put on hold max 20 minutes with no help, since the 25th, I decided to go to the shop Newtown Junction on the 27th hoping I'd get better and fast help since this been taking longer than 48hrs, at the store we called online spoke to Roxan and she demanded I send the emails I sent and I told her to check with Leigh camp or Creswell, she made me hold while calling them and she got back to me and said they'll call me after 2 minutes I must not leave the store, once again I waited for like 15 minutes and decided to leave, they never called me back up until now, I've been complaining about this since the 25th up to now I haven't been helped all I get is being made a fool cause no is calling me back, ligh camp and Creswell only responded once that they looking into the matter until now, I was charged for 2 Ballentine whisky however I only received 1 order number is 1940763 and you always put a reciept in the bags however on the 25th I never Recieved any reciept why?
Store manager pick n pay Newtown Junction confirmed that when the 1st driver returned my order it was never recorded as a return and that asap did not quiry with the store about the missing item, so basically I'm made a fool, however I paid, I want my refund and now then we gonna meet in court I have all the time for that
I'm fed up and want nothing to do with pick n pay I just demand my refund now and then will meet in court for violating my consumer rights

Being over charged
I am using the new Pick 'n Pay app and my till slips are not handed to me at the till any longer, but being emailed to me instead. Big mistake on my side.
I was therefore overcharged at the Kensington Pick 'n Pay, with two items, the first being the Tinkies, currently on special for I think, 2 x R65.00, I was charged the original price of over R44 per box.
And also at the liquor store, The Russian Bear Energy Fusion is on special for R149.99 (special running 15 November - 27 December, once again I was charged the original price of R155.

I bought the puck n pay chef's brand of pies. The pies had a terrible taste. It was so bad as if someone added a litre of vinegar. My fear is that I bought 2 packs of these pies. So basically I have waisted my money. The sellby date is the 17th of December 2021. I'm very disappointed about this whole saga. So my question is, how does pick n pay plan to solve such issues.

Dirty Vile Unhealthy Store
THEE MOST DEADLY DISGUSTING VILE SICKENING PICK & PAY STORE EVER! STAY FAR AWAY!
This afternoon 16.00PM I went to P&P Blackheath, Blackheath Shopping Centre, Cresta Randburg to send away a parcel via ARAMAX. Go to the counter and was told to talk to the assistant manager. Was informed that the store is out of stock awaiting bags and waybills from ARAMAX since Monday, 11 Oct.2021 but he does not know when stock will arrive. Was then told he will escalate it but could not give me a date as to when stock will arrive. I then asked if he had taken the problem up since Monday with senior management? I was then told he never thought about it but will do it...
Then I went to the fast food section... O MY GAWD... nobody behind the counter to help and assist and a **** ROACH was running in between the food. How DISGUSTING. The end of the day food was packed and sealed in packaging that was oily filthy and the food swimming in fat. Sis how can a store expect people to eat that rubbish that is so overpriced asking R30.00 for two dried out pieces of Boerewors?!
I then tried to ask for the store manager and assistant manager to inform them of the ****roach in between the food but was informed they are in a meeting and not available as well the supervisor.
This store has been under construction and store revamp since 1 August 2021. The store is dirty, dusty filthy and just plain GROSS! The stock on the shelves is not even chronologically packed in such a way to make it easy to find stock items on the shelves. You as the consumer have to walk all over the store just to look for a item.
Walk in there and in front by the KIOSK & Financial Services Counter the stock items is so not event neatly packed or displayed. Looks like Farm Stall...
Ask the staff or manamanet for help then you are greeted with unhelpful demotivated over tired looking lackluster staff not really willing to help and assist talking to you as if you were asking thee most difficult question in the world shoulders hanging giving you the death stare. At the tellers it is even worst where you find fat overweight tired bored looking staff sitting on chairs that is so unfriendly some of them smelling of day old body odour that it will scare a Pitbull Terrier away by the mere unfriendly aggressive look...
In the one corner that is suppose to be clothing corner there's just empty shelves rubbish standing around...
How on GOD's green earth can Pick 'n Pay management allow a store to look, smell and function like that with store management that is so useless that they can't even manage a **** up in brewery?!
It is thee most disgusting most putrid poor excuse of Pick 'n Pay store that I have ever seen in my entire life.
Please people stay away from that store if you value your health in not consuming that vrot disgusting food and experiencing thee worst customer experience you will ever see...

Customer services and Attetude ofg Staff Employed by Pick a Pay

This is not the first time I'm complaining about certain Pick a Pay branches.
The overall attitude of the personnel at Pick a Pay Madelief and Pretoria North is that they do you a massive favor to be at service.
What is annoying when you are suppose to be served they 70% chat or talk tot other Staff members than to be polite. Some tend to be very intimidating especially some Managers that are very unhelpful and unfriendly.
Two weeks ago i personally bought something, and while helping me the teller constantly talked to someone else and never bothered to ask me for a bag. When i asked her frankly, if she thought she's doing me a favor by helping me. She replied politely Yes!
On Saturday we witnessed where a security guard employed at Pretoria North Branch scratched with a permanent marker on a clients shirt. And she made as if nothing happened and nobody wanted to except responsibility.
Those are the things that destroy client relations and as i know Mr Ackerman, he would never accept this kind of behavior.
The Management at both these Branches are not hands on with the staff and it seems that there is no control or proper discipline enforced.
Both these Branches are under the same Management, and Yvonne at your Offices has attended to several complaints from me over the years about the same Branches.
Me and my family avoid to shop at Pick a Pay because of it but when certain specials are running we would like to gain from it, with disappointment unfortunately.

Staff giving wrong info about a fruit and veg special so I landed up paying a lot more
At Pick n Pay family Kraaifontein I asked the fruit & veg staff which fruits made up the R100 special (4 fruits) and the display was not complete with the 4 fruits. They pointed out which ones would get me the discount and when I got home I saw that there was no discount at all for the fruit so instead of paying R100 I paid R134.96 which as I am a regular shopper and I have already had this issue before due to once again the display of which fruit you can take for the special being incomplete, that is why I asked the staff, As I had 2 small children with me I did not check my slip before leaving and only a day later I did and saw that in fact there was no discount. I did swipe my smart shopper and I still have the slip.
Desired outcome: I would like the difference paid back to me even if its in points on my smartshopper

The black on black customer service I have received from pick n pay hasn't always been a pleasant one but today was just the top tier of rude from Sello who works at Mall of the South(pick n pay clothing) the guy was beyond rude besides that he was shouting at us(me, my sister and mother) at the top of his voice unnecessarily he even went as further as saying we must call head office in a very not only disrespectful tone but condescending manner…I want to lay a formal complaint against him and I'd like to be contacted on [protected] for further details

I am one of the most people that love shopping at picknpay grocery shop in protea glen mall I have always got the best customer service from picknpay staff that is why me an my family and friends prefer picknpay protea glen mall.but today I am complaining about the security men where he just do not have a picknpay quality customer service am disappointed to have gotten the experience I did from a security name Buti Nkabinde this guy is very rude he treated me like am a drunk person I really hated his approach of speaking to me while I was at my favorite store.his Co workers even tried to tell him that how he spoke to me is not the way to speak to a cust5but he never cared to an extent I asked to speak to his senior.the manager came to hear the story and apologized but this men did not see himself wrong or even a need to apologize all he did was bring me a long face.pick n pay I love and trust the store but if security people are going to be acting like Buti Nkabinde picknpay Protea glen mall will loose a lot of customers.

Today I went to Pick n Pay Liquor at Savannah mall in Polokwane and I had the worst service by the teller named Johanna Mabotsa. Not only did she not greet which is so rude, I had to wait for her to plug her personal phone before she could help me. I mean no form of acknowledge from her so say I'll help you in a minute.
