Poor service
Went to my second car service on 3rd of September, at Proton 4S Setia Alam.
After the service, and after the payment when i was about to collect my car and leave, i noted my sun-shield (proton genuine product) which was supposed to be on the driver side window was taken off n was put on the seat next to driver seat. when i wanted to fix my sun-shield back i noted there was multiple scratches on the window,(exact place where the sun-shield was). I guess they roughly handled it and caused the scratches. When i encountered the person in charge, he said he will check back and he brought my car back inside. After a good 15 minutes, he came back with my car, saying that the scratches are 'ONLY' on my tint, not on the window. And he tried to blame that it is because tint will wear off in 2 years after applying it. I said its a brand new car, bought in Jan 2022 and i only put the tint on 29th Jan 2022. Then without any remorse, he said you can bring back your car to the place where you put the tint, and they will repair it. He did not own up to the mistakes or did not take any accountability for the scratches.
For your information, i did my tint at 'Tint Tint Klang' for RM 1000 for the whole car, and they do not have warranty for other scratches except on bubble tint.
Im am really dissapointed with the service at Proton 4S Setia Alam . Please look into it. How do we go about this? By right, they should compensate for the scratches they have caused.

Hos och bocor (exora 2019, qaa 2936 x)
Bulan 6, tukar hos och sebab bocor di supernau, bintulu. Seminggu sebelum tu, da service kereta. Jadi bila tukar hos baru, kena top up minyak hitam.
Rasanya tak sampai sebulan pun tukar hos, makin teruk pulak bocor.
Ni nak tanya proton, kualiti hos korang ni cap ayam ke apa?
Korang ingat kami ni kaya ke nak bayar service korang selalu.
Sekarang ni, lepas hantar pergi proton service, dok suggest tukar hos baru, sekali dengan service. Ni kalo bocor lagi, baik korang tutup jer kilang proton tu.
Kami pembeli kereta proton ni asalnya nak support kereta keluaran tempatan, tapi kami pula yang kena anaiya.
Complain dekat customer service, balik2 kami juga yang kena salah. Apa punya teruk la.

Saya nak tanya - bagaimana Proton HQ akan menyelesaikan kebocoran hos getah Oil Coolant Hose (OCH) bagi Proton Exora Bold Turbo. Saya pernah dengar bahawa ada yang memakai Custom OCH dari bengkel yang boleh dikatakan bereputasi untuk mengendalikannya. Custom OCH memakai paip hos besi bagi menggantikan hos getah yang asal. Saya kira perkara ini Proton harus bertanggong jawab bagi menyelesaikan masalah kebocoran yang berulang2.
Ada Proton membuat sebarang kemajuan ke atas perkara ini atau 'just turn a blind eye'

Perkhidmatan servis proton samarahan
Berkaitan dengan perkara di atas, saya LEE PEI CHING, Pemilik kenderaan Saga QPB5128 telah menghantar kenderaan ke bengkel proton samarahan pada 14/7/2022 untuk pertukaran sparepart kereta. Setakat 3/8/2022 masih belum terima apa2 berita dari pihak bengkel. Sekian, terima kasih

baru je service untuk 20,000km di Proton Service Center Setia Alam(Wheelcorp Auto Sdn. Bhd)
Lepas beberapa minggu service, kereta berasap semasa nak isi minyak, check bawah kereta ade minyak leaking. Call Proton Service Center Setia Alam(Wheelcorp Auto) nak buat inspection, acah-acah penuh la, banyak alasan bagi, dilly dally macam taknak bagi buat inspection situ. Last sekali bawak pergi inspection di service center Puncak Alam, rupanya technician sana bagitahu SC pasang oil filter tak betul, sebabtu leaking. Nasib tak jadi major issue. Wheelcorp service macam sampah, lepastu taknak bertanggungjawab

Masalah Teknikal Tak Selesai Dari Pembelian
Seperti complaint yg kami buat sebelum ini,seperti masalah tak selesai hingga sekarang..
Kerap kali kami htr ke pusat servis Rahman Brothers tetapi masalah tidak selesai hingga sekarang.kereta saya setiap kali hartar akan diperiksa paling cepat 1 minggu dan paling lambat 2 hingga 3 minggu.
Selama hampir setahun digunakan kereta baru kerap kali masuk bengkel Rahman Brother tetapi masalah tidak selesai hingga kini.Kami membayar pinjaman bank setiap bulan tetapi kereta banyak di hartar ke bengkel.
Perkara ini telah kerap di rujuk di bengkel Rahman Brother tetapi mereka tak dpt menyelesaikan masalah kereta tersebut.
Masalh berlaku kepada saya kerap kali nak ke tempat kerja saya perlu meminjam kereta atau menyewa kereta ..kos saya yang tanggung..saya membeli kereta untuk kegunaan ke tempat kerja bukan untuk kereta saya di buat bahan ujikaji bengkel dan proton.
Disini sya hendak pihak proton serta Rahman Brother menyelesaikan segera masalah kereta saya.Atau perlu ditukar kereta atau menggantikan spare part atau menggantikan sementara kereta lain utk saya berulang alik ke tempat kerja
Boleh refer di Rahman Brother berapa kali dlm setahun saya menghantar kereta dan tersadai di sana berminggu tetapi masalah tak selesai juga.
Saya harap pihak yang berkenaan menyelesaikan segera atau membayar ganti rugi selama kereta saya diselesaikan masalah.
Kecewa email dah dihantar tapi tak da respon dari proton dan rahman brother.

Bad Delivery Service
I was ordered a New Proton Persona 1.6 Premium (Snow White) on 16 December 2021 at the Proton Klang Branch . The sales advisor told me will get the car within 1-2 months. I had sold my old car and currently, I don't have a car to have my transportation. I also bought a new number plate from JPJ for this car. But the sales advisor said that HQ didn't have any updated news for them and also didn’t receive the chassis number . So he also can't let me know the updated status. As the car owner, I don't know how long I need to wait for it some more. Please look into this matter urgently. How Long should I wait for the car ?

Oil pump burst, no anti-heating warning system resulting in major engine repair followed by automatic transmission clutch repair
Date and time of incident: 20 May 2022.
Description: Our Proton Suprima (Apr 2014 purchased from Nizra Pro Edar Sdn Bhd, TTDI Kuala Lumpur) broke down near Simpang Empat at 12pm after a sudden oil pump burst, prompting an overheated engine. There were no warning lights in the system, but I stopped the car almost immediately and had it towed to the nearest local mechanic in Alor Gajah Malacca. Mechanic advised me to purchase the spare parts, so I took a bus back to KL and purchased parts that costed me RM2,200. I took a bus back to Malacca and on arrival, the mechanic gave me another list of parts, I searched high and low in Malacca for those parts unsuccessfully. Some told me to replace the engine! After two days I called my insurance provider to tow the car to Kulai, Johor as I had a friend there who could assist me. I found a mechanic in JC Auto Work in Indahpura, Kulaijaya and they helped to check through what happened. They used as many of the new parts I purchased, and recommended a list of new parts to purchase, which I paid a total of RM5,000. After fixing, the total bill included a crank shaft, cylinder head, oil cooler hose, L/C, front-wheel bearing came up to another RM5,480. I have the bill to share if required. I then drove the car back on 26 June 2022 after waiting for almost 4 weeks since the incident and on my return, found that the automatic transmission clutch was slipping. I took it to my regular mechanic in KL, who has now quoted me RM4800 to fix the defects. This is a total of RM15000 within the span of just one month. The car is only 8 years old, but it has done 254,000 KM. I have driven other brands of cars in the past that have lasted for much much longer, this is the first time, after investing in the Suprima because I wanted to be nationalistic to support Made in Malaysia, and also liked the design and the selling points of the car, I'm so disappointed and out of pocket for things I do not believe should have given way.
Desired outcome: I would like for Proton Holdings to offer me a courtesy replacement car, then take my car back for a detailed investigation into the fault of the oil pump and why it burst without any warning light.
Kereta belum guna, semasa deliver, test dan dapati rosak abs, pelanggan yang perlu tunggu berminggu2 dengan tiada apa2 info.
Tiada sebarang maklumat tentang perkembangan terbaru kereta vhy2024?
1. Sejak dari kereta masuk pusat servis proton atira johan,
tidak dapat apa2 call dari pusat servis untuk terangkan status terkini kereta ini.

sungguh mengecewakan servis selepas jualan dari pihak proton.
Kereta baru keluar tidak sempat pakai pun lagi,

Steering rack & steering bush issue
Good afternoon ms karen.
My name is Siti Nur Hidayah, im the owner of Proton Exora bearing registration number MDA 5151. Today I come to proton GT1 service center at Bt Berendam with issue of noise with my steering.
2. The issue had been quite a while since previously I had once claim warranty with proton for my steering rack, claimed and changed on 8/4/2019.
3. After that I came again on 25/4/2019 with same issue, upon checking they change my steering oil. On 23/12/2019 I came again with issue of noise when I break at bumping road. What is the solution I had no idea since it was not stated in the repair order.
4. On 31/3/2021 I came with issue of aircond not cold and noise at my steering. The aircond was declared got leakage but it wasnt covered under warranty therefore I decided to just topup the gas. Again the issue of noise was not stated in the report.
5. On 1/12/2021 I came again with the same issue, upon checking they decided that it was steering box issue, came with quotation for steering box, gear and some bushes stated at the repair order, but since the steering rack not in stock. After that there was no noise, so I just let it be.
6. End of May upon checking outside, foreman stated that the issue with my car is steering rack. I recalled once before I had changed it with proton GT1, so I called proton the very same day to confirm the status and today was set for checking. Today, 10/6/2022 I came to check the issue, the foreman call me stated that the issue is something with regards to steering rack and steering bush.
7. The issue now is this car never went to any other place for replacement except for cooling coil. The foreman went to say that my steering bush was not original since the original supposed to be black colour. Which is to say I had once changed the bush outside. The issue is I asked Mr Amir that if proton change steering rack, does it come with steering bush or not. If it does, why is my steering bush is blue.
8. Mr Amir went angry and scold me that I had changed my bush outside and come to put the blame at proton. This is because the white marking at the bolt and nuts still intact with no possibility that it was once before opened after the changed of steering rack dated 8/4/2019. Again he went angry stated that it was never SOP implemented that proton need to put marking at nuts. The issue is even it was never implemented, but it does make sense that the parts was never been opened or changed after the steering rack replacement. If it does, the marking should not be intact.
9. So I ask the lady at the customer service to check the foreman notes on 1/12/2021 it was also stated in that the bush is blue but no one ever informed me this. The reason I asked is I want to know since when the bush is blue because I had never changed anything outside proton gt1. Also it raised question does the foreman upon complain and checking on 23/12/2019, 31/3/2020 realized that the bush wasnt original but yet did not inform the owner as on 1/12/2021.
10. Only today, the foreman show and ask me about the bush wasnt original and if I had ever change it outside. So as a customer, I had never done anything with this car outside gt1 except for aircond, it was said to me that the steering bush at my car that once before the steering rack was changed at the same place was not original, it raised my concern about the originality of parts used. By looking at the timeline, non of the foreman ever told me that the steering bush was not original, except today. Kudos to that.
Therefore, I need clarification on several issues which are;
a) upon changing of the steering rack, proton did not show me the old part and new part, so it raised question on the originality of the parts and did the foreman changed the parts as the problem issued,
b) did the steering rack came with the steering bush, because according ti Mr Amir it was not, only steering rack without bush but according to the lady at the customer service name Zaty and one more over the phone I heard her name was Jaja, they was not sure;
c) if it does, since the replacement on april 2019, did the item still under warranty or not,
d) the conduct of your so-called Senior Customer Service Mr Amirnordin Ismail yelling and scolding customer as if the customer is wrong when asking about the parts replaced by proton itself upon claiming warranty. I used to deal him and there were never a problem unless and until I raised the issue of did the part in issue was the part changed by the foreman.
I need clarification of this issue because I asked to speak to the superior there but I was told that the superior was at Jasin branch. As a customer I put trust at gt1 to deal with my car, suddenly this kind of issue arose and gt1 trying to refuse liability. As I spoke to the customer service, I would accept that if the part defect as if it wear n tear part, but the concern is on the parts that they claimed I changed outside proton, that raised a question of no one had access to my car except me and gt1, how could it be the parts were suddenly not original.
Kindly assists me with regards to this issue. It would be great if you can set me a date for us to discuss this issue because it was nonsense that the part could be off market while I only service at gt1. Your cooperation is highly appreciated. Im waiting for your reply and also from gt1 customer service. Thank you.

Desired outcome: New steering rack set with bush as it raised concern on the originality of the steering rack claimed on 8/4/2019.
I tried calling for service appointment at proton 3s pantai bharu, jalan kapar, klang via land line and h/p line no one answers!!
This is the 2nd time I'm changing my service center. The 1st was at Glennmarie Shah Alam. They could not give a proper schedule for 1st. Servicing as it was reached the 1st. Warranty for servicing. I changed to Protin 3s Pantai Bharu, Jln Kapar. I have been calling since last week and no one answer. I came personally today [protected] and was told that the next available date is after [protected]. I can't understand this procedure! I need to travel outstation next week and have lapsed the mileage. How can you solve this matter! Not enough of service centres. If I do it outside, then it is considered not in warranty.

Today 30/05/22, I went for my 1st 1000km service for my wife new proton saga, at PROTON EIN PENANG 1A JLN MAKLOOM, 10150 PENANG. My appointment was at 3pm but I was there earlier at 2.30pm. I was than ask to refer to Mr Tajudin. He than took my key and said later you need to pay RM175 for the full synthetic oil and others. As this was the 1st 1000km service I thought it was free but he said no. I agreed to pay and he ask me to sit down as this service is going to take abt 2 hours. After 2 hours I ask the payment counter when I can take my car as I can see my car is all ready outside but still no one called me eventhough Mr Tajudin already took my number earlier. I was shocked to hear that mr Tajudin was not there already went home and his work was passed to other people who only took cares of his own clients. I told them that I want my car and they ask me if the car key is with me or not. They already took my car key during service and ask me now weather I took my car key. Just see how they all work. Another big shocked was when I saw the bill it was only RM108. They said that the full synthetic oil finished and they put semi synthetic oil. I got mad because they never inform me anything I was there only and they all got my hand fon number too. I called the manager in charge there and shouted to him for all their stupid responsibility and he just say sorry that's all. I was frustrated with Eon Proton service and I'm not going to go there any more or recommend that place to anyone. Useless management and service centre.

I have been conducting Car Service in Han 333 Otomobil Sdn Bhd ‘SC’ for 2 years and recently only realized my engine bay there some missing parts.
Just wanna know whether this whole part will under 3 years warranty claim?
As currently I paid the money in advance in according to SC request for spare parts order.
Can SC help me check the warranty claim first before asking our payments.
Service here for 2 years continuously and they couldn't find out why this parts missing, won't they being responsible?

First they take 2 week to get police report.
After that, claim insurance for surface of my X70 only.
2 month done surface, tell me now go to check alignment of the car and do second claim of the car.
Why ur cnt do it on 1 time?
Ur is specialist on the car, very unprofessional is claim 1 parts and wait for it, and claim again.
Proton Parts Centre Sdn Bhd never pick up the phone or reply email of the delivery status.
1 parts need wait 3 week to delivery.
How Ppl is confidence toward ur after sales and ur facebook standard answer reply is we apologies and foward to department and will contact u shortly.

Kerosakan Kereta Proton X70
Pihak kami telah menghantar kenderaan pada 30 Mac 2022, enjin tidak boleh dihidupkan dan kami telah menghantar kenderaan tersebut di bengkel milik syarikat Lesydear Automobile yang beralamat di Bukit Puchong. Pihak teknikal syarikat Lesydear mendapati bahawa gear box telah rosak. Lebih mengecewakan adalah kelulusan bagi penukaran gear box baru baru diluluskan baru-baru ini.
Kenderaan tersebut telah berada di bengkel selama sebulan lebih. Pembayaran bulanan kenderaan tersebut masih dilakukan seperti biasa akan tetapi pihak kami mengalami kerugian dengan masih membayar seperti biasa tetapi tidak dapat menggunakan kenderaan tersebut.
Aktiviti perniagaan juga amat sulit dilakukan ekoran tidak mencukupi kenderaan dan sehingga kini kenderaan tersebut masih belum diperbaiki dan gear box masih belum ditukar. kami berharap agar pihak tuan memahami kesulitan yang kami hadapi ini dan kami amat berharap agar pihak tuan dapat membantu kami dalam mempercepatkan proses baik pulih kenderaan kami tersebut.

X70 Water Pump leaking - warranty period 3 yrs
Purchase Date: 7/5/2019
Last year end my car Air Cons compressor broke down and was replaced under warranty period. That time the technician did claimed that he found out my water pump was not in good condition and I was not aware of it. So today I sent my car again to Tian Siang to check the disk brake and technician reminded be on the water pump and this time is leaking. But unfortunately the warranty period of 3 years was over just for 10 days and they told me not covered anymore. This has actually disappointed me on Proton Service centre service level. They could actually had changed it earlier for me. And now start telling me not under warranty period and expect me to repair at my own cost.
Desired outcome: Hope Proton company will replace the water pump free of charge to me due to technician negligence..
Newly bought car breakdown SYR6319
We would like to lodge a complaint regarding the car we purchased recently. We made a full payment by cash on 28th February 2022 as requested by the sales person by mentioned to us that the car stock was ready. We did the full payment. But, later on, that sales person informed that car was given to someone else. Almost 2 months , our money was hold by that particular company, before handed us the car. On the 1st day of driving car from Klang to Ipoh, we noticed something was wrong with the car as car shaken on the highway and at the end, stopped at Ipoh. We couldn't start for some time , about an hour. After that , we managed to start it. We encountered the same scenario on the next day also. We seek for assistance at nearby service centre. They checked and hand it back to us and mentioned something related to sensor.
We refer back and left the car at service centre on 4th May 2022( just opened after Raya) for their further checking. It seemed need to change 1 spare part. Our car is still there and reason given by the service centre is that they haven't receive the spare part yet.
We are really mad with all this troublesome. We bought it for cash, but we haven't fully use it. Did we bought it to place it at the show case? How the QC has been done before release the car to the customer?
We need the car urgently and in a good order. If couldn't do anything, just change to another new car and hand it us since we haven't use the car also. A big disappointment for us.

X50 Rough Gearbox Sound
When driving, there is a bell ringing sound at gearbox area 'Krik-krik-krik'.
Sometime will heard a hard engage clutch sound , a loud bang from gearbox side.
Sometime when going uphill slanding area at 'D', the car will roll back itself before full stop as feels like clutch slip.
Mileage was only 23000+KM.
Tested the test drive unit which does not have this sound.
Suspecting clutch bearing faulty or clutch plate spring broken.
Proveide a Engineer to test drive together. As this bell sound not frequently happen all the time.
Desired outcome: Check and rectify gearbox noise.

You can look for the owner Michael Liew. He had 3 wife. Sharen is the 2nd wife(no kids) of 3 wife by Michael Liew managed Toyota Old Klang Road and Sri Petaling. This Wheelcorp is making profit from customers loss. They owned 2nd hand car, Persada auto, Mazda (managed by 3rd wife) , then BMW Wheelcorp Premium (1st wife son, Jayden Liew is the Dealer Principal), and also Proton dealership (managed by 3rd wife's son) at Setia Alam. Pure Chinese business who will take advantage. Becareful when you service your car too. They can't fix it right.
