Dear Sir/Madam
I have just returned from my holiday and am not happy with the service and handling of my pushchair. This is the 2nd time I have flown with you and you have either broken or sent my pushchair on the next flight. The service to the Maldives was terrible. I had to ask 3 times for water for my baby! If someone could get it touch with me ASAP that would be much appreciated to discuss this further.

On Saturday July 8th my daughter and I arrived at the airport for our flight from Imam Khomeini International airport to Hamad International airport (Flight number:Qatar Airways QR 491 and Qatar Airways QR 439 E-ticket: 157-[protected] for Shahrzad Shakourian and 157-[protected] for Helia Seyfi) in order to make our flight back home to Los Angeles International airport. Despite arriving two and a half hours prior to our flight, the awful and atrocious conditions such as all the exits being closed off to the public causing us to be dropped off almost a mile away from the airport, broken elevators and escalators, having nothing at the airport to carry our 6 pieces of luggage on, wasted a large amount of our time. Still my daughter and I managed to arrive at the counter in order to check in our luggage. We were told the counters will close one hour prior to take off. Take off was at 5:25 AM, we arrived at the counter at 4:15 AM and were denied access to check in. We were told we missed it by one minute, even though we had still arrived ten minuets before the counter had closed. We explained our situation to the man working at the counter and he refused to do anything, finally after ten minuets had gone by and it was 4:25 AM he finally agreed to make a call to the Qatar Airways main desk but of course by that time it was too late considering it was then exactly one hour before take off. I am shocked by the irresponsibility Qatar airways has shown causing us to miss our flight and fall behind on important meetings and plans back home and most importantly having to pay over 1, 300 usd in fees for new tickets to Hamad Airport and our connecting flight to LAX. I am requesting a full refund because despite being placed in a hostile situation with careless staff I was also faced with extreme anxiety and stress causing me to pass out which is extremely dangerous for my heart condition. Overall I have lost a large amount of money, missed an important appointment and meeting and was also placed in a critical health condition due to the appalling situation placed my daughter and I in. I am extremely disappointed .

I am writing to you with a genuine and sincere request to look into my case and help me out.
I was browsing your website and there’s an offer like Q+ (Free transit visa and 1 night hotel stay in Doha) applicable only if you’re transiting Doha regardless from which country is your departure. Since I'm traveling to UK and I have friends in Doha so this offer make me decide to complete my booking (LJIXN9).
After booking my ticket and going through to submit my application for transit visa but the result is invalid. So I called your customer service hotline but only I was advised that I have selected British Airways as the operated airline from London-Doha and they can’t do anything about my concern at the moment. After how many calls and feedbacks to change it into Qatar Airways flight without a fee but nothing has been done from your end, I spoke to another agent opted to change my flight with fees and the fare difference but cannot assure I’ll get the hotel stay for free. Otherwise, I have to refund the entire booking and/or book another flight. The refund and change fee plus fare difference is terrible, It cannot be refunded in full and I will pay much more.
So I came across asking my friends in Doha of how can I get a tourist visa because if I don't have a visa I’m sure you won’t allow me to board the flight or I’ll be overstaying and get penalised if I reach Doha without a visa. I did a lot of research on how and was able to find a hotel to process my visa. Unfortunately, I have paid 200qr for visa processing and 425qr for 1 night hotel stay at my own expense. Not even worth it to pay but your company left me with no choice.
I still continue this booking and work it myself because this is what I think is the best for me and I don't want to messed up again calling your customer service hotline that puts me on hold for more than 20 to 30 mins and some released my calls. June 12, From Singapore I flew all the way to London via Doha. Prior to my flight on July 4 from London to Doha, 5 or 6 days ago I received an email that my flight is being cancelled. Of course, The email is about asking me to reschedule my flight but options were only an earlier flight so I need to change my plans on that day. I responded to the email to call my roaming number so I could clarify and make the right arrangement but sadly no calls were made and replied my email that I have to call the your customer service hotline for reservation. Not that I don't like your airline but changing my flight is completely insane, like supposedly I should be able to get the Q+ offer because all my flights booked under your airline. I’m frustrated because all the time I’ve been sending so much email or calling you is totally worthless. The time I consumed, the efforts I’ve done and the inconvenience caused wasn’t resolved, no compensation and has kept in silence. Come to think of it, I am having a vacation and you are causing so much problem of my time. So by far after traveling around the world this is my first flight which has been cancelled, never compensate me and the quality of customer service provided is very poor. So now I would humbly request for a refund of my expenses.

Hello, My name is Eldrige Colaco ([protected]@gmail.com).I have been flying Qatar Airways at least about 7-8 years now. I have never experienced any negativeness especially on customer service until the 5th of July 2017 here at the Qatar Airways office in Goa - India.
I had booked my flight from Dubai to Goa return flight on Qatar Airways (REF BOOKING : LW3807). Unfortunately for whatever reason i was not able to fly Qatar Airways from the UAE. A member at the Qatar Airways office assisted me with an optional flight and advised me as soon as i reach Goa to request for an optional flight back to UAE. He was very helpful.
On 5th July 2017 when i visited Qatar Airways office in Goa - India to sort out my flight back to the UAE, I was shocked that there was no one to assist accept an office lady who told us that its lunch time and we would have to wait for 20 mins. The office was empty (Pictures attached) After waiting for about 30 mins a lady by the name of Jesline OR Jeneline (NOT SURE IF I GOT THE NAME RIGHT) attended to us. There was no apology for keeping us waiting. After inquiring about my flight back to UAE she says that i have to come 24 hours before my flight to get my ticket sorted which does not make sense, she as well mentioned that these orders were passed on by the head office in Qatar. Never the less. The woman was very rude in approach and behaviour. Seemed like we were doing her a favour. When i asked for the optional flight details she tells me to take down notes without offering a paper or a pen that i had to ask for. I would expect her to possibly ask if i would like the details i require sent to me through email which would be much appropriate, however she says that she could not do so and i had to write it down.
I would like to understand if this is customer service to be received ...?

kindly first of all I would like to thank you for what you did to solve the customers problems specially the Egyptians and congratulation for named "Airline of the Year, " by the international air transport ratings group, Skytrax ... anyway I'm always use Qatar airways for my trips me and my family however I have reservation 3/9/2017 flight number 1303 ( DOH - MCT ) and unfortunately my family has reservation 2/9/2017 that's mean before mine with one day on flight number WY0664 (DOH-MCT) so I've tried many times to change my flight to join my family with there flight but no one helped me at the main branch and by call center so appreciate your support to help me to change my flight for the same one of my family.

Hope my message will find you well.
First of all i am writing this message to be served for improvement more than a complaint.Yesterday i was coming back from Nepal to Beirut through Qatar and there was no delay in my flight, but i was surprised when i reached the gate in Doha that i was shifted to a next flight which will arrive 6 hours later than my scheduled one, i tried to contact the customer service explaining that i have already commitments and appointments in the second morning which I can't miss but all what i got was: we understand and we are sorry but we can't do otherwise.As a loyal flyer to Qatar airways i know that you have one of the best airlines services but it was disappointing not to make any effort to put me on the scheduled flight even if i will have to collect my luggages later and how comes my seat was occupied by another passenger.. I think no one should decide on behalf of the passenger wether he would like to be delayed or not. I reached my destination at 6:35 am and had to wait my luggages till 7:15 am and it was impossible to me to join my meetings at 8am specially i was deprived of sleeping for the last 28 hours, it is a good gesture to offer a lounge access but sometimes the passengers values are more to respect his schedule. For this specific trip i had the chance to book a cheaper flight but I couldn't compromise the service of Qatar airways.

We have been traveling on Qatar Airways for the first time, counting on the very good service and service that Qatar Airways enjoys.
Unfortunately our return trip from Zanzibar to Doha with Qatar Airways was not planned and without stress.
Being already in Doha on 13.06.2017 we learned that there was a change in the return ticket. Initially the departure from ZNZ was to be 28.06.2017 without stopping at Kilimanjaro and then on 29.06.2017 we were supposed to be in Poland where we had our duties.
Unfortunately, your change and cancellation of the flight on June 28, 2017 caused us to be forced to stay in Zanzibar for an extra day which put us at extra cost.
In addition, travel time has increased from the original ticket significantly. Moreover, in Poland we also had our responsibilities and plans on 29-30.06.2017.
In connection with the above, I apply for compensation for the sudden change of travel and extended travel time for my whole family.
In addition, I would like to reimburse you for additional costs incurred in extending your stay in the hotel and meals in the amount of USD 297.

We took Qatar airways flight from Bangkok to Muscat. During connection at Doha it was looking that the flight from Bangkok arrived but late. We rushed to boarding counter to catch the flight. At gate I confirmed with the employee standing whether my baggage is loaded he mentioned we will get it done, it will happen automatically. I wanted to go to toilet but the employee didn't allow because the flight getting late. It was so inconvenient for me to sit in next flight without even freshen up. Is this the courtesy and care of Qatar airways. In this way it fly together to places? When I landed in Muscat the baggage didn't arrive. When I checked it is mentioned it is coming in next flight at 5.
It looks there is no care which Qatar air do for it's customers. After a long flight of almost 10 hours I am waiting for my baggage.

My family and I were travelling to London for the first time and were excited about our holiday plans. So much so, that we planned our trip way well in advance. We were certain of our travel dates hence we booked all our hotel rooms as the non refundable option. We booked through your reputed airlines at a fantastic deal through Tajawal.
Unfortunately, due to diplomatic circumstances, Flights flying via Dubai was suspended, leaving us with only two options – getting a refund from Qatar Airways and re – booking another flight or get a re-route from your end 72 hours prior. We choose to get a refund – only because we were uncertain and apprehensive about flight timings and lay over from the re-routing as we have two small kids aged 3 and 7.
Tajawal and your team were very prompt with our refund which we are grateful to. We had to find other airlines that could offer a similar price range – sadly not the same dates that we had initially planned (11th – 21st July). We could only get a seat on the 10th – 22nd, which meant booking an extra 2 days and also our budget went much higher than expected. Also, our entire schedule for London and Scotland got messed up. We have had to pay extra to move hotel dates around, except for MARRIOTT REGENTS PARK – we have been trying to move our booking dated from 20th to 22nd instead of 19th to 21st. Since it was all non refundable, they are not willing to make any changes whatsoever.
My appeal and request to you is to help us out with the additional expenses we have had to incur for no fault of ours.
I am not asking you to take care of all our hotel bookings in London and Scotland; however I do strongly feel a reimbursement for 2 nights would only be fair. Amount being 400 USD for 2 nights.
I would like to re-open this case and appeal for a claim.

cancellation of return flight

On my late check-in at Zanzibar airport I was denied travel (5 minutes late, fair enough anyway) and what the manager failed to point out (he requested for me to book on a different flight with another airline) was that my return ticket London -Zanzibar would've also been cancelled, which cost me 2 different flight to be booked again (instead or rebooking one leg I would've booked return as well, however I was sure I was going to be able to get my return flight from London and which has not been the case). Extremely unprofessional from the staff and from so called '5 star' airline. I kindly request refund/ voucher (I'm a frequent flyer and possess gold membership) for next flight for the amount of the original return ticket London to Zanzibar that was not allowed to board and for the rebooking fees charged by Qatar (I had to pay for the same seat twice). It is a rip off and frankly quiet insulting.

I booked our flights with Qatar airways from (Dallas-USA) to (Jeddah, Saudi Arabia) round trip with separate booking references. mine: [removed]: QR# L8B5G9 and my wife: [removed] QR# L7NKTH. however, we came from Dallas to Jeddah in the same flight, as you can see in our bookings details, and I booked deferent flights for Jeddah to Dallas, mine was on July 12th and my wife on August 29th.
Due to un expected situation, QatarAirways stopped all the flights from Jeddah as you know sir, I contacted Qatar Airways to see what they can do, and they were very kind when they said; we will take care of you and we can rebooked on other airlines because the refund option was not working with me because, all the prices goes up. They rebooked for me on July 4th with Lufthansa Airlines. when we were discussed my wife booking I explained to the representative that, we have to change my wife booking date to any of these dates August 4th and no later than August 11th. because of some family arrangements she has to be in USA no more than 5 weeks, he founds many flights but, we were preferred an Arabic flights because, she will be alone, and she is not speaking english very well. than the representative suggest to me if we wait for the next 12 hours, we could find an arabic airlines availability, he was so kind and he was trying to helps us but, when I called after 12 hours they said; the policy changed and you have to wait till 72 hours before the flight, I tried to explain the our situation even to the supervisors but, they did not help us. Now if we wait till 72 hours before my wife flight that will be August 26th so, from my new flight July 4 till August 26th almost 8 weeks, that will be a big problem for us. If I knew there is policy change I could booked on Lufthansa as the guy offer me, on the same time of my flight change.
Now, we are not looking for specific airlines, but we need to change her one way flight to any of these dates ( between August 4 and August 14).

luggage transfer to new route
Long srory short my extra luggage i purchase back in April with my original fight Doha to Dubai was not moved to my new rout Doha Bucharest i was told the money is not refundable then with another afent it was refundable another agent said qatar airways will tranfer your luggage to the new rout afer he get an approval from a manager. I was told to call back with reference number 63VI6L to see if head office replied i called few times then i was told to call the next day. I called the next day the new agent found my case funny and was laughing while she was speaking all managers are on holidays and there will not be any reply until the 29th of june. I informed her that we r flying on the 28th early morning still she said she xant do anything. I requsted to speak to a supervisor and when he came on the phone in a very rude way he said let me save you time the change of the rout will not include my extra luggage and i have to wait until the managers are back from holidays to get it approve. Your agent/customer service seems like they are not familiar with the company policies and every time i speak to a new agent i get different reply and answer. All what i want is to move the extra luggage that i paid for to my new rout Doha -Bucharest instead of Doha - Dubai.

My new husband and i departed birmingham airport for bali on the 15th June to celebrate our honeymoon. I can honestly say Qatar Airways ruined the first 24 hoursof our trip. We travel frequently, quite often long haul. This is our first experience of Qatar and I hope our last.
When greeted at Birmingham Airport the check in process was smooth and we received complimentary upgrades to additional leg room because we are celebrating our honeymoon. This is the only good thing to happen!
- On board the 1st flight the service was terrible! It yook over 1 hr to get a cup of water. I was advised i could not collect my own water and i could not have the bottle they were pouring from. This is ridiculous! Surely you cannot deny water to passengers.
- On board the second flight the same occured with the ridiculous wait for water.
This time we were seated next to a lady travelling with a young child. When the crew came to fix on the bassinet for the child it was noticed that neither me nor my husand could access our tv screens. We called the attendant who helped the passenger move her child so we could take out the screens however once they were out we could not put them back in without disturbing the sleeping baby which i was not willing to keep doing. As a result we were stuck (literally) in our seats unable to get up for 9 hrs!
The only solution the crew could offer was to move our seats but they could not sit us together! We are anxious flyers on our honeymoon... we are not sitting sperately! That is a ridiculous solution!
- The food served in the plane was terrible to say the least. I do not expect a 5 star meal however there was so much salt added. Surely its unethical to serve such high salt food and then deney water!
- On both flights my husband advised the crew that we were celebrating our honeymoon and ask if he could purchase some champagne or something of the liking. He was told no... however i am quite sure this is served in business class so they clearly have it... we were not asking for it free we were happy to purchase it but no one cared!
When arriving at our final destination and waiting an hour for bags it turnrd out that 1 bag didn't make it onto the plane beacuse there was not time... however there was time for 1 bag?!?!? This is a ridiculous excuse and the staff would not give us a deffinate time frame on when it would arrive. That is unacceptable.
Both suitcases were returned to us with a broken wheel on each one, filthy and with 1 luggage strap missing and no apologies.
This trip was booked via Kuoni Travel - a luxuary tour operator! A copy of this email is going to them to inform thrm on the terrible service offered. I hope they will reconsider future buisness with your airline.
I can honestly say my husband and i are dreading our retrun trip!
Please consider this to be a formal complaint and please note that we are expecting appropriate compensation for our terrible experience. A honeymoon is a once in a lifetime experience that was ruined!
I look forward to your prompt reply and look forward to hearing how you intened to compensate us fot all of thr above and improve our retun trip!

This trip was booked via Kuoni Travel - a luxuary tour operator! A copy of this email is going to them to inform thrm on the terrible service offered. I hope they will reconsider future buisness with your airline.
I can honestly say my husband and i are dreading our retrun trip!

missing baggage
Hi this is regarding booking Reservation number = 66N2PZ.
We did not receive one of the baggage at hyderabad international airport and we recorded compliant at hyderabad international airport.
now its almost more than two weeks we did not hear from either Qatar airways or airport authorities about the missing bag. we tried calling at the number given but no one answers the call.
I sent an email to dwf baggage center and i received email stating baggage was boarded from dallas airport and we will try to find at Doha and hyderabad airport but after that we did not hear from them.
I tried calling this Qatar airways number [protected] but no one is answering the call. I am very much unhappy with the Qatar airways customer service.
If i do not hear back i will cancel my travel due next month and you need to refund the full money.

Hello Qatar airways, I am Elisa Garcia from Abu dhabi UAE, i book a ticket on your airline last June 4 2017, sunday through Cleartrip online. since all my friends have been suggesting that Qatar Airline was one of the amazing airline worldwide and it was my first time to go home in my country which is the Philippines i choose your airline, but the next day after i booked news on social media spread about the country where i am currently situated in cutting all the diplomatic ties in Qatar i am worried about the ticket that i booked and of course the money that i payed. after few days i decided to cancel my ticket and clear trip said that it will take 96 hrs for the refund 9 days had passed i call them back to follow up but they said they are waiting the refund from the Qatar airways. i am here to ask how long will it take for the refund? What is my assurance that my money will be given back? i booked my ticket as early as possible to save money and this problem occur. how will i book another ticket if this problem is not yet solved. pls help me with this. i am really hoping for your immediate response.
