QVC and Synchrony's Communication Problem Caused Me Stress and Overcharges
right, but apparently not. I had purchased items from QVC for a total of $419.00 and some change. The plan was to make installment payments of $52.73, but I couldn't make the first couple of months. So, I made minimum payments of $25.00 twice. The following month, I received a bill with a balance of $446.02. I was confused and thought it must have been interest or something. I paid the amount, but the following month, I received another bill for $87.10. At this point, I was thinking, "What the heck?" But I paid it anyway.
The next month, I received a bill for $52.73, which was the original installment amount. I called QVC, and they told me that I didn't owe anything and that everything I had ordered prior to that was paid in full. I even had a confirmation number to prove it. They explained that Synchrony had bought out their accounts, and there must have been a communication problem. They closed my account, but to my surprise, I received another bill this month for $52.73, plus they tacked on a $25.00 late fee.
I am not paying another penny. I want my money that is owed to me, and I want them to quit messing with my credit. None of Synchrony's explanations made any sense. It's frustrating that a bank can't do simple math. I hope they can fix this issue soon because it's causing me a lot of stress.
Disappointed with QVC's Customer Service: Outdated Forms and Lack of Notification
I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my recent experience with QVC. I ordered something online and was super excited to receive it, but when I checked the tracking, it kept saying "order generated" and I never actually got the package. After waiting for five whole days, I finally decided to reach out to QVC to see what was going on.
To my surprise, the customer service agent told me that I had to fill out a form in order to get my package. But get this - I couldn't even fill out the form online! I mean, come on, it's 2021, who still uses paper forms? I asked the agent if I should just re-order the item so that it wouldn't go out of stock, but they told me not to worry about it.
Well, turns out that was a big mistake. I later found out that I could have actually filled out the form online, and by the time the agent finally got around to re-ordering my item, it was already out of stock. I was pretty upset about the whole thing, and when I complained to QVC, all they could say was "sorry."
I mean, seriously? I've been a loyal customer for 10 years, and this is the kind of treatment I get? I suggested that they at least notify me when the product was back in stock, but they told me that the computer doesn't do that. Um, how about a person?
Honestly, QVC made so many mistakes that I just can't bring myself to shop with them anymore. When a company doesn't care about its customers, the customers will eventually stop caring about them too. So, I've removed QVC from my shopping list and I won't be going back anytime soon.
Terrible Customer Service Experience with QVC - Do Not Recommend
I gotta say, I had a pretty bad experience with QVC. I was really excited to order a hair grow laser helmet (Order Number: ***757) from them, but when I tried to place my order, my card got declined for security reasons. I had to call my credit card company to clear things up, and then I tried again. This time, the order went through and I got an email from QVC confirming my purchase and giving me an estimated delivery date.
Well, that delivery date came and went, and I still hadn't received my helmet. I checked my email and there was no update from QVC, so I decided to call customer service. That's when things really started to go downhill. The representative I spoke to told me that my card had been declined again and that I needed to send a check instead. I was really confused because I had already cleared things up with my credit card company and had received an email from QVC confirming my order.
I tried to explain this to the customer service rep, but they just kept insisting that it was my fault and that I needed to send a check. It was really frustrating because I felt like they weren't listening to me at all. I ended up having to cancel my order and I'll never shop with QVC again. I'd rather spend a little extra money and get better service from Amazon or another supplier.
Overall, I really don't recommend QVC. Their customer service is terrible and they don't seem to care about their customers at all. If you're looking for a reliable supplier, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
QVC's Inefficient Returns Process and Poor Customer Service Experience
I recently had an experience with QVC that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I received a package from them that had a manufacturing error, and it took a whole week for them to send me a label to return it. When I finally received the label, I was supposed to have a pickup from Evrie at 2:30, but they never showed up. To make matters worse, the driver marked the package as if I had decided to keep it, which was completely untrue.
I tried to contact Evrie, but there was no one available to speak with. So, I called QVC to see if they could help me out. They told me that a new courier, DBD, would be picking up the package the next day, and I had to take a day off of work without pay to wait for them. They gave me a label to attach to the package, but it was a huge inconvenience and ruined my day.
I think QVC should compensate me for this inconvenience. It's 2022, and most companies have a QR code that can be scanned at a post office, which would have made this process much easier and faster. Evrie's lack of English comprehension and unprofessionalism was frustrating, and I think DPD would have been a better choice for a courier.
I'm a long-term customer of QVC, and I don't think it's fair that I had to cancel a day of work to wait for a courier. I have no more vacation days left, and this whole process has been incredibly stressful. I didn't even receive an apology from QVC for the inconvenience. I think they need to improve their customer service and make the returns process more efficient and user-friendly.
QVC.com Review: Scammers Selling Used Items as New, No Refund Received After 4 Months
I've been a loyal Vitamix blender user for years and I wanted to surprise my sister with one as a gift. I searched online and found QVC.com offering a good deal on the blender. I was a bit skeptical about the company, so I decided to check out the reviews before making a purchase. After reading some positive feedback, I decided to go ahead and order the blender.
It took a while for my sister to receive the blender, but when she finally did, she was disappointed to find out that it was a used machine. The blender had clear signs of usage, which was not what we expected from a new machine with a warranty. I immediately contacted QVC's customer service to report the issue. They assured me that they do not sell used items and promised to replace the blender.
We sent back the first machine and waited for the replacement to arrive. It took another month for the process to be completed. When my sister received the second machine, it too had defects and was definitely not a new machine. At this point, it was clear that QVC was lying in their advertisement. We returned the second machine and requested a refund.
However, after four months of calling and haggling, we still haven't received our refund. The only thing we got back was a $10 shipping cost. It's frustrating to deal with a company that doesn't keep their promises and lies in their advertisement. We're still out $300 and have no Vitamix to show for it.
In conclusion, I would not recommend buying from QVC. They are scammers who don't keep their promises and sell used items as new. It's a waste of time and money dealing with them.
Buyer Beware: QVC's Easy Pay System Fails to Deliver on PS5 Purchase
I recently made a purchase on QVC.com using their easy pay system. I ordered a PS5 system and was excited to receive it. However, after waiting for a week, I found out that my item got lost in the mail. I was disappointed, but QVC offered me a credit towards a new system with the option of easy pay. I thought it was a good deal, so I went through checkout and tried to use the easy pay option. Unfortunately, it wouldn't allow me to use it like they promised. I ended up being stuck with a bill on my credit card and credit with them.
I decided to use my credit towards 2 Playstation 5 games because I ordered one elsewhere. However, I would caution others to be wary of ordering from QVC because items seem to get lost in the mail too often. I talked to various people and found out that they use a carrier service that loses a lot of items. A Playstation 5 is an expensive item, so needless to say, I was terribly disappointed with QVC.
What really frustrated me was that my first order (which got lost) allowed easy pay, but my second order didn't accept it. I have good credit, so I have no idea why they didn't accept me the second time. I ended up going to Walmart to get one, and I have cheaper payments to make using affirm. I wish I had just done this in the first place, but I jumped the gun with QVC too fast!
In conclusion, I would not recommend QVC for purchasing expensive items like the PS5. While their easy pay system may seem like a good deal, it's not worth the risk of losing your item in the mail and being stuck with a bill on your credit card.
QVC Review: Fraudulent Charges, Poor Customer Service, and Delayed Refunds
QVC is a company that I would not recommend to anyone. I have been a customer for a while now and everything was going smoothly until a couple of weeks ago. I received a message that my address had been changed and then another message that two Apple iWatches had been purchased for over $1400.00. To my surprise, my bank account had been wiped clean. I was left with no money to buy food or drinks for my family during a snowstorm in Western Carolina. I had to spend my entire afternoon filing fraud complaints with QVC, my bank, my county's police department, and the police in the county where the new address on my account was from. It took almost two weeks for my money to be refunded, which was a very frustrating experience.
I have been reading reviews on all the popular websites and I keep seeing how people were not refunded, didn't get the gift, or got only a small portion of the money that they paid when they returned the merchandise. It is important to make a police report in such cases. This is the only reason why QVC agreed to refund my money. I hope this information helps others who may be struggling to provide for their families during the holiday season. It is very disappointing to see a company like QVC not taking responsibility for their mistakes and causing so much trouble for their customers.
Slow Shipping and Poor Communication: My Experience with QVC
I don't buy from QVC much because I don't like paying for shipping. But sometimes, I can't find what I need anywhere else, so I'll buy from them. I don't understand why it takes so long for them to ship items. I've called them before, but they never give me a straight answer. It seems like a coincidence that the item will be shipped the day after I call. I don't expect them to be as fast as Amazon, but it always takes weeks no matter what I buy.
The only time I had to send an item back was when they sent me the wrong thing. I ordered pants, but they sent me a shirt. And not just any shirt, it was an ugly shirt. I called them, and they told me when the item would be picked up. But when no one arrived several days after I was told someone would be there, I called them again. They told me that they never know when someone is coming. So I said I would take it to the post office. But several weeks later, someone showed up at my door to pick up the item. It's an example of poor communication and customer service.
On the positive side, other than that one time when they sent the wrong thing, I've been satisfied with the items I received when they finally arrive. But because I'm not a patient person, if I buy from them again, it will only be a last resort.
QVC's Shoddy Return Policy: Beware of Hidden Fees and Frustration
I recently made a purchase from QVC, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience. The item I bought cost $39.95, and with shipping and handling fees of $5.00 and tax of $3.15, the total came out to $48.11. But hey, they offer two easy pays of $24.05, so that's something, right? Anyway, I received the item and unfortunately, it didn't work for me. But no worries, as their hosts always say, "WHAT HAVE YOU GOT TO LOSE? IF THE ITEM DOESN'T WORK FOR YOU, SEND IT RIGHT BACK FOR A FULL REFUND."
So, I decided to take them up on their offer and return the item. But when I received my "full" refund, it was only for $12.10, not the $24.05 that was charged to my credit card. I was confused and frustrated, so I contacted customer service for an explanation. And let me tell you, their response was not what I was expecting.
According to customer service, when you return an item, you are once again charged $5.00 for shipping. And the return label that is printed with a cost of $6.95 is not for shipping, but for insurance and handling. So, the total charges for my return came out to $11.95. This was news to me, as I had been a long-time customer of QVC, going all the way back to the '90s (when Denim & Co. was actually worth the money, but not anymore).
This new policy of theirs, where they charge you for insurance and handling on a return label, is quite shoddy in my opinion. And for the privilege of trying out an item on QVC, it now costs me $11.95. I was so upset by this that I told the customer service agent that I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau in West Chester, PA about their new business practices.
My advice to anyone considering shopping with QVC is to stay away. Most of their merchandise is inferior anyway, with the exception of Bob Mackie. But even then, it's not worth the hassle and frustration of dealing with their customer service and return policies.
Customer service
back in April I ordered a Stan Herman caftan and later than same night I ordered another one but that one was out of stock so put on a waist list and told my credit card wouldn't be charged till it was shipped.
It came on the 17 th and is what the invoice I got with it says but it had already been reduced in price down to $29.99 and yet I was charged the price it was when I ordered it in April even though I didn't get it till June 17 th and the price was then $29.99.
I contacted CS and was told it was beyond the 30 days. I don't figure that since I just got it. I only had it 1 day when I contacted CS and told her and said I thought I should have only been charged for that one at the current price when it was shipped $29.99 and she just kept saying it was past the 30 days. I paid the higher price for the first one I ordered and yes that was right since it was a TSV when I ordered but the second one on wait list I didn't get till June 17 th and at that time the price was $29.99
I think this is very very poor CS. I have been with you almost as long as you have been on air 37 years. you came on air November 24, 1986 and I joined the following January 1987 so 1 1/2 months shy of when you first came on air
Desired outcome: all I wanted was to be charged the lower price which was only $5 or $6 but they wouldn't do that
QVC
I bought an item. Damaged when I got it. I emailed, chatted and called for 5 months to get help! Finally they said they would promise to refund and I could throw item away. Yet they continue to take payments from pay pal! Again called for another 3 months! Refused to help. I stopped payment after they took out twice. Then they had a collection agency call me!
They charged me again the full price! So I almost paid double! I lost wages, family and personal time and had a lot of stress over this! They were rude and unwilling to cooperate!
Desired outcome: Paid $5000 for harassment, lost wages, fraud and for making my credit bad
QVC customer service Item is HALO Bolt jump starter
I ordered In Febuary did a Charge on unit. Did not use until May the air compressor does not work the red light lights up as hot. Unit is defective.
I called customer service the lady email me my receipt and told me I would have to pay for shipping and they would send a new one or due a full refund
Called today customer service said they are sending it back to be because of 30 days pass. So I m out of $148 plus $14 to return. If this battery is defective and catches fire to my house or car I hold QVC responsible for selling me a defective unit and not standing by the poor quality of this product. Watch out consumers
Desired outcome: Full refund or a unit that works
Fraudulent QVC outlets
Please make your QVC shoppers aware of a scam of dooney and bourke pocktbooks. They are using a video of yours making it seem like it's you. Making s police report tomorrow and have called my bank.
Please contact Facebook and tell them to take video down. It is still on there.
They emailed if I send it back $30 will be shipping cost I paid $45.99. Or take $12 and keep pocketbook.
Desired outcome: Here is the email [protected]@outlook.com for now. Soon as I paid ad this email I knew I was ripped off.
DJI mavic 3 classic
I am livid with your company right now. I placed an order last night and did the 5 pay option and paid the first payment. My order was “cancelled” and. I one even bothered to notify me. They told me my account was deleted for potential fraud. Which is a lie. This is my first time EVER ordering from QVC. They then told me that no one contacted me because my email and phone number and other information mysteriously deleted. But my credit card number didn’t. You all held on to that with no problem. You then tell me that I can go buy it somewhere else. Piss poor customer service and it’s a blatant lie. If there is anything fraudulent going on it seems to be from your companies end. Terrible customer service. No logical explanation given. And on top of that I had to reach out to be made aware my order was cancelled. I was then told that it was to protect me , how are you protecting me when I wasn’t even made aware that I was being protected. I will never do business with you all again and I’ll assure to spread the word to my immediate family and friends that we will not do business with you all either. May not matter to you much , but we are honest hardworking people that don’t deserve to be treated like pawns by big corporations . I am a small business. I purchased this product for a specialized photo shoot for a customer. Because of QVC’s lack of care and empathy , I Okkk how to disappoint my client and lose out on money for my family. While you all tie my money up for the next 7 days. Thanks for nothing.
Sorry for the typos, I am beyond frustrated with that lack luster company.
Refund scam
A bed frame I purchased through QVC broke in half on 3/31/2023, I immediately called QVC and the representative processed the refund request of $476 to my bank account. I asked the representative how to return the item and she indicated the item would is not returnable and therefore provided no return process directions. On April 1, 2023, I received an email from QVC confirming that a refund for the product was forthcoming.
After a week and no sign of the refund, I called QVC again and was told that instead of getting a refund, I was given a store credit. Disappointed at the change from the original arrangement, I refused the store credit and insisted on the original request of a refund; which the QVC representative agreed to and claimed to place an expedited request for a check. The representative also acknowledged that the card currently linked to my bank account is not the same as the card used to purchase the item; therefore a paper check would have to be issued.
Weeks went by with no refund and I made several calls to QVC; each call claiming an expedited request for a check refund would be processed but at no time during ANY of these calls, was I asked to return the item or contact any agency to pick up the item.
Today, May 2, 2023, I spoke with another QVC customer service representative (#5) who was the first person to state that UPS will pick up the item; completely contradicting the directions the first QVC representative provided to me on 3/31/2023.
Now I’m being told after a month of being misled, misdirected, and strung along, that a refund that was promised in writing several weeks ago will not be issued until the item is returned; an item I was told to discard by the QVC representative on 3/31/2023. I have returned smaller items in the past to drop off points before per the company’s instructions; so returning items is not new to me. However, this is a queen size bed foundation and frame so the instruction from the QVC representative to NOT return or drop off the item was credible and reasonable. However, the supervisor by the name of Diane condescendingly told me today that I should have known to return the item even though I was not only told not to so after asking but there is nothing in the order records to indicate directions were given as to where where or how the item should be returned.
QVC seems to have made up new excuses at each call, blatantly lied about their claim to have sent a refund, and is now hiding being the “we just got this notice from corporate” trope to justify stealing money from a customer.
Buyers should beware of making any purchase from this service. My experience has shown them to be a disingenuous and dishonest outfit that takes its customers for fools.
Desired outcome: Full refund

Delivery of GTech Lawnmower
I ordered a GTech Lawnmower several weeks ago and have still not received it. After 7 days, I phoned Customer Services and was informed that the Couriers had tried to deliver the item on two occasions which was totally untrue. I am disabled and housebound and no deliveries were attempted or calling card left. I was promissed this would be looked into and I would receive it within next few days. This didn;t happen and I was then told that the label had been damaged and they were waiting on another. Still I didn't receive it and again I was told it was on it's way. I did then ask for a new one to be sent as I was concerned it may by now be damaged. I was advised that this was not possible. Yesterday I had to phone again. as still not received and I was advised that a new one was being sent out via a different courier and it will be another 3-5 days. I am very disappointed and having arranged for my Gardener to come to cut the grass weeks ago, my grass is now about a foot high! I would be grateful if you could look into this matter
Many thanks
Desired outcome: I get delivery and an apology
