Ramada Ramada by Wyndham in Boston

My stay at Ramada by Wyndham in Boston (8/14 - 8/17/22) was a nightmare !

The pictures on-line do not match the reality of the rooms. #237 & #239

The building was very poorly designed originally. The rooms do not have windows for fresh air or daylight.  Instead, the window in the room faces a hall corridor with only a black-out shade, no sheer curtain that would allow light and privacy. The hall corridor does have windows and the a/c unit’s exhaust is vented into this corridor.   

The room furniture and carpet are well worn and should be replaced (as they would be if they were in your home).  

The general atmosphere in the room is shabby and gloomy.  The tv reception is snowy.  

In the first room I occupied, the shower control required both hands to operate. 

The laundry facility had no change machine, no folding table (as shown) nor soap vending machine. 

I knew this was not going to be The Four Seasons but my  experience in other Ramada Inns was far better than this.

On the second day, I had itching spots on my neck and thigh (see photos).  On close inspection, there were black things on the sheets and mattress cover (see photos) which I could not identify.  The staff at the front desk commiserated and assigned me another room.  

The approach to both these rooms required walking by several rooms in a row which had obviously had blunt forced entry and were subsequently padlocked.  Drug bust?

The new bed had no unidentified critters but was just as rundown. However, after showering I opened a towel to find a wad of black hair (see photo) - mine is sandy color.  

 I discussed the details of the unidentified bed things with the manager (name withheld). He apologized and said he would issue a credit to my credit card for the stay.  We shook hands.  I checked out.  

I still have  not received the credit that was promised ( 8 days ago). I called the manager repeatedly, leaving three phone messages that were ignored.  A fourth call was directed to his voicemail, which was full already, and I could not leave another message.  

His behavior is completely unprofessional and not an acceptable response to the issues I experienced.  

I am a mature man who has travelled extensively and I have never stayed at a nationally branded facility with these conditions - especially, Ramada.  

Very dissatisfied !

Desired outcome: The credit I was told I would receive. $354.24

Ramada Ramada inn charlotte airport

This is the second time i sent this to you, no response to date!

I went on line and made a reservation for november 15. The web site gave a price of approx 108 dollars for the night. This included 21 days of free parking at the hotel. They accepted the reservation and sent a confirmation. Attached!

The next day the hotel senr an email saying that they were not going to honor the agreed upon price. They said that the web site had not been updated, that is not my fault. I told them that i would file a complaint about their behavior.

Desired outcome: I just want the agreed upon price to be honored. 108 dollars

Ramada Room cleanliness, bad condition and appearance as well as safety

Sirs, the first room we had was in faily good condition for that type of hotel and the receptionist was fairly nice.

However we decided to stay another night but there was no another double room available and we couldnt keep the current one.

I was offer by the receptionist a king size bed with a sofa, which should be ready after 4 pm.

so we checked out at 11 am and had to wait to install our selves in the other one for few hours.

So we left our louggage in the storage room (very dirty and disorderly), we came back from a niagara tour around 7 pm and found out the room she booked for us was so deppressing, bad condition, ugly and dirty, the rug was despicable dirty and wrinkled.

The worst and scary part was when we approched the room found a dirty mattress laying on the wall and a grey sofa just 50 centimeters from the room door and sitting on the sofa a suspecious man talking on the phone.

I immediately went to talk to the colombian receptionist she came over and confirmed the situation. I told her the room was unacceptable and should find some other accomodation. by the way I was alone with my two underage boys at 8 pm with no safe and decent room to stay.

She agreed the room was despicable and she offered another one room which was being remodeled which hallway was on repaired ¡¡¡

I left my boys and lauggge in the reception and walked around at night alone to find another hotel near by to stay.

So left the hotel at night feeling sad, unsafe, sad and desappointed.

I request the immediate reimbursement of the room charge since we didnt use it.

the hotel caused us a lot of stress, feel unsafe for me and my boys, the hotel put us in this situation and is not correct. I NEED RAMADA TO PROCEED AND REIMBURSE ME THE NIGHT. ANGELICA ROJAS ALVAREZ

Ramada Ramada hotel Wyndham Kent Seattle

Dear sir, madam

I made a booking at this hotel for me & wife back in April of this year. For the 1st September- to 7th September 2022 with breakfast included. But recently I was informed my the hotel that the restaurant is closing forever . This stay was ideal for our budget but now unfortunately I have to book elsewhere with little time left till we fly out to Seattle. I am extremely disappointed & not satisfied with the service I have experienced . Therefore I will never book at Ramada hotels next time ☹️

Ramada Hotel rates/. Ramada inn charlotte airport north

I searched on line and was pleaded with the hotel offer $108 for the night with free shuttle to airport and up to 21 days free parking. I reserved the room. They accepted my credit information and i received a confirmation number, copy is attached. The next day i received an email saying it was higher and i was only allotted 7 days parking, an additional charge was given for the parking. Their emails are also attached. I was told they had not updated their prices yet. I told then to continue the booking, but i would be lodging this complaint

Desired outcome: I only want them to honor our initial agreement of 108 dollars.

Ramada my complaint is about not receiving my deposit

Made a reservation on July 20th -July 21st. I had to pay a refundable deposit of 120.00. I was told on the 20th that my deposit would be put back in my account in about 3-4 days. I still haven't received my money. I've called the Ramada that I stayed in Albuquerque N.M. on 2020 Menual Blvd. They said they have released my money on the 21st. and I have called my card company and they said that on there end it still show it has not be released. Why is this taking so long to receive my money? This is the second time I have had trouble with my money being returned from Ramada by Wyndham Hotels. Ramada Bugs in the hotel room

We booked in Ramada Trenton, Ontario, Canada for two nights in July,22 and 23rd 2022 room 115. The room is dirty and at night we found a bug on the bed looks like a bedbug. We hold it and give it to reception but they just said it's not bedbug and we can't do anything for you.

I had to cancel my booking for that night and booked in another hotel. They are not cooperation at all.

Ramada Misleading Hotel

During the month of April, we made reservations at the Ramada Inn, 5250 El Segundo Blvd, Los Angeles, CA, July 9-19. We booked this hotel because the Front Desk Clerk informed me that the hotel had a Fitness Room and Laundry Room. This is very important to my husband and myself because we walk 5 miles, 7 days, every single day on our treadmills at home between 5-6:00 am. Upon arriving at the hotel, the Manager (Clara Gaeta) via phone, informed us that the Fitness Room was shut down for renovations. We asked her if there was another Ramada Inn nearby that she could transfer us to but she refused to accommodate us. My husband and I were so upset because if we had been informed that the Fitness Room had been shut down for renovations we would not have stayed at that particular Ramada Inn. Our itinerary during our stay in California was on a STRICT time schedule that included reservations and appointments to numerous locations. We were forced to alter our schedule by obtaining a temporary membership to Planet Fitness which drastically changed our itinerary causing us to missed important appointments and events! The hotel manager, Clara, showed very little concern. We brought with us one set of workout attire that we could wash and dry in the laundry room when we finished exercising. To make matters worse on our first day in the hotel, the dryer was not working. I spent $6 in quarters for 2 hours before I found out both dryer were broke. Our clothes were still wet. When we informed the Front Desk Clerk, Olah about the dryers not working, she told me I had to call the repair company to come and fix them in their hotel. Needless to say, I felt insulted! Olah rudely told me it was not their responsibility. She was very unprofessional. When we asked to speak to the Manager, Clara, she refused to meet with us. It became evident to us that the staff and management did not care about our concerns. We were inconvenienced again because now we have to waste our valuable time finding a laundry mat to dry our clothes! This hotel was absolutely horrible! Our room keys failed us 6 times and each time we had to go to the front desk to have the entry code put back on our cards. The parking garage code changed on us, we was not informed and we could not park inside one night. This was a serious security issue because it jeopardized our safety. The phone was not working and we had to use our personal phones to call the front desk. The bathroom sink had black mold underneath the rim. (See the pictures enclosed) Our room door, 118 has plastic hanging from the bottom of it. The hair dryer was also not working. Having worked Front Desk at Residence Inn, Doubletree and Hampton Inn, I know the importance of customer service and courtesy. We were so disappointed with this hotel that we filed a complaint concerning its inept service to Corporate Headquarters and online. I am requesting a full refund for the misrepresentation we received from the manager and staff. If you want an accommodating, enjoyable, friendly and nice vacation, please avoid the incompetence at this hotel!

Ramada Ramada Inn on 175 Tuckahoe Road, Yonkers New York

Hello,

I booked 2 nights at the Ramada Inn in Yonkers, NY and the place is not fit for occupancy. From the lobby to the hallways the walls are in poor condition and need a paint job. The carpet on the floors and in the rooms are dirty. They put me in a room on the 1st level where there was closet space, but not doors, hangers or rods to hang the clothes. The room smelled of cigarette smoke so I asked for another room. They put me on the 3rd floor-room 315 which had a real closet with a mirror on the door and hangers, but the wall paper was peeling off a section of the wall. They advertise breakfast, with rubber pancakes, hard bagels, and a few other minor selections (coffee, juice, yogurt and cereal). They should advertise a continental breakfast since there were no eggs or meat products. I find this location does not represent the Ramada brand the I have been accustom to as a avid traveler. Greatly disappointed.

Desired outcome: Refund for the two nights ore voucher for another location.

Ramada Hidden fees, front desk customer service, and hotel safety and cleanliness

Hi there.

I reserved a room for July 2, 2022 via online via Ramada by Wyndamn under confirmation 80649ED061696. I was quoted for a price of $186.63. Upon check in (front desk name was Nicole) I was charged $288.94 and was NOT given a print out of itemized charges. Although we had 2 dogs, ($50 fee), that is double the charge. Not only did we get this additional $100 charge, our room was filthy. The shower was rusted, there was black mold on the ceiling, also the room and doors to the outside did not lock properly, We felt unsafe, and very unclean staying there. Unfortunately we were from out of town and had no other option. The condition of your Angola Hotel coupled with the failure to provide itemized receipts for fees was so bad that we cancelled our reservation for the next night.

However, despite cancelling our reservation for night July 3, I was still charged for the stay ($147.61) and another $100 (and separate fee). this is a total charged of $534.24. After speaking with Nicole the front desk person about our experience, she only allowed a refund for $100.00. Please credit the full amount of our stay and provide a clean and safe hotel experience for future customers.

Ramada a racist lobby personel name joshua

this guy named joshua have a racist problem with his costumer. all may collegues has complaining about coffee in the morning that is not allowed for us filipino staying on the ramada houma loisiana. and he is not willing to assist us on any question that we ask for him this kind of personnel need to have a good relationship with his costumer

I checked in on 5/13/22. My rooms bed had a urine stain on one of the beds. One of the door locks was broken off. The television was damaged. The furniture was stained and torn. Room service never visited my room to change the sheets and give us new towels. The ramada refuses to change my sheets

Ramada Resort

I checked in on the 8/5/22 at 01:00 with a party consisting of 6.

x4 adults and x2 children (ages of 1 & 3).

Upon check in there was a a group that entered after us and continued to have a huge argument amongst themselves and others.

I informed the reception staff that I felt uncomfortable and more importantly unsafe for the safety of my children and myself.

The reception staff member (Omar) was rude and unhelpful informing me “what can I do, they always argue and fight”.

I enquired as to why Security was not intervening to resolve the issue, only to see that the security staff member was standing idly on the side.

I asked if it was possible for food or refreshments for my children but I was told it was too late (yet in the morning the reception manager informed me that this could of been arranged).

No map, no information, no wrist bands issued to any of the party. I asked for WiFi and was spoken to rudely and told that the hotel don’t know when people are turning up so I need to wait. Yet my reservation has been confirmed for weeks.

The hotel is in a poor state, very dated and the WiFi is appalling.

No lifeguard

Awful facilities on the poor excuse of a beach.

No ice cream or snacks for the kids.

At nights it is loud and chaotic and we have decided to not venture out into the resort as the environment is not family friendly.

I only booked this particular resort based on the Ramada brand and from previous experiences. I am bitterly disappointed and aggrieved by this resort and contempt I feel from the staff towards guests.

The world time display in the reception with different countries does not even function. Berlin, Moscow, Istanbul, London are all stuck at 12:00.

I have travelled across the world in both a personal and professional capacity. I’ve also worked abroad for Tui and Thomas Cook assessing resorts and hotels. This hotel falls well short of my expectations of a 5* resort.

Desired outcome: I would like points so I can stay for a minimum of 5 nights at a different Ramada resort.

My husband and I traveled to Seattle Washington on 9/2/22 and checked into the Ramada by Wyndham Seatac location. Online reservation went smoothly and our questions were answered quickly (I have meds that need refrigeration and was assured I was all set.)To say we were appalled by the attitude of the front desk clerk at the time is an understatement. She was abrupt and very rude when we arrived. I have checked into various facilities across the nation and can give basic answers to the usual questions during check in. She huffed and sighed many times while waiting for either my answers or showing the confirmation paperwork I had which was very quick. We didn't care what floor we were on so room numbers/floors were not a concern to us. But she kept saying well it wasn't her fault what rooms/floors we got...the system sucks! So we tried to quickly move the check in along and finally got our room key and were on our way up the elevator to the fourth floor. Upon getting to the room, our room key didn't work. I gingerly called the front desk and she just huffed again..saying she can't do anything, just come down and she'll re-run it. I noted that the room did not have a microwave or more importantly to me a mini refrigerator for my meds. When I asked her about it...she just said they were renovating and to just get Ice. So down I went to get room card fixed. While there, I asked about another room with a fridge...she sighed and spoke to me like I was a child! I said you could get some Ice...or You can bring the medicine down here...the employees have a fridge. Just declined as that was NOT safe, and went back to the room. We had to get our room keys updated three more times coming and going over the holiday weekend. I did not have any other interaction with her until we checked out on Monday, 9/5/22! WE had the same one and she was awful! We stood in line, waited our turn, and was finally at the front desk. She didn't even look up and rudely said...You gotta wait, I'm just getting here and shift changes you know...I need to set things up and basically walked away. She had already taken care of 3 groups before me! She came back and I just said "I need to check out" Her response was "Well DUH!" Seriously, this lady needs to get a job she likes...because customer service at a what we thought a Good Hotel Chain wasn't it! Her comments were awful, she was rude, she was arrogant, she was basically a [censored]! She grabbed my room keys off the counter, ran them, and just stood there. She didn't ask me if I was using the card I signed in for check out. Finally she looked up with a questioning look in her eyes...I just asked "what?" "Well I need your card to check you out?" After I gave it to her, another customer came up beside me and just asked "Ma'am can you tell me the local time?" She just pointed to a clock on the side wall and said "It's right there, use your eyes!" I had lost it! "Seriously lady...he just asked the time! Can I get your name?" She didn't have one one...at any time I had to interact with her, She looked up at me and said very loudly, "I DONT GIVE MY NAME OUT!" I just replied..."I can see why!" I did try to get her picture but the outgoing night clerk warned her and she literally ducked down below the counter! Seriously, there needs to be some training and maybe some check ins of higher ups or facility managers or some training on basic customer service. We weren't asking for anything outrageous. But a little common courtesy, some truths to the amenities, and some serious upgrade to who interacts with the customers who come to your facility. Lack of amenities really make it tough for anyone to travel when told or when we see what we need. on websites. I don't believe your clerk that weekend was telling us the truth in that there were renovations. If so, we can understand a room or group of rooms not having microwaves or fridges but to offer or sell rooms stating those are in there and they aren't...just a bad experience overall and its been said...word of mouth travels much faster than any organized troubleshooting or customer services!

Ramada Room conditions namely room 210 at the Ramada Inn Wyndham fairgrounds in Exposition Center, Louisville, KY

When we reserve this room we tried to reserve it for three nights it only allowed us to reserve it for two nights when I checked in I told her I wanted it for three nights apparently she only charged me for two nights and then called Saturday morning when I was at a basketball tournament at the expo center asking me if I was going to check out I had to stop what I was doing stop watching the game two check out and then check back in for one more night I think that’s horrible service in itself then to top it all off the following is off the charts

Ramada inn next to the expo center

1) Funky smell in the room

2) TV does not work wallpaper come in loose in the shower exposing mildew underneath it

3) The shower curtain bar is loose and dropping down

4) Mildew underneath the rim of the bathroom sink

5) The toilet seat is not the right size for this Commode and it should be an oblong toilet

6) The fan in the bathroom has rust on it it’s very loud and noisy and it nighttime makes funky noise sounds

7) There is a wall plug in the bathroom that’s completely loose that the coffee maker is plugged into

By the way I’m allergic to mold that’s why I left the fan on all the while I was here I didn’t even want to go in the bathroom.

Ramada Misinformed

We were told when we booked the towers that we would be able to park our camper near the towers where we could see it. On Saturday, March 12 when we arrived, we were told to park it across spots along the fence. Now today we find a note from security TAPED to the side of our camper telling us we must move it to the FRAME? When we inquired at the front desk, we would told we had to move it clear to the back of the parking lot behind the motel part of this establishment. There is no manager on duty to speak with and were told they are only here from 9 am to 5 pm. We will be in the park at that time where we have reservations.

Also there has been the same construction truck parked 3 spots in front of camper for three days. Today it moved one spot closer. Are we purposely being blocked from getting to our camper? Couldn't move it even if all the previous had not been told to us.

We still have two more park days reserved and are booked until Thursday. Is there a problem with us staying exactly where we are at?

Update Tuesday: I could not sleep all night worrying about this situation last night. Stopped at front desk before heading out to magic kingdom. They said manager would be here 1:00 pm - 9:00. Could not enjoy park worrying about moving the camper so we returned around 2:30 pm so less cars in parking lot to move camper. Again tape was used to place another note on our camper. It has left a residue. Asphalt truck is now only one spot away and no way for us to back in under camper. Guard said no way to contact owner of truck. Not sure where worker will return. Is this not a guest? Why is the truck there and why does it keep being moved closer? Now we have to sit here in our room, wasting our vacation, while we wait to see if truck owner returns. Then we have to move the camper to an area that we may possibly get blocked in again.

We had many chooses in Wyndham hotels to stay at but after my husband spoke to someone on the phone and they assured us of a safe place to park that could be seen from our room, we chose the Ramada. This is turning into a not so nice birthday celebration.

Ramada Ramada by Wyndham in Henderson KY

First of all there is 3 rooms with sewage drawing out of the toliet. The one and only housekeeper there was very polite. I was in 164 and my toliet was dealing out of the base of it as well 2 other rooms. The maintance guy was just looking at and the housekeeping kept apologizing about it and contacting her Manager I over heard her say Jason is in the bar area. I don't understand why because the bar area and kitchen is shut down. I overheard her say I go and ask him. So she got off her phone from the manger and out the door and it was flooding from all 3 rooms no one was even trying to help. I'm glade I was leaving that day. The house keeper over to clean another room fire me. My job was done I was leaving anyways. That girl deserve to be the manger she the only one seem like she know what she was doing and cares about the customers.

Desired outcome: The place be shut down. It is not good for anyone. The doors don't lock to the entrance of if most doors. The maintance guy is never around but all kinds of mold and musky smell.

Ramada Falsified charge

Hotel owner charged me 20.00 extra while I was still in my room ( bank verified). Upon calling hotel, owner told me ( before he got my name) the charge was for a stained towel. I have been reimbursed by my bank but this is happening to others by this fraudulent owner to increase his bank balance and needs to stop. I have video proof of everything
