I have been going to Superstore for over a decade and have not had little complain about until tonight.
I used the self-serve check out and had issues scanning a couple of items, so I put them to aside for later.
After a while, a female staff rep came over and asked "Am I buying them?" I let her know they were not scanning. She angrily scanned them in after a few failed tries and left.
As a caveat, I have cognitive challenges under loud, bright, situations where I am being stared at by staff. Under stress, I am slightly slower than most people at tasks, but generally, I am fine.
She later took the time to come over, when I didn't need help, and snarkily say "If I am going to shop here, next time don't use the self checkout, because I can only use self check out if I have under 25 items." Then she turned her back and walked off.
I looked down at my items and took time to count them, I had less than 25. So instead of assuming she was trying to be rude and abilist I let her know, I have less than 25. She looked at me and repeated the same line and also added," Ya but your only one person" then gestured with her arms at the amount of people waiting, of which there were none. I became confused. I was confused and again repeated myself, "I counted and I have less than 25". She walked off to join her staff peer and continue to stare ahead at nothing.
It then dawned on me that she was insinuating that I am taking too long for her liking. I can only infer from her lack of logic and snarky superiority complex, there was something about me she personally disliked.
She did not care or listen to what I said and acted like I had said nothing. Probably the only power she had to feel better about herself was to reprimand me for some imagined infraction.
Generally, I don't let micro aggressions like these get the best of me, but it left me feeling horrible and judged for something that was not tangible, i.e. discriminated against.
If so it's a cowardly way of bullying people to overcompensate for an unhappy life.
Post covid, I thought we could all do better but it seems people forget quickly what the value of community is.
I am disappointed at the standard of representation that was hired by this store at Grandview.
Desired outcome: Staff should learn to recognize and tolerate people who are differently abled. Companies in customer service now have cultural and differently-abled sensitivity training and plus communication skills.
My check out experience
My experience at your walker road store check out was the worst I have ever had at any check out in my life. There were 2 people in front of me. When the cashier got to the end of the order of the person before me there was a problem. The cashier tried to fix it, then had to call someone who in turn had to call someone. The register required a long reboot process. I spent at least one half an hour waiting. I then took my groceries off the conveyor and went to another line that again required a long wait. Finally I paid for my groceries and then found out the cashier did not know how to scan for points for my bags. Rather then further waiting I said forget it and left. I am inclined to not require your grocery store services, or any of your services!

Customer service
I am speaking in behalf of the other customer. The front end manager (zagar) at the supertore signal hill is very rude and arrogant. One of the customer had paid her grocery and was approached by that person and rudely asked the customer if she paid it. That is very unacceptable behaviour of a manager! They already saw her pay and was addressed like that? What a shame!
Desired outcome: That manager should be dicipline, his very rude!

We are the family here in South Regina costumer. This Store since this open but many time getting bad service and bad attitude from there some Staff. We buy from here every week almost $2000 like grocery Chicken. Today we got Very very bad service from one of the cashier was lady her name PRATI. Sneaky Service Fee
I paid for the PC express insiders and decided to switch to the Express Pass subscription. Since then the Prince George Superstore has been charging me a $1 service fee each time I pick up groceries. As i was completing my shopping at the self checkout area i was harassed by 2 of your employees as i was scannig the objects one of the employees moved my re-usable bags around and declared to her co-worker sometings hiding uner here she the proceeded to move my cart around physically i asked what are you doing? I did not ask for assitance. also why does it take 2 employees to assist a person that does not need it? I filled out the survey as soon as i got home from that trip giving 1 star rating when this happens a manager is according to the survey information supposed to contact you by telephone within the week. The date of your employees interaction was March 4 2023 at 12:29 p.m. since i have gotten response after repeatedly askiing why my service complaint has not been adressed. If this continues after my latest try (this one) to find an answer for the egregious behaviour of your employees. Let it be noted after i paid i went to buy a lotto ticket so looking back in the self checkout i saw 3 employees gathered at the terminal i used obviously getting it regurgitate the data from my purchase was this to see if what scanned prices matched all the articles that your employees saw me pay for . I felt demeaned and intimidated by your staff but it seem no one is willing to accept accountability . Hence more stringent legally worded communication is needed.
Produce/ mandarin orange/ wring price
On Friday March 24 around 9:45 pm me and my my wife bought 4l milk, kitchen garbage bag, lemon and a bag of Precedent Choice brand Mandarin Orange.
When we are at POS to pay my wife asked the sales associate what’s the price for that orange she replied $5.99. We showed her the picture that shows $4.99. She called someone and the young guy also got confused. That time I asked can you please call your manager?
A lady came from customer service and U say you mean Superstore put a price tag on the selves and at counter it’s different price, so I want to pay the price. She becomes mad and say bring all stuff to customer service.
Me and my wife brought all items from OIS to Customer Service and she is saying I yelled at her which is not true at all.
Then she called the manager, we were wasted more than 30 minutes then the manager showed up I told him about price and he told me he may adjust the price and that point I told him for a small issue I just wasted 30 [censored]ing minutes. Then he said we need to leave the store and asked leave all items.
We left the store then and all other stores were closed.

LGBT flag display
I lay a complaint at the LGTB flag recently displayed in my local RCSS. This is no place to advertise sex no matter who it is with.
Further, the display of pedophile sex represented by the Baby Blue and Baby Pink colouring is disgusting and an outrage. Take it down!

Mould in pepperoni sticks
I purchased Pepperoni sticks from the store on 17street Nw (whitemud) on the 23rd February 2023 and to my surprise, it was mouldy and my child consumed about 3 of those sticks while in car, she had stomach ache that evening which resulted in her using the washroom continuously that evening going through the morning, I did go back to the store to complain and got a refund back for the peperoni sticks.
Do I get of compensation because the manager of the store said he would get back to me and never did.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response asap and not take another 3 weeks.
Superstore policy RE. Beef sausage sales
We have been shopping at superstore for many years. I have not been able to find beef sausage for approx 6 months. Today March 5 / 2023 I was able to ask someone who worked in the Meat Dept. They proceeded to tell me that Superstore one day about six months ago just stopped issuing a code for beef sausage to be ordered. Instead all I see is plant based and pork sausage available. My Question and Comment is this ... What about all the people that can NOT eat PORK SAUSAGE and DO NOT WANT TO EAT PLANT BASED [censored] !
VERY SHORT SIGHTED and /or the corporation is pushing people towards a substandard product like plant based options !

We were at your store in Leamington and the cashier told us he was open but we had to wait so he could fix the M&M box! He put it on the conveyor belt and made us wait while he fixed the little bags that were in the bigger M&M box! Then as I’m putting my groceries on the conveyor belt my husband asked for bags and the guy threw them at my husband and some landed on the floor! Needless to say it was a crappy experience!
