Buyer Beware: Rockville AudioSavings Sold Me a Defective Amp!
I recently bought a POLK AUDIO PAD1000.1 from a company called AUDIOSAVINGS about two weeks ago. I was pretty excited about the purchase because the amplifier has been discontinued and limited in supply, but the price seemed too good to be true at only $219. I only bought it because I already had the mids highs 800 watt twin amp in stock and a customer wanted that system. I can't blame them, POLK AUDIO is a great brand!
However, to my surprise, the amp was used and defective. The remote wire set screw was frozen as if cross-threaded, which I noticed immediately after opening the package. Anyone who deals in car audio knows that all set screws should be threaded down and gains set to minimum on everything you get. I called the company to complain and was given a bull story that I had to send pics and email to get any response. I wanted RA or return authorization for those doing less than ethical business, but I don't even think he knew what RA meant.
Thankfully, I was able to turn to eBay for help. They are an ethical company, and I trust that I will get my money back. I received a FedEx label in five minutes from them. However, I later found out that ROCKVILLE and AUDIOSAVINGS are one and the same. I only noticed this after my FedEx delivery email said I have a shipment from none other than AudioSavings, not Rockville! Jesus, now I have to go through this again!
BUYER BEWARE! I am going to the BBB if needed because I purchased this directly from the internet from Rockville, so there's no guarantee I'll even get a response. Thanks for the tip! I will add to this review when I receive my Rockville order.
So, if you're thinking of buying from Rockville Audio, be careful. Make sure you check the company's reputation before making a purchase. It's always better to be safe than sorry.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Rockville Audio
I recently had an experience with Rockville Audio that left me feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed. I spent a total of 2.5 hours on the phone with three different customer service representatives, and unfortunately, each one of them was consistently unhelpful.
The issue I was experiencing was that my order had been shipped to the wrong address, and I had to spend a considerable amount of time walking around my neighborhood to locate my $600 order. To make matters worse, the video that was recommended to me to help set up the system was nowhere to be found, and the RCS650 was missing a key element that was necessary to hook up the speakers.
Despite explaining all of this to the customer service representatives, not one of them apologized for the inconvenience. It seemed as though they were trained to take pride in being subpar, which is extremely disappointing. To make matters worse, none of them offered a time-sensitive resolution that would work for me. I was given the option of waiting weeks for a replacement or sending back the original unit and waiting another week or two for a replacement, with no guarantee that the same mistakes wouldn't be made again.
What's even more frustrating is that when I asked to speak with management, I was repeatedly told that I would receive a call back, but no one ever followed through. It's clear that this company either doesn't have a level of accountability or they are not allowed to speak with the public. Either way, it's unacceptable.
I understand that Rockville Audio offers affordable electronics, but it's not worth the incompetent level of service that I received. It makes me long for the days of Circuit City and Radio Shack, where customer service was a top priority. In conclusion, I would not recommend Rockville Audio to anyone looking for quality customer service.
Rockville Audio Review: A Rough Start But Michael Held It Down
Yo, so check it. I don't usually leave reviews, but I gotta say something about Rockville Audio. I copped two of them RPG12BTV2s from Amazon, but got a bogus one and had to get a refund. Not Rockville's fault though, you feel me? But then the second one didn't work at all, straight trash. Amazon wasn't tryna give me another refund, so I had to hit up the Manufacturer. First of all, getting through to them was rough. I had to make phone calls and wait for tech support to holler back for days, making me madder than a hornet. But eventually I got a tech and finally got a freaking RMA.
Lucky for me, I just happened to be working right close to the RMA center, so I just slid up there to take it straight back. And that's when I met Michael, mane. He took my RMA like a pro and even got it bumped up for me. They fixed that sucker up on the low and I was able to scoop it up the next day. Michael really held it down for me, and now it's all about seeing what this bad boy can really do.
Look, I know some people be having some straight up heinous experiences with Rockville, but my own wasn't too bad. Although I do think they could step it up when it comes to customer service. But on the real, my face-to-face interaction with Michael was some next level service. Peace out.
Disappointing Experience with Rockville Audio: Faulty Speakers and Poor Customer Service
Don't even bother with this company. I bought their tm150 tower speakers and the buttons broke in less than a year. It's impossible to control any of the settings like volume or bass now. I mean, what's the point of having speakers if you can't even adjust the sound? I was hoping the warranty would cover it, but it turns out they don't even sell replacement remotes separately. So I tried contacting them a few months later to see if they could help me out, and all they said was that I could buy a remote for $20. Really? I thought it would be covered under the warranty, but apparently not. I mean, they even told me before that they would send me a replacement remote for free, but now they won't even honor that.
Overall, I'm extremely disappointed in Rockville Audio. Yes, the speakers may sound good for the price, but what's the point if they break so easily? It's not just the remote that's the problem either; one of the foot pads broke off within a year too. And on top of all that, the first set of speakers they sent me didn't even work! I had to wait for a replacement to come in the mail, which was a huge hassle.
If you're looking for a reliable company with quality products, don't waste your time with Rockville Audio. They're just not worth it. There's a reason why they only have a 2 star rating overall. Trust me, you'll just end up with overpriced firewood. So save yourself the trouble and find a different company to buy from.
Disappointed with Rockville Audio: Broken Speakers and Poor Customer Service
Last year, I bought a 70V 6 zone amplifier and outside speakers from Rockville Audio and overall, I was pretty happy with my purchase. The outside speakers worked great and the amplifier had a few issues with its level controls, but it wasn't too bad for how much I paid.
Fast forward to this year, and I decided to expand my audio setup. I was excited to purchase four ceiling mount speakers from Rockville Audio. However, when my package arrived, I was disappointed to find that all four of my speakers looked like they had been pulled straight from the discard pile, thrown into a box, and shipped to me. The grills were bent, the instruction sheet was crumpled, and worst of all, every single speaker was either bent or broken.
Naturally, I sent an email to Rockville Audio with a few pictures of the damaged speakers, asking for a refund. But their response wasn't what I was hoping for. They asked for more pictures and then wanted me to ship their trash back to them so they could send me new ones. I was shocked, to say the least. Is this how they treat their customers?
After going back and forth a few times, I decided to cut my losses and told them to keep the money. I didn't want to deal with them anymore. They definitely could learn a thing or two from Amazon when it comes to customer service.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend buying from Rockville Audio if you want a hassle-free shopping experience. Sure, you might save a few bucks, but you're better off putting your money somewhere else. I've heard good things about theavguy.com, but they can be a little pricey. Remember, you get what you pay for.
Terrible Customer Service and Shipping: My Experience with Rockville Audio
It's not often that I take the time to write a review, but in the case of Rockville Audio, I couldn't resist. Let me tell you, this was my worst online shopping experience in years. I mean, it was four whole months before my simple RMA issue was finally resolved. And as if that wasn't bad enough, the item I received wasn't even functioning - just look at the photo for proof.
Getting the company to take it back was like pulling teeth. They took almost three months just to sort out the RMA shipping, and then another month to confirm that they had received the item. I've never seen such incompetence in my life.
Their customer service was abysmal - they would ignore emails for weeks on end, and if you tried to call them, forget about it. I swear they must have been dragging their feet on purpose. The only way to contact them was through email. In the end, I had to file a fraud claim with my bank just to get my money back.
Now, they claim to offer fast returns and shipping, but I'm here to tell you that's just a bunch of lies. I've talked to others who have been dealing with Rockville for even longer than I did - one guy for six whole months! - and I would steer clear of them if I were you.
Here's my advice: if you want to buy Rockville products, get them from Walmart. At least then you can easily swap them out or get a refund if something goes wrong.
Oh, and one more thing - they completely misrepresent their RMA ratings on their products. That's just a shady business practice, if you ask me. I would advise any sensible person to stay away from this company at all costs.
And as if it wasn't enough, they shipped my JBL powered studio subwoofer just loosely in a box, no packing, no airpack. That's just ridiculous. Avoid Rockville Audio, folks.
Beware Before Buying: My Disappointing Experience with Rockville Party Speakers
Shoulda read some reviews beforehand, but I fell for the hype y'all. I caved and ordered 2 of them Rockville party speakers, and let me tell you, they wasn't the worst things I ever heard, but they definitely wasn't the loudest neither. Only tested out one, cause by the time I got to the second one, I was already too fed up with all the bullcrap surrounding the shipment. Sent them right back and went with another supplier. Ain't got no time for that nonsense.
Took more than half a fortnight to receive them, and on the 6th day, still ain't no updates on the shipment. So I rung up their customer service, and all they could say was that they shipped them. And then they hit me with the ol' "it's a FedEx issue, not our fault". I mean, c'mon, even after 10 days and 4 different reps, all they could do was pass the buck. Not the kind of customer service I expected from a company that screamed quality products. The site kept saying they might face a 1-2 day delay in shipping, but it was already 6 days and still no sign of the speakers. And when I called them out on it, they just kept repeating the same old thing.
The product itself wasn't too shabby, but ain't nobody got time for all that rigmarole. Y'all better look elsewhere, save yourselves a whole lotta headache. Finally got the speakers after waiting for a good 3 weeks, but by that time, I was already so fed up I returned them right away. 2 stars for the return process, could've been better but could've been worsened.
Rockville Audio: Seriously Good Gear and Great Customer Service!
Me love Rockville Audio! Me been buying stuff from them for a few years now and gotta say, me am extremely happy with what me get. Me first bought a RPM45 amp and it does a good job and is built solid. Me have used it to power a couple of 12" Speakers (Rockville SPGN128s) for a few live band gigs, and it's a great backup amp for whatever other need might come along.
Me also bought a couple of powered 10" PA speakers (Rockville BPA10s), and one powered 18" sub-woofer (Rockville RBG15) for my home Karaoke system and they are really good. They crank out some seriously good sounds when me hook them up to my Peavey Mixer and me love blasting them when me singing me heart out in me living room. Me also used the 10's for monitors at a few live band gigs with me wife's Beatles cover band performances that me ran sound for.
Recently, me bought the RPA9 amp to power the SPGN12s for me wife's band with a passive mixer. It's the perfect match for those speakers and me had to buy that particular model because of the included inputs and outputs. They had the Speakon (for pro applications) as well as bayonet speaker jacks for me Bose home speakers.
Me can't understand why these people write bad reviews about Rockville Audio. Me wonder if these people have a clue as to how to PROPERLY connect and set stuff up! Me think they just don't know what they doing, because me never had any problems with the stuff me buy. Rockville Audio is great company with reasonably fast shipping even during these troubling Kung Flu times. Me even had one return of a speaker that got damaged in shipment but the process was easy and the refund came quickly.
Overall, me got nothing but good things to say about these people. They know what they doing, they provide great customer service, and they got some seriously good gear. Shout out to Glenn F. From No.Va for introducing me to Rockville Audio. Thanks Glenn! Me am now a loyal customer.
Rockville Audio: A Budget-Friendly Gem for High-End Performance
I gotta say, I haven't hooked up my Rockville Audio gear yet, but I'm already pretty impressed with it. I mean, I didn't pay a bunch of cash for it to perform like some fancy shmancy high-end audio stuff, but I feel like the specs and test numbers show that it's gonna do a good job. Plus, I'm not an idiot, I know that there are gonna be potential problems with my purchase, but I'm prepared for that. You gotta be ready for stuff, you know what I'm saying?
One thing that really bugs me is when folks blame the product for problems that they themselves caused. Like, if you mess up the wiring or something, don't go blaming the product when it doesn't work right. I mean, come on, use a little common sense! I'm no genius, but I know enough to be aware of potential issues before they happen. You gotta take responsibility for yourself, you know?
I'm actually looking forward to hooking up my Rockville Audio gear and really putting it to the test. Like, the numbers don't lie, right? And compared to the super expensive brands out there, I feel like I'm gonna get some killer performance and save a bunch of dough. It's not just about price, though, it's about overall performance. That's what really matters to people who know their stuff.
Anyway, big ups to Rockville Audio for making some sweet gear. I'm excited to see what it can do, and I'm betting it's gonna blow those other guys out of the water. Thanks, Rockville!
Rockville Audio - Poor Remote Quality and Customer Service Hassles for Refund
Got myself a remote for my audio system from Rockville Audio (rockvilleaudio.com) on June 29th this year. It came in the mail on July 10th and I was so excited to finally get my hands on something I had my eyes on for a long time. But things went downhill real quick when on July 12th the remote stopped working.
I reached out to their customer service team to sort things out. It took them till Sept 2nd to even consider sending me a new one. Even then, they told me that they were out of stock and it'll be a while till they could ship a replacement. Instead, they suggested either waiting a few weeks or getting a refund.
After this, on September 3rd, I just gave up and asked for a refund. But on the 4th, their response had nothing to do with the refund request. They just wished me a good morning! Talk about poor customer service.
Things only got worse from there. On September 5th, I received a copy of the order from the initial purchase in June instead of the new one they had supposedly sent. Finally, on September 10th, they sent me an RMA to return the remote after all this hassle.
To make things more confusing, on October 11th, they sent me an email saying that they changed the status to "refund reason - didn't want item", even though I had told them multiple times that it was defective. I contacted them about it. Their response on October 12th was, "Once the refund is received by your bank, it can take 3-5 days for the refund to show up on your accoutn." I was left wondering, "How does this make any sense!?"
I also found out that they had the remote in stock the previous week, but not once did they suggest sending me another one. This is insane! All this for a $20 item I paid for back in June. The quality of the items and customer service are both a real letdown.
I'm still trying to get my refund after 5 months of this tussle. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through all of this for the same defective remote.
Rockville Audio's RVSS4A Speaker Stand: A Frustrating and Disappointing Experience
This review is about the RVSS4A speaker stand from Rockville Audio. This stand has recently been redesigned with new leg adjustment collars and a mechanism to adjust the height of the speaker. It is a complete overhaul from the previous design. According to the company, they offer a "Hassle Free" warranty. This is supposed to ensure that the customer is happy with their purchase and that any issues will be resolved quickly and easily. However, my experience has been far from hassle-free.
As a professional DJ, I rely heavily on my equipment, and a broken speaker stand can cause major issues during a set. When I first contacted Rockville Audio about my broken stand on November 8th, 2017, I offered to pay for replacement parts. However, I was told that they didn't have the parts at the time and that they would contact me when they did. I was patient, but I never heard back from them. When I contacted them again on November 13th, 2017, there was no response.
As time went on, I became more and more frustrated. On February 26th, 2018, I finally mentioned the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and requested a replacement stand rather than just replacement parts. It had become apparent that there was a design flaw in the original stand, as a second one broke in the same way. Despite this, Rockville Audio insisted that they would only warranty the stand as it was.
What ensued was not a hassle-free experience. I was told that they would pay for the shipping of the stands, but I would have to find boxes to pack them in myself. The stands are difficult to pack, and this was far from hassle-free. I suggested that they send me the required shipping materials and a set of the redesigned stands, but this was not accepted. It has now become a matter for the State Attorney General in New Hampshire.
Overall, my experience with Rockville Audio has been frustrating and disappointing. While they may offer a Hassle-Free warranty, it seems that this may not always be the case. If you're considering buying from them, be sure to do your research and see what other customers have experienced before making a purchase.
Buyer Beware: Terrible Experience with Rockville Audio/Audio Savings
I recently had the misfortune of purchasing from AUDIO SAVINGS/ROCKVILLE AUDIO and I must say, it was not a pleasant experience. In fact, I have been tied up in a month-long ordeal with these people. I had bought some products from them about a year ago and I had every intention of finishing the system in my work truck through them. That is until now.
I had told my family about the system in my work truck and they were telling me how they couldn't afford to put decent sounds in their van. So, being the nice person that I am, I purchased some gear and was going to do it for them on their visit. I spent a lot of time on the phone, in chat rooms, and on email with these people to make sure everything went off without a hitch. I received order confirmation emails from these folks, shipping confirmation emails, and emails of delivery dates that have now come and gone from these folks.
Two weeks ago, when I questioned them about the lack of movement on the tracking, I was told "oh! We are so sorry for your inconvenience. Let me check on that and get you some answers and I will get back to you." Well, that never happened. I had someone on the phone that insisted my product had been loaded on a truck on May 11th and that FedEx just never picked up the truck. I really doubt FedEx is in the habit of leaving loaded trucks sit around for a week. Three times now, I have been on the phone with these folks, and they said "oh well, let's just give it a couple days to see if there's any movement on the tracking, and we'll get back to you." And of course, no one gets back to you. Every time I talk to someone, it is the same runaround, "Oh! I'm so sorry for your inconvenience. Let me check on that, and I will get back to you." I think I am well past the baker's dozen on "Oh! We are so sorry for your inconvenience. Let me get you some answers and get back to you."
I ordered the product on May 9th or 10th. I received a confirmation email about the order. On May 11th, I received emails stating that both of my packages had shipped. Two separate tracking numbers were included in those emails. The wiring kits showed up on the 13th. At this point, I have been following the tracking information and already know that my product is still sitting in New York. On May 17th, I received another email stating that my package would arrive by the end of the following day. Having been using the tracking number and knowing that my package was still sitting in New York, I had my doubts. But, I took May the 18th off work to receive the package in person for security reasons. May the 19th rolls around, and my family arrives in town, and all of the disappointment and chaos begins.
Dealing with the stress and disappointment brought on by my business with Rockville audio/audio savings led to a very ugly weekend. They have now long gone, and I have at least one family member that swears they will never visit my home again.
Today, on May 25th, I was finally able to get someone on the phone to look into this. THIS IS WHAT IT SAID..."Oh! I am so sorry for your inconvenience. Let me look into this for you. Oh! It looks like your order was never placed (which is odd, seeing as how I have an order #344256 confirmation. I have a laundry list of correspondence insisting that my package would be here.) And it continues..." What I can do for you today is reorder it, and you should get it in a couple of weeks. Or I could refund your money".
REALLY? After all of the stress, grief, and misery that this stupid stereo system has caused me? After the falling out with my family over this stupid stereo I'd literally set for an hour contemplating suicide. But, it sure is nice to know that RA/AS is "so sorry for your inconvenience."
To anyone considering Rockville audio or Audio savings (being the parent company), I say to you...JUST SAY NO!
PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF AND STRESS. I ASSURE YOU IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Disappointed with Rockville Audio's False Advertising of Copper Wire
I recently ordered some audio wire from Rockville Audio, and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed with what I received. I ordered 50 feet of #14 copper wire, but what I got was definitely not copper, and it was definitely not #14 wire. I've been an electrical contractor for over 50 years, so I know my wire, and what they sent me was #16 stranded steel wire. I mean, come on, guys, that's not even close!
I even checked the stamp on the wire, and it said it was #14 copper wire, but clearly that was a lie. I've included a photo so you can see for yourself. The wires on the bottom are what they sent me, and as you can see, they're not copper and they're not #14 wire. The wires on the top are what #14 copper wire should look like.
I bought this wire from Autozone, but I'm still pretty upset with Rockville Audio. I mean, if they're going to lie about something as basic as the type of wire they're selling, what else are they lying about? I sent them an email about the issue, but I haven't heard back from them yet. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend buying anything from Rockville Audio. They're clearly not trustworthy.
Rockville Audio Review: Poor Customer Service and Low-Quality Products
I gotta say, my experience with Rockville Audio was a real bummer. I mean, they're super nice when they're taking your money, but when it comes to actually fixing any problems with their equipment, forget about it! I've been trying to get in touch with their customer service department for weeks now, and I haven't gotten a single call back. It's like they don't even care about their customers once they've got their money.
And don't even get me started on the quality of their products. I thought I was getting a good deal, but it turns out their equipment is just straight up trash. I've had nothing but problems with it since I bought it, and when I tried to get some help from Rockville Audio, they just gave me the runaround. It's like they don't even stand behind their own products.
I know every business has unhappy customers, but this is just ridiculous. I wouldn't recommend Rockville Audio to anyone. If you're thinking about buying from them, do yourself a favor and spend a little extra money to go with a more reputable company. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle.
The one positive thing I learned from this experience is to always check reviews before buying anything. I wish I had done that before I bought from Rockville Audio. Hopefully my terrible experience can help someone else make a better choice. Good luck out there, folks.
Negligence and Poor Customer Service: My Experience with Rockville Audio and Fed Ex
I recently made a purchase on Rockville Audio's website for a stereo receiver and paid a total of $631.17. The delivery was handled by Fed Ex, but unfortunately, the package was left on my front porch and was stolen by a porch pirate. I immediately contacted Fed Ex to report the incident, but they referred me back to Southern Electronics, the parent company of Rockville Audio.
I have been trying to get assistance from Southern Electronics in resolving this issue, but all I have been getting is the run around. I was hoping that they could help me file a claim with Fed Ex for their negligence in leaving a valuable item like a stereo receiver unattended on my porch. This is a clear case of negligence, and I am disappointed that neither Southern Elec. nor Fed Ex is taking this matter seriously.
As a retired police officer from Phoenix, I cannot afford to do business with companies that do not take their customers' concerns seriously. I am out $637.17 and left with no stereo receiver. I strongly advise against buying from a company that uses Fed Ex for their deliveries. This incident has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I hope that other customers do not have to go through the same ordeal.
In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed in both Southern Electronics and Fed Ex for their lack of concern and assistance in resolving this issue. I hope that they take this matter seriously and provide me with the necessary support to file a claim and recover my lost funds.

Terrible Customer Service Experience with Rockville Audio: Unprofessional and Unresponsive
I gotta say, my experience with Rockville Audio has been a real bummer. I had to deal with this guy named ARVYN, and let me tell you, he was the worst customer service rep I've dealt with in years. He didn't seem to care about my concerns, and just followed a script instead of actually listening to me. And to top it off, he wouldn't even let me talk to a manager!
It's no surprise that Rockville Audio has such low ratings on sites like Better Business Bureau, Sitejabber, and Complaintsboss. I mean, their average rating is like 1.8 stars! My experience with them over the past couple months has been a total reflection of those reviews.
I've tried emailing them and asking for tech support, but I haven't gotten any answers. It's like they don't even care about their customers. It's really unprofessional, if you ask me.
I've placed a few orders with them, including ***, ***, ***, and ***. But honestly, I don't think I'll be ordering from them again. I'll keep posting about my experience and filing complaints until I can actually speak to someone in charge. It's just so disappointing that they've walled themselves off from their customers like this. The overseas call center is trying their best, but they can only do so much when they're stuck following a script.

Audio equipment
• Let’s start with ARVYN- the worst CSR I have dealt with in decades and with multiple industries. Unprofessional, doesn’t listen, and won’t think- only does what the prompts tell him to do. PLUS will not allow you to be connected to a Manager.
• It is no wonder that your company has below 2-star ratings format least three services- Better Business Bureau, Sitejabber, and Complaintsboss. The average is like 1.8. My experience with you over the past two months totally reflects these reviews.
• I will continue to post and file complaints until I speak with a Manager in the United States… So sad that you have walled-off your company management from actual contact with customers. The overseas call center tries hard but cannot think outside of the screen prompts!

Disappointing Experience with Rockville Audio: Incompetence, Broken Promises, and Lack of Customer Care
I gotta say, my experience with Rockville Audio was not so great. Like seriously, I can't even put into words how bad it was. From the get-go, it was pretty obvious that the people running this company have no clue what they're doing. It's like they just don't care about anything except for taking people's money.
So I ordered something from them, and of course, they didn't follow through with what they promised. At first, I thought it was just a minor mistake, but then I realized their incompetence was causing me to lose business opportunities. I mean, c'mon man, it's common decency to do what you say you're gonna do.
The worst part is that they don't seem to care about the consequences of their actions. It's like they think they can just take people's money and do whatever they want. I'm telling you, this is not how you run a business. They're a complete disgrace to the business community.
To sum it up, I wouldn't recommend Rockville Audio to anyone. And honestly, my experience with them was so bad that I wouldn't be surprised if they end up going out of business soon. Don't waste your time or money on these clowns.
Rockville Audio: Tech Support and Customer Reviews
I recently came across Rockville Audio while searching for a good audio receiver online. I was drawn to their RPA60BT V2 receiver which was described as having a 5.2 audio setup. But when I checked another page for the same product, it was listed as a 2.0 unit instead. I was confused and needed some clarification so I decided to give Rockville Audio's tech support a call.
The representative who answered my call was helpful and patient. They explained that the real spec for the RPA60BT V2 was 2.0 or stereo, not 5.2 as I had initially thought. I was pleased with their professionalism and expertise. However, I had never heard of "Rockville Pro Sound & Lighting" before, so I decided to do some research and read customer reviews for the company.
To my dismay, most of the reviews were negative, with an average rating of 2 stars at best. I was surprised to find out that there were so many complaints and unresolved issues from previous customers. It made me hesitant about ordering from Rockville Audio and getting their product.
Despite my disappointment, I was determined to find a good 5.2 receiver for my audio setup. I continued searching for other options and eventually found a receiver that met all my needs. Although I didn't end up purchasing anything from Rockville Audio, I appreciate the assistance I received from their tech support and the opportunity to learn more about their company.
In conclusion, if you're considering purchasing from Rockville Audio, I advise you to do your research first. Take the time to read customer reviews and check the product specs to ensure that you're getting what you need. While Rockville Audio may not be the right choice for everyone, they do have some decent products that you might be interested in.
Rockville Audio Review: Disappointed and Frustrated by Late Delivery and Poor Customer Service
I was really excited to get my hands on the Rockville 10 inch sub and amplifier combo kit from Rockville Audio. I placed my order on the 28th of October, 2021 through AudioSavings. The next day, I received an email stating that my order had already shipped and that I should expect it to be delivered on the 4th of November, 2021.
Sadly, I was truly disappointed that I never got any other update after that, and it's already the 5th of November, 2021, and I have not received anything yet. I thought about reaching out to them to know what was happening with my order, but then I thought to just request a refund instead. When I reached out to them about the refund, they said it was impossible since the order had already shipped.
I was really surprised, and I couldn't believe it. How come did it already ship when I didn't even receive any other update after the first email on the 29th of October, 2021? I thought they were lying, but then I did some research and reached out to FedEx to understand the kind of situation it was.
At this point, I got frustrated because FedEx told me that they had not received any shipment from the supposed sender at all. So, I quickly reached out to Rockville Audio to let them know what I had been told by the delivery company; however, I just kept getting a run-around and no proper explanation. It is really disappointing, and I regret ordering from these people. I feel like I have just got scammed.
It's such a shame that this is the experience that I had with Rockville Audio, and I wouldn't advise anyone to order from them. Their customer service was not helpful at all, and it seemed like a scam. Therefore, be careful when shopping from this website, and take some cautionary steps to avoid going through the same terrible experience that I had.
Warning: Rockville Audio Is a Scam - Do Not Purchase From Them
I was really disappointed with Rockville Audio, and would strongly urge anyone considering buying something from this website to stay away. I made a purchase for $197, but my item never arrived, and I have not been able to get in touch with customer service to resolve the issue.
It seems that Rockville Audio is operating as a scam, taking people's money without delivering their products. They claim that the issue is with FedEx, but I'm not convinced that this is actually the case. It seems much more likely that they are using this as an excuse to keep people's money without having to provide anything in return.
I've tried to get a refund, but they have been completely unresponsive. I feel like I've lost my money for good, and I'm really angry about it. I strongly advise other people to avoid doing any business with this company - sadly, it seems like a big scam.
Rockville Audio Review: Unacceptable Delay & Lack of Transparency in Shipping Process
I made an order for the HT S56 product from Rockville Audio website on the 9th of December 2020. They gave me a FedEx shipping number that same day, but I haven't seen my product as of December 23,2020. Having communicated with Rockville through email, they claimed that the Covid-19 pandemic caused the delay in the delivery. To me, this isn't acceptable because the delay has gone for over two weeks.
Rockville also claimed that FedEx is experiencing a shortage of trailers due to the high demand. However, they can't refund me because the product is shrink-wrapped and on a pallet inside a trailer. I felt like I should have researched more about Rockville Audio before buying from them as most of the reviews are bad. If you are wise, I recommend that you steer clear of this company and find a more reputable brand with good reviews.
It's frustrating to have to wait so long for a product that I ordered online, and the lack of transparency from Rockville Audio is even more frustrating. As a customer, I expect a certain level of service, and I didn't get that from this company. Therefore, it's important to do your due diligence before purchasing any product online to avoid such situations. I wouldn't buy anything from this company again, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Terrible Experience with Rockville Audio: Misleading Claims and Poor Customer Service
So, let's talk about Rockville Audio. They claim to be experts in audio and have a wide range of products on their website. However, I had a really bad experience with them.
First of all, they claim to test their speakers at 4000 watts, which is way higher than the speakers are actually designed for. This can potentially damage the speakers and render them useless. Most companies only test their speakers at the designed wattage, but Rockville Audio seems to have a different approach.
When I contacted them about this issue, they didn't reply for days. It was frustrating not getting any response from them. When I finally got an answer from them, it was disappointing. They didn't give me any explanation or assurance that my speakers were okay. Instead, they just told me what I already knew.
When I asked for a refund of my $400, they didn't give me any answer for days either. It's not good customer service to keep your customers waiting for so long. I think they should have sent my money back as soon as possible, but they seemed to be dragging their feet on it.
I work in car audio installation, and I know that you need to be careful with the speakers you use. Testing them beyond their limits can cause damage and degrade their performance. I'm disappointed that a company like Rockville Audio, which claims to be experts in audio, doesn't seem to understand this basic principle.
Overall, I had a terrible experience with Rockville Audio. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, and I'm definitely not going to do business with them again. I think they need to reassess their approach to customer service and quality testing. Until then, I'll be looking for a different supplier for my audio needs.
Terrible Customer Service Experience with Rockville Audio: Unreliable Shipping & Lack of Communication
I gotta say I had a pretty bad experience with Rockville Audio. The thing is, I ordered something way back in March, but I never received it from FedEx. At least that's what I thought at first. Now I'm not even sure if Rockville even shipped it out in the first place, cuz when I got in touch with FedEx they told me to open an investigation with Rockville. So I did, and they told me they'd look into it for me.
But, like, a whole month went by and I still hadn't heard anything back. I called them up three more times after that and all I got was radio silence. Then on the 29th of June, I finally had enough and asked for a refund. I was put on hold for ages and then told that they had issued the refund and I should get it within 5-7 business days. That was over a week ago and still no dice.
Let me tell you, this was supposed to be a birthday gift for my husband and he never even got it. I'm super disappointed and honestly, it feels like Rockville doesn't care at all about their customers. I wish I had read some reviews before ordering from them cuz I don't think I would have bothered. Overall, terrible customer service and just an all-around bad experience.
Disappointing Experience with Rockville Audio: Wrong Speakers, No Response, and Unexpected Charges
I had a bit of a disappointing experience with Rockville Audio when I was looking to buy a new set of speakers. I came across their site while browsing on eBay and thought I'd give them a shot. Unfortunately, things didn't go quite as smoothly as I had hoped.
To start off, they ended up sending me the wrong speakers. I was pretty frustrated about this because it was such a basic mistake to make. I contacted them to let them know and they did at least give me an RMA and a return label. So far so good, right?
Well, when I asked them to send me the speakers I had originally purchased, I never heard back from them. No response at all. I wasn't sure what was going on, so I just returned the wrong speakers they had sent me and waited to hear back.
When they received the speakers, they gave me a partial refund. The reason they gave me was that the box had been opened. Which was true, since I had had to open it to see that they had sent me the wrong thing. But the product was never removed and it was never used- I promise!
That wasn't the end of things, either. Rockville Audio then charged me for the return shipping. I couldn't believe it! I'd never dealt with a company before that had made a mistake and then charged me for their error. And on top of all that, they didn't answer any of my emails!
I was pretty frustrated with them at this point, so I asked eBay to step in and help. I'm happy to report that they did manage to make things right in the end by refunding me the rest of the money that Rockville had held back. But man, what a hassle!
Warning: Stay Far Away from Rockville Audio and Associated Companies - Worst Customer Service and Fraudulent Practices!
I am absolutely fuming right now, and if it were possible to give zero stars, I certainly would. I made the mistake of ordering a complete system from Rockville Audio, and it is safe to say that it has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Firstly, I received an incomplete order and to make matters worse, it was incorrect. It was delivered to me by audiosavings.com, who, as it turns out, are also a nightmare to try and get in touch with.
I frantically tried calling both companies on numerous occasions, hoping to speak to someone about the issue, but all I could get was the same recording by the same man, telling me that they could not answer calls from customers. To add insult to injury, when I sent emails to both companies, the only response I got was from eBay. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't order from eBay - I ordered from Rockville Audio, who once again have proven themselves to be completely incompetent.
Determined to get to the bottom of things, I reached out to my credit card company who were eventually able to provide me with a phone number. However, when I called it, I discovered that the recording was from yet another company called E distributes - a company which, as it transpired, is permanently closed.
So, to recap: I have had to deal with four different companies (Rockville Audio, audiosavings.com, eBay and E distributes), each with their own phone number and email address, and yet despite all of this, I have received zero responses or answers. It goes without saying that their customer service is non-existent, and their business practices are extremely fraudulent.
As a word of caution, I would strongly advise anyone considering ordering from Rockville Audio or any of the aforementioned associated companies, to think twice. In fact, don't just take my word for it - check out their BBB ratings and you'll see that there are many complaints with the same issues. Believe me when I say that the nightmare I've had to endure is not something that you want to experience for yourself.
Stay Away from Rockville Audio's DVD Headrest System - A Nightmare to Deal With
So, I gotta tell you about my experience with Rockville Audio. Ya see, I got this DVD headrest system with a touch-screen and earphones for my Acura, and I bought it last year through Walmart.com. I was so stoked, ya know? Like, this was gonna be such a game-changer for my kids on long car rides. But lemme tell ya, it's been a huge headache.
I've had to switch out the whole system four different times already in the past 10 months. Every time one of them breaks, Rockville (who I got it from) makes me take out everything - the remotes, the wires, even the headrests, and put it all back in the box to mail it back (I gotta pay for that too). And then, I gotta wait for weeks to get the replacement. One time they even sent it back without fixing anything, so I had to start all over and send it back again (again, at my expense).
I gotta say, these products are totally without value. They don't work. They're like a bad joke. The headrests keep malfunctioning, so it's like why did I even bother? I'm actually about to send it back for the fifth time now. It's like they just made these suckers to be decoration or something. Don't waste your time or your money with them. It's just a terrible idea that they didn't bother to make it good.
